Amidst a sea of cheering crowds, over looking the docks, a Middle aged Dwarf strod out into the open, his voice magically amplified
He said to the crowd, after beckoning the rowdy masses to quieten down "Clan mates, Distant relatives, and all Dwarfs in general, Today is day
to be proud of! for a year or hard work and toil, is now at hand we shall rise up amist a seea of peril, and darkness and in the night we shall light our
enemys with the Earth Fathers divine light, and sweep them away with the fruits of his labour!"
Behind him, a small fanfare of music erupted, as a single large grey and black ship slid out from under the covers of a large tarp, on it side several port
holes were open, and five cannons of the heavy viaitry were open on ech side, along with two up the front and two at the back, what amazed the crowd,
was that fact it was completly covered in iron, unlike most Dwarven ships, this was a radical new step, a big leap in arnament and armour, the first of its
kind.
Looking much like its predacessors, but much longer, the Iron Warship unfurled its mast, and the plateing previously covering the deck made of thiner iron
then the hull was pulled down to the deck, via a rail system, revealing a whole complement of cheering warriors on the deck, and on land
The age of the Dwarfs had begun.
As if bidden by the crowds wishes, the ship turned agaisnt the wind and still progressed at its normal speed! the crowd was simply astonished, and
wondered how that was possible, they were left to wonder though, but the people in the ship knew well enough a high trained group of ten dwarfs
operated a pair of two screws inside the hull, that acted like propellors, as they "spun" the screw several weights in a fash also swung,
adding to the momentum giving it a respectabl speed upwind, but it was still far from fast.
The ship coasted to a stop, and the crowd gazed eagerly, the deck plating was slid forwardo n its rails turning it into another, Armoured Craft look alike
the Aft cannons slid out of there ports, and with a mighty boom, they fired in almost unison sended a five cannon balls into the air, trailing a colorful
light.
The ship turned back to port, to dock amonsgt a cheering crowd all chanting the same this "Azral! Azral!"
oocl basically, you can be passery bys, trades people who catch sight of the test etc your reactions and stuff. maybe try some espionage / recon if you would like lol by dont get caught! :P
