(The following is a semi-factbook for my main nation and the little ones i'll be conquering and RPing for.)
Island geography.
Climate: Mild summers with little precipatation. Cool Springs and falls both featuring heavy rain, sleet in the fall is common. Cold winters featuring heavy snow in the north and west. Cool winters in the south and west with mild precipatation mostly in the form of rain or sleet.
Terrain: Hilly in the North with several mountain chains running through Nilpnt, Cer Vech and Anderval. Flatlands and deserts in the south west. Several large swamps and bogs in the center and north west of the island surrounded by flatlands and forests.
- The Workers Republic of Nilpnt-
1. Brief history of Nilpnt.
Nilpnt was the first city state to be established on the island. The, then small, Killentak was a center of trade for all the native peoples and it profited imensily. It expanded as it needed, taking land and resources freely. However this was short lived as native people, growing jealous, began to raid the city. After raiders burnt nearly 60% of the city in a single strike the inhabitants organized themselves. They constructed the first walls, began a military, and even organized a goverment and economy begining a new age for the island inhabitants, which soon organized themselves as well.
In 473 a Chinese caravan carrying spices, silk, perfumes, metals, precious stones, various animals and gunpowder was blown off course and landed near Killentak. The Chinese traded their goods and taught them many things among them navagation and how to make gunpowder.
In 1061 a Islamic missionary on his way to Mecca came across the island, though he landed near Moulin (Present day Zulistan) his teaching spread like wildfire. Only 4 years after his arrival Killentak, like many others, was on the verge of civil war. These tensions erupted when a sacred pagan temple was burnt within Killentak, causing a civil war in not only Killentak but also in the Zuli, Vechian, Ilin, and Averailian poeple. This island wide war lasted nearly 40 years, after which the two religions both controlled roughly half the island. These lines and tensions remain to this day.
In the early 16th century Spanish explorers found the island, they stayed for roughly a year documenting the people and the land before they left. Years later several European nations sent voyages there, where they were marveled at the way the inhabitants developed. Eventually England, Spain and France sent their armies to conquer the island. Their weapons, primarily their version of the gun, was inadequate when compared to the weapon Killentak issued their soldiers (And later to the other natives). In 1822 the military led a coup renaming their land Nilpnt, they took control of everything and killed those who protested (Nearly 2 million). Their dictatorial system diminished the economy and put the whole of Nilpnt into poverty. 1927 saw the rise of a communist insurgency, promising to better the lives and economy of Nilpnt it quickly grew in size. After only a year the communist took full control, executing proponents of the old system. At first the economy grew quickly as the goverment began to industrialize the nation but this progress stopped in the early 60's. From then on it was downhill, with 55% in poverty in 1988. These conditions paved the way for Timothy Jacks, a foriegner, to organize his revolution. His firery rhetoric gave the people hope enough to combat the goverment and within 5 years they had full control of the nation. Since he has been in power Nilpnt has modernized, eliminating the sub-par conditions that once existed and giving the people something the live and die for.
- The Peoples Republic of Cer Vech -
1. Brief history of Cer Vech.
Cer Vech was the second city state to develop on the island and mirrored Killentak. It developed and grew peacefully until the religious wars of 1061 after which it became prominantly Islamic.
In 1423 a ship traveling from Italy crashed on the Vechian shores. The native people took what they could from the wreckage including several crops, animals and weapons including the hand cannon. Realizing the potential profits available several Vechians organized themselves as pirates, in 3 years Cer Vech became a pirates paradise as law dissolved.
By 1503 Cer Vech had a pirate fleet of nearly 300 ships and often raided other nations on the island. This pirate fleet was decisive in defeating the invading European armies and Cer Vech remained a lawless pirate haven until the early 1800's when an English-Spanish joint fleet finally defeated the diminished pirate fleet and the people took power unto themselves.
In 1948 a civil war engulfed Cer Vech between communists and nationalists, it raged for nearly 12 years before the communists finally took power outsing the democracy, but not fully. Like with Nilpnt their economy grew rapidly as they industrialized but it eventually slowed. Currently the Vechian economy is in a boom again as it trains a more skilled workforce.
During the summer of 1971 Cer Vech and Anderval had a major border war, iniated by the capitalist nation. Cer Vech at first suffered several large defeats in both land and air but these defeats were shadowed by the even larger victories they won soon. In a single move the Vechian military reclaimed nearly 85% of their lost land and advanced deep into Anderval territory, securing the bay of Hundin before forcing them to sigh a treaty for surrender.

The Vechian economy is heavily regulated. Based primarily around heavy industry and agriculture which employ nearly 70% of the population. Cer Vech manufactures very little consumer goods, energy, and resources but recieves these as imports from Nilpnt, who sells them cheaply.
Currently there is no minimum wage which has lead to loss of worker morale, causing production to slow severly in some cases. Recently though the goverment has been instituting workplace democracy in larger corporations in hopes of boosting production.
Though it is speculated there are large amounts of oil and gas within Cer Vech the underskilled workforce inhibits the goverment from mining and utilizing these, forcing them to import roughly 70% of all their energy needs.
3. Military overview and organization.
The Military of Cer Vech recieves decent funding, allowing them to buy good equipment, and excellent training, allowing them to use the equipment well.
The Vechian Army operates primarily around the Motorized Assult Division and utilizes air and missle assets, while the Vechian navy operates around the missle boat and aircraft carrier.
Currently there are 2 armies, both employing 38 Motorized Assult Divisions, 18 Armored Orders, and 4 Missle & air Divisions. The air force currently operate 1200 fighter aircraft with another 400 in reserve and 300 in storage, 800 Attack aircraft with 85 in reserve and 150 in storage, 120 strategic bombers with none in reserve or storage, 65 heavy bombers with none in reserve or storage and many other aircraft. The navy operates 2 carrier battle groups and a substantial reserve fleet.

The Democratic Liberation Movement, an anti-communist militia, operates within the Lerents mountains. It is speculated that there are nearly 50,000 armed members.
- The Incorporated States of Ikir -
Ikir was the fourth state to develope on the island. In 422 an alliance of 4 tribes, which formed the earliest Ikir, went on a conquest of the surrounding tribes. Ikir formed the first empire and became the largest nation on the island within several years.
Up to 873 there were many instances of attempted rebellions, each one put down by goverment force. This constant rebeling was harming the economy, forcing the Ikirian Empire to spend large amounts of money funding its military and in 881 the Ikirian empire fell, losing nearly 60% of its former teritory.
The Religious wars of 1061 reshaped the broken Ikir. It led several secussful campaigns against the Zuli and Vechian Muslims and managed to expand both its land and influence.

The Ikirian economy is capitalist in nature and the people have the freedom to start any economic venture they desire. Though they are prohibited from competing with goverment owned buisness. heavy industry, services and mining are the bulk of the economy with Magnus owning all heavy industry.
Currently there is no income tax at all and the goverment budget comes completley from their owned buisness. This has made Ikir a tax haven for the wealthy and has given the residents a high standard of living. However since the goverment has no subsidides for private buisness investor confidence is rather low.
Ikir is one of the three nation utilizing nuclear power to meet many of its energy needs. It also extracts many of its own resources and exports large amounts of these resources.
3. Military overview and organization.
The Ikirian military is small but well equiped and well trained. It is arguably one of the most effective forces on the island.
The Infantry division is the basis of the Ikirian military and is supported by both armor and air assets while their navy operates around the nuclear submarine.
Currently there are 3 armies employing 15 infantry divisions, 3 mechanized infantry divisions, and 8 armored divisions. The airforce operates 450 fighters with 200 in reserve and 170 in storage, 280 attack aircraft with 120 in reserve and 50 in storage, 30 strategic bombers with none in reserve or storage, 15 heavy bombers with none in reserve or storage and many other forms of aircraft. The navy is the largest branch with 4 submarine groups and 1 carrier battle group.
- The Republic of Zulistan -
1. Brief history of Zulistan.
When the other tribes on the island were organizing themselves Zulistan lagged behind, for hundreds of years it was refered to as the wild lands. Warriors would come here from across the island for both wealth and to test their skills against the marauders which roamed freely.
In 1061 the missionary landed in Zulistan and was immedietly kidnapped by a group of mauraders. Though he was their hostage their leader grew very fond of him. The missionary used this to spread the word of his religion and in a few years had organized them from simple raiders into an army of thousands. The religious wars saw the rising of Zulistan and this missionary shapped it to his will, he died 10 years after the wars ended with no legacy.
For 20 years Zulistan held together in the name of their religion, however because of growing political unrest (No sucessor) a 3-sided civil war soon started. Islamists, who favored the origional ideas Zulistan began on, Empericals, who favored begining an islamic empire, and radicals, who thought Zulistan should return to the way it was before islam. After 7 years the Empericals were victorouries.
In 1835 the Empire invaded and annexed their neighbor of Preteka. The people of Preteka would not give up so easily and almost instantly began to fight back. Currently the Preteka Liberation Movement, a terrorist organization, has forced Zulistani troops to remain in their bases, allowing their some 250,000 members the ability to operate freely within their nation.
In 1947 the senate overthrew the goverment and Zulistan became an islamic republic.

The Zulistani economy is a transition economy. With the privatization of once goverment owned corporations playing a significant part in its operation. It has seen steady growth of 3% to 5% each year for the past 12 years. Mining, agriculture and heavy industry are the bulk of the economy, with emerging sectors in science based industry and chemicals.
As the ecomony becomes more privatized it also is becoming less stable and inflation has been raising upward with little being done to stop it. With the Paegen becoming less valuable the goverment has been raising taxes to maintain the necessary GDP so that it may to continue to support areas such as education and healthcare, this is slowly lowering the standard of living within Zulistan. Unemployment was once a major problem but as privatization continues more and more jobs are being created.
Zulistan is the largest manufacturar of petroluem on the island and recieves nearly 40% of its GDP from this alone. It is also one of the two nations whose cities are powered primarily by fossil fuels.
3. Military overview and organization.
The Zuli military is huge, with nearly 6% of its population in the active forces and another 8% in the reserve. Because of the large numbers the military doesn't operate state-of-the-art equipment or recieve top-of-the-line training. They use mostly out-dated american and soviet equipment.
The Zuli military operates around the Armored division and is usually supported by infantry and naval assets while their navy operates around the cruiser.
Currently there are 3 armies employing 10 armored divisions, 11 infantry divisions, 5 mechanized infantry divisions, and 1 missle brigade. The Airforce operates 300 fighters with 200 in reserve and 100 in storage, 210 attack aircraft with 80 in reserve and 40 in storage, 5 strategic bombers with none in reserve or storage and no heavy bombers. The navy currently operates a single aircraft carrier and one cruiser battle group.
4. Points of interest.
The former nation of Preteka is a haven for terrorists and rebels. The largest group operating is the Preteka Liberation Movement, with nearly 250,000 members. It is estimated that there are nearly 2 Million armed militants operating within Preteka.

1. Brief History of Anderval.
Anderval was the last nation to develop on the island and it owes its development to Nilpnt, who moved in and secured large parts of land for the Averailian people when the Vechian and Pretekan people were claiming much of the land they (Averailians) used for themselves.
The Nilpntze's stayed until the religious wars began. Even though Anderval was primarily muslim it never led an attack on Nilpnt and even remained friendly throughout the entity of the war, continuing trade and diplomatic relations between one another.
In 1562 Cer vech invaded Anderval trying to secure more coastline, instead it ended up losing a large amount of territory and was forced to surrender as the Averailians threatened to burn their capital to the ground. Since then they have had many border wars.
In 1820 the Averailian goverment became a democratic republic, influenced heavily by the American revolution. However there was still support for the old goverment and a civil war erupted. This war lasted a decade without either side making any advances, eventually they agreed to peace. Both sides are represented in the Averailian Congress and both are strongly anti-other, making it had for anderval to make real progress.
In 1939 an Italian-German fleet was positioned off the coast of Anderval and 2 weeks later they invaded. They advanced quickly at first, nearly reaching the capital. Cer Vech invaded soon afterwards but under threat of war from the Nilpntze's pulled out. Nilpnt then began a massive campain to arm the Averailians and with their help the German-Italian army was destroyed. Anderval was the only nation on the island who became involved in the war, sending soldiers and equipment to help the Allies.
In 1971 the Averailians invaded Cer Vech but were quickly beat back, after losing the Bay of Hundin where their largest port was located they surrendered humiliated. Since then they have built a larger port facility near the southern buldge.
2. Economic overview.
Anderval is a fully capitalist nation with no goverment interference or regulations. It's economy is primarily made up of services and medium industry with emerging Agriculture and mining sectors.
The gap between rich and poor is the largest on the island and the middle class is almost non existant. Because of no goverment interference CEO's often underpay their workers with little done about it, this has led to an increasing unemployment rate as workers often quit, a slowing production and an increasing poverty and poor rate.
Anderval imports about just as much as it exports and the majority of its imports consists of military equipment and resources.
Anderval uses solar and wind enegry to power its cities with nuclear power in the largest ones. However a majority of automobiles are powered by fossil fuels imported from Zuluistan.

The Averailian military operates around the Mechanized infantry division utilizing a mixture between heavy air support and strong combined arms. The military operates around no specific ship, instead opting between a mixture of missles, guns, and aircraft.
Currently there are 4 armies with 10 Mechanized infantry divisions, 7 infantry divisions, 5 armored divisions, and 2 artillery divisions. The airforce operates 750 fighters ith 250 in reserve and 130 in storage, 670 attack aircraft with 200 in reserve and none in storage, 35 strategic bombers with none in reserve or storage, 17 heavy bombers with none in reserve or storage and many other aircraft. the navy operates 1 carrier battle group, 2 battleship groups and a large amount of missle ships and destroeyrs.
- The Dominion of Vilin -
1. Brief History of Vilin.
Vilin was the third nation to develop on the island, though was in constant civil war until the early 9th centurary when it was unified by a conquest led by Orvich leent. He and his secessors held an iron grip over the people for 1000 years.
During the year of 1879 the last Lord died without naming a secessor and the following power struggles destroyed the goverment. Over the next 50 years a series of civil wars entirely destroyed Vilins infastructure and social order. When communists seized control they immedietly, with help from a larger, more powerful communist state, installed order in the larger cities and the violence stopped almost overnight.
After a series of reconstruction efforts the goverment managed to rebuild the nation and the economy, though it kept its grip tight. In 1982 a peaceful demonstration was fired upon by goverment forces, including tanks and helicopters, in an event that would be called the Flower Massacre (Because the demonstators were carrying flowers). This led to a series of large scale riots across Vilin targetted at the goverment. In order to remain in power the goverment used chemical weapons in several large cities, killing millions. In the aftermath the goverment constructed a series of camps, here is were it would send all dissidents. To this day nearly 500,000 people have died in these camps.

The Vilinese economy is heavily regulated. Based primarily around heavy industry and producing cheap consumer good. Vilin lacks in other sectors and has a hard time producing enough food to sustain its population, reulting in the deaths of thousands due to starvation yearly.

Vilins cities and cars are powered by fossil fuel, forcing the goverment to spend millions on its importation.

In 1061 the missionary landed in Zulistan and was immedietly kidnapped by a group of mauraders. Though he was their hostage their leader grew very fond of him. The missionary used this to spread the word of his religion and in a few years had organized them from simple raiders into an army of thousands. The religious wars saw the rising of Zulistan and this missionary shapped it to his will, he died 10 years after the wars ended with no legacy.
For 20 years Zulistan held together in the name of their religion, however because of growing political unrest (No sucessor) a 3-sided civil war soon started. Islamists, who favored the origional ideas Zulistan began on, Empericals, who favored begining an islamic empire, and radicals, who thought Zulistan should return to the way it was before islam. After 7 years the Empericals were victorouries.
In 1835 the Empire invaded and annexed their neighbor of Preteka. The people of Preteka would not give up so easily and almost instantly began to fight back. Currently the Preteka Liberation Movement, a terrorist organization, has forced Zulistani troops to remain in their bases, allowing their some 250,000 members the ability to operate freely within their nation.
In 1947 the senate overthrew the goverment and Zulistan became an islamic republic.
2. Economy overview.
The Zulistani economy is a transition economy. With the privatization of once goverment owned corporations playing a significant part in its operation. It has seen steady growth of 3% to 5% each year for the past 12 years. Mining, agriculture and heavy industry are the bulk of the economy, with emerging sectors in science based industry and chemicals.
As the ecomony becomes more privatized it also is becoming less stable and inflation has been raising upward with little being done to stop it. With the Paegen becoming less valuable the goverment has been raising taxes to maintain the necessary GDP so that it may to continue to support areas such as education and healthcare, this is slowly lowering the standard of living within Zulistan. Unemployment was once a major problem but as privatization continues more and more jobs are being created.
Zulistan is the largest manufacturar of petroluem on the island and recieves nearly 40% of its GDP from this alone. It is also one of the two nations whose cities are powered primarily by fossil fuels.
3. Military overview and organization.
The Zuli military is huge, with nearly 6% of its population in the active forces and another 8% in the reserve. Because of the large numbers the military doesn't operate state-of-the-art equipment or recieve top-of-the-line training. They use mostly out-dated american and soviet equipment.
The Zuli military operates around the Armored division and is usually supported by infantry and naval assets while their navy operates around the cruiser.
Currently there are 3 armies employing 10 armored divisions, 11 infantry divisions, 5 mechanized infantry divisions, and 1 missle brigade. The Airforce operates 300 fighters with 200 in reserve and 100 in storage, 210 attack aircraft with 80 in reserve and 40 in storage, 5 strategic bombers with none in reserve or storage and no heavy bombers. The navy currently operates a single aircraft carrier and one cruiser battle group.
4. Points of interest.
The former nation of Preteka is a haven for terrorists and rebels. The largest group operating is the Preteka Liberation Movement, with nearly 250,000 members. It is estimated that there are nearly 2 Million armed militants operating within Preteka.
- The Democratic States of Anderval -
1. Brief History of Anderval.
Anderval was the last nation to develop on the island and it owes its development to Nilpnt, who moved in and secured large parts of land for the Averailian people when the Vechian and Pretekan people were claiming much of the land they (Averailians) used for themselves.
The Nilpntze's stayed until the religious wars began. Even though Anderval was primarily muslim it never led an attack on Nilpnt and even remained friendly throughout the entity of the war, continuing trade and diplomatic relations between one another.
In 1562 Cer vech invaded Anderval trying to secure more coastline, instead it ended up losing a large amount of territory and was forced to surrender as the Averailians threatened to burn their capital to the ground. Since then they have had many border wars.
In 1820 the Averailian goverment became a democratic republic, influenced heavily by the American revolution. However there was still support for the old goverment and a civil war erupted. This war lasted a decade without either side making any advances, eventually they agreed to peace. Both sides are represented in the Averailian Congress and both are strongly anti-other, making it had for anderval to make real progress.
In 1939 an Italian-German fleet was positioned off the coast of Anderval and 2 weeks later they invaded. They advanced quickly at first, nearly reaching the capital. Cer Vech invaded soon afterwards but under threat of war from the Nilpntze's pulled out. Nilpnt then began a massive campain to arm the Averailians and with their help the German-Italian army was destroyed. Anderval was the only nation on the island who became involved in the war, sending soldiers and equipment to help the Allies.
In 1971 the Averailians invaded Cer Vech but were quickly beat back, after losing the Bay of Hundin where their largest port was located they surrendered humiliated. Since then they have built a larger port facility near the southern buldge.
2. Economic overview.
Anderval is a fully capitalist nation with no goverment interference or regulations. It's economy is primarily made up of services and medium industry with emerging Agriculture and mining sectors.
The gap between rich and poor is the largest on the island and the middle class is almost non existant. Because of no goverment interference CEO's often underpay their workers with little done about it, this has led to an increasing unemployment rate as workers often quit, a slowing production and an increasing poverty and poor rate.
Anderval imports about just as much as it exports and the majority of its imports consists of military equipment and resources.
Anderval uses solar and wind enegry to power its cities with nuclear power in the largest ones. However a majority of automobiles are powered by fossil fuels imported from Zuluistan.
3. Military overview and organization.
Anderval operates a medium sized well-equiped, well-trained military.
The Averailian military operates around the Mechanized infantry division utilizing a mixture between heavy air support and strong combined arms. The military operates around no specific ship, instead opting between a mixture of missles, guns, and aircraft.
Currently there are 4 armies with 10 Mechanized infantry divisions, 7 infantry divisions, 5 armored divisions, and 2 artillery divisions. The airforce operates 750 fighters ith 250 in reserve and 130 in storage, 670 attack aircraft with 200 in reserve and none in storage, 35 strategic bombers with none in reserve or storage, 17 heavy bombers with none in reserve or storage and many other aircraft. the navy operates 1 carrier battle group, 2 battleship groups and a large amount of missle ships and destroeyrs.
- The Dominion of Vilin -
1. Brief History of Vilin.
Vilin was the third nation to develop on the island, though was in constant civil war until the early 9th centurary when it was unified by a conquest led by Orvich leent. He and his secessors held an iron grip over the people for 1000 years.
During the year of 1879 the last Lord died without naming a secessor and the following power struggles destroyed the goverment. Over the next 50 years a series of civil wars entirely destroyed Vilins infastructure and social order. When communists seized control they immedietly, with help from a larger, more powerful communist state, installed order in the larger cities and the violence stopped almost overnight.
After a series of reconstruction efforts the goverment managed to rebuild the nation and the economy, though it kept its grip tight. In 1982 a peaceful demonstration was fired upon by goverment forces, including tanks and helicopters, in an event that would be called the Flower Massacre (Because the demonstators were carrying flowers). This led to a series of large scale riots across Vilin targetted at the goverment. In order to remain in power the goverment used chemical weapons in several large cities, killing millions. In the aftermath the goverment constructed a series of camps, here is were it would send all dissidents. To this day nearly 500,000 people have died in these camps.
2. Economy overview.
The Vilinese economy is heavily regulated. Based primarily around heavy industry and producing cheap consumer good. Vilin lacks in other sectors and has a hard time producing enough food to sustain its population, reulting in the deaths of thousands due to starvation yearly.
The Vilinese economy suffers the highest unemployment on the island and has the lowest standard of living as well. It recieves its profits through its buisness ventures and the income tax.
Vilins cities and cars are powered by fossil fuel, forcing the goverment to spend millions on its importation.
3. Military overview and organization.
Vilins military is a mockery of Nilpnts, though much less funded and ill-equiped.
Currently there are 2 Army fronts, 2 Air forces, 3 fleets with 1 Marine army.
The Vilin army uses combined arms and overwelming force in securing its objectives.
