Greetings fellow nation I am Duke Vernius Viceroy of Cascadia's Outer Territories and His Imperial Majesty's Foreign Minister. His Majesty would like all to know of the Cascadia's commitment to peace with all other nations; and His Majesty's Declaration of perpetual neutrality with regards to regional conflicts.

Internally The Empire of Alaskan Cascadia is an absolute monarchy though some might view this as a negative the Emperor holds the civil rights of his beloved subjects in the highest regard. freedoms of speech and of the press have been granted by his Majesty indefinitely and the services of healthcare and education are paid for from the personal fortune of the Emperor. However His Imperial Majesty will never allow the peace and tranquility of the Empire to threatened by the chaos of democracy it is his enlightened opinion that a million voices all clamoring for individual goals is the root of war and barbarism a nation needs the assurance of one voice and one vision
working for the betterment of the people to survive and grow

In return for the his generosity all citizens aged 16 and over are required to preform military service. 10 years active and 20 years in the reserves for commoners. during the active period commoners will receive a higher education at the expense of the Emperor. Military service commitments for those of noble birth are for life
and heads of the great houses shall be required to lead the armies of the empire
should the need arise.

Economically Cascadia is a mixed economy Free enterprise is encouraged but corporate interest is subject to oversight by the throne, further His Imperial Majesty holds the means of production and transportation as his personal possessions meaning that a car company may operate as a private business but its factories are leased from his majesty and the trucks and ships used for transportation of goods are similarly leased from the imperial household

We welcome the Empire of Alaskan Cascadia to the world stage, and would like to extend our congratulations to your wise choice of political system. We have noted that our two nations seem to have similar opinions on many issues, especially regarding the dangers of democracy. It is our opinion that the monarchies of the world should work together, economically and politically, to better defend ourselves from agressive democracies that try to spread 'freedom, what we call chaos and anarchy, at any cost. Therefore, we would like to meet with Alaskan Cascadian government officials, to discuss trade and, if you so wish, mutual defence. As a first goodwill gesture, the Emperor and the Imperial Council has decided to remove tariffs on goods coming from Alaskan Cascadia. We hope you respond in kind.

The tiny nation of Alaskan Cascadia has opened its borders and announced wishes of peace and unity with other nations of the world. The announcement was made today by Foreign Minister Duke Vernius Viceroy on behalf of the King. International reception was mixed as the announcement alienated democratic nations by saying, “…it is the King’s enlightened opinion that a million voices all clamoring for individual goals is the root of war and barbarism a nation needs the assurance of one voice and one vision” and that democracy threatens the peace an tranquility of their empire. The office of the Prime Minister of Karshkovia issued a statement saying that at this time, it was not feasible to open negotiations with a nation that demonized the voice of the people.

The Emperor is pleased by your generous offers of friendship His Majesty is preparing a personal reponse telegram and hopes to commence formal diplomatic relations very soon.
He also regrets that some nations mistake the INTERNAL positions of the Empire as a critique on their political system.

Lastly HIM Hadrianus IV while realizing the newness of his empire wishes to hold a summit of all the ruling royal houses of the the world It is his belief that a closely allied council of the worlds noble houses can set an example of peace and effective government
