The Bulgislavian Party Of Labour was slowly splitting apart

It gained power after the turmail of August when the Stalinist Milencu government was overthorwn in an invasion. A provisional government took power which was made up of former Workers Party Members.

A small civil war ensued and chaos took hold of the country where Dinu Milencu, the adopted son of Irena and Ion Milencu took power with the "True" Bulgislavian Party of Labour to install true and just communism free from corruption.


Party membership quickly increased through september. The country was still in ruins and the population was mainly homeless from the destructive fighting but the people had genuine trust and faith in Dinu Milencu.

Bulgislavia was still quite a strict nation but Dinu said it would only be temporary while the country rebuilt.

Factions quickly showed up in the Bulgislavian Party of Labour

Essad Mençau was a VERY Fanatical member of the party who was inspired by what was done in Cambodia with Polpot. He believed that Bulgislavia needed to start from year zero. He also said that the invasion already started the Year Zero revolution up by destroying most of civilization in Bulgislavia. There the party could demolish the remaining cities and start from the beginning

Yegar Lemcov was labled a "Prekovist" for his reformist thoughts and was banned from the Workers Party when the Milencu's came to power in the May 8th Coup. He joined the Party Of Labour in the hope that it would institute reformist policies

............................................Stalinist Faction ............................
Many in the Stalinist faction still have deep loyalties and a sympathetic feeling to the olf Milencu government. They are for a more powerful state and more powers for the leaders of Bulgislavia. Returning to the straight jacket society of the Milencu Era Alia Maliniev leads this faction

Mehmet Çeau and Humar Maneci lead this faction of people nostalgic for the old days under the leadership of Yegar Provoçe. They say Bulgislavia was a pure and great socialist paradise under just one stronge ruler such as Yegar Provoçe and the country had a clear direction

......................................Moderates......................................
Dinu Milencu is seen as the real force behind the Moderate Faction that just want to develope peacefully without being so militaristic. They also believe harsh rules are only temporary and Dinu has said Reforms could come us early as 2013. Becuase of the economic deprivation and growing sentiments for militarism from the people the only thing popular about the moderates if Dinu Milencu

In an imporatnt meeting in the Hall of the Party Dinu gave a speech to the 230 member Central Committe. He said there will be NATIONAL ELECTIONS in which the "good people of Bulgislavia" will vote in members of the communist party and it will form the composition of the Central Committee and Communist Party.


(OOC: People just vote for one of the factions to see who and which faction will have the main driving force in Bulgislavian politics for the future)

(OOC: Just pretend you are a citizen casting your vote to make up the Communist Party. Depending on thier popularity one of the factions will have dominance in government. Its really just to make up the composition of the communist party. For example when the pole is finished ther Stalinists might have 50% power in government and the Reformers 50% etc....)

All the factions began campaigning for the support of the people except one. The Fanatics wanting to destroy all technology and return to year zero did not campaign. They knew they would be unpopular. Instead they terrorized and harrased the people using thugs. But they werent a powerful faction.

Mehmet Çeau and Humar Maneci were by far the popular cadidates. Organizing mass rallies with help from the policemen and some soldiers

"What we need is a return to the great days under Comrade Yegar Provoçe. He is dead but he is in all of our memories. We need a young Yegar Provoçe to lead Bulgislavia on its right path. We must break will the recent turmoil the country has suffered. make a fresh start and build the country Provoçe style for another 46 years!" said Mehmet Çeau triumphantly to applause and chanting with Humar Maneci standing beside him clapping

The Stalinists were quite unpopular. They wanted a return to the old Milencu style of rulling and that bad memories generated from that time were still fresh in thier memories.

Meanwhile Dinu confessed that he was not interested in ruling the country and that he would resign no matter what faction gained power and possably emmigrate to another socialist nation and live the rest of his life in obscurity. He seemed very dissilusioned with politics.
Not to mention Dinu received news that his Psycotic brother had taken cyanide tablets and killed himself in the backseat of his Limo while on his way back into Bulgislavia. Even though they were not blood related Dinu was upset that he had not lost all of his links to his adoptive family

THE NATIONAL ELECTIONS ARE FINISHED

The Bulgislavian Party of Labour now had an entirly different composition

Mehmet Çeau the main dirving force behind his faction along with his political ally Humar Maneci have done a deal to absorb the stalinist party members into the Pro-Provoçe faction.

The Final Composition of the Communist Party is this

91.66% of party members are supporters of a return to a Provoçe type era under the leadership of Mehmet Çeau and Humar Maneci

8.33% of party members are supporters of the Moderate Faction led by Dinu Milencu. They are a weak leadership and Dinu has declared his intentions to resign no matter who one. This would lead to this faction collapsing with no strong leadership at all.

In the hall of the party the newly elected Central Committee of 230 members were sitting in the main debating chamber all facing a stage.

Mehmet Çeau walked up to the podium

Everyone in the hall stood and began clapping in unison. Humar Maneci was in the front row enthusiastically clapping to the rythem of everyone else in the Hall

"Thankyou, thankyou" Started Mehmet

"Thankyou to the good working people of Bulgislavia that have truly expressed thier will in a free election. It has shown that the good Bulgislavian people want a return to the great days under the late Comrade Yegar Provoçe. We will return to these days. Everything will return as they were. There will be stability, no outside interference, true party power and we will return to the path of building communism!"

The party then stood again to clap in unison then they all sat down
Mehmet Backed off and freed up the podium where Dinu stepped up to speak

"I congradulate you on the election victory. It is clear what the people desire and here I announce my resignation, Thankyou"
Dinu stepped back and gave a bow. He then left the chamber.

Immediatly he applied for a plane ticket where he would spend the rest of his life in obscurity in another socialist nation

Mehmet began to speak again

"The entire country must be restructured, yes evrything is a mess but the people have faith in us and we will prevail. A General Secretary will be elected to a 5 year term by the central committee by January and he will appoint a president. Until that time I will take care of the government and nation to look after all the details up until we are safe and secure thankyou"

The Party once again stood to clap in unison and chant thier new leader. Mehmet stood waving at the Hall of 230 people, stoping breifly to push back his dark black hair.

Despite all the turmoil in the recent months the BPL managed to re-establish the efficient Cigouriva. Under Dinu critics were harrased but never tortured or murdered. They were in some instances arrested. Mehmet Çeau and Humar Maneci knew if they were to return to the good old days of the Provoçe Era they would need to expand the Cigouriva to when it was rumoured 1 in 4 citizens spied for Cigouriva

It would also have to get more brutal.
One of the first laws Mehmet made was to seal the borders outright.
It would now be Illegal to leave the country and it would be banned for foriegners to enter without approval. Tourism would cease to exist once more.
The Penalty for denying this law would be torture and execution.

Leseçearno opened up as the Cigouriva HQ once again in Terevesti. They patrolled the shanty towns in armed squads (Shanty towns becuase most of the buildings in the country were destroyed in the Turmoil)

Mehmet told Humar that they must be unflinching in thier determination to return to the stability and conformity of the Provoçe Era.

Mehmet believed that in the first few months the brutal crimes should not be hidden from the people. Fear would keep the people in line. Cattle trucks filled with the bodies of dissidents were to be driven around the city for all to see before being dumped. When Party power is fully established and is stabalized only then will they take measures to hide the crimes of the Government and Cigouriva.

Portraits of Both Humar and Mehmet were made where they would be replicated thousands of times to be placed throughout Bulgislavia. The Cult of Provoçe would return but not on the scale as it was when he was alive. The Cult of Mehmet would grow. It would not be forced on the people all at once but grow year by year. The Party propagandists had plans for this.

Mehmet was only 42 years old and his supporters believed he could survive to the age of 89 easily giving 47 years of Mehmet Çeau rule over Bulgislavia. Humar Maneci was 35 years old. 7 years Mehmets Junior he would be ready to take on the position as acting leader if Mehmet was away or unable to govern.
