Ladies and gentlemen, in a somewhat insane spurt of inspiration i have decided to tentativly dip my toe into the immensly vast forum that is International Incidents, i have role played in various threads but have not yet started me own; as such i'm rather bemused to find my possible first one going along a different path.

I have been responsible for an off site's RPG for a while now, during which time i applied my graphic skills to create maps for it. It made things somewhat.. easier, and simply pleasing at times to point and say "there i am". Now i would like to try it here, i am offering each Future Tech nation here the oppertunity to find their homes on a galactic map. I will attempt to place territorial control in areas to the best of my ability but if somone comes along and says "that spiral arm please" i will simply sweep them aside and focus on a more sensible and relaistic request.

So, for now all we have is this:

It's simple, but will help me to create the "real" one. Simply tell me which square your homeworld or territory is placed in, home worlds are more preferable but you can say other territories to, and say so by "5 down siz across" From the top left square which i will count from.

I will use a circle to position the system, enclose a number, and list it in the post, MAKE SURE YOU TELL ME THE SYSTEMS NAME AS TO WHERE IT IS. Also you can tell me where abouts in the "grid square" the system is, "near that cluster" or "to the top left" may seem bloody simplistic but htey can help.

So, let's see how this goes, fingers crossed. And go easy on me if i haven't made this clear, it's just an experiment for "fun".

Also i in an additional burst of helpfulness i have decided to go looking for a high definition map for the more picky and geenrally unhelpful lot of you who may assault me, because you don't like that particular black bit nect to an obscure star near an otherwise good place...

Five down, two across, and at the very edge of the galaxy arm there: New Port Station.

In that same square, Enkaire-Homeworld, which is technically a psuedo-alliance-part of the Empire from an off-site RP. x3 Not sure where it exactly is, but it's a little bit more in the galaxy arm than the station is.

seven down, four across right in the middle of the square. Homeworld name: Charzak
The Empire of Charzak is one square around it in each direction.

Harvest (1 habitable world, numerous space stations and colonies, 1 Defensive Orbital Platform in orbit of planet)
Hearthstone (1 habitable world, numerous mining stations and facilities throughout the mineral rich asteroid belts and moons)
Furnace (1 habitable world, massive shipyards systemwide)
Horizon (2 habitable worlds, scarcely populated frontier system, one planet is a research facility for an in-system gravatic anomoly, another is a mountainous world used for military training)

The New Ganoxa (http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/GeneralZhukov3333/NewGanoxa-1.jpg) System is at the point (2,-2) on the dot. Old Ganoxa I would find it 5 squares right one square down.

It's redundant to make a copy of this, point the same location of RL Sol(as Gliese 581 would overlap it, because it's relatively close) and then separate it into label it as

Universe 2: E = MC2

While re-labeling the currently one as:

Universe 1: Reversing the Polarization Works

Solar Communes would be in "Universe 2"

What on earth are you talking about solar communes?

Zhengri is one left and six down from center. Our Star Navy is a scourge and we have universal military service so watch your step, we are small but feisty.

Terratha's homeworld is Earth, but it currently has people on (and may eventually claim) a world that's approximately 4 down and 8 to the right.

Is this going to be a go?

Oh yes, i don't know what will become of it once i'm done but i'll certainly do it. I was overwhelemed with work yesterday so i only go thalfway through it. I should hopefully be able to upload it today.

i was showing it in a Cartesian format so at point (2,-2) is where the system is. So its 2 lines right and two lines down. Or just place it mid rim below the Old Ganoxa point

Cartesian coordinates count from the center, ne?

The Fair World of Zyrox, although not a future tech world (because the necessary elements aren't present in significant amounts in the planet's crust), is still a planet nowhere near Earth. It is located 12 down, 3 across, near the middle of the bright blob.

Earth might still be a good idea to add anyway, in part due to how many different cultures claim it as a homeworld. It would be kinda silly, IMHO, to include worlds that people have, but not a world so many originated from.

Oh, and the planet in question? Arathin.

You see that square in the Delta Quadrant waaaaaaaaaaaay in the top right? Put me at the very top right corner of that square as "Skaugran Territory." It's a tiny star cluster that gets out shined by the rest of the galaxy, so it's hard to see.

7 down and 4 across. 3 systems, labelled 'Uir cluster' I'm hoping to re-enter FT after a slow first entry which never really took off and an even slower second entry which died after a few posts.

My Dius and Fidus Federation, would like to claim: (if center is taken as 0,0 then I'll take -6,-1)

Homeworld will be Dius Prime III
we will have colonies on: DP II
and Fidus Prime IV

I'll post/link specify on the federation later.

Any chance you can have an arrow pointing to the galactic north west with TAP'ian Cluster 157kly? I have laid claim to part of the Large Magellanic Cloud and would like to have that recognized.

lol, i'm not ignoring you Skaugra, i'd just spent an annoying amount of time figuring out other peoples diverse ways of telling me where to stick their planets and i got fed up lol.
