OOC: In order to join this I ask that you are either already allied with my country or simply post an OOC request or IC telegram requesting involvement in this thread. Also, before anybody says anything: yes, this is based off the awesome move "Hunt for Red October".
The U.N.V Baranyi, a Virginia-class nuclear attack submarine, had recntly dissapeared while on a training run at the border of Ursavian waters. At the moment military command was thinking that only one of two things could have likely happened: that they had suddenly decided to go rouge, or that they had come across mechanical complications that had stopped them from radioing for aid. As a result dozens of vessels, aircraft, and other submarines were being released to search the Ursavian waters in an event that soon became televised across all of Ursava.

We have recently lost contact with the crew of the U.N.V Baranyi along the edges of our waters. All attempts to contact them have proved useless and we are currently dispatching a search-force in order to recover them in the event of mechanical difficulties or, if need be, recovery of bodies and equipment if we find ourselves too late. We ask for all nations that might come across this vessel to please gather the crew and send them back to Ursava as soon as possible along with the aformentioned vessel. Any and all aid efforts will be appriciated.
