Welcome to the Elections for The Shazbotdom Empire. Today we will run the elections for several key positions within the Shazbotdom Government. Below is a listing of the people running for the positions as well as which position they are running for. The positions that are being fought for are extremely important to the lawmaking of the Shazbotdom Empire, which includes the homeland of Shazbotdom and the four colonies (Alraibris, Bolrasha, Halnara and Shazbotdom Miroxia).

Voting will be done via here. Please use the Ballot below. Fax your Ballots to the Shazbotdom National Election Offices. They will be scanned electronically into a computer where they will be counted. For voting purposes, we will only accept ONE vote per nation, this is to ensure the quality of the election from the viewpoint of the international community. Please note that the National Elections already have taken place, and the results of the National Election are in no way reflected by the Inter-National Elections. The Candidates are listed in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th posts in the thread.

The one thing that is known though is that with the election of a new Supreme Emperor, the Joint Chiefs of Staff will either be changed, or be disolved entirely. It is too early to tell which one it will be though.

The International Elections are just to see who the leadership of other nations, (be them hostile, neutral, or friendly) want to be the next Leadership Group of the Shazbotdom Empire.

If a nation wishes to remain anonymous with their voting. Their Ballot can be Telegrammed to the Shazbotdom Empire.

Jefferson K. Smith
(3nd Time in Election -- 2nd Time in Supreme Emepror's Election)
Neo-Nazi – Has continued his commitment to the thought of killing off any impure ''bastards'' who live within the Empire. Will stop at nothing to kill off any non-white persons. He has quit the Republican Party but stole their spot in the election for the Supreme Emperors Position.

George Beshin
(2nd Time in Election)
Republican – Has only gone on record as stating that he will make sure that the GLBT community be stricken from the nation through the use of Gas Chambers and public executions in Shazbotdom Square, Shaz City.

Father Henrick
(2nd Time in Election -- 1st Time in Supreme Emperor Election)
Independant – Leader of the Alraibris Catholic Church, Father Henrick has stated that he will do whatever is nessicary to spread the teachings of the lord to the whole world. He will abolish any and all other religions in the Colony and make it so that the Catholic Church becomes the official church of the Colony.

(Running Re-election -- 2nd Time in Colonial Election)
Socialist Shazbot – Believes in peace through negotiation. Will stop at nothing to help ensure peace through the art of negotiation. She believes that a strong military is needed to be recognized by the International Community, but believes that the research into new ways to kill people is not needed.

Sherry Thompson
(2nd Time in Election -- 1st Time in Alraibris Colonial Election)
Independent – Has gone on record stating that she will install a Perminant Dictatorship in Alraibris. She will also bring the nation into the fold of the most powerful nations of the world, by using the Shazbotdom Strategic Arsenal against any nation which attempts to force 'Democracy' onto the people of the Colony.

Socialist Shazbot – Shares the same view points as his sister-in-law, who happens to be running for Prime Minister of Alraibris. Peace should be attained through Negotiation before anything else.

Amanda Bowerstone
(4th Time in Election -- 1st Time in Bolrasha Colonial Election)
Democrat – Believes that the political view of all the other candidates is too narrow-minded. The needs of the people should outweigh the needs of the government. Has continued on her campaign to ban any drugs, be it medicinal or recreational, aspirin or marijuana.

Trance Blethgran III
(2st Time in Election -- 1st Time in Bolrasha Colonial Election)
Independent – Will give no one any rights. Has stated that he will kill anyone who questions his power. Possibly will form a civil defense and attack anyone who disagrees with him.

(Running Re-Election)
Socialist Shazbot – Believes that equality for all is the wave of the future. Will give full rights to everyone in the Colony to make it a shining beacon of hope for the entirety of the Shazbotdom Empire. He would make all forms of Marrage Legal, be it Heterosexual or Homosexual.

Richard "Ricky" Harrington
(4th Time in Election -- 1st Time in Colonial Election)
Independent –The official political view of Mr. Harrington is that the Entire World is getting too liberal. He has continued his stance on making marriage between two males illegal but have marriage between two females legal.

Socialist Shazbot – She has stated that she will push for the Colony to become a major trading outpost for the Shazbotdom Empire, letting Miroxia set up small companies and trading centers to bring peace between the two populaces. Will allow free travel between Miroxia and Shazbotdom Miroxia, giving the Miroxians near the same rights in the colony as the colonists themselves.

Justin Sherinoth
(1st Time in Election)
Pure Communist – Has gone on record stating that he will destroy any and all corporations within the Colony and reform them under full government control, bringing monies from the National Budget to run the companies but setting up CEO's for any and all companies in the Colony, but those CEO's will be on the payroll of the Colony.

Joe R. Transtrath
(2nd Time in Election -- 1st Time in Colonial Election)
Independent – The only thing that Mr. Transtrath has said in an official message is that he will, "Do whatever it takes to make the Colony safe." Which is the same thing he stated in the last election.
