In layman's terms, ViZion and I are holding a joint 3-week cruise (his cruise line, Tropical Cruise Lines) departing from my port city of Oceana (patterened after Miami/Sydney) on essentially a Caribbean-style cruise for your NS citizens. Want to get away from wars? Live the good life of the rich - with maybe a few twists awaiting.

To join up, simply fill out a following application and one of us will accept you. Feel free to add additional info if you really want to flesh out your character. You can have multiple characters (ie, families), just don't go too overboard. This'll be pretty free-form (there'll be underlying story plots, but you'll have a lot of control of how things go), so feel free to have some fun with it. We're here to have fun after all.

A Vornskrari appears to be like a human crossed with a vornskr, producing a thoroughly bestial humanoid. The body is totally covered in black fur, a long human-like mane falls in tresses from the back of the head. The ears are mounted on top of the canine shaped skull, which obviously has a mouth full of sharp canine teeth. The eyes are a reflective red that seems to glow in most lights.

The limbs are a strange combination of humanoid and canine physiology. It has humanoid arms tipped by digipaws (paws with finger-like digits) and legs that are almost entirely canine (making boot improbable and useless, its clothing is also tailored to fit physiology). The most noticeable part of its anatomy is its whipish tail that is topped by a tear-drop structure called a bob. The bob conceals an extendable stinger.

Short Bio: Solus was created by the Togovians, the previous rulers of Catawaba, in a genetic warfare project aimed at using local Taung myths about vornskr, a native jungle canine, and human shapeshifters to pyschological effect as the vornskrari proceeded to eliminate leaders of local resistance movements. During the course of the Catawaban Revolution, the vornskrari were discovered by and aided by the future leader of Catawaba, the Alpha Miraade. After the successful Revolution, the vornskrari and the Miraade adopted each other as siblings and form the Mira'ad allit, a family clan. The vornskrari joined the Miraaderic Guard, an elite branch of the Catawaban military that is both the Miraade's personal protection and the nation's Special Operations branch.

While protecting the Alpha Miraade, Solus discovered a woman taking pictures of the Miraade. The Miraaderic Guard decided to investigate, and Solus volunteered to tail the woman. This was how he first laid eyes on his future wife, Charli Firewalker, following her around the night time cityscape of the Catawaban capital. It wouldn't be until much later that two of Solus's siblings, who had participated in a rescue mission with the Tanaaran, would invite Charli back to Catawaba. It was then that the two fell inseparably in love.

Catawaba, a lot of NS nations use "alternatives" to normal humans in their nations - therefore I'm compelled to accept yours as well. One condition to that though - make sure your character doesn't exceed the normal parameters of a normal human. Example, no superpowers or superstrength, etc., going on - it's meant here to be fairly realistic. If you got non-humans that's ok, just make sure they're the equivalent in terms of overall abilities to humans.

The vornskrari are a species I've used elsewhere in FT settings. I used genetic warfare as an excuse to bring them into more wishy-washy MT or PMT settings. Rest assured that Solus has the comparative strength, speed, and reflexes of an exquistely conditioned human being. The stinger had a sedative for venom, and honestly, I've never used it in play. It's more of a decoration to show "look how strange and exotic my creature is."

As for his military career, he is a special forces platoon sergeant, but think more Green Berets or Army Rangers rather than Delta Force. He's skilled, but I don't go for the type of "so badass he sneaks up takes out your tonsils with a spork just to prove he can."

Not bad for a 26 year old, but approved...frankly, your character, your style. Former occupation won't necessarily have too much impact (some but not everything) based on where ViZion and I plan on start going.

I think I'll be able to start up the thread tomorrow sometime in the afternoon (EST) for pre-cruise arrivals, meeting, etc., which'll leave the window open to any last people who want to get on this before the ship...and the fun...get underway. I'll be putting my characters up as well.

Bio: Apparently just a wealthy holiday maker, Rebecca is the widow of a Haardmandle oil entrepreneur murdered during the Tzarist era prior to the Second Dyellian civil war (during which attempts were made to 'cleanse' Haardmandle from the country). Rebecca came into unexpected wealth earlier this year after being granted a hefty compensation payment for the murder of her husband and siezure of her property 6 years ago.

Since it appears that there are enough crew members and passengers, I was wondering--how would you feel about incorporating Leistung into the agenda as one of the "events." I'm really just throwing it out there, but a Leistungi Coast Guard ship stopping the cruise ship because of an anonymous drug/terrorism threat might be interesting. Obviously you two would have the final say on what exactly my part would be (or if I would even have a part).

Yeah young people in my country achieve a lot. These characters were recruited by the PMC while in high school.
