We are interested in fighters to supress the Imperialian Government in Australia. We would require at least 100,000 extra hands to take on the government and remove it from power. However, Lynion is a threat to us as the only way would to be to go through Lynion waters. I purpose that we meet in International Waters at the following cooirdents (Random Position out in International Waters). These aren't on any shipping routes that nations used so it'll be safe.
We'll also give you USD$600 million for payment and your troubles. Please send it back to the sender or we risk becoming public should you just put: Imperial Australia not: Rebels of Imperial Australia.
OOC: Rebels of Imperial Australia is an actual Rebellion being formed in Imperial Australia and no-one knows anything about the organisation except Imperial Australia and possibly Lynion. This isn't Lynion, just Rebels from Imperial Australia.

A message heavily encrypted was sent back,"How about $800 million and we have ourselves a deal."
Reply in a very heavily encrypted message: "Done deal. $800 million will be given upon arrival. I suggest that you bring little naval escort as the larger the naval escort, the more interests Lynion and Imperial Australia will take in the operation. We'll dispatch five destroyers to help with the naval escort but I fear, if anymore come, Lynion and Imperial Australia will dispatch warships to intercept us,"
OOC: Can we RP the dealing? I've already got something worked out.

The ASoGM condemns this selling of people as slaves, as it always does. Therefore, by unanimous vote in an emergency session of the General Ministry, a provision has been made to allow any fleeing Ralkovian citizens to seek refuge in the ASoGM, and all ASoGM citizens in Ralkovia are being recalled, for their own safety. The ASoGM is also canceling all current and future trade with Ralkovia, and instituting a travel ban with the above listed exceptions. These bans will stay in effect until Ralkovia's civil rights become more tolerable.

The point was set as the Rebel Destroyers and freighters arrived at the point. However, five submarines had silently crept to the point and were now sitting at the sea floor as the sonar didn't pick them up. The Lynion's however were nicely setup along the nearby island coast. Using stealth aircraft, they were going to wait awhile before pouncing on their pray. Imperial Australian warships could be seen in the far distance as the Rebels took them as the warships that past the point usually.
"Where's the slavers?" demanded the Rebel Captain as he checked sonar again.
"Haven't being sighted sir," replied a Russian man as another past through the bridge.
"Anything on sonar?" demanded the captain.
"Sonar is only picking us on the screen and the radar hasn't picked up anything so far captain," replied the operator.

SUBJECT: Don't dig the very grave of your sovereignty
http://www.nationstates.net/images/flags/uploads/soviet_spain__0.jpg
As the president of the People's Republic of Spain, I'd like to personally counsel your nation to stop immediately the trading of human resources through public and official channels, which will ensue the build up of international hatred until the point that the entire world will be turning against you. Instead, It's advisable to engage into such trade through non official, grey and black markets, where there is less care to where they came from, allowing for the safe operation without the risk of drawing the ire of imperialist pigs looking for a pretext to annex more lands to their own. If you insist into the public and official channels, I only wish that you have a quick, bloodless annexation, for that will be your eventual fate. The People's Republic of Spain is currently at a state of war, which derives from purely ideological reasons as the pseudo-socialist Confederacy seeks to crush our national sovereignty. However, this war of ours has been regional, as we do not publicize or announce the realization any measures that would ensue the ire of international community, and should we ever have to resort or had resorted to harsh but necessary means to ensure our continued survival as a sovereign nation, we would never announce such means to the rest of the world. For to do so is akin to national suicide.

Moving to the communications board, Admiral Gerald Derundale, commander of the mission, opened a public link to the other ships. "Friends, Eridites, countrymen... today we set sail to mark a change in the world. Where Erid'Lor joins the international community in pro-peace, anti-slavery, pro-people methods. We are sailing to Lynx, friends, to aid them in anti-piracy efforts- Ralkovia is selling its people in a show of tyranny and cruelty. It is our moral obligation to stop this; our honour to do so. Pro populus, friends. Pro populus."
He closed the link, and the massive battlegroups began to depart- submarines and AAS accompanying.

However, alongside International Units, we're going to take down a slave trade that should've being vanquished era's ago," finished Sherman. "Fear not my Assassin's, we have allies coming to aid us. The Eridites are coming to help us. Glory to freedom!" finished the holograph before it vanished.

*TIME CRUNCH*
The fleet had arrived; operations were to commence. The fleet was at highest alert with defensive and offensive systems; 13 fighters defended each of the two massive supercarriers. The Admiral opened a link to Lynx. "Friends, we have arrived. Are we ready to commence op?"
"Radar and sonar just picked up an armada heading towards Lynx," started the operator as Rathma looked down on him.
"This is Vamperial Master Rathma to anti-shipping systems," started Rathma on the intercom. "We got unknown classification warships inbound to Lynx Colony. Mark targets and radio back and no-one is to open fire," finished Rathma as he turned back to the operator.
"Sir, its Eridite warships," stated the operator as Rathma started the timer.
"I know," replied Rathma. "We need to time the new coastal defence's,"
Shortly later the operators of the coastal systems replied back to Rathma. All stations had marked their targets, worked out the classifications and the numbers of the warships.
"That was a minute 16 seconds," stated Rathma into the intercom. "Excellent work men, now go get yourself something to eat," finished Rathma as he got onto the intercom to the fleet. "This is Vamperial Master Rathma calling Eridite Armada, you have permission to land a officer to Lynx Shipyard to get a briefing about the situation. Also, don't worry about the Coastal Anti-Shipping System, it was just a drill we needed to conduct," explained Rathma.

The Observation Satellite, Kalypso II had made a pass over the area feeding data to the ships in the region.
All Ralkovian ships*, particularly the merchant ones, were all heavily armed and the crews heavily experienced. Ralkovia had faced countless pirates, raids, and ambushs over its history and had learned that keeping weapons on board was a necessity. Most vessels carried large crates that when opened acted as automated turrets.
If the vessel was worth its weight it would usually be insured with automated anti-aircraft systems and automated torpedo and machine gun systems. So of course a fleet of ralkovian trade ships could easily defend itself from destroyers, frigates, and if the fleet was large enough even cruisers and battleships. It could also defend itself from fighters with the ingenius SAM systems. And even submarines if they were close enough and had just launched their own torpedoes.
So ralkovian shipping continued unhindered.

19-10-2008, 22:08
The King's personal meeting chambers on the premises of the royal country estate commonly known as The Berg were both massive and beautiful. The estate was located in the mountains northwest of Tilsitsin City, not more than two hours' drive away from the nation's capital. The king preferred to hold private council here whenever possible, and always saw this place as one where he could make critial national decisions with care.
He sat at his massive oak desk, facing away from it towards a large set of windows looking out over a mountanous vista that would take your breath away. It was quickly turning to evening, and the light that remained on the landscape was a beautiful, dull, orange-yellow one.
The Tilsitsinian president sat in one of four large chairs facing the King's desk, slowly flipping through a handful of papers with bright red stamps on them as two aides stood behind him, silent and still.
'Leave us', the King said quietly. He was visibly in one of his contemplative moods.
The president turned in his chair, glanced at the aides who curtly bowed at their sovereign and exited quickly. As the door closed behind them with a loud echo, the king turned to face his president.
'I fear we may be treading in the troubled territory of my father's time, Mr. President. Let me be frank with you; I cannot stand slavery any more than you, quite possibly more. But we are just now reinserting ourselves onto the international stage, and I fear we are taking to great a leap by plunging ourselves into this Ralkovian situation.'
The King's gaze was constant and unflinching.
This sovereign is a strong one, by god! Stong and wise, for sure. His father would be proud of this man, without doubt! President Grayson thought to himself.
'My King, I beg to reiterate that we are not proposing outright military action. We may have the military strength and capability to intervene in this country, but we are without allies when they appear to have many.'
The king turned his attention to a map of the world on one of the walls of the room that was nearly four men high and triple that length wide and rose up out of his chair to walk over to is as the president continued to talk.
'What we are proposing is to simply join this coalition of antislavery nations by sendng a naval observation group with the hope of us gaining us like-minded allies as we look to the future.'
The king approached the huge map, raising his hand to touch Ralkovia on it.
'And what do you propose to accomplish this immediate task?'
'Field Marshal Tennyson and the general staff recommend that we send high level communiques to the anti-slavery forces immediately through diplomatic channels while also immediately ordering the 15th Fleet into the area in an official observation capacity. This will give us seven Seawolf subs, a fleet carrier, two battleships and five cruisers in the area, in addition to about sixteen Aegis destroyers and several more support vessels in the area within about 12 hours.'
The King was still examining his map.
'You have my blessing for this, Mr. Grayson. Please be sure this happens immediately.'
The President rose from his chair and began to bow as the president continued.
'I have only one request', said the King. The President looked up from his bow and stood up straight.
'My only wish is that we do not enter into open combat, under any condition. If we are fired upon, we must make all efforts to respond only with what is necessary in order to extricate ourselves from the situation. This is to be a purely diplomatic show of force, if I am understood.'
'It is perfectly clear, my King. I will make the necessary preparations at once.'
The King gave a subdued gesture of dismissal, and with that President Grayson bowed quickly again and hurredly left the room.
He walked quickly down one of several long corridors of the residence until he reached his guest chambers, where in one swift movement he walked in, and headed for the secure phone on his desk, while an aide closed his doors behind him. He dialed numbers on the phone and begin to talk, still standing beside his desk.
'Will, please contact the Field Marshal's adjutant immediately. We have a green light for Vigilant Sentry. Have them put one of the Foreign Legion combat groups on alert as well. Also please contact Ginger at the Foreign Office and tell her to contact the alliance members through diplomatic channels in order to coordinate our response.'
After a pause he continued: 'No, I'll have my staff prepare my statement for the press tonight and arrange a conference first thing in the morning. Thank you Will'.
The president wanted to rest, because this had proven to be one of his longest days since the recent national mine worker strikes, and the day wasn't even near being over with yet.
Too much to do right now, I'll have to rest when I'm dead.
It was going to be another long night.

Ralkovian naval ships only watched the ships on the horizon. For now ralkovian citizens could only bite their lips seeing the coast blanketed with newly emplaced coastal defense, beautiful beaches turned into a myriad of concrete and concertina wire.
Kids digging holes had been replaced by soldiers digging ditches to place mines. Volleyball nets were replaced with electric fences, parking lots filled with humvees and tanks, and fishing boats replaced with gun ships.

OFFICIAL IMPERIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
It comes to our attention that our brothers in the Generian and Borman Empires are opposed now, hands raised against them by inferior peoples. The Emperor is displeased by this, and He commands that all those who oppose our Borman and Generian allies cease to assail and injure allied interests and withdraw their threats.
Clinging to primitive ethics regarding slavery will not save the impious and foolish: what our noble brothers are defending is irrelevant, and what matters is that they do defend it. Knowing this, heathens have nonetheless taken steps injurious to the prosperity and prestige of our allies, and this will not be tolerated.
It is not the place of infidels to inquire why, even silently. The task of subhuman filth such as the rabble that opposes us is not to question, but to accept and to obey. It is enough that the Emperor instructs you. If His word is not promptly obeyed, then it will be quickly followed by His wrath.

The 5th Bomb Group's ready room at Great Roslin Air Force Base is a large and comfortable one, even by Tilsitsinian Air Force standards. But today it seemed smaller than usual because of all the pilots and crew crammed into it. Every chair was full, and the men in the room were talking to each other loudly about why they could possibly all be needed here at the same time.
Captain John Tyler is one of several junior pilots in the mass of people in the room, only having come to the unit's 43rd Bomb Squadron three weeks ago fresh out of the bomber pilots' course at Eltzim AFB's advanced conversion training squadron. He still had a hard time believing that he was actually a skipper of his own Tu-160/A-3* bomber. He was yet to fly an operational mission, but he had confidence that when the time came, he would perform up to the unit's standards.
'Any idea what this one is about, Captain?' John's co-pilot was even newer than he was, if it was even possible. John looked forward to the time they would ease up on formal titles like they weren't on the parade ground all the time. Maybe a few beers later on this evening might help loosen things up.
'I know as much as you do, Roger. Hopefully this is just a readiness briefing.'
Deep down, John was nervous about making his first operational flight and hoped this wouldn't be the night for it. Before they could continue with any more small talk, the adjutant walked to the from of the room.
'Gentleman, ATTEN-TION!'
The voices in the room went instantly silent as voices were replaced with the sound of shuffling feet, until seconds later the only sounds left in the huge room were the clocks on the walls and the group commander's shoes striking the highly-polished linoleum floors.
'Good evening, gentlemen! At ease, at ease. Please sit down. I'm sorry to pull you on your night off, but it wouldn't be the air force if we didn't try to get our money's worth out of you before you leave for the airlines.'
Most in the room gave a short, nervous chuckle.
'Ira, please dim the lights.' The C.O. stood by the front display board as the room grew dark and a ceiling mounted projector turned on. The picture on the screen appeared to be from a satellite.
'Our mission, gentlemen, is a classified one. We will launch at 2:35am local time and fly to refueling point 'A', here, and then proceed to initial pount Echo, here and await final mission clearance. Once this is given, we will then proceed to penetrate Ralkovian airspace below radar in order to launch supersonic conventional cruise weapons at predetermined military targets within the country.'
John could swear his heart skipped a few beats.
'Any questions?'
The room was silent.
'Then good luck gentlemen, and proceed to your quarters immediately and prepare for flight!'
All in the room rose to attention and then began shuffling out. Roger looked nervously at his captain, not sure what to think.
'You think this is the real thing, captain?'
John didn't want to scare the kid more than he already was.
'You really think just because they load us up with real weapons it means we're going to be flying a genuine combat combat mission? You haven't been here long enough to understand the C.O.'s humor.'
Both of them smiled and continued on to their quarters unsure of what exactly lie ahead, but John couldn't help but to think that this was one hell of a way to start his career as a heavy bomber pilot.
*The Tu-160/A-3 is the Tilsitsinian version of the original Tu-160 bomber, with improved engines, fully digital modern glass cockpits, improved terrain-following radar, and other avionics and defensive systems changes.

(Blessed Seas Cruise Ship)
Three large cruise ships, the Blessed Seas, the Fantastic Voyager, and the Lost Paradise, were sailing towards Ralkovia. They were sailing under the flag of the Beatus, and the Ralkovian government had been informed of their arrival. The ships had been chartered, at great expense, by the Caplin Biotech Industrial Resaech Laboratory Center Complex, and the captain of the lead ship, the Blessed Seas, had been sailing or the better part of his 64 year long, life. Hopefully there would be no trouble, and things would go smoothly.

The blue ocean churned violently as the armada of ships cut its path through the water. Men ran to and fro on the decks, ensuring that all weapons and systems were in peak condition, aircraft were maintaining air superiority, and more. FIA-69 Nikolais, the latest production from Imperial Avionics™ and named after the Generian emperor, continually took off and landed aboard Borman Show carriers, casting an awesome net of air superiority around the entire armada and extending hundreds of nautical miles outside of the armada’s position. RADAR, SONAR, LIDAR, and more continually buzzed from hundreds of ships, ensuring that no threat, submerged or otherwise, would manage to approach the Fleets without their knowledge.
A sailor garbed in a crisp white uniform ran down the thin wooded hallway of the BMS Victory, acting as command ship. Turning sharply around several corners he came to Admiral Williams and threw a salute.
“Sir, Fleets approaching Ralkovian territorial waters. As you know, land is easily visible and we’re just now nearing the borders of their claimed maritime limits.”
“Excellent! That will be all, son.”
The sailor dropped his arm to his side in a well rehearsed manner, then turning on his heels he once more snapped into a brisk trot away from the command centre. Admiral Williams removed his cap, running a hand through his thinning brown hair, as he stepped into the command centre. Replacing his cap, slightly askew, he bellowed out orders to the team of sailors busily manning the center.
“Territorial waters are in range, people! Let’s fan out in a defensive grid wrapping as much around Ralkovia’s coastline as we can without depleting vessel consistency. Ralkovia is, as of now, considered friendly, so let’s place our vulnerable ships there and face escorts and Maddox towards the open sea. Maintain air superiority and spread our defensive air grid not just over the entirety of our ships, but both in and out from our defensive line. Submarines are to be actively patrolling the entire area encircling Ralkovia’s territorial waters, not just underneath our Fleets. If any submerged threat tries to come in, I need to know. Lastly, release AWACS and ELINT aircraft, let’s get our eye spread out over all of Ralkovia’s coast line – I want to know if anything tries to come in her coastline. Now, let’s get on it!”
With that the centre broke into a hive of buzzing activity as everyone picked up the pace, now operating at only several notches beneath Battle Stations activity. Williams pulled one young communications officer aside and quietly spoke to him.
“I want you to get me in contact with Ralkovia. Let them know that we’re here, what we’re doing, and all the jazz – you know the drill. And, ask them how opposed they’d be to several thousand Imperial soldiers unloading on their nation. We don’t want those boys cramped up in the Bellums if they don’t need to be.”

To: Whom It May Concern Within Ralkovia’s Government
From: Admiral Williams, Commodore of the 3rd and 4th Imperial Fleets
To Whom It May Concern,
We would like to inform you that, as of this moment, my fleets have arrived on the outskirts of your maritime claims. As of now we are spreading out in a defensive line to cover and protect as much of your territorial waters as we can. We will, of course, allow your national vessels, and those whom you authorize us to, through our protective line and into your territorial waters. Our AA defensive grid will be extended from our naval line towards your coast and out towards the sea, we can guarantee that not a single unauthorized aircraft will get through this grid. However, be forewarned that any aircraft attempting to penetrate, your own or otherwise, who fails to properly identify themselves will be terminated. But, as to the portion of your coastline we are not covering with our defensive grid, we will be covering with intelligence gathering aircraft. While we can’t guarantee that nothing will get through this, chances are more than likely that we will be advised of any incoming unauthorized aircraft, and be able to dispatch fighters to intercept them. Additionally, our submarines will be patrolling the depths of your entire coastline, outside of your territorial waters of course, and we would greatly appreciate if you were to send us coordinates of all mines and submerged ASW defenses so we can avoid them.
Lastly, would you be willing to have several thousand Imperial soldiers land and stretch their legs in your nation. We have quite a contingent with us and don’t desire to see them cooped up – they were made for land. We will, of course, limit their number to something you approve of.
Regards

"Sir, something just cmae up on sonar," started an operator's voice as the captain came over to him.
"Crap, looks like an armada of some kind," started the captain. "Is it friendly or slave traders?"
"It could be anyone captain but I somehow doubt its slave traders of they would've moved into the waters of Ralkovia and started landing procedures," answered the operator as the captain took off his cap and smiled at the operator.
"That's what I call training well paid off," stated the captain as he turned to operator on the other side of the room. "Send an encrypted message to the party to hold their fire and send a transmission to Lynx for orders. We might've hit the jackpot if its slavers," finished the captain. "All sub's are to remain quiet,"
"Yes sir," replied the operator on the other side of the room.

The crew on deck, spotted many military ships in the area, and jet aircraft were in the skies. To whom the aircraft, and ships belonged, was unknown. The crews were uneasy, with the large scale military activity in the area, but who would mistake something as big as a cruise ship, as anything else. They had filed the proper paperwork with the Ralkovian government, and were doing nothing that was illegal, that they knew of, so they had no reason to be concerned, though they were. The three cruise ships continued their course towards Ralkovia.
Karshkovia
20-10-2008, 21:33
The Kalshka slowly made her way towards the open ocean on yet another voyage to her homeland. She was one of the few remaining converted soviet-era frigates still in her country’s service. While there were newer vessels with faster engines, there were few left that boasted armor plating and double hulls. State-owned, she had a DWT of about fifty-seven thousand (57,000) tons, and was a converted mass-troop transport vessel. Her exterior had not been changed much and she still looked like an old armored troop transport, complement 5,000. In reality, she had a complete reformation of her interior into separate cargo holds and now was returning from Ralkovia her holds filled to the brim with red hard winter wheat, bound for Karshkovian market.
She was also the one of the few Karshkovia merchant ships to be permanently assigned a small military force that was armed to the teeth to repel borders. Increased piracy along the shipping route she used required this addition. Because the pirates had been bold enough to attack and claim ships that had armed guards, Kalshka also had one destroyer assigned as a permanent escort to prevent pirate or hostile military actions against the large frigate. She was an ugly ship but no-one doubted that she was certainly sea worthy and would run forever given proper care. During her time in port, per Ralkovian request, the Acrux, a Sovremenny class destroyer and escort of the Klashka, remained in international waters.
Klashka’s departure from the docks was uneventful and at noon that day, she reached international waters and joined her escort. The Acrux and the Klashka set a course to take them away from the area at a reasonably quick speed; the Acrux was at general quarters and ready for action in case any of the blockading nations decided to throw their weight around.

OOC: Written before Ralkovia's response
“Sir…we’ve got something,” said the submarine ensign, turning around in his chair and calling to his captain.
Captain Allbright looked up from the charts he’d been studying and walked over towards the man, “What do you mean?”
“Well, we’ve kind of skirted into Ralkovian waters, bringing us into their littoral waters. Accordingly, I gave up on passive SONAR, since it wouldn’t be able to discern anything in the mass of noise, and turned to our surveillance towed-array sensor systems. Fortunately, the thermocline doesn’t seem to exist in this shallow depth and in using low-frequency active SONAR in conjunction with scalable generic signal processor (GSP) I thought I might have picked up on something which appeared to be sitting on the ocean floor. I didn’t want to alert you before I was at least mostly sure. Then, I realized I was acting like an idiot. For anything hiding in these waters if they hoped to have any indication of other vessels approaching, they’d need to be using their own active SONAR; passive SONAR would do nothing for them – especially with the Fleets we’ve brought. Sure enough, we’re receiving pings from at least three confirmed non-allied sources.”
“Submarines?”
“Probably, however, we’ve not confirmed it. As of this time they continue to lay in wait.”
“Why?”
“Well, it could be that our Port Lucien-constructed SONAR was operating at such a frequency that they failed to pick up on it – something it was specifically designed to be able to do; additionally, it seems that we’re far enough out of range of them that their SONAR alerted us to their position yet the reflecting beams did not make it back to them or carry enough to alert them to our presence. Or…they could know we’re here, and be waiting to strike.”
“Ok. Hmm…Certainly if we approach and they didn’t know we were here, they would then. But, the question remains – what is it and whose is it?”
“We’re still not in a state of war, technically we have no hostiles. It’s also possible they’re ASW defenses planted by Ralkovia, if not their own subs.”
“True, true. As of now, Ralkovia has not provided us with that information, so we have no way of knowing for sure. That leaves us with one option, inquiry.” The first ensign, knowing what would happen, resumed his position as the Captain turned and spoke to another ensign. “Get me in contact with the nearest of those unidentified blips. Query them as to national origin and intention.”
“Yes sir!”
The Captain then, folding his hands together behind his back, turned to face the majority of his weapons staff. “Ready torpedo tubes and SSGN tubes, if these are hostile subs, we must open fire.”

The submarines turned around and started to head out to sea as a theory was put forward by their captains. If they turn off their sonar and kept the noise level low, they might be able to slip away from the fleet sitting above them. They were heading out to sea as they got further away from the fleet that was sitting in Ralkovia after it was decided it was with the slave traders and not against them. There was more than one way to hunt down those slavers.

"Captain Allbright!"
Once more turning to the young ensign the Captain nodded his head, "Yes, son?"
"SONAR confirms, five Lynion submarines have left Ralkovian waters. Exiting from Imperial Naval line towards opean ocean."
"Good. Inform the Admiral."
-------------------------
Admiral Williams looked sternly in the eye of the man who'd finished briefing him on the Lynonian subs. "Hunting for slavers, eh? Task the Hammer-Heads with a wider arc outside of our Fleets. Put ten of them in staggered pursuit of Lynion vessels, passive SONAR save for occasional active spurts from lead submarine; we've got these waves so full of SONAR they won't know the difference. If they stop, ours will too, only passive then - just monitor them. I want to know if they turn around towards Ralkovia."
The army of intently listening people once more hunched over their various systems, typing, clickins, speaking, and ensuring the Admiral's orders were carried out.
"Oh, and inform Ralkovia."

The Imperial 7th fleet cruised quietly into Ralkovian waters. On the bridge of the Imperial Apophis Class supercapital, Admiral Kyril Kovac crushed out a cigarette.
“Admiral, sir, we’ve made contact with Allied fleets in the area. Admiral Williams of the Borman Imperial Navy is reporting contacts with several vessels. Four are confirmed friendly to the Ralkovian government, plus a group of five Los Angeles-class that apparently withdrew upon making contact with Borman submarine pickets.”
“Very well. Advise our pickets to go to active sonar. It’s not unlikely with the blockade in effect that someone will try to slip past. And fly our flags high. This is a show of force. Make sure that if anyone decides to make trouble, they know who they’re shooting at.”
“Aye, sir.”

TO- ALL PARTIES INVOLVED IN THE RALKOVIAN INCIDENT
Esteemed leaders,
The Imperium of Belkaros does not wish to involve itself in military action at this time, and to this end, would like to leave with those individuals we have already processed. Know that we are not taking these individuals as slaves, rather, we are naturalizing all those we take into custody as Belkan citizens, soon to live and work as they choose among our general population. We have done our best to maintain as many family units as possible during this process. I feel that this is the best solution to this crisis, giving the Ralkovians the capital they sought through this gambit and easing the moral problems slavery in the modern world present. With this in mind, please allow my transports to leave peacefully, so that we may avoid adding to the tragedy already caused by the disagreeable actions of the Ralkovian government.
Do not hesitate to contact my office to discuss these terms further.

Salzland
21-10-2008, 04:10
President William Phillips sighed as he sank back into his office chair. The emerging anti-slavery coalition had appeared so strong in its early days, especially after the vocal display of support on behalf of the Lyran government. Since then however, slavers had come out of the woodwork, rallying around Ralkovia and a handful of superpowers willing to assist the Ralkovian display of state-sponsored terrorism with a massive show of military force.
Any attempts at striking down this budding rebirth of the international slade trade through military force would be futile. Even if the Salzland Defense Fleet was not critically overstretched in two foreign wars, it would certainly be smashed by the forces now arrayed alongside the slavers. Going to war would be tantamount to committing national suicide.
Still, there were other ways to deal with the slave trade. Economics was one such tool. Already, the nations rallying to Ralkovia had found their way, discreetly, to the list of nations Salzland considered as rogue regimes or sponsors of state terrorism. These countries would not be allowed to sell commercial goods or services in Salzland, nor would Salzlander businesses be permitted to contribute to the economic well-being of those states.
Politics was another weapon, one which would be employed fully against the emerging slave trade. Already communications were being prepared for members of the budding anti-slavery coalition, detailing plans to co-ordinate economic embargoes (OOC: Not blockades, embargoes. There's a difference, look it up. I'm tired of people considering them synonyms. And if someone actually tries to go to war just to force my nation to buy your goods and/or services, save yourself the time and just consider it ignored) against the slavers, as well as building support among the international community at large. There had once been an international ban on the slave trade; Salzland would not rest until that ban was renewed.
There was one last weapon which Salzland could employ, which would require perhaps the largest sacrifice of the three. Though it was said that pride was an emotion that a world leader could not afford, the loss of face that President Phillips was about to subject himself to would still sting not just himself, but the entire nation. But it had to be done, at least for the greater good of the helpless, forcibly enslaved individuals being sold like cattle by a corrupt government that knew whom to hide behind.
Resigned, President Phillips began to write out a note which would be forwarded to agents of the Ralkovian Government. While the nation of Salzland made it a matter of principle to avoid sending any form of support to tyrants, in this instance there was no choice. The Salzland Government would buy freedom for as many slaves as it could and drive up the market price in the process by removing a portion of the supply so at least the smaller slave traders, least-likely to adequately provide for their captives, would be forced out.
****

Broadcast to Ralkovia, All Nations Involved
To the Disreputable Leadership of Ralkovia, I am Tanner Kilo. I am addressing you as a leader of the free world, the President of the Constitutional Federal Republic of ViZion - a nation in which enjoys among the most powerful economics the world over, its people among the wealthiest as a whole, and one in which monetary concerns are almost non-existent.
I have heard of your recent actions, selling your citizens away like animals at a market. In exchange for money, a problem caused only by your own government. Such a pathetic way of running your nation into the ground, and one which will only get you, as leaders, killed. And the money you made, that'll all be gone.
So, I have an offer for you. And should you not take it, the benefits listed will not be available to you. So I urge you to highly consider this. And note that all nations involved in this are receiving this broadcast; there will be no out in saying I have not been generous in offer to you.
In exchange for ceasing any further trade to all other entities and sending all citizens currently available to us, and to allow us to reclaim those sold - you will refund their money - you will be receiving a wide range of benefits.
We will, for one, open up trade routes with your nation to allow free-flowing goods to help jump start and stabilize your economy. In addition to this, we will offer you the ability to change currency from your current one to ours, the Gold Standard. A currency of which is not corruptible, a currency in which is as stable as anything out there, and a currency stronger then just about any else.
This will also insure your defense from ViZion should any nations choose to disregard our warnings and continue on their path to attack you over this situation, as you have ceased your illegal and immoral activities. We are also willing to send economic, political, and military experts to assist in helping your nation right itself and establish itself as a respected nation in which most nations dare not attack you unjustly for fear of severe retribution from your people, your allies, and the international community as a whole.
We will, in addition to the above, setup International Medical Foundation bases throughout your nation to serve as hospitals and humanitarian outposts while your nation gets fully into the groove of things.
This is an extremely generous offer we lay in front of you, for all to see. One in which will save your nation from possibly annihilated, and the sure death of you, as leaders. It will lead your nation to greatness, your people to happiness, and your government to power and respect and wealth.
I hope that, not only for your citizens, but for you as leaders, you will accept this gracious offer. Your nation WILL be protected by myself, the Borman Empire, the Generic Empire, and others should you accept, and you will become properous and powerful.
Thank you for your time.

2 Ospreys brought over the slaves to the battleship and with that ralkovia was done with the slavery business. It had raised the money it needed. Of course ralkovian parliament went into session to make the offer look legit.
As if, beckoned by the new offer the kewen response came quickly.
We raise out bids to One billion per of the one huundred slaves and a total of fifty billion per the extra requested on behalf of the Kewen government

How dare you! Last time I checked, Ralkovia was a sovereign state. The government has the right to do whatever it pleases with its nationals, no matter how much vomit I disspelled before being able to actually respond to this. Uiri wishes to meet with Ralkovian leaders. We shall send an Airbua A380 to Ralkovia's biggest airport. We request that our allies allow us to try and reason with these men.

Statment given by Lynion Government
Lynion Forces are forced to withdraw from hunting slavery ships. This is due to the sudden unrest and change of power in our region. With the arise of an old enemy, its being ordered by the monarchy that all Lynion Military Forces are to withdraw and prepare for the oncoming storm.
OOC: I'll be going into isloation soon because of exams in real life. Ha, exams.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
To: International Community
From: Office of the Secretary of State, Dartia
Re: People's Empire of Ralkovia
It is the position of the Free Land of Dartia that the People's Empire of Ralkovia has demonstrated a pattern of behavior we find unacceptable. Offenses include callous disrespect for human life, flagrant civil rights violations, and violent suppression of political freedoms.
As of today, our government hereby classifies the People's Empire of Ralkovia as a rogue state. Effective immediately, all trade and diplomatic ties with that nation are officially severed. Furthermore, arrest warrants have been issued for Ralkovia's leadership and parliament. Should any of those individuals ever step foot on Dartian soil, they will be detained and tried for crimes against humanity.
Signed,
Joeline Simpson
Secretary of State, Dartia

Emperor Nikolai removed his spectacles and placed the document on the desk before him.
“I haven’t seen activity from ViZion in the longest time,” he mused to the deaf, mute servant standing beside him. “It’s certainly the reasonable approach to take.”
There was a knock at the large double doors to the Emperor’s study, and a moment later they opened. A man stepped in and bowed, nearly touching his forehead to the floor.
“Your grace,” he said, keeping his eyes averted, “there are murmurs from Imperial Intelligence that the Ralkovian government plans to end their trade of slaves, and accept President Kilo’s offer.”
The Emperor nodded.
“It’s not surprising. Their initial concerns were purely monetary.”
The man advanced and placed a new set of documents in Nikolai’s hands. The Emperor waved him off, and he retreated through the doors. Scanning the pages of intelligence reports from inside Ralkovia, he reached for the phone on the desk, and was connected to Emperor Bhalk of the Borman Empire.
“Your Excellency,” he said, “You’ve no doubt heard the news. I’m wondering, however, where this places us. It seems that we’ve succeeded in scaring away the rabble pounding on their door, but where do we go from here?”

The three Beatusian cruise ships continued on towards Ralkovia, to pick up their passengers. They would soon be arriving at their destination, and hopefully things would go well.

( Sort of ViZion. I'm shutting down the slave trade or at least planning on. My government has met in an emergency session. This pretty much just gives me a chance to think and do other homework)

“Barker! Update!” bellowed Williams as he stepped towards the middle-aged man.
Barker looked up from his console, streams of numbers, letters, and pictures running by. Clearing his throat he glanced once more at his screen before rattle off information.
“Well, all vessels are aircraft are running SONAR, RADAR, LIDAR, FLIR, MAD, and ELINT systems. Generian forces are pretty much working completely in tandem with our own, matching our actions and covering a lot more water than we were before. AWACS, ASW choppers, SONAR dippers, and FIA-69s are actively maintaining air superiority over our armada and continually patrolling the stretches of water uncovered by surface ships. They’ve dropped sonobuoy patterns in these areas and we were going to install hydrophones, but it seems with recent developments, that may not be necessary. Lynion has withdrawn their naval arm, citing troubles at home, and it seems most major resistance in subsiding. It also appears that Ralkovia is considering the offer from the government of ViZion.
“However, we are continuing submarine patrols, active in littoral waters and passive outside of. If anything tries to come through Ralkovia’s coast, submerged, surface, or otherwise, we’ll find it.”
“Excellent. Continue the good work. I’m expecting information from The Empire soon as to further orders.”
--------------------------------------------------------
Bhalk squinted his eyes, trying to concentrate on the mass of intelligence laid in front of him while speaking with Nikolai.
“Well Nikolai, best of men, first we light a cigar for our success. Then, we take another look at this matter. It’s an interesting development, a curious and well thought out end to this situation. However, as you no doubt know, it’s not all positive. Now, we here in The Empire love ViZion, they’re good allies we’ve shed blood for and with. However, it’s well known to you, and I, and President Kilo that ViZion and Borman don’t usually see eye to eye. In fact, we mostly don’t see eye to eye. While I want what’s best for my allies, The Borneric Empire of Uberness comes first. Further, since it would not count as a betrayal or abandonment of our ally, in fact, we'd be doing no harm to them and not even harming the spirit of our alliance, I think you and I may consider giving Ralkovia the same proposal. What do you think?”

Above Ralkovia...
The Belkan airships lifted off for the last time, heavier than they had landed. Thousands of new Belkans sat their converted interior storage bays, headed to an unknown fate. Each individual had been painstakingly screened for disease, detriment and defect, and all seated had passed the Belkan's examinations. The first several flights of carriers had left unmolested, and the ship's captains hoped that this flight would be as mundane. With news of the slave trade ending, and considering the naturalization and emancipation of purchased Ralkovians upon arrival in Belkaros, no one was particularly concerned, but nonchalance would not stop a foolish commander from launching SAMs. A message was dispatched from the convoy to the surrounding forces.
This is the final convoy of the Imperium of Belkaros. Our cargo is unarmed civilians, and we wish to leave peacefully. Thank you.

Thirty IMF transport ships, flanked by two ViZionarian Champion Class Supercarrier, two unmanned ViZionarian Ticonderoga-Class Cruisers, and one of ViZion's older Virginia-Class Battleships, the International Medical Foundation began its trek to Ralkovia in hopes of retrieving the civilians-turned-slaves.
