OOC: If it supports democracy, shouldn't diplomats rather than military officers be sent?

By saying, 'not lower than colonel' you assume everyone's military rank structure is the same - what if I used the term Colonel for my entry level recruits?
Darkombye
30-10-2008, 21:18
when i sad colonel i meant as in your lowest level staff officer and yes you can send dioplomats if you want
Darkombye
30-10-2008, 21:20
I have changed the requirements
Uiri
30-10-2008, 21:24
You have not answered either question.

What would you do if I used Colonel for an entry-level recruit, and thus, as such, sent an entry-level recruit? (I apologize for not fully explaining earlier)?

Should it not be that diplomats - rather than military officers - are sent to the IIL?

I love the fact that an organization dedicated to gathering intelligence for the sake of democracy has failed to properly spell both intelligence and democracy.

OK,
Yes I agree with you although some nations(futuramaworld and casablancan africa) I have talked to said they wanted to have military men rather than diplomats.
Also I have said that you must send your LOWEST level staff officer (it doesn't matter what you call it)

"Sorry sir, what was it again?"

"You're being sent off to some foreign market... Dark-omlet or something, just get in the plane,"

"Why?"

"Because you damn well can't fly all that way by yourself, now get in!"

"No, why am I being-" Before Horatio Morhbacher could finish his sentence, the large security man had finished manhandling him through the compartment and slid the heavy steel door shut behind him, trapping the young man in the cargo bay of a small transport plane.

"Heh, they told you as much as they did me, I see," came the voice, startling Horatio enough to cause him to turn and jump away from the noise, backing into the now well-secured door,

"Well, actually," the bald, middle aged man in the Star Goat Security uniform continued, "They told me a slight bit more..."

Horatio slid down the door into a sitting position, and, with a sigh, addressed his companion, "Who are you then, a friend of the big chap out there, are you?"

"No, no, not quite, he had a harder time with me than he did you," he paused for a moment before continuing, "Well, I am Brian Leonard Prescott, of the Star Goat Security company, and you are Horatio Morhbacher; for the next few months, my only company from home."

"How is it you know my name?"

"I know a fair bit more than that; you're one of the few things I did receive information on before we left..."

"Who told you about me?"

"Human Resources..." said Brian with a groan, "They're the ones behind our deployment here..."

"Deployment?" asked Horatio, questioning the strange word,

"Yes," continued Brian, "We have been selected to represent Star Goat Trading Company, and by extension, the conglomerate as a whole, in some intelligence consortium."

"What!" exclaimed Horatio, "What?" he said again, slower,

"Yeah, that's what I said."

Horatio leaned back against the door, and Brian reclined in his jump seat against the wall, "Oh, before I forget," continued Brian, "You've been promoted; Assistant Vice President of Marketing!"

Horatio Morhbacher then proceeded to slide the rest of the way down, and stared at the ceiling of the plane for the next seven hours...

"Say wha?" replied James.
"We're headed for Darkombebi," replied the pilot.
"It's Darkombye", said another voice.
"Darkomlet, Darkombebi, I don't care," said the pilot.
"Alright, get up," said the first voice as he pulled James up.
"William!, it's been a while!" James greeted his comrade.
"Don't worry, we'll have a chance to catch up", William replied.
As the helicopted flew into the sunset, heading for Darkombye, the three men, William, James, and the diplomat, got ready for the mission of their lives.

Almost at the same time the plane and heliocopter landed.
The Sun had just set and the wind was making it very difficult to land.
Major General Derkoi-Edwards walked towards the The Bathist Conglomerate of Fintlewoodle's aircraft and welcomed the delegates to Darkombye.
'Thank you sir but can you give us some more Infomation on what we will be doing here?' Asked Horatio Morhbacher.
'Yes but it can wait for when we get to H.Q.' Said the General.
At that moment a Large 4X4 with the Darkombian coat of arms on the side pulled up and a door swung open.
'Sir H.Q requires you back now' said the driver
'Of course but I just need to greet the delegation from The National Army of Yanbania
and can you organise a car for the delegates from both countries?'
'Yessir' said the driver
Nikloi walked towards the Heliocopter and shook hands withe each man in turn.
'A car will arrive for you shortly.' Said the General
'Thank you' said one of the men.
With that the General walked towards his car and got in.

As V.B., James, and William got in their newly arrived car, they discussed their duties in this country.
"Wait, so the point of this is to... keep an eye on the capitalists?" asked James.
"Exactly," replied V.B.
"But why?"
"We think they may pose a threat to our embassies."
"But democracies are --"
"Not democracies you fool! Capitalists!"
"There's no diffe--"
"There's a big difference. Capitalist pigs screw around with money. True democracies embrace the freedom of the people."
"Our nation isn't even --"
"It's not a nation. It's a regional army fool!"
"So that's why we have no civil rights?"
"We have no POLITICAL rights. We have civil rights. Anyway, we're an army. We don't have political rights."
"Oh...."

As the trio arrived at the hotel they'd be staying at, they were greeted by a bellhop.
When they arrived at their rooms on the 10th floor, they stretched out on their beds. William turned on the T.V. and James started e-mailing his aquaintances on his laptop. V.B. went out for a smoke and left $500 in cash for the two to do whatever they wanted.

The next day was the first day on the job for everyone who had been sent by their nation or regional army.
Armoured cars pulled up outside the I.I.L headquarters on Embassy Boulevard and out stepped Nikloi and the other delegates and at that exact moment the door swung open and they walked towards their respective offices.
