Californian President Sandra Dévnostraéva today introduced GSSC — Global Security and Strategy Corporation, a private military contracting agency that will be dealing directly with the executive branch of the Californian government. "With this corporation in place and with ready and willing employees to begin work for GSSC in the near future we hope to give an upper hand to our regular armed forces throughout the world that have been trying with great effort to deal with nations and individuals that we consider a threat to our national security in places such as Cuba, Iraq, Eastern Africa, Southern Africa and other areas that would threaten the Californian Commonwealth."
With the founding of the GSSC many members of the Parliament have voiced strong opinions about the founding of the controversial corporation and their choosing to place their headquarters in Greater Los Angeles, as it stands though, President Dévnostraéva has worked with great effort to dispell any rumors that the GSSC would be acting in a sense as nothing more than government hired mercenaries employed to do the biddings of the President or the Quadrumvirate for that matter. Within weeks from now Parliament will be voting on a groundbreaking law that would in effect integrate GSSC seamlessly into the Californian Commonwealth's armed forces, only time and the resultant votes from Parliament will give any indication to the route this nation and it's foreign policy will take.
