(OOC:To people from the StarTrek RP I am in, you will understand this better)

After a flash of light 7 huge ships exit transwarp, the last great battle between the Terran Empire faction against the Terran Republic was lost and this was all that remained of a Legacy.

The last Emperor had vanished, the adopted ThroneWorld on Regulus on be taken and in a deseperate attempt to survive the terror the Empire sent 7 million colonist to move as far away from Terran Space as possible.

They were approx 250 years travel from Earth, but the months at transwarp at almost burnt out the deflectors, weapons systems were out of power and the warp cores had to be jettison before they exploded under the huge pressure.

There was only one warship with the Fleet, a old Excelsior Class Vessel named the ISS:Eternity but yet again it would need extensive repairs before it was battle ready.

It scanners detect a Class-M world a short distance away, it was not awfully pleasant not enough green to support a population over say 2 billion but for the current situation the Imperial Citizens had no choice but to land.

A man walks into the bridge of the Eternity, a young man yet weird enough Admiral Ranks badge was on his shoulder. This was Admiral Regent of the Terran Empire and was under orders from the Emperor himself to assure that a seed of the Empire survived to one day reek vengence on the people that pushed them away.

"damage report Ensign" he said to another young officer at the helm

"Weapons are down, warpcore had to be jettison before it exploded and replicators are offline"

The Communications officer turns around "The colony ships are awaiting orders"

Regent turns to the science officer "What can you tell me about the planet"

"Class-M but barely, three continents and multiple small islands....signs of early life with no sensors detecting large mammals. Infact we have found a World very early in it's evolutionary history"

"Where does that leave us?"

"Admiral, considering the situation we have no choice...but the ecosystem is delicate and we would be better trying to make the impact smaller"

"What do you mean?"

"I suggest founding multiple colonies on the planet at onice, wide spread to try and stop a ecosystem collapse that can be caused by a large single colony"

It was done, the ships lands all over the planet and a week later 7 new settlements were founded with one actually being founded on the moon of the planet.

New Berlin-named after one of the few cities that the Klingon-Cardassion Alliance barely touched in there rampage across the Earth, mostly populated by a Mix of Terrans and Andorians. population of 600,000

New Sydney-Named after one of the cities of Earth with the highest Pro-Imperialist population, a completely Terran Colony with a population of 400,000

Mort Republica-Name needs no explanation, this population is still mostly Terran it's small with a population of 100,000

Renegade-Named because of yet againts anti-republic feeling, it's a mix of Terran, Vulcan and Andorian the second largest colony of 800,000 people living on the Island

Nova Vulcan-Home to most of the Vulcan population, it's a very different place where Vulcan culture thrives in the middle of a Terran Dominated world it has a population of 700,000

Eternity-The capital of the new 'Terran Empire' but with barely a real influence outside the fact it's the home of the crew to the only warship in the sector, it's completely Terran with a population of 1.2 million

Another million of the Population is in other small settlments around the world and the population of the Moon called simply 'Defense-1' has a population of 100,000

The Terran Empire is not really a Empire, it lacks infrastructure and any form of real government. They are the Rouge Nation of Terrans who wanted to cling to a past glory that nobody wanted.

The only thing keeping these defeated people strong and united is there common hatred to the Terran Republic and it's 'Federation' and like always of the Imperial Terrans the firm belief that it's there good given right to control everyone under there heel.

At the moment they are weak, there entire society has to restart from scratch in the vain hope that one day they can return to Earth and take there rightful place as the true rulers of the Quadrant.

There hope now was to find allies that will help them better there situation, form trade and alliances to help the Empire re-gain it's former glory.

Somewhere Beneath the Surface of the Planet

That's the thing with planet's they're rarely purely virgin. Some random person had set foot on their before and left, either by choice, by force or by death. Most of the time the planet forgets they were ever there and get's busy with other tasks. But somethings leave a scar on the planet, something that remains buried inside. Like a splinter or growth that keeps reminding the planet of those that lived there before and the things that they did. Some times the planet continues on just as it always had done, sometimes the planet dies, and others very rarely start all over again.

That's what happened with this one, buried underneath the lush exterior and the fragile Ecosystem, this planet had a scar, a secret buried deep within. A wound that needed healing. They were going to find it, the planet would make sure that happened, but it was a question of what they'd do with it once they found it. Would the Terran Empire be re-born? or would something else happen? That was all upto the people who found it, or perhaps those who took possesion of it.

Just near one of the settlements there was a strange metallic object buried underground and with it one could find something that might alter the lives for everyone, on the planet, the moon, and perhaps who knows else where. It started broadcasting a beacon as if by random announcing it's prescence.

OOC: It's going to be a gift... 1. To help you defend against any unprovoked attacks 2. To act as plot device to help give your planet at least some sort government 3. To act as a catalyst for proper interaction with TGM later on.

(OOC: Man this posts is long)

The ‘Governor’ of New Sydney awoke with a startle from his glorified Tin Shack with the beeping from the nearby console.

“Captain Jacob, we have readings of a beacon in the mountain ranges nearby…it’s not Terran or Alliance and in fact is not even from any documented species in the databanks. What are your orders?”

“Send a away team to check it out, also Contact the Admiral in Eternity since he will want to know all about this and try to make sure the civilians do not find out since the last thing we need is for them to panic over nothing”

As much as the beacon was not ‘nothing’ the last thing these people needed for to doubt coming here, the Terran Empire was still very Xeno-Phobic towards unknown races and would mostly take this is a threat to it’s security.

The Admiral after getting the message walks out of his ‘house’ with rows of Metal structures as far as the eye can see, farming settlements had been founded and with great care they had introduced some Earth natives to the environment mostly bird life and other small mammals.

The main Government centre was having it’s foundations laid out and plans were being drafted to strip shuttles and turn them into Repair vehicles. There only chance of defending this planet was the ISS:Eternity.

This beacon could be a blessing as it might contain some history on the sector that could help the Empire expand when the time finally came to rise from the ashes, something like a Star chart would help them.

He told them to go ahead with the Away Team and as he turns around to see the banner of the Terran Empire that was hanging on his wall had fallen down because of the storm last night sadness came across his face.

---Alien Beacon, East of the New Sydney colony---

“What do you detect Solan?” said the Commander

“Metallic that’s what I know, I cant quite scan the layout of the object to much rock is surrounding it. we might need a digging tea…..”

The Commander pulls out her phaser and shoots a hole into the ground, then takes out a Grenade and places it inside.

“I suggest we walk away” she said

They run for cover and when the explosion occurs Solan looks at the Commander in frustration, not a good thing to make an Andorian.

“You idiot, you could have destroyed the object”

“It was only low yield, no way it could of damaged the object just enough to move the Rock and Dirt”

They walk towards the hole and find the object at the bottom of the crater

Solan yet again pulls out his tri-corder and scans it quickly

“Alien?” said the commander

“No way it’s a natural anomaly or native, I suggest we load it onto the Shuttle in order to research it properly”

“We going to need to take it to the Eternity, it has the nearest thing to a Science Lab”

About 4 hours later the Object was on the starship, with what there was of a Science team examining it. All they were worried about was making sure it was not a weapon, but if Aliens had laid claim to this world the Terrans could find themselves in allot of trouble before they had even began re-building.

"So your saying we could try and send a message on this frequency" the Admiral said

"Perhaps, you see this is meant to get attention in theroy we might be able to send a message" this was Science Officer Solan, he was put in-charge of the project because he was the most senior of the 20 scientists in the whole population that did not specialised in some sort of weapon science.

"So you want me to send a message to a unknown alien species asking them if they want to play friends or not when we do not even have one working weapon in the whole colony"

"No, what we do is we send say a trick message"

"As in?"

"Well when the Empire was first formed after WW2, allied command had created tools to hide Submarines it was a stupid idea but they played whale songs on high frequency in hope that would hide the sound of the Engine turbines from spinning"

"Great idea, so you just admitted your genius idea was stupid"

"No, what we do is send some sort of natural sound over the Signal...."

"Like?"

"Permission to send a fake signal back on frequency"

"Do it, hopfully if your right they will just send some poor small scout vessel to check it out"

that was it, they transmitted the sounds of a cat over the frequency in hope it would trigger some sort of result in the beacon.

The beacon responded, a low hum emitted out from it, as the frequency it emitted on shut down. It was no longer a beacon... it was something else. The object cracked. There was no other way to describe it, portions of it's exterior fell away while what was inside re-organised itself.

From generic almost formless shape, something was taking form. The exterior components were picked up and incorporated into this new design that was taking shape before their eyes. There was lots of noise as the metal grinded against metal as it finally took shape. It ended up being roughly humanoid in ship. Legs, arms, head and torso - Though it was obviously mechanical and a dull grey in colour.

With a blast of pressure being released from inside it's arms, both of them, the last thing happened in it's transformation, the front part where you'd expect the hands to be fell away. What was there were obviously a kind of weapon, exactly what it was unknown but it didn't fire, it didn't move it. It didn't do anything further, it just sat there. As if waiting for something to happen.

The three guards aim there phasers at the machine, they had never seen anything like this before.
Solan looked amazed, simply stunned at what had just taken place and the Admiral was looking calm but small signs show his anxiety.

"You do realise the last thing we need is a robot with weapons in the Ship!" he yelled

Solan walked up and felt it, it was still practically the same material but had in a way reformed into this shape with no complications and in his 40 years working in Imperial Physics he had never seen anything like this before.

Then for some reason known to himself he started to speak

"This is Science Officer Solan of the ISS:Eternity please state your intentions on this planet, where do you hail from?"

By now the Admiral had ordered several more soldiers into the room pointing there Phaser Rifles at the threat ready to fire.
He repeated the same sentence in Vulcan, Andorian, Romulan and Klingon in a attempt to hopfully find on it understands.

A few generic beeps where generated before it spoke. "Languages Identified: Terran, Vulcan, Andorian, Romulan and Klingon. Orders to defend planet and all personnel on planet from invasion by hostile forces. Designation: TL-211. Current Objective: Identify Local Command Structure."

It repeated the phrase in all languages Identified, taking longer than than was necessary but ensuring that those that were around knew exactly what it was saying. It was quite repetative until it stopped, he had communicated what it needed and returned to it's waiting state, if it was to acheive it's objective it would need to understand who was in charge.

They honestly didnt know what to say, sure in theroy the Admiral was in control of the colony but things have been running so independently since they landed that it was simply not true.

They know they would have to declare a government sooner or later but at the moment they are still mourning for Terran Space and our original ThroneWorld of Mars.

Naturally the Emperor was ruler of us but he went missing during the last battle and is thought to be dead or in hiding, they knew they had to select a new Emperor sooner or later but they wish for there position to be a bit stronger before they even thought of doing that.

The question infact raised the question in the young Admirals head, the colony needs some form of united Government to run them because at this rate the other cities might become powerful enough to form splinter groups to try and break away from the Empire or possibly form there own and with this he replied.

"I am Admiral Regent of Imperial Starfleet, I am the leader of this Colony. We have not yet got around to setting up a formal Government..now who sent you here?"

Information request, This information is unavailable, information unnecessary for the successful complession of the mission, awaiting orders."

It's large metallic frame stood eerily still as it re-counted it's analysis of the current situation, It didn't have the information requested, and it didn't seem to matter.

The Admiral was growing impatient with the robot.

"I order you to tell me where you hail from, otherwise il order my men to..." Solan looked at him and them shouted

"Dont be a fool, this thing is ready to attack last thing we need is to push it further" he takes out a tri-corder and starts scanning for any energy in its weapons, it seems like it was processing something but he could not tell...if it was awaiting orders it could mean trouble.

"Now, where do you come from droid?" Solan said calmly.

The soldiers were still ready to fire at the first sign of trouble, but at this rate they were not sure if there weapons would be any good.

"Who created you and sent you to this world?"

"Unable to comply with order, requested information not in databanks. My purpose is to defend the planet and it's residents from hostile forces. Primary weapons atmospheric piercing Plasma Cannon for assault against orbital threats, hi-explosive munitions for atmospheric and ground-based threats. Secondary Weapons Auto-Cycling High Velocity Projectile Launchers and External Chassis Contact. Chassis and shielding plates made out of a hardened Neutronium metal alloy to with stand extreme forces from impact of kinetic or energy-based weapons. Scan of the Head of the Command Structure permanently imprinted into the TL-211 write once memory cells. Head of Command Structure identified as Admital Regent. Current Mission: To quell rebellion against the Command structure and re-unite all residents under the command structure. Current Recomendation: Application of Lethal Force. Current Status: Waiting for Orders to achieve current mission."

The robot verbosely responded to the order for information, unable to provide the information that was requested it provided all the information that it could to the man it would ultimately obey. It would also obey anyone who it had determined to be under his direct command should it deem the order consitant with the current mission.

The tri-corders would detect that the metal was indeed an alloy but any attempts to identify the exact alloy would fail, there was a major power supply in it's right arm presumably for the 'Plasma Cannon', but none of the weapons where immediately ready to fire.

"I dont think we quite need that, the disunity is because we are simply trying to re..."

The Admiral cut Solan off, a deadly look of interest on his face

"Not so fast, I wonder if your programining can let you help us make repairs to the eternity since without a starship there is no reason for the other captains to fully cooperate. This ship has lost weapons, Warp capability and also we have lost use of replicators which we are going to need if we are to adopt a non-existant currency. Only systems working is scanners and impulse which will do us no good"

Then he continues with a small smirk

"If we can repair the ship, the Imperial Captains will have no right to question my leadership or try and breakaway"

Solan looked fearful, the reason the Admiral got the position so young is because he was a old school Imperial. He killed to get a promotion literally and next to Admiral John Samuel this was the best the Empire had to offer.

The Emperor wanted another leader to run this operation but he had no choice as the Imperial Parliament voted for Regent without hesitation, poor Emperor Perseus he tried to hard to keep the Empire from re-verting to the old ways.

On the outskirts of the system, space suddenly distorted. Folding inwards on itself, the stars twisted and flexed... and then were blocked, as a small ship took its place. Barely 100m long, the small ship looked sleek. Built for speed not for war. It was entirely devoid of markings, except for a small flag and the letters T.S.S. Ethereal Triton painted on one side.

Inside the cockpit, 2 figures sat. Checking various screens, they made their initial readings.

"System looks normal... S-Class star... average planet mix... One habitable even."

"Anything picking up on the long range scan?"

"checking..... no. Nothing."

The second figure leaned back in the chair. "Well, nothing much to do then but start the survey. Might as well get this done."

"Yes captain. We sh-- wait. Something on the long range" The figure shifts to better read the viewscreen. "Can you get us in closer?"

--------------------

The ship slowly moved closer to the planet. Taking up an orbit around the small moon, it began examining the small cities on the planets surface.

"They're not in the database sir. We have nothing that matches this architecture. Does that mean...?"

"Yes. Yes it does. Call the diplomat. This just became a first contact mission"

Nodding, the first figure tapped a few buttons before rising and moving back farther into the ship. Now automated, the message began broadcasting down to the planet.

This is the Terran Star Ship Ethereal Triton.

"Negative... There are no engineering modules installed, all modules have a direct purpose in defense of this planet and it's personnel from hostile forces."

"Attention... a new spaceship has entered the system, they have attempted to make contact. Activating emergency defense program, readying Plasma Cannon. Alert Status: High. Ship is out of range, ready to fire upon order once ship is in range. For safety of inhabitants a minimum of 2 meters distance must be kept away from the TL-211 at all times while Alert Status is high. Estimated Time until unknown ship is in range of firing is 30 minutes.*"

The energy started to pike the Plasma cannon became ready to fire, the arm moved to a roughly overhead pattern.

"Due to planetary rotation TL-211 must re-locate to a new position in 10 minutes and 13 seconds to keep optimal targeting parameters."

* - I'm not really sure of just how fast NM's ships are moving... but Due to the nature of the beast it doesn't have a very long range. But it would be in range orbiting around the planet. I just fluid timed back abit so that it could respond 'appropratly'

The Scanners on the ISS: Eternity start flickering like crazy, as what as left of there power scanned where the signal was coming from.

The Admiral enters the bridge and after hearing the message starts to think of the course of action.

"Whats the statistics on that ship Ensign?"

"Similar to what they say there mission is, weapons are not threatening but I do suggest that we make contact because we have no choice because we have no weapons to fire anyway so that fact they are armed at all makes us screwed"

"Raise shields, open audio communications and stop with sarcasium"

"Link opened"

This is Admiral Regent of the Imperial Starfleet ship Eternity, our intentions in this system is none hostile and by your scans you can tell we are in no shape to harm you.

We are all that is left of the Imperial Terrans from the sol system, all we wish is to be able to rebuild and repair. Since we have no official government building suitable for talks please board my vessel, it's a bit beaten and broken but we are trying our best to repair it.

He could not afford any battle to breakout since he hadn't the ability to defend his ship and the Eternity was the only way he could keep control of the cities below.

When he used the robot to gain complete control of the world below he can start working on constructing Shipyards and other military structures.

The ship slowly began its journey across the dark side of the moon. Thanks to the 3 sensors it had deployed on its way in, it could still examine the planet without needing to be directly in view.

"I'm seeing... typical city build... very few high power structures that I can see. It looks just like the comm said. Almost no military installations to speak of... nothing that even remotely looks like a weapon"

The first figure nodded. "Move to dock with their ship. Then notify the diplomat and........ 4 marines. I'll go with while you stay here and watch the sensors. I don't want any surprises..."

The ship moved out of the dark side... moving slowly into view from the planets surface...

The Admiral requested alone time with the robot, Solan knew it was not a good sign.

"I have a mission for you, you see every city here in controlled by a ex-captain of Imperial Starfleet. There is only 2 that can challenge my right to control this world"

He takes out a pipe and starts to smoke

"I need you to kill Govenor Soruk of Nova Vulcan and Govenor Harris of the Defense1 colony on the moon. We have a Vuture class fighter in the hanger that will allow you to travel between the colonies. They have hindered my attempts to call a Imperial Assembly and if I am to start talks to unite this world then I need them taken care of"

He then smiles

"If you have some problem killing them in your programing then I'm afraid your lack of knowledge on how things work in the Empire might lower how useful you are"

With this machine in his hands he could proclaim himself the new Emperor within weeks or possibly days and he could not miss out a opportunity like that.

As for repairs they will have to be done more slowly, ISS: Eternity will not be battle ready for another 2 months at this rate. The Admiral then walks off to meet the new arrivals in the hanger, he decided if a fight did break out he would sadly have to use the 24 Vulture Fighters he had in the spread out hangers around the colony.

"Emergence Defense program overridden. New orders received... Executing Orders. Mission: Kill instigators of rebellion, Status: Locating Airborne Transportation."

It paused for a moment "Scanning..." "Vulture-class Airborne Transportation located."

It headed off, moving for the first time with a slow determined movement, it walked slightly awkwardly and it didn't move at that fast but it certainly had strong defenses and powerful weaponry.

Whirring noises accompaning every movement with a sound as if metal was scraping against metal. It didn't speak another word brushed through the entrance and headed directly to the Hanger that the Vulture was located, it wasn't in anyway subtle as a strange lumbering hulk of a machine paraded it's self on it's mission apparently unaware of something called tack or subtlety.

Repairs continue on the Eternity and also the construction of what was to become the head government centre on the planet was going to be finished in another 3 months.

They had managed to repair 3 Industrial Replicators, which has allowed for more resources to be allowed to the public, things like Statues and theatres started to appear around the cities and other signs of Imperial Culture.

Slowly wild creatures on the vessel named 'ISS: ARC' were slowly being released into the wild the ones staying onboard spent there time on modified holographic decks.

Tailors were being hired to make the imperial clothing of who was decided to be Emperor, while the Imperial Soldiers trained up getting ready for the day they get the chance to fight in glorious combat for the Empire.

A reply comes back, from ICA Officer Regent (Imperial Communications Advisor)

"This is the Imperial Starfleet vessel the ISS: Eternity, please state your intentions in this system"

It was quick and order like, typical Empire when it comes to first communications. The last Emperor tried to stamp out the Xeno-Phobic and Ignorant attitude of the Terran Empire, he did manage to do so with the younger generation but sadly Jerald was hitting 60 and being part of the ICA he is very much old school.

Nice to meet you,

We scouted this system some time ago and had selected it as a suitable location for a temporary base for operations, of course in the current situation precludes this but we have a number of things we would like to discuss with your leadership.

---
"Who are these people, anyway?" the captain still annoyed at the total stuff up that lost them a good security drone an what seemed a decent workable planet.

"No idea sir... nothing in the databanks, though the 'I' keeps popping up, could be Imperial."

"Well, that narrows it down to half known universe." he snippily replied.

"So, what are you planning on doing?"

"Well, let's just wait and see... oh, wait, what races do we have in security?"

"Only humans..."

"Okay, well, get Dino, Lax and that annoying brute some kind of weaponry make them look the part of security."

Dino, Lax and "that annoying Brute" more commonly known as Dan were very not human and quite different from each other. Dino was quite lizard like and looked like he came from the Cretacious period, Lax well no one was sure exactly what Lax was, he didn't have arms (he never had any) but his feet doubled as hands. And Dan was more like "The Thing" from that old comic book series known as Fantastic Four.

The group were getting ready, A bit pre-emptive but at least when the call came through they'd be all ready.

ISS Eternity, this is TSS Ethereal Triton. We are beginning our approach.
Please advise as to vector.

The small scout ship moved in closer. Muffled clatters were heard in the back of the ship as the small marine guard equipped themselves. A helmet popped into the pilots cabin.

"We're ready when you are. Team is awaiting deployment at the back hatch"

The first pilot nodded. Turning to his counterpart, he stood.

Jerald replied to both.

First to the garbage men

"You are cleared to send a shuttle or something similar into the read docking bay, we would be...pleased to meet your people"

Naturally it was a act, but the Admiral was not completely old school and ignoring aliens because they are aliens dont cut it in the current circumstances. They need alliances and trading partners.

Then he replied to the Ethereal Titan

"Please land on the rear docking bay, Admiral Regent will be there to greet both you and the others"

There was good news from repairs, shields were back online and phasers were at 5% strength. Replicators were still offline but they had finally managed to transfer a Warpcore out of different parts from the colony ships, Since the colony ships were scraped for parts for the settlements so there was no point just chucking them away.

This meant they were only capable of about warp 6 but in the current circumstances that did not matter.

Onboard Sith frigate Deathcry, currently on scouting mission

Captain Athar sat in her chair, her hands steepling together as she reviewed the data. A system close by had recently gone very active. One of their many sensor drones had been deployed to the system after spatial disturbances and mass shadow appearances had been detected. And now, within the past few minutes, two more had been found. It was time to go in and investigate, although she had to be careful. She wasn't about to throw away her ship and crew as if they were nothing; that was a stupid waste of good soldiers and material. That, and she'd be flayed alive by her superiors if she survived. Turning to the bridge officers, she barked out an order.

"Initiate hyperdrive and take us into the system. A fair distance from the source and have shields and weapons systems hot. I want to be prepared for anything."

"Yes, Captain." The generators took in power greedily and began to warp up. Calculations flowed with great speed down the screen of the navigation officer until they formed into a solid line of coordinates. The generators reached full power and the office pulled the lever down for the ship, causing the starlines to become streaks as they rushed into hyperspace. A blue tunnel with a void at the end greeted their eyes. Athar sat back in her chair and waited for the ride to end, and to see what was on the other side.

***********

Surprising the other ships in the area, the Sith frigate (http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwars/images/b/b5/Praetorian-class.jpg) shot into view as it came out of hyperspace. Sensor data began to scroll down the screens and it took in the sight of the crippled Terran ships, the single Terran Empire ship and the Garbage Men ship. Her eyes narrowed as she saw the ships around the planet.

"Status report."

One of the officers spoke up. "It would appear a colony of sorts has been started up by the damaged ships in sector A-thirty one. It is flourishing quite well, with several cities. They, along with the two other ships, are unknown to us. Orders?"

She leaned forward. "Have the interceptor pilots put on full alert and open a channel, wide beam."

"Yes ma'am."

A beeping noise sounded when it was ready and she began to speak.

"This is Captain Athar of the Sith frigate Deathcry. We detected several transmissions from this system while on a scouting mission and have come to investigate. We do not intend any harm, but we will not hesitate to defend ourselves if attacked."

Jerald was taken back by the calm yet threatening tone of the new arrivals, but yet again he was in no shape to argue or try and prove a point. The Eternity had barely any weapons and shields were only working at 60% there was little chance of 'intending' anyone harm since even a drunk guy with a phaser was better armed them the Eternity.

"We intend nobody any harm, by what you can probably tell we are in no shape to harm anyone even if it was our intentions. This is the Imperial Starfleet vessel the ISS: Eternity, we are on a mission of survival and endurance"

"Ah there we go, confirmation of a second ship close in to the system. Readings indicate that they are not of the same technology base. obvious ship from a different nation."

"Damnit, alright, why do these guys have to be so popular! Alright inform them we're coming into orbit and a dropship will deploy a delegation as directed. Though there's something about his reply that I don't like. That pause... as if he was wanted to say something else."

The message was sent it was a simply short succinct message and the TGMS SCD 221 headed towards the planet.

Soon enough the sensors picked up detecting the Sith ship.

"Damnit, I thought there was only meant to be 2 of those... nevermind."

"Those Sith have a such a lovely naming style."

"Oh, shut it and them a message."

Sith Frigate Deathcry,

This is TGMS SCD 221, of The Garbage Men. We would love to discuss issues revolving around the removal of any ... waste for the Sith.

The Triton was just settling into the bay. The first pilot had just enough time to yell before the rear hatch lowered. "Send a response, don't piss them off!!"

To the Sith Frigate Deathcry

This is the Terran Star Ship Ethereal Triton. We are a scout
ship of the Terran Empire. We mean no harm to anyone.

Aboard the ISS Eternity

The rear hatch in the scout ship slowly lowered. 4 Terran Marines (http://warhistorian.org/images/starship_troopers_large_05.jpg) exited the ship, scanning the bay, weapons pointed at the floor. After a quick check, 2 more figures exited. One wearing a pilots uniform with only a pistol on his leg, the other unarmed wearing a long black trench coat and an officers cap.

The marines took a knee once off the ramp, while the pilot and the officer walked forward to greet the Admiral

The Admiral has a honest face about him, years of fighting againts the Terran Federation to reclaim former glory had no hurt his spirit. He put his hand over his short black hair to keep it down and luckily his face was not covered in the scars typical of a man of his position.

The hanger was bustle of activity, wires had been taken out of the walls and being put back together. So much damage was done by the long use of Transwarp, it was a experimental technology and the ship wasnt designed for it.

"I am Admiral Regent, I am the nearest thing we have to a Figurehead. Welcome to my ship the ISS: Eternity was not exactly the jewel of the imperial fleet but when repaired it will hopfully do it's job as guardian"

He puts out his hand

"We come from Terran Space, may I ask what is the ancestry of your Terran Empire? We come from Earth...well whats left of a Earth"

He did not sound sad when he said this, why should he? when the Klingon-Cardassion Alliance conquered the old Empire they destroyed all major cities on Earth and boiled all the water causing the near detruction of the eco-system.

Earth was there homeworld which the old Empire failed to protect, but the hundred years of slavery afterwards simply made them glad to have a world to call home and terraforming was restoring it to it's previous condition.

The officer removed his hat and takes the admirals hand. "I am Polkovnik Molotov. I am the resident diplomat which accompanies the Ethereal Triton in case of contact with a new nation such as this."

The pilot nodded to Molotov. "He's not the most exciting person to have on board, but he gets the job done. I am Major Kerring, captain of the Triton."

Molotov smiled. "We hail from our homeworld of Trinakai, Settled thousands of years ago by old earth colonists. We hold a somewhat large dominion in out local area, perhaps we could be in a position to aid your new settlement"

"What we need the most right now is food and building materials, such a younge world for instance lacks resources like Coal and other resources that takes millions of years to make. Also we need to repair this ship, when it's repaired we can set about constructing a small shipyard that will allow us to construct new vessels that we can use"

The Admiral pulls at a cigar and starts smoking

"all we can offer in return is the promise that when we have resources to spare we can start trade, also we do need Dilitium which sadly is another resource this planet lacks. We are going to have to find a planet that has it and start another colony before we can start constructing warp capable ships"
