Following a recent change in government policy regarding the handover of Googlewooper territory to foreign governments, the establishment of a limited number of embassies in the capital, Googleopolis has been made possible. The particulars of the new exchange program have been detailed in a letter from the President, addressed to the international community.
Letter from the President, the Googleistic Democracy of Googlewoop…
To the leaders of the international community in general,
On behalf of the cabinet and parliament of the Googleistic Democracy of Googlewoop, it is my pleasure to offer you, for the first time, an embassy in our capital, Googleopolis. Recent changes in foreign policy, pushed through by my government have sanctioned the building of complex of residential and embassy buildings as well as a heliport nearby and an extension to Googleopolis International Airport, dedicated to embassy related use. These facilities are brand new and incorporate state of the art architecture and superb functionality.
Googlewoop is interested in forming embassy relations with any friendly, peaceful nations, however, at least some level of ‘democracy’ in your nation’s system of government is a requirement for application.
Should you be interested in our new embassy program, please peruse the short description of our facilities provided and fill out and return the application form attached.
Regards
Jon Hay

Location
The Embassy Complex is located directly west of the Parliament Building and Presidential Offices which can be seen from the complex. Main road access is by Diplomatic Pde, a renamed section of Triumvirate Ave, the main street running past the government offices. The heliport is west of the complex and while Googleopolis International Airport is some distance away, easy transport to and from has been incorporated into the design of the new diplomatic terminal.
Design
The design of the embassy complex proper was awarded to renowned Googlewooper architect, Stephanie Hoop who entered a design featuring a combination of stylish, colonial residential buildings and a fresh, modern look for the business front of the embassy complex. Examples of her work on the project can be seen here ( http://www.nswiki.net/images/GooglewoopEmbassyReception.jpg).
The Embassy Complex
Embassies are built on long blocks and are grouped into sections of ten with street access on the north and south sides of each section and linking roads on the east and west. The street-front of each embassy is a reception building with the main embassy offices housed in a double story building behind. At the rear of each block are the residential builings; 2 story, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom homes with spacious outdoor and pool areas. Blocks are well secured with stylish fencing and hedges on all sides.
Heliport
The heliport consists of a brand new terminal and lounge with private areas including and conference room and hanger space for one aircraft for each embassy. The area is kept well secured by Googlewooper Parliamentary Guards.
New Embassy Terminal, Googleopolis Internationl Airport
The dedicated extension to the international airport contains private lounge and temporary accommodation, as well as conference facilities and hanger space for one small jet for each embassy. While some distance from other facilities, a dedicated underground rail system is under construction and near completion, linking the terminal with the city via a station at The Embassy Complex Heliport.
