Greywatch

New Heaven:
The city was large, crowded, and bustling no matter the hour. The tall buildings glimmered in the evening sun, the sound of human activity could be heard below. It looked like any other city, the same sounds, smells, and sights. But this was no Greywatch city; this was New Heaven, Greywatch’s primary enemy. The two shared a shaky alliance at best, and even then it was not uncommon for there to be… conflicts. Luckily this friction was kept to a minimum, but that didn’t mean it was non-existent. The most watched for enemy of New Heaven was none other than the Forbidden Ministry. Many times, the two had nearly gone to war as a result of discovered spies, secret plots, and questionable organizations. Many times, New Heaven had found itself and its secrets under siege from the organization, the Forbidden Ministry. Two things kept New Heaven from declaring war: one was that the Forbidden Ministry was already known to be a non-Greywatch run organization that moved on its own accord. Second was that Greywatch was far bigger and far more powerful, the only way to bring down the alliance was to do something devastating, and make sure it hit as close to the heart as possible. New Heaven couldn’t afford to declare war on Greywatch and risk facing the entire alliance of races. And so, the Forbidden Ministry continued to be a thorn in New Heaven’s side…
New Heaven Intelligence Agency:
The sound of machinegun fire could be heard echoing through the hallways. A group of New Heaven guards were desperately trying to stop a FM agent. The agent was far more than they, or possibly anyone, could handle. It moved with grace, weaving in and out of the barrage of bullets, moving past each one of them effortlessly. One of the men stopped to reload and in that second he was struck down, a fist impacting with his chest with incredible strength and amazing speed, breaking through his light armor and sending him flying straight back. “By the Emperor-” one of the others was interrupted midsentence by a foot to his head. The foot drove his head into a wall with enough force to shatter the wall and the helmet, crimson liquid splashing all over the surface. The last soldier was just turning his weapon, trying to fire on the monster but before he could even get the chance the agent was already upon him. The foot came around from its kill and smashed into the side of the soldier’s neck, sending the limp body flying down the hallway. The agent straightened up after seeing the aggressors were all taken care of, too bad about the dead one. The Forbidden Ministry actually tried to keep the killing to a minimum so as not to enrage New Heaven even more, but sometimes one doesn’t know their own strength. The agent had already gotten what it had come for, information, important information at that.
Rooftop of Intel Agency:
The agent found its way to the roof, just the perfect place to be. It could already sense multiple reinforcements closing in on its location and immediately worked on establishing its exit. It pulled out a small spherical device shaped and threw it on the ground. The device began powering up and the agent waited. The reinforcements were getting close now, they were nearly to the roof, and the agent didn’t feel like fighting. Looks like the comms system wasn’t as weak as the agent thought, somehow an alert still got through. This would be annoying; chances were the reinforcements were elites, the kind of people who were actually good at their job. The agent knew its capabilities, it was meant for the weaker and unarmored targets, heavy armor and weapons wouldn’t make the situation any better. Especially annoying was the blood stained foot, which would lead the enemies straight to the roof. A door flew open and a man dressed in a sleek silver armor stepped out, golden eyes focused on the FM agent from behind the visor. “You Forbidden monsters have been a thorn in our side long enough! Prepare yourself, for you will be in the next world soon.” The man drew a sword with one hand and a large pistol with the other. The agent stayed silent and drew its own weapon, a curved dagger. Then, a beeping sound was heard and a rift opened behind the agent who took no time stepping through. The NH elite charged at this opening only for the rift to close, taking the agent with it. The elite cursed loudly before looking down, even the device was gone.
Two weeks later, Forbidden Ministry meeting, unknown location:
Two shadowy figures sat across from one another in the dark halls of some old, gothic structure. One of them wore a cloak, the other a suit of black armor.
“Are you aware of your task?” Came a whispering voice from the cloaked figure.
The armor nodded, “Yes, infiltrate and destroy.”
“You know how important this is?”
“Indeed I do.”
“Lives are at stake… and the Forbidden Ministry is also being threatened.”
“They will not get far. They will be destroyed.”
“You are aware of where you will be?”
“In the bowels… the depths… I will be careful, do not worry.”
“And your equipment?”
“I have everything I need. What I do not have, I will buy.”
“Your funds?”
“I’ve been paid well over the years, and I’ve saved my money. I have enough to buy a few mercenaries if need be.”
“Excellent, dismissed.” As the cloaked figure said this, the armor disappeared, leaving no trace of it ever being there.
So, this is essentially the intro to a thread I’ll be starting up soon, one that involves Greywatch’s underworld and, more importantly, gives a closer look at Greywatch’s Forbidden Ministry. For people who don’t know the what the FM is, you’ll learn as the thread goes along. For people would do know what the FM is and are interested about how it operates… well this may be a thread for you. This will mainly be character based and will be SMALL, I really only intend for there to be 2-3 people involve. (Whether this includes myself or not, depends…) Anyway, more details as to what should be expected will come later but it involves a developed city’s underworld, a secret operation, and other fun stuff. So… I guess a signup sheet is required?

Why are they here? (As if I can’t guess):
Tech they’ll be using (Advanced but not godly, please):
Oh yes… godmodding may be allowed in certain areas. This will typically be during the times I have stereotypical gangs of, well, pipe-wielding villains charge your chars. (I shit you not)
Oh right, people who already have reservations:

Alversia
Conserative Morality
Angenteria
This is now FULL.
