Kereptecean Embassy Program

Announcement

The Allied Congress of the New Kereptica hereby announces the creation of the Kereptecean Embassy Program, an effort to broaden the horizon of international interconnectivity withing New Kereptica. If you wish to create and embassy in New Kereptica, please review the information below, and fill out the requisite application form, also provided below

General Information

The Kereptecean Embassy Program (Referred to from here as KEP) currently encompasses 50 lots, located on either side of the International Boulevard, a main thoroughfare through Kaara, the capital of the Allied States of New Kereptica. The lots measure 120m*90m, with over 1 hectare in total area. Embassies and the land they are on will be treated as nothing short of extensions of the government that is represented there. Embassy employees will enjoy diplomatic immunity as specified below.

Extents of Diplomatic Immunity

From here on, employees of a nation's embassy in New Kereptica will be divided into two categories. Any citizens of the nation which controls the embassy is hereby defined in the National Class. Kereptecean citizens are in the Citizen Class.

Any crime committed by a member of the National Class is legally nonpunishable by Kereptecean Police forces. In addition to this, any National cannot be legally detained by Kereptecean Police or Military forces. Nationals can however, be prevented from entering any area deemed sufficiently vital to national security, accepting the embassy itself. If a crime is attributed to a National, the KEP reserves the right to request that the offending National be withdrawn to the home nation, and to prevent that National from leaving the embassy grounds.

Members of the Citizen Class are fully punishable under Kereptecean law. They can be detained by Kereptecean Police forces, following of course the due process of law and the attribution of a sufficient amount of evidence on that Citizen. If a Citizen has committed a crime, and that Citizen refuses to leave the grounds of the embassy, or is being detained by the embassy staff, the KEP reserves the right to demand extradition of the Citizen.

Restrictions on the Contents of an Embassy

No more then 50 armed guards are permitted in a single embassy. The total number of guards must be specified below, along with their armament.
Guards may not be armed with automatic firearms, or firearms exceeding 5.56x45mm caliber.
Explosive and directed-energy weapons are not permitted.
Crowd control weapons, such as tear gas and mace, are not permitted. Protection from civilian threats will be provided by the Kaara Municipal Police Force, with aid when required by the Kereptecean National Guard.
Vehicle-mounted weapons are not permitted.
Any weapons produced by the M.A.C. Heavy Industries company are expressly forbidden.
No more then 70 diplomatic employees.
No more then 30 support employees. (Custodial staff, technical staff, ect.)
No more then 6 vehicles.
Armor plated vehicles are permitted.
No aircraft other than helicopters.
No more then 2 helicopters.
Nations may either construct their own embassy, or supply specifications for construction by KEP.

The relationship between our two nations has been rocky, to put it lightly, but closer diplomatic ties can only aid in the mutual development of nations. The application, as you may have guessed, has been accepted. Your embassy has been assigned to Lot 40, adjacent to embassy from the Democratic Republic of Asiom. As your nation specified that it would prefer to construct the embassy, your requested addition of an incinerator is almost entirely superfluous, requiring only consent by the Mayor of Kaara to bypass zoning laws.
