Terrain
Mostly lush fields, but to the east of the capital, it is very mountainous until the residential cities. 3000 kilometers to the east of the residential cities, a desert starts and goes on for 100 kilometers before ending at the rainforests, then leading to huge farming plains.

History of Niraamaya

Niraamaya was born of civil war.

2nd January 1966- Rebellion brews in the west of the nation of Rentusera in the province of Niraamaya due to a huge tax on having more than 3 children.

3rd February 1966- Organized rebellion declares Niraamaya independent. Rentusera starts sending in troops to deal with the rebellion.

21st December 1966- Niraamaya is now completely liberated. Rentusera starts sending in entire military to deal with problem. The rebellion is now called the Niraamaya Liberation Army.

27th March 1967- Massive turning point in history with the winning of the Battle of Apunaraavrittim. The NLA now controls one-third of Rentusera.

30th October 1968- Rentusera brings out the flamethrowers; the result is the Battle of Agni.

3rd Febuary 1970- By this time, the entirety of Rentusera is controlled. The leader of the rebellion, Tattve Neti, names the country Niraamaya. He rules the country until 1988.

3rd January 1988- Tattve Nevi implements the new constitution- one that would make it illegal for him to run for President. Tattve appoints his youngest son, Lalita Rupam, as interim leader until the first election. Lalita is only 4 years old when he comes into power.

10th March 1988- First election. There is no age limit defined in the Constitution, so 11-year old Amitabho Chattopadhyay was voted into office with a 1-vote difference in his favor- the other two contestants were tied in votes. He quickly proves his competence despite his young age. He has been elected by a landslide ever since.

The military is small but elite.

The branches are the Navy, the Army, the Air Force, and the Bodyguards.

All except the Bodyguards have an elite unit called the S.O.N. (Special Operations Niraamaya) unit.
