Queen Charlette of Anglia gives birth to a son!
It has been confirmed by unnamed sources that Queen Charlette of Anglia has given birth to a baby boy on Monday afternoon, at the Marble Palace.
Queen Charlette made political waves in both Lamoni and Anglia by marrying a Lamonian; Gerald Smythe, the son of the Lamonian ambassador to Anglia. King-Consort Gerald was said to be by Her Highness' side during the entire birthing process, and is said to be comforting his wife after the birth, with their new son at their side. Both the baby and Queen Charlette are said to be in excellent condition, and will be curtailing their public appearances for the next week as they adjust to the new addition to their lives.
President Stinson of Lamoni commented favorably on the situation. "The whole nation of Lamoni would like to express their well wishes for Queen Charlette and King-Consort Gerald during this happy occasion. It is our hope that the child will grow up to be a well respected heir to the Anglian throne, and continue the excellent relations between the Free Republic and Anglia."
The Nephi Times would like to add it's own congratulations and well wishes to the happy couple, and their new son. We have been unable to determine the name of the baby thus far, but will keep you advised as new information is unearthed.
