The Community of Cowrie is ready to recieve overtures for the purpose of Embassy Construction, with a view to improving it's foreign relations and integrating fully with the outside World. There are no restrictions upon Nations for entry, everybody is welcome here for the time being. Please apply with the application form provided.

Should the basic tennets of civility be breached however, your embassy's name below may appear in red. This means that you currently have restrictions placed on your embassy - although the interior of your embassy will of course be respected as your own soil.

Plot 1 - Free Republic of Lamoni
Town-house in marina complex with helipad on roof - movements of military staff restricted to Kawakawa Bay.
Numerous herb baskets, tomato, lettuce and basil arrangements, and strawberry hanging spheres are appearing on the doorsteps (presents from concerned citizens at the lack of food-related windowboxes in a community where fresh food is the dinner table topic of conversation du jour). One boy has brought a potted banana tree.

Plot 2 - Whiskeasy Parking Building
A, now slightly overshadowed, wonder and attraction to all citizens of Cowrie: Cubic adobe bunker surrounded by topiary citrus trees - movements of military staff restricted to Kawakawa Bay.
One elderly lady still waits at the door with a matchbox of lady-birds for the aphid infestation that is mostly gone from the citrus trees. The remains of a picnic on the steps are being disposed of by the locval bird life in a surprisingly efficient manner.

Plot 3 - The Silverwolf Suspension Dome:
A perfect sphere, constructed entirely of soundproofed glass, suspended by steel cable from geostationary satellite. - movements of military staff restricted to Kawakawa Bay.
The nearby coastline is deep water due to the absence of whitesand beach just there. In it's place: a deep water pier has become popular with the loacls as a fishing spot. An old man of possibly chinese origin is mowing the neatly clipped lawn underneath with a well-maintained hand mower. Hot air balloons with revellers pass from time to time and offer one ride at a time.

A townhouse built/grown entirely of living and well-aged timbers. The effect is a little that of a tree-house but far more seamless and far more grand - movements of military staff restricted to Kawakawa Bay.
Two elderly ladies are waiting at the door with matchboxes of lady-birds for any possible aphid infestation given the newness and rapid growth required for this form of construction. They have started a picnic on the steps and are heckling the last builder who is working with a botanist to ensure the ongoing health of the dwelling is maintained.

We are very pleased to accept your embassy on our trading soil of Kawakawa Bay. On arrival, any of our citizens will gladly assist you in finding your way to Plot 1. It appears the buiklders have been overeager and already built Townhouses on site but if this does not prove suitable, simply let us know.

Please do not be alarmed if the locals arrive at your doorstep next week with home-baked goods and fresh fruits. The people of Cowrire are eager to meet the world.

Due to international events, particularly those in Descan, we are restricting the wider movements of military staff outside of Kawakawa Bay township. Our populous are not accustomed to military on the streets except in case of natural disaster relief so the measure is to ensure that the opening of our borders does not alarm the community before good relations are established. With a little time we expect, this restriction may be lifted. In the meantime, you are of course welcome to explore Kawakawa Bay: there is a farmer's market twice weekly at the central pier, plenty of fishing, adventure-sports and a thriving society district (bars, cafes, country clubs) all within town limits. Any non-military staff may of course roam further afield.

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties and bureaucratic wranglings, the government of Cowrie has been incommunicado for the past few weeks. Emerging from a continuous closed session of caucus for a few minutes, the following notice was issued:

"Welcome is extended to Jen Hillary of the Commonweath of Whiskeasy.
Our rather enthusiastic builders have interpreted your unusual requirement for multiple vehicles in a country with free and efficient public and/or shared transport as a new and interesting challenge. This effort has resulted in the first parking building in the Community. This is a cubic adobe bunker with miniature rainforests and algal pond filtration systems overcompensating for the fumes that may or may not be emmitted by your stable of vehicles in the subfloor levels where your vehicles are free to roam.
Your 20 embassy staff have all been invited to weeklong hot air ballooning safaris at their leisure. Jen Hillary and her family will by now have recieved the overtures of dozens of their neighbours. A BBQ will be held on a pontoon in the harbour tommorrow night. All locals and visitors from Whiskeay and Lamoni are invited. Please bring a plate but expect to be well fed on fish, lamb chops, organic fruit, grilled garden vegetables and homemade pizzas. The university staff are at your disposal - although we would prefer to have you come and visit _us_ at this stage. I do hope you enjoy your accomodations. We have some rather over-zealous building professionals here whose understanding of "bare plot" and "available for construction" is limited to an impression that it must directly apply to them. I must admit the resultant architecture is really rather remarkable in this case. I do hope that none of your people have any great fear of heights nor any tendency to vertigo. A perfect sphere, suspended by steel cable from a geostationary satellite - my, they really have outdone themselves! And all constructed entirely of glass... it may interest you to know that an entire beach was used in the construction of that - which would explain the deep water pier. We really must congratulate you for inspiring such a flight of fancy as this.

I do hope that Yae Yakuta will be happy in the accomodations provided. Our seemingly inexhaustable builders are currently a little back logged so they have provided a townhouse upon the plot built entirely of living and well-aged timbers.
