Ambassadors of the NS world’s nations we welcome you to Stormhelt the capital city of Stornguard on this momentous day we open our doors to the international community and ask those who would wish to exchange ambassadors with our nation to come forward.

Before you, you will find a condensed version of our Embassy Exchange Agreement which contains a brief review of the priority terms of the agreement which we require you to accept in return for the exchange of ambassadors between our nations.

Embassy Exchange Agreement

Terminology,
Us, our, and Stornguard refers to the nation and government of Stornguard
You, yours and your nation, refers the nation and government applying for an embassy
Embassy refers to the building in which your ambassador and staff shall conduct day to day business.
Embassy security staff, the personnel employed by your nation to provide protection for your embassy and ambassador.

1, Embassy Building (external) and Grounds

A, The grounds on which your embassy stands, up to the plots legal boundaries, are to be considered the sovereign property of your nation and shall be governed by your nations laws where such laws do not contradict or interfere with Stornguard laws.
B, Where not in conflict with existing privacy and public access laws embassies may have a perimeter wall no taller than three(3) metres in height and no more than two(2) metres in width at its base.
C, The embassy was rise no more than five(5) storeys above ground level and are restricted to five(5) basement levels
D, The embassy buildings external windows may be improved to increase their resistance to bullet damage, blast damage, electronic signal resistance, noise pollution reduction and may have privacy glass installed. Sealed windows may be installed in an embassy building where they do not infringe on established health and safety laws.
E, The embassy buildings external access doors may be improved to increase their resistance to bullet damage, blast damage, electronic signal resistance, noise pollution and may have privacy glass installed, doors may be improved to include manually operated or electronically operated reactive security systems.
F, The embassy building roof or grounds may include, or may be upgraded to include, a helicopter landing pad which can service up to a medium lift/capacity helicopter.

2,Embassy Building (internal)

A, Your embassy building may include screening devices deemed necessary by your government and approved by our government as not overly invasive.
B, Internal doors may have locks and may be lock at all time if so required, so long as such action does not infringe on existing health and safety laws.
C, One(1) room, which may consist of up to an entire level, may be use as a safe or secure storage were such measures do not infringe on existing health and safety laws.
D, One(1) room, which may consist of up to an entire level, may be used as an armoury for embassy security staff.

3,Ambassador and Embassy staff and Diplomatic Immunity

A, You must submit details of the staff you will require diplomatic immunity to prosecution under Stornguard laws.
B, Diplomatic Immunity to prosecution under Stornguard laws does not constitute a warrant to break laws but rather any infringement by person with diplomatic immunity to prosecution will be deported back to their country of origin as well as the forwarding of all relevant information to local law enforcement agencies.
C, Your embassy staff may be as large as is required by your nation and may safely occupy the embassy building.
D, You may employ Stornguard nationals to work in your embassy, however these employees will not receive immunity to prosecution under Stornguard laws.

4,Embassy and Ambassador Protection

A, Your embassy defence force or military attachment may number no more than one hundred and sixty personnel(160), including command staff.
B, Weapons may be stored on your embassies premises with in a secure armoury with controlled and audited access.
C, Only personnel with acceptable certification may use or handle firearms stored within your embassy.
D, Certified weapons handlers must be approved by Stornguard government before using or handling of firearms on Stornguard territory or within your embassy boundaries.
E, Ambassador Protection teams may be as large as your government deems necessary to guaranty ambassadors safety.

5,Communication and Electronics

A, Your embassy may use any electronic and communication devices deemed necessary by your government.
B, were such electronic and communication devices are not used to intercept or capture communication by our government and citizens.
C, Surveillance devices may be utilised for the protection of your embassy and ambassador’s residence and may not be use for intelligence gathering of any other kind.

OOC: One question: is there a limit of how big the weapons are? Eg: is a 50 .cal machine gun acceptable?

OOC; If you can explain way you would need a fifty calibre machine gun in a developed nation then there really wouldnt be a problem with it.
