(OOC: Anybody is allowed to join this thread)
Deep in the mountains of Whiskeasy at Haroway Hall ,a large diplomatic center, was getting ready for a huge conference dignitaries from around the world would be arriving by helicopter, car and plane to get to this meeting. This would be a conference on the state of the world's human rights and as PM Jack Daniels hoped the birth of a coalition to help stop it everywhere. Jack Daniels had made sure the security was tight and that the drinks and nibbles were plentiful. He then waited for the arriving dignitaries.

Even thought it was said that Lynx Forces were stretched, a report later occured that they weren't stretched but rather well spread out. However, Sherman couldn't risk anything happening to the forces and decided to send a litely escort party of one man with the diplomat, who happened to be a Lynion Assassin, to the conference. The plane was already coming over the air space of the country of the conference as the pilot got onto the radio.

"This is Lynx Flight 5-67 calling Whiskeasy Control Tower," started the pilots voice over the intercom. "Requesting permission to land,"

Air Force One entered Whiskeasy airspace some time after take off. The two F-22's stayed on it's wing the entire time, defending it against possible threats. The pilots got on the radio

"Whiskeasy Control Tower, This Is Air Force One, Ustian Air Force" stated the pilot "Requesting Permission To Land"

Air Traffic Contoller Higgs looked at his manifest and said into his mike " Whiskeasy Control Tower calling Lynx Flight 5-67, land on bearing 007766 for Harroway Hall private airfield, they are expecting you. Air Force One, Ustian Air Force come down on the same bearing in two minutes" He turned away, it was going to be a busy night.

OOC: Just to speed this up from now on if people can just turn up it would be easier.

"Copy that Whiskeasy Control Tower, heading to Harroway Hall," replied the pilot.

The plane quickly landed as the two Assassin's stepped out onto the runway. They looked around as the plane taxi into a nearby hanger while the Assassin's started to the main airport section to figure out where they were going.

"Whose protecting who?" asked Lieutenant Donald to Captain Jaguar.

"We'll go by rank," replied Jaguar. "Besides, frontlines troops are better than diploamts,"

Air Force One came down a few minutes after the Lynion jet. McCartney and a couple of Special Branch Operatives headed down to a car that had been hired by an SB Operative some time ago. They got in, and began to drve towards Haroway Hall.

IC: 12 Hours Before

The plane sat on the tarmac as the passengers boarded- Lord Henry Parallax, Susan Heraka, Brendon Uscita, Commander Kurt Haxton, and their assorted aides. The door was about to slam shut when Gael Liegelor entered the plane with luggage. "Susan, off the plane. Now."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs flushed dark red to the tip of her ears. "Why?"

"Just do it."

Glaring angrily, she grabbed her luggage and walked off the plane, muttering as she walked past him, "Bastard." They had never gotten along too well.

"What was that about?" asked Henry as Gael stowed his luggage.

"Official investigation."

He raised his eyebrows.

Flight Genevia 1

After a long flight, the plane was finally ready to land. "Control Tower, Harroway Hall Airfield, this is Flight Genevia 1, requesting permission to land."

The passengers who had been admiring the beautiful view buckled in as the plane descended...

President Matieu Bossong finished typing the e-mail to Prime Minister Aimee Boissieu. In the reflection of the laptop screen, he caught a glimpse of himself. His handsome, serious face was clearly ready for this meeting, with his near black hair touching his eyebrows. His dark green eyes looked like they were fueled by the mysteries of the universe.

"How long until landing?" he asked to the DISS guard, in his deep voice.

"Now." replied the guard.

"Whiskeay Control Tower, this is Dawn Six, requestin g permission to land. Over." asked the pilot.

Air Traffic Contoller Higgs looked at his manifest yet again and said into his mike " Whiskeasy Control Tower calling Flight Genevia 1 come down on bearing 007766 for Harroway Hall private airfield, they are expecting you. Dawn Six you are welcome to land on the same bearing in a few minutes" He was getting tired and the night and only just begun.

On the tarmac

Captain Smith with the SIS moved to intercept two Lyonian military officers. Smith smiled at them and snapped a salute "Welcome to Whiskeasy Mr....." He looked at there name tags "Sorry Captain Jaguar and Lieutenant Donald. If you will come this way I will get you a car to take you to the conference. The Prime Minister is very eager to meet the Lyonian representatives. He is a great fan of your countries efforts at stopping slavery." He started to move towards the waiting ranks of luxury cars to take the delegates to the Hall up the mountain. The Ustio North car had just gone through and no doubt would be pulling up at the large stately home where the meeting would take place.

"Fan?" questioned Donald to Jaguar as they climbed into the car.

"Fannatic. It means someone who admires your work," explained Jaguar before he turned to the officer. "Don't mind my friend, he's just a little slow on fannatic's things," as he climbed into the car. "I'm sure that'll raise moral amongest the troopers back home,"

"No, I do know the meaning, it's just...how can people be fans of nations?" snapped back Donald.

"Its just an experssion they use," replied Jaguar. "It's like: Speak of the Devil. we use experissions,"

The plane landed; the door flew open and the passengers disembarked, with Parallax and Liegelor first. Shaking hands with the delegate waiting for him, Parallax introduced himself and the others with warmth. "Nice area," he commented. "I like Whiskeasy from what I've seen. Excellent mountains... got any skiing facilities?"

Liegelor chuckled at what his Lord had said.
Rammsteinburg
19-10-2008, 14:09
Fleet Admiral Fredenmuenster was the first of the Rammsteinburgian delegation to enter. The President-General was accompanied by two armed guards. He wore his dinner dress uniform -- red jacket, black bow tie, and black pants. Five rows of ribbons decorated the breast distinguished admiral's jacket. Immediately after him came Prime Minister Eukrid Bach, wearing a black suite with a light yellow shirt and shiny gold silk tie. His wife, Mrs. Paula Bach, was at his side along with his two armed escorts. Hans Kohlberg was the last of the party to enter. Never being too fond of flashiness, he wore a modest navy blue suite with a black tie. He had his arms around his lovely wife, Waltraud, and was also accompanied by two guards.

Dawn Six pulled down onto the tarmac expertly, as the DIAF pilots usaully do. Bossong got out of his seat, followed by the DISS guard, staying behind him always.

As the plane door opened, Bossong was the first to work down the aluminum steps. He was wearing a dark blue designer suit, with a red tie. He was tall, 6 foot 4 inches.

Captain Smith just nodded along with the two officers before getting in the passenger seat and motioning the driver to go on soon they would be at the top of mountain where the conference would be held.

Ian Jacobs was only an attache from the foreign office and he was shaking hands with Paralax, he looked a little stunned after the last question before saying "Err, yes on the other mountain there is a large ski resort, I'm sure there will be time after the conference." He gestured them towards a large armored limousine to take them the 5 miles up the mountain. "You are one of the guests of honor the PM is very excited to meet you." He motioned again towards the rear of the limosine and offered to take the delegates bags and their entourage to get in.

The first people to enter the conference where the Rammsteinburg delegates they were met by the PM who said "Welcome to Whiskeasy and thank you for coming I believe your table is over there." The Great hall of Haroway had many small tables and a central dais which was where the speakers would talk.
Jack Daniels soon was welcoming Xavier and said "Welcome to Whiskeasy, It is a great honor for you to join us here once everyone has arrived we shall start but until then please have something to eat, drink and please talk to the other delegates if you wish." He smiled and an aide ushered them to a table.

Flight Commander Hertz walked forward as Bossong descended the steps he snapped a salute and said "Welcome please if you could get in this car it will take you up the mountain to where the conference is taking place."

OOC: That would be fun but let's be honest why would they try that??

As Bossong's car arrived at the top the door was opened by a bell boy who offered to take his bags to his quarters.

As Jaguar and Donald walked through the door the PM said "Ah hello you must be from Lyonion, I have been dying to meet you. Your countries work has really inspired me. If you will take a seat we will commence shortly I will make a speech followed by any questions or any others wishing to speak. Perhaps you? Well if nothing else happens have a good evening."

Ian Jacobs turned to him once they were in the limousine and saw that the two leaders were talking in hushed tones. Soon they were at the top of the mountain and ready to enter.

Jaguar had an eye patch over his left eye as he looked and listened to the prime minister for a moment.

"Thank you sir," replied Jaguar. "To be honest, its really the men and women on the frontlines that do this dangerous job for the abolishment of slavery. We'll only talk if its required," finished Jaguar.

'How can a small nation inspire others to help with its work?' thought Donald to himself as he watched Jaguar and the PM speak for a moment while they took their seats.

Jack Daniels took the podium in front of then assembled nations and gestured for silence. "Welcome" He said "It is a great honour to have you all here today, all of you are concerned about the problems in the world. One of the biggest and vilest being the breaches in Basic Human Rights. Three days ago my head of foreign intelligance came to me and told me that there were two separate countries selling of their populous for cash. I was shocked and disgusted to here of this. The Execution Ministry of the former state Roef is another example, we are only lucky the whole country collapsed before it got to the point where it started mass killing. These are current events they happened days ago. Are you not as shocked as I am? The problem is that there is no way of stopping or punishing those responsible. There is no effective organization to stop the killing, torture, slavery, madness. Do I need go on? I see many nations openly denouncing these countries. Yet they do nothing, how could they? They are often smaller and weaker, often less military powerful or are unwilling to get directly involved with troops on the ground. That is why I suggest a coalition of nations such as these. Such as ours, dedicated to to eradicating the cancers that destroy the world. To hunt down the guilty, protect the innocent and punish the deserving. I suggest we form that coalition right at this meeting, over the next dew days. Thank you very much if anyone has any questions or wishes to say something themselves please come on up."
He stood waiting for someone to step forward.

Lord Henry Parallax stood up and walked to the podium. "Friends," he began, "I start by thanking you for attending this conference convened by Whiskeasy after my speech on the horrors our world faces today.'

"The world is indeed a shocking place nowadays, and we here intend to fix that. No more will people have to face slavery or tyranny; no more will they be subject to the cruel whip that strikes their back and causes them to stumble. I fully endorse the suggestion of forming a coalition force against IStormistan and Ralkovia until they stop selling slaves for 'refilling their national coffers'- we must take action against this sort of despicable act. Thank you."

He walked back to his seat, sipping a glass of cool water.

"Dawn Islands has a small military and is our foreign and defence policy is strictly neutral, so we will not help in any military matters to this coaltion. However, we would like to support this coaltion. Selling citizens is wrong and should be brought before the World Assembly." started Bossong.

"This is a clear breach of international basic human rights law. This Execution Ministry of the former Roef state shocks me greatly. Any communications with any of the nations doing such awful breaches of human rights law will have communications cut with Dawn Islands immediately." spoke Bossong.

"This coalition you suggest sounds like a good alliance of nations to stop human rights breaches. However, using armed forces as the threat in this coalition would defeat the puropose of it, as we stand for life, not death. We should use diplomacy and aid as the backbone of this coalition." finished Bossong.

19-10-2008, 15:50
"Nay, my friend," said Liegelor, "As my Lord stated in his speech, sometimes there is reason for war. Your goal is admirable, and I share it, however, diplomacy will not always work. Diplomacy first and war second I saw; I am aghast at the horrors of slavers and nations which sell massive amounts of their population into slavery for low prices, and feel that anything, except perhaps weapons of mass destruction, is justified against them. Slavers are despicable- the scum of the Earth truly. Their trade is even worse. Military force is justified against them; diplomacy is often doomed to fail due to their hard skulls."

Jack Daniels stepped up again "Yes a lot of that is true, however the World Assembly is a joke it's members do nothing to stop breaches in human rights in fact some of them actively participate in it. Although people such as yourself see that the military aspect is hypocritical there is no other way of doing it. Nations who sell their citizens for extra cash will ignore diplomacy completely. We shall of course use aid and diplomacy at the forefront of all operations but there has to be a way of enforcing it. Otherwise we are just another voice in a sea of pain. We understand your unwillingness to use military force but as it has been proved hundreds of time in history. A lot of the time diplomacy results in deaths and time wasting. I am pleased to see that my good friend Lord Henry Parallax supports our idea."

OOC:Good afternoon actually...

Tilsitsin
19-10-2008, 16:53
Jim Phillips had only recently come to the foreign service. Like many thirty-something, successful single men, he found himself pulled into a political marriage leading to inevitable service with the frantically-expanding Tilsitsinian Foreign Office.

Once a large player in the international scene, Tilsitsin faded from international politics after several high profile failures at foreign intervention and a virtual collapse of the arms export market at home. Morale plummetted in the armed forces, and domestic problems grew till they reached a boiling point. But those issues had long since passed, and the newest Tilsitsinian president, Robert Grayson, was elected as an internationalist interested in re-asserting Tilsitsin's foreign influence. And so upon his election he announced a massive expansion plan for the Foreign Office, to include adding nearly 400 new diplomats and nearly 20 times that number in brand new support staff virtually overnight. The rich, affluent and politically powerful in Tilsitsin answered the call, with many young & affluent men volunteering for the service or otherwise marrying into positions where they could then enter what was quickly becoming one of the most prestigious places for young men of power to easily enter into Tilsitsinian politics.

It was into this latter category that Jim Phillips found himself. His wife of seven months Grace is the daughter of none other than Jonathan DiMonaco, a powerful member of the Tilsitsinian upper parliament and ranking member of the Foreign Affairs subcomittee. After a whirlwind courtship arranged by their families (Jim's father was a quite successful high-level commodities broker with political connections at several levels), Jim married Grace and was almosted immediately accepted into the Foreign Service Ambassador Corps, and was whisked away quickly to the Tilsitsinian Central Justice Office for training that would lead to an eventual ambassadorship in a prominent country.

When word came of the high level meeting in Whiskeasy, it was seen as an excellent point for Tilsitsin to re-enter the arena of foreign affairs. President Grayson immediately directed that the foreign office send someone, preferably one of the 'Young Turks' just getting their feet wet, preferably advised by one of the old-school diplomats from Tilsitsin's stormier times.

Several Hours Ago

'Mr Phillips? Sir?' A man came running towards Jim, trenchcoat flapping in the strong- gusty wind on the airport tarmac as a light drizzle wetted the coat further with every motion.

Jim turned to see the man running towards him as he walked towards the transport aircraft and noticed immediately who it was.

'I've got the jitters enough without you adding more to my plate, Sam.' His voice reeked of sarcasm.

Almost out of breath, he handed a sealed package of papers to Jim. 'Here is the information your father-in-law strongly recommendded you study as a final preparation for this, and just so you...' He finally ran out of breath and drew in a long one. 'Know, the president himself with the foreign minister's approval, is sending Eli Roth with you as special counsel.'
Jim was stunned for a secoond, not sure if he should be scared or honored. He put on a positive face for his friend.

'I guess they want to make sure I don't screw the pooch on this one, huh.'

Sam let out a deep, loud laugh.

'At least you know he'll probably kill you quickly if you do screw the pooch!' That one made Jim a little queasy. 'Have a safe flight, Jim. Takeoff is in fifteen.'

'Thanks Sam, see you in a few days.' They shook hands and parted as the loud whine of jet engines spooling up began to drown out all other noise near them.

Jim climbed up the stairs and boarded the Li-404 transport. Since things were moving so fast, The foreign service had no dedicated aircraft to use and so was instead dependent on the Tilsitsinian Air Force for transportation. As he entered the cabin, an air force major greeted him.

'Mr. Phillips?' Jim nodded rapidly, nervously. 'Welcome aboard sir. I'm Major Thomas, flight commander. I'll have you and Mr. Roth to Whiskeasy in about seven hours. Enjoy the flight, sir.' Jim shook the officer's hand with his own free one, and walked back to where he could see Eli Roth already strapped in for takeoff, eyeing Jim coldly.

The Present

The lumbering Liahona medium transport aircraft, an older Li-404 with newly-applied paint and bright national livery, banked slowly to starboard as the two Su-47B fighters flaking each wing did the same.

In the transport's cockpit, Major Thomas and his co-pilot began their pre-landing checks as the co-pilot repositioned his mic closer to his mouth.

'Echo Flight, we're on our way in. Thanks for the escort, boys and have a nice flight back.' The com channel crackled back. 'Tango three six this is Echo Leader. You boys be safe, and momma will send a few more to pick you up from school later on. Echo Lead out.' Major Thomas and his co-pilot smiled as they saw the two Su-47s pull up and bank hard in unison.

The copilot changed channels on the com stack as the major continued pre-landing checks. 'Whiskeasy control, this is Tilsitsin Bravo-Two-Two-Three Kilo Heavy, requesting permission to land with diplomatic passengers.'

As Jim Phillips walked briskly to the main hall where the conference was already underway, he couldn't help but to notice that as Eli Roth walked beside him, he remained just a step or two ahead of Jim at all times.

'Remember the lesson of our debacle in Pantera. I was assistant foreign secretary when that happened, and it turned out to be the beginning of the en-' Jim intentionally cut him off mid-sentence as if he wasn't even listening, maybe hoping to remind Eli exactly who is in charge of this mission.

'Pantera is a thing of the past. It was a horrible event, true, but we can't let that shy us into continued isolation. And remember, this is what our king and president want.'

Eli's face was flush. 'I'm well aware of what our King desires, young man. My intention is to keep you from any potential embarassments.'

Jim let the hostility in Eli's voice slide, if in part because he knew the truth in Eli's words. The King of Tilsitsin and the president both despise slaver nations and the practice of slavery in particular, despite the fact that some in Tilsitsin feel little better than slaves to a life lacking in certain freedoms.

They came upon the entrance to the main hall where A Whiskeasean was asking for questions. Damn it, I missed the entire opening session, Jim thought.

Time to let everyone know we are here.

Jim nodded to Eli, who then looked away and led the other Tilsitsinian analysts and junior diplomatic officers in the entourage the other way.

Jim took a deep breath and began:

'My apologies for the tardiness of our delegation to this conference, gentleman and ladies. I am Jim Phillips, special envoy to this conference from the nation of Tilsitsin.'

He continued talking as he walked up to the podium.

'My nation is an old and proud one, just now emerging from a long period of international isolation. My people have sent me to this conference because our government, particularly our sovereign King, has an acute distaste for slaver nations. We would like to express our total support for this conference and what it represents and hopes to achieve. To that end, we will be willing to discusseconomic, military and political considerations towards the goal of obliterating the practice of slavery on our planet.'

'Thank you all, and I look forward to meeting all of the delegates, and our gracious hosts, personally.'

Jim felt like he could finally take a breath.

Not bad for a first speech, he thought. As he walked away from the podium he glanced over at Eli, who's subtle grin confirmed his what he was thinking.

Just as Daniels had just sat down when a man breezed in and made a speech about how he agreed with everything. Bold considering they had only just arrived. He got up and walked over to their table greeting people as he went. He arrived at their table and said "Hello, I am Prime Minister Jack Daniels, I am glad to see someone previously in isolation to come to this conference. It makes me feel as though the conference is succeeding somehow. I take it that you missed the opening speech? Well basically to combat Human Rights breaches across the world we are creating a coalition to stop it, especially the slave trade in IStormistan and Ralkovia. It would require members to use military methods to deal with countries which ignore diplomacy and reasoning."

"Approaching Whiskeasy airspace, my Führer." said the pilot of the Bombardier Challenger CL-605 over the intercom from the cockpit.

Prince Martin Leichstur II put down his paperwork and slid his glasses off of his face, placing both on the table before him. He looked over at Tony who had fallen asleep reclined in his chair.

He chuckled softly to himself and stood up, patting Tony's shoulder. "We're almost there, my friend.", he said loud enough help wake him up.

Tony stirred awake and blinked his eyes sleepily, stretching his arms out and reclining his seat back up. "That was a quick trip", he said as he glanced out the window and saw one of the three Sukhoi Su-30MKI flying not far from the wing of their jet.

Tony, who was of British descent, wore a formal brown suit and red tie. Martin wore a black suit with a black tie and a black peaked cap with a round pin at the front of cap of the national flag as well as a silver oak leaf embellishment on the brim.

The plane and her escort had already dropped them off at the first available runway and they received the transportation necessary to reach Haroway Hall.

Once they had been dropped off at the Hall's entrance they quickly made their way to the main room where they had been told the conference had already begun. Around them, following at a brisk pace next to them, were four bodyguards dressed in gray versions of Martin's uniform however with no embellishments on their peaked caps and thigh high black leather boots.

They entered the room as quietly as possible, spotted an empty table and took their seats quietly, their bodyguards standing attentively by the table.

'It is a pleasure to meet you, Prime Minister.' Jim could tell he had made some allies in the room with his opening remarks, and now was the time to make good on his words and cement these relationships.

'I must apologize for being so... assertive, but, our government is adamant in its position on slavery and nations that support it.'

Jim noticed Eli excusing himself from his seat in order to take a call on his cellular phone. He continued speaking with the prime minister.

'As we speak, our King is deliberating with his government on an appropriate response to the Ralkovian situation.'

He glanced over at Roth, who was finishing his phone call and retirning to the table.

'Please, Mr Prime Minister, don't let me keep you from your other guests. We will speak with you again soon when you have the time. But please, rest assured that it is only a short matter of time before we are able to militarily contribute to this effort.'

The two men shook hands and the Prime Minister walked away as Eli Roth learned over to whisper in Jim's ear.

'The president just informed me that the King authorized a military response to Ralkovia. Although combat isn't authorized, this will give us considerable political capital with these potential allies as they see we mean business.'

Jim began to get a feeling that he was getting in a bit over his head for someone with so little experience.

Certainly now, Mr Eli Roth would prove invaluable.

As Daniels turned away he saw yet more latecomers, was there any sense of punctuality left in the world? A man quititly slipped in, but he looked relativly unimportant so gestured to an aise to go brief him. He could not however miss the large group of dark uniformed and jack booted men. Damn Fascists he thought, he had a dislike for fascists as they had launched a revoloution only the year before however he had no professional dislike against them and he did not show it. He walked towards them and said "Welcome gentlemen to Whiskeasy, I am Prime Minister Jack Daniels, I'm not one-hundred percent sure who you are but you must have some sort of dislike in the breakers of Human Rights to be here." He quickly outlined what had been said earlier, and asked if their were any questions.

"A pleasure, Prime Minister Jack Daniels. I am Prince Martin Leichstur II, and this is my Supreme Advisor, Tony Gifford.", he said as he gestured to Tony who adjusted his glasses and smiled warmly, reaching across the table and shaking the Prime Minister's hand. "It is indeed a pleasure to meet you, Prime Minister. You have a lovely nation."

"We're from The Principality of Leichstur.", answered Martin. "And we have indeed come to discuss the state of Human Rights amongst the world's leaders. It is a shame that some nations in the world go so far as to mistreat the very people who gave them their trust to be their leader.", added Martin.

Martin thanked the Prime Minister for inquiring if they had any questions. "None at the moment, Prime Minister Daniels. I and my friend Tony look forward to a lucrative conference."

As Jim Phillips was discussing information just coming in from the Tilsitsinian intelligence services with an aide, Eli leaned in close to him.

'Do you see that man that just walked in over there?' Jim looked towards the direction that Eli's eyes were pointing.

'You showed me a picture of him on the flight over here. His name is-'.

'Williams. Ezekial Willaims.' Eli took slight pleasure in the opportunity to cut Jim off and return the favor.

'He's the Ralkovian ambassador at large. What an amazing arrogance for him to be seen here! The Ralkovians must truly be looking for a brawl. This is reminding me all too much of Pant-'

'Enough about Pantera, man! This is not Pantera! Have you looked around this room, Eli? If I remember correctly, we went it nearly alone with those pigs. This time around, we will have allies if it comes to military intervention!'

Ezekial breathed through his mevanac gills, war had scarred him for life, no longer could his body sustain itself on normal air. The wound to his lungs had come after a balkov soldier ripped into his lungs with a pair of Razor-knives. Doctors gave him replacement lungs but they almost killed him in doing so, now he was the most infamous ambassador of ralkovia, his scarred face and steel capillary and juggular vein gave him the look of a frankenstein. Kept alive by science alone he was the man who made other countries ambassadors look weak.

He was a genius in talking and people skills, cunning, devious and manipulative in discussion, he could turn the good guy into looking like the bad guy and weasel his country out of certain obligations.

He was a mastermind in brutality and brought with him not the arrogance of ralkovia like most diplomats but its very best minds. He was also a funny and random man when it came to certain things.

He just smiled as the other diplomats looked at him in disgust.

"Hazard pay no, this is more deserving of go into a nuclear powerplant that is in meltdown without a hazard suit.." he said, playing the current situation off as little more than a joke,"Thank you for the offer."

"I wanna kill the bloody bugger," Jaguar whispered to Donald as he watched the Ralkovian Ambassador arrive while he reached into his coat.

"Hold it," whispered back Donald as he held onto the arm of Jaguar. "I know you were once a slave like thousands of others, but there's alot of people here who are keen to get this Coalition working. Lynion needs the support and we can't afford to ruin the coalition during its early stage," finished Donald.

Jaguar took his flask and looked at it for a moment before taking a shot of Blood Whiskey before his PDA rumbled in his pocket. He took it out as it showed a news article. It stated that Imperial Australian Rebels were nabbed after a failure of buying slaves from Ralkovia. He quickly put his PDA away as he looked around.

"Do they expect the Rebels to be a setup?" whispered Donald to Jaguar.

"They didn't expect anything," finished Jaguar in a whisper. "I so wanna see that son of a b**** as a slave. I'll a ticket just to see that fag become a slave,"

"Just don't reached for the pistol," whispered back Donald as the conversation stopped there.

RE: State of the World Invitation

To all:

In continuing efforts to form diplomatic ties in the spirit of friendship and co-operation, the Republic of Karshkovia would be happy to attend the SWI event this year in Whiskeasy, however events beyond our control require our attention and focus during this time of great national tragedy. A nuclear power plant along our eastern seaboard has detonated, sending tons of nuclear material into the atmosphere and potentially affecting other nations around the world with the poisonous fallout.

On behalf of President Vladimir Radchenko and Prime Minister Valentina Borofski we regretfully must decline their invitation to the event this year as they decided to stay in country during this critical time. We are, in their sted, sending our Deputy Prime Minister, Ms. Itania Fedorcha.

Signed in my own hand,
Vasili Gorchev
Director of Foreign Affairs

Itania sniffed at the air as she stepped down out of the executive Citation X (http://www.mucphotos.de/Fotos/DBLDI_BIG.jpg) and walked through the downpour into the waiting sedan, her aide following behind with an umbrella. As they settled into the car, Itania sighed, "Any news from home on the incident, Victor?"

Victor Weston, Itania Fedorcha's personal assistant, shook his head and took out a PDA, "Still no word, but we just learned of this in the air, so I wouldn't imagine that we would be hearing much of anything right now. You worry about this mission at hand and I'll keep my ears and eyes on the news."

Itania nodded absently, and just let her mind wander as the car drove on to the secure event location. When they arrived, they were ushered into a large conference area with nations from around the world. Itania noticed nations that Karshkovia was friendly with, including Ustio, Ralkovia, Lynion, and Greston. She was aware of Ralkovia's current population control plans and she personally was not a big fan of them. Karshkovia had already issued a letter of disproval but because Ralkovia was a staunch ally, this wasn't pushed too hard though relations were strained greatly.

At 5' 5", 130 pounds, 38-29-37, with light brown hair down to the middle of her back and Dark blue eyes, she was a stunning woman, which she often used to her advantage. Itania walked to each of the friendly ambassadors and introduced herself. She was slightly intimidated by the Ralkovian ambassador, though her voice and handshake were firm in their introduction. She had missed his comment about the meeting being like a nuclear reactor in meltdown...probably as it was best she did.

After making the rounds, Itania found her place in the room and sat down, arranging papers and preparing for the meeting.

Ralkovia is doing this for the good of the empire, the day the Emperor is corrupt is the day that the world comes to an end. I do not go to your nation and tell your vamperial order how to work, so don't come to mine and tell us what should or shouldn't or you shall soon find yourself a slave to death herself."

"Ralkovia is no child to international politics, if you try to slap us on our wrists by hitting our trade routes you shall soon find a knife slit down your own wrists. I am not here to preach violence or war, which would probably get me thrown out of here, but the official statement of my government is that what you are doing is worse than what we could ever do, forming an alliance to take away a nations sovereignty. Jack Daniels looked on a little incredously "I could not disagree more with the Ralkovian and Fictions delegates. What a government does to the people, is of international importance. The people who voted a government in deserve proper treatment. Even the most archaic of all governments have some sort of oath to the people when a monarch or leader comes into power. This kind of treatment of your own people is disgusting. What is more important, the people or the Government sworn to protect it? And how is one of the people you are selling into slavery helping millions of others? If you mean the money brought in you must be joking. Your selling of your populous cheaper than television. This 'sovereignty' is nothing more than a shield to hide behind in times of worry. Sovereignty is more like international respect, if you piss people off. You are going to lose it. And trust me you have pissed of a lot of nations. Many millions if not billions of people are horrified by what you do. What about your own people, what do they think of it? Because if they honestly believe that selling off their brothers and sisters is a good idea. I think that the world I knew is dead." He stared at the monstrosity of machine and man in front of him and he thought that a better ambassador could not be found. Jack Daniels looked a little taken back by what had been said he turned to the thing in front of him and said "So you threaten me with war and Genocide to stop the paths of good and righteousness. You would invade and kill everybody in my nation because we stood up for the rights of your citizens? People have tried reasoning with your country to stop this. If money is a problem, open up trade with someone. Whiskeasy would happily sell excess toasters if it saved people a life of slavery. I think you will find that nobody here is intimidated by your cheap words and threats. You can not kill every last citizen in every country. Even the most faithful of your allies would leave if you killed every last Whiskeasian on the planet. And especially if you killed every Whiskeasian and Eridite. We shall not back down, we are strong in the face of such threats and ridiculous behavior."

21-10-2008, 23:35

He blinked and said "Well what am I supposed to say to that? I suppose I would draft in the reserves, everybody in Whiskeasy does a years military service. Apart from a few students everybody does. I would have to to save my country from utter destruction, that or try diplomacy with whoever the 'enemy' may be."
Ralkovia
21-10-2008, 23:44
"So you would send your population with the idea that many would die in an effort to save itself. My government sends people to work in other countries with the idea that they will be fed, clothed, and sheltered, since a dead slave is a worthless one, and you tell me that what we are doing is evil," he said enclosing his trap.
Whiskeasy
22-10-2008, 08:13
Jack Daniels saw the enclosing trap and said "Yes but the main factor in mine is the freedom of choice. Those who are willing to fight will fight, those who don't do another job to serve the nation. That is a bit of impossible problem for me though isn't it? If my whole country will be destroyed then of course I will use more troops to defend us. So would anybody, if diplomacy would be as futile as you suggested then even the most peaceful nation would fight. How can you liken selling off your own citizens to a last ditch patriotic struggle? Your country is not collapsing, it is in relatively good order and this is why you sell of your populous, to save your nation? From what?"
Ralkovia
22-10-2008, 14:02
He almost flinched at the words of his country was not collapsing. He couldn't help but think of the strongman image ralkovia put out to the world. It was ralkovia doing good in its propaganda field once again.

The truth of the matter was that ralkovia was beginning to drown in its own debt. The world was sadly entering into a more peaceful, that wasn't the word ezekial was thinking of, the world was never at peace, into a more diplomatic turn. No longer did countries fight each other for long periods of time because interlopers would come to the rescue... but that was beside the point. Ralkovia was one of the largest weapon manufacturers in the world and since it depended on those sales more than any other export ralkovia was struck hard when countries no longer relied on ralkovian weaponry.
Karshkovia
22-10-2008, 16:46
Itania decided the time was now to enter the debate.

“I can understand the argument of both sides. On one hand, the delegates of Ralkovia and Fiction believe that the government is charged to care for the whole nation and if there are poor and starving that exist in the nation, then they would be better served by other nations that could feed, cloth and shelter them. On the other hand the other multitude of delegates believes that a Government is for, by and of the people therefore exists to care for all its citizens.” Itania paused.

“Karshkovia has long been an ally of Ralkovia. We believe in our form of Government that is also for the people, by the people, and of the people. However, that said, we also believe that what a nation does internally is its own business. Nations should be allowed to grow, evolve, decay and dissolve all on their own without others meddling in internal matters. While Karshkovia finds Ralkovia’s sale of her citizens as deplorable and this has strained our relations, we still stand by Ralkovia’s side. If the people themselves were against these sales of their fellow citizens, then wouldn’t they revolt? Wouldn’t there be some upheaval in their society? Ralkovia is widely known for its control over its populous but even such rule can not stop all the voices of its entire population.” Itania looked around at the delegates.

“I mean no disrespect to the delegate from Ralkovia, but perhaps the people themselves are happy with this arrangement? Perhaps, and I have no data on this, but let us say that perhaps inside Ralkovia things may not be as they seem. Some citizens may prefer slavery verses living as they are now on the streets hungry and scared of how they would get by day by day. This also could be a way for the people of Ralkovia to unburden themselves with their violent or unstable criminals. Again, this is all hypothetical.”

“Let us set this all aside though. Through this discussion, I believe this conference is too focused on the idea of slavery instead of the bigger question which has escaped all of the delegates thus far. Why do Ralkovia’s citizens or Government believe that selling some of their people into slavery is a viable option? What could be happening in Ralkovia that would move that fairly stable nation into selling its citizens? That is the question that should be asked by the delegates. What can be done diplomatically to resolve the reason that Ralkovia has decided to sell off its citizens. Nothing is going to be solved by going after Ralkovia in a militaristic sense other than millions of lives on both sides being lost. I pose this to all delegates…let us sit down with Ralkovia and find a solution to whatever problem is plaguing them.”

“Now, on the explicit instructions of the Karshkovian President, Vladimir Radchenko, I have been authorized to offer Ralkovia this document.”

Itania passed a half-inch thick binder to her aide, who then rushed the thick binder to the Ralkovian Ambassador. Copies were quickly circulated to the other delegates.

“This document authorizes me to offer the Ralkovian ambassador $6 Trillion Universal Standard Dollars in exchange for any citizens they wish to be rid of. These citizens will be free persons in Karshkovia and naturalized into our nation. After this crisis is over, if Ralkovia wishes the citizens will be allowed to return of their own free will. The President has written this off as humanitarian aid and Ralkovia does not need to repay this money between allies. We only ask that the sale of citizens stop, temporarily, until we can reach some agreement here at this conference. Thank you and I now yield my time on the floor to the ambassador of Ralkovia."

Ezekials jaw dropped at the offer, but it had also been open after she uncovered the diplomatic table. Ralkovia was falling apart, the old regime had been torn apart in a single week leaving nothing but the outer shell. Ralkovia was suffering from a massive recession that was spiraling into a depression."We cannot accept such an offer."

Itania smiled, "I can understand that this would take some time to concider, however Karshkovia wishes to pledge her support to Ralkovia and in such, we are willing to provide this money with no strings attached. Karshkovians know the pain of hunger and we know the chill from lack of heat. We have suffered greatly and lived to tell the tale. In such, we also know that we do not wish to see a friend an ally's citizens suffer the same as we have in the past. In the words of President Radchenko, "What is a few trillion dollars between friends?"

"Commrad, Karshkovia is not blind as to what is happening inside Ralkovia. We have citizens working, living and leading lives inside your great nation as you have in ours. They speak to family and friends back home and the picture they paint is much different than the picture painted by your Public Relations people. Please do not let pride lead to the downfall of such a great people. Karshkovia sees no dishonor or shame in a friend building a bridge to help a friend over troubled waters. Remember, it was not but a few years ago that Ralkovia had assisted Karshkovia after we gained independance from the disasterous Soviet rule. We accepted your assistance because we knew pride would only be our undoing. Yes, we could have scratched and clawed our way back to the modern standards of living, but it would have taken decades to do so. Help from Ralkovia, among others, lifted us up faster than we could have ever done on our own. Now we bare the fruits of that labor and would it not be conciderate to offer back to our ally some of what they had sewed in our country? The $6 trillion is only a start. The President has decreed that another $15 Trillion will follow over the next five years. We also will forego any trade tarriffs on Ralkovian goods, and will be paying premium market values for Ralkovia goods. We also will be sending Billions of bushels of food-quality wheat and corn into Ralkovia as well as 700 Billion barrels of refined petrolium products. Under strict orders from the President, these are not to be compensated for by Ralkovia. Finally, Karshkovian banks will be happy to loan money to Ralkovian business for very low interest rates well into the single digits."

Looking at the Ralkovian Ambassador, Itania continuted, "The President and the Karshkovian people see the Ralkovian Empire as a trusted friend and we would be deeply hurt and offended if our offer of friendship and compassion is rejected here today."

Jack Daniels watched incredulously as what he now saw was a destroyed country rejecting a plan to save themselves. "I now see that Ralkovia has completly collapsed within itself. I stand corrected this is your last ditch attempt to save not your nation but your government. Tell me, does anything function internally in Ralkovia? Transport? Healthcare? Civil Administration? Why on earth are you fighting the change? The damage is irreversible, if your country is as screwed as I think it is you need to do something. What you have done is sick, but would it not have been easier to ask for aid? Or do something? Accept their Aid, it will only do you good. If this had come to light sooner surely we could of prevented this. The coalition should still go ahead as planned, although this proves that a organization to help is in order. Not everyone can depend on good friends and allies. We must continue in our efforts to stop breaches in Human Rights on and off the battlefield. What we see here is a huge aid effort and an excellent show that we should incorporate this kind of behavior in our coalition."

Prince Martin Leichstur II stood up from his table. "Prime Minister Daniels I was told this conference was being held to discuss the state of Human Rights internationally. I did not fly halfway across the world to discuss the trials of Ralkovia, a totally separate matter. While it does indeed relate to the subject of Human Rights I believe this is a conference pertaining to the enforcement of Human Rights via a supporting coalition not a Peace Conference to stop Ralkovia from bartering off it's citizens."

"Sir, I understand your point and agree to what this conference is about, however as we have been side tracked by a few nations that can not focus on the conference itself and are embroiled in a side-discussion, Karshkovia has made a bid to end this side-discussion so we can return to the main point of the conference. I would think that even a playboy prince would understand such basic diplomacy. Then again, royalty was never known for it's grasp of politics or diplomacy. It is not surprising that you would rather fight than solve problems diplomatically. Most nations such as yours result immediately to war before trying other tactics."

"As it sounds, the nation of Leichstur is spoiling for a war and wishes to end any talk of peaceful resolutions to this issue. May I remind the playboy prince that if he wishes war, his country isn't in a position to do much more than watch. Perhaps it is best if the playboy prince would sit down and let the adults speak and solve problems like adults, not like children in a school yard who think a fight is the only solution."

Right now my dear sir you are seeing the coalition in action. This is what we shall be doing, it sets a precedent for things to come. If we succeed in this surely it points to greater success later on. But you are right, we are dallying from the task at hand. Istania sighed. She noticed off-handedly she had been doing that a lot lately and made a mental note to stop doing it.

"To be honest, I hardly think that your nation would have much of a chance in a full out war with Karshkovia given we have a much large, better trained and equiped armed forces," Lowering her voice, Itania let ice touch her voice, "Let us also not forget, young prince, that while your nation is indeed mighty, between the two of us only Karshkovia has nuclear weapons, and if you were to go to war with us unprovolked, we will use them without any hesitation. Never forget that when you threaten our nation, our people, or our allies. The only war you can bring is conventional or limited biological or chemical."

Itania then smiled disarmingly, "But we are not here for war like the young playboy prince. We are here because we believe there are alternatives to war over human right offences. Now, let us move on from this young man's outburst and continue our diplomatic efforts to end such tragedies."

She had just walked into the reception area with her delegation and was waiting for Prime Minister Jack Daniels to come and greet her. According to the officers that had just greeted her, it was reported that he was rather busy with another matter.

She and her personal delegation sat down on a comfortable and luxuriously furnished waiting area. the furniters were luxurious but not too overblown. there were pleasant paintings on the walls and the colours were juts nice. Soft pale cream and yellow colours.

She adjusted her dressgown and leaned back in her chair. She was wearing a plain but no nonsense black dress with pearl and silver embroideries. She wore a simple but elegant pearl necklace and silver and diamond rings on her fingers.

She was looking forward to the meeting and especially what the representatives form the other antions had to say about the recent world issues. She had personal experience in the issue as she had served before as the delegate for Avarahn to the WA in charge of human rights. She was also the auntie of the Emperor of Avarahn though she loathed that term. ' Auntie ' indeed . She was only 42 and she was after all the youngest sister of the previous Emperor, the current Emperor's father. Message follows:

Pull out of the summit. Intel reports that the Coalition Party will break apart before it comes out of the building. Avoid hostile actions and head back to Lynx. There's another mission that requires our aid. Remember, no reasons are to be given when you leave.

"Cap'," whispered Donald. "If they're going to split the factions, then it could be an endless war. Sherman just message me on the PDA. If the military gets in power, they'll still have slavery and the Loyalists will do the same. The Coalition is going to go downhill the moment they don't stay true to their word," whispered Donald as Jaguar got up for a moment and started for the main door as they passed by Daniel.

"Lovely conference Daniel," started Jaguar as he looked out the main door. "However, we're needed back home and I doubt we'll take part in the Coalition. Something more serious just arise. I'll be seeing you around," finished Jaguar as him and Donald left the conference hall.

A fireball, erupting through the air; smoke rising; and then another explosion.

People called it the butterfly effect, or the chaos theory; one small thing leads to another, and another, and another. The slave had sabotaged the engine; the Ralkovian plane had exploded; and now five Eridites were dead.

Red-hot shrapnel had penetrated the fuel tank as it flew through the air, propelled by the explosion's force; the soft fuel tank skin was no match for it and the fuel immediately ignited, a second blast ripping through the air, killing or severely injuring everyone on board- two aides, one flight attendant, two pilots, and Liegelor.

The severely injured one being Liegelor.

A medic sprinted into the burning wreckage, extracting the fallen leader and carrying him with a fireman's lift as firefighters doused the flames that engulfed the mangled mess and wreck of metal; its foul stench filled the air. Looking around frantically, he yelled, "Hey! We need medical attention, stat! Ambulance! Ambulance!"

OOC: It would involve democratic, economical and military action against nations which break human rights. It would band together all like minded nations for the good of the world.

Cecilia Irrahn Serention-Takashi looked around at the other gathered offcials, they were all rather shaken but at least they were now continuing on with the meeting.

She spoke up, " Yes, I agree. We should progress with the alliance but there is still one issue I think is still unresolved."

Daniels looked at her, smiled, and asked " Yes? What is that Cecilia?".

She gave him a small smile in return.

Daniels bit his lip and she could see the beginnings of a flush on his face.

She turned back to the others and said, " I think that we should find out if we can het more information on the conflict in Ralkovia. Is there any human rights breaches that needs to be addressed there now ? Wars , especially domestic civil wars are terrible things and from what I have heard so far, one of the gruops involved are former slaves, now I would think that they will want revenge. But with that, anything can happen. Genocide, cruel executions, gassings, nuclear bombs ? Anything could happen", she leaned back in her chair at that, waiting for the response of the others.

Cecilia somehow made him very nervous, she made him feel like a school boy talking to the most popular girl in school. And how a woman made a Prime Minister of three terms, one war and an assassination attempt completely confused him.
Jack Daniels said "I know and that is what worries me, we have a potential of millions of people dying, and at the moment there is nothing we can do. I have my intelligance agency working on getting more info now. They are talking to everybody from ex-military to used car salesmen and we not getting much. Most of their contacts are dead. But they will find out more soon enough. But thank you your Highness for being so very calm." And he gave a little bow to Ceclia.

Sherman decided to go out on a limb, he knew this was probably not a wise move but he spoke anyway "Sometimes those things, executions and alike, m-maybe even breaching civil rights, sometimes they are...are necessary for civil order and...If something threatens the order of a country its government should do anything in its power...to...stop...it..." he tailed off, deep down he agreed with them, he knew they were right, this was wrong. What was happening was wrong, but he knew he could never say it.

(OOC: In reference to the coalition, not the bombing)

As the beings inside bickered about, yet another entity was entering. A "Judiciator" (Secret Police/On-Site Judges for the Federal Guard) from the Federal Guard was to serve as a delegate for the GWO. He was in formal Internal Control Department dress, complete with a red-white-and-black Swastika armband. As he entered the room, he gave a generally loud announcement.

"Well, kids, what've we got happening in here today?"

He took a seat before introducing himself.

"Ich bin Frank Orwaltz. I'm delighted to be here today."

Sherman looked up at the new arrival, and hoping that their jet had been thoroughly inspected for explosives, when he spoke his voice was unnaturally high and verging on the hysterical
"Oh nothing much had happened, a Ralkovian jet was blown up, many injured probably, I'm surprised you didn't see the remains you know, apart from that, were discussing slavery, the civil war in Ralkovia and general breaches in human rights" he paused and tried to regain composure "of course I'm not organizing this meeting, I'm just saying what i know, which is very little at the moment"

(Just in case you want to know the FPAR with the help of Northern Baltic is actually winning and has spread across the northern half of ralkovia. The communist FPAR has massacred most of the old government and its supporters. The old government losing strength is almost completely confined to the grand island and a few cities to the south. And the fascist TUB has taken on more liberal beliefs as its few radical right leaders have been killed in battle)

(Well all sides are equal in cities but in influence FPAR has the most, then TUB and then the old government. Old Government supporters are getting a huge amount of new troops from their allies though and that might change the course of battle.)

Jack Daniels couldn't help but notice people starting to leave he stood up and said "Well, before we do anything to help I think we should start organizing a coalition. What does everyone think?"

OOC: I have just started an intrest/sign up thread. Any and all welcome.
