Geography
The Republic of the Battlehawk is a coastal nation to the south. To the north are the Battlehawk montain range, eastwards is the Grendo Rainforest where the Battlehawk makes its home and to the west the land slips down into marshland. The Battlehawk is a land of change, with different conditions in different Places
History
The Republic of the Battlehawk was officially founded on October 12th 1812. This was following a long bloody revoulotion by the citizens of the now long dead Archeian empire, whose land the ROTB now ocuppies. The Citizens rose up against the corrupt dictatorship and formed their own govermants. Over the next 200 years the Battlehawk grew quickly and soon became a beacon of Human, Civil and Soverign rights across the world.
Economics
The Economy of the Battlehawk is strong and is still growing. Very few people in the Battlehawk are below the Poverty line due to initiatives brought into action by past presidents. The Battlehawk is a large exporter of natural ore which is abundant in the Northan Range. Additionally the Battlehawk balances the cost of the use Of Nuclear powerstations against the cost of the Extraction and use of Fossil Fuels.
Military
The Battlehawk has a large percentage of its population compared to its size. This is due to the compulsary military service for a year. Additionally the Standard of condtions in the Military encourage many to remain in the service. Standard on Duty Persoanl on operations abroad stands at 1,000,000. Those surving in Military instalations both abroad and in the Battlehawk stands at 3,000,000. Those who can be ready for action within 24 hours stands at 5,000,00 and is the main Reserve. The Secondary reserve is 10,000,000 who are battleready in 72 hours.
