Okay, so this is what I've got in mind.
For some time now, I've kept the Clans out of anything major involving my nation. Few major conflicts have seen the Clans involved, and most other minor conflicts have been off the radar for them (i.e. their involvement with Zeon Principality). Now it's time for them to make a name for themselves.
The Clans exist in an anomalous spot in space just off the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy (the nearest star to their own star cluster is about three hundred light years). This "Anomalous Spot" is an odd, semi-spherical star cluster surrounded by a nebula cloud that, due to its unusual thickness (a wall roughly forty light years thick), obscures the equally unusual hollow area within its confines. Within this nebula cloud exists over four dozen stars that the Clans have taken residence amongst, and for many, many years the Clans have lived in isolated dormancy.
However, over their time of dormancy, the Clans have warred amongst themselves, as war is much apart of their lives as anything else. However, these conflicts have taken their toll upon the Clans' economy. In their first attempt at expansion, they used an experimental wormhole device to attempt to traverse across the galaxy quickly and raid other worlds of their resources. This attempt backfired, resulting in a small, several-hour-long conflict with the Core Worlds. This conflict, however, was resolved in part due the timely intervention of the Woodians, who had knowledge on the ways of the Clans. By declaring a batchall (an honor challenge), the Woodians effectively saved the Core Worlds from a costly war that, at the time, they could not afford to wage.
In the end, a slightly-one-sided treaty and an alliance was formed between the Clans, the Core Worlds, the Woodians, and New Dornalia (who had mediated the treaty) at Earth SSR, New Dornalia. While the Clans began receiving resources from their new found allies, the influx of resources from their allies simply could not cope with the demands within Clan-held territory. No more than a few months time after, the Clans stumbled upon another Earth held by a nation known as the Principality of Zeon. After a brief conflict, an impromptu treaty was formed with the Principality of Zeon due to demands upon the Warrior Caste by the Maho Caste. At this point, mutual trade began to flow amongst these two nations. Still, the economic demands due to the lack of a steady source of resources still prevailed.
Now, several years and treaties later, the Clans have organized an expeditionary force to take control of several nearby star systems in the hopes of finding new, untapped resources, regardless of the cost.

Alright, that's the gist of what is going to occur. Now, I'm going to lay down some rules on this.
1. Until I give the okay, no one is to post any intervention in the first phase of the Expansion Campaign that the Clans will be conducting.
2. You are not allowed to bring the full might of your military into this RP (unless you are one of the nations that falls under the WW2MT-Early FT section). I'm pretty sure a good portion of your military is off defending the home front or fighting other wars. The limit for your force composition should be equivalent to that of one of my Galaxies (I will explain my unit composition in further detail later in this post.
3. Super weapons are NOT allowed AT ALL. Anything that I find that can be equated to the Death Star will be immediately banned from the RP. Axial Super Lasers and other equivalent weapons are exempt.
4. This RP is not meant to be one in which you can crush me thoroughly and make me your puppet. I can guarantee that the war front will be way out of the way for most people joining. Likewise, Clanners aren't ones to be taken as other peoples' bitches unless it's a matter of honor. Furthermore, I have plans for the ending of the RP, however that goes, but I want the end of this RP to be, at the very least, a minor defeat on my part, a minor victory at best.
5. No god-modding. That's a given. You get one warning on this unless you come talk to me about making it plot-based.
6. Sub-plots are fine, so long as they don't hijack the RP. Remember, this is a War RP, not a romance novel.
7. Under no circumstances are the nations that are caught in the invasion allowed to advance in tech unless they are doing it by themselves. Outside assistance with tech advancement will be frowned upon and retconned.
8. Have fun. I don't like it when people squabble over trivialities. If flame wars break out, I'm shutting the thread down.
So, those are the basic rules. Follow them, please. I don't want to have to break out the lacrosse paddle and start beating heads in.

I am going to need a really good multi-tasker who wishes to RP several nameless worlds at the beginning of the RP. These worlds range in tech, from WW2MT to Early FT. These worlds are not, by any means, supposed to have any serious bearing on the RP other than that they are the contested territory.
Furthermore, if you are an MT or PMT nation (or group of nations) that wishes to use an alternate universe version of your nation(s) as one of these worlds that is being contested, please specify that interest.
