Following the unfortunate death of the Prime Minister of Parilisa during a recent air disaster, the President and Parliament have voted in favour of holding a public vote for the replacement. The Right-Wing Coalition Parties, Liberal Democrat Party, Parilisan Communist Party, Parilisan Conservative Party and the Blubbabagu Party have all put forward a candidate.

Candidate: Wolfgang von Kapper
Party: The Right-Wing Coalition Parties (Fascist)
Current Seats Held by Party: 43
Policies: Bringing back the monarchy, brining back the Inquisitorial Office, removing all immigrants, banning all religions other than Catholicism, building up the military.

Candidate: Hugo Parl
Party: Liberal Democrat Party
Current Seats Held by Party: 107
Policies: Democratic government, legalisation of marijuana, protection of Civil Rights.

Candidate: Nikoli Frauz
Party: Parilisan Communist Party
Current Seats Held by Party: 18
Policies: Complete equality, collectivised farming, installation of a single ruler elected by the people, destruction of the class system, and power to the workers.

Candidate: Jakob Streisseman
Party: Parilisan Conservative Party
Current Seats Held by Party: 17
Policies: Return to traditional values, power to the middle classes, building up the military.

Candidate: Dolly the Camel
Party: Blubbabagu Party
Current Seats Held by Party: 7
Policies: The declaration of Dolly the Camel as universal ruler, all currency being replaced by bananas.

Ascelonia hereby endorses Dolly the Camel for ruler of Parilisa. This is mainly because Ascelonia will supply bananas in case Dolly the Camel's policies are enacted.
