I would like to start an RP based around a country in turmoil. The situation is, the country is split in half politically, and physically, by north and south halves. The north is a more right-winged state, who was pressuring the south to fold to it's new proposal of dissolving the country's parliament, and installing a small group of leaders that would rule until their deaths.
The south is a extreme left-wing faction, supporting a more socialist approach. After rejecting the North's proposal, the North decided to forcibly split themselves from the standing Parliament.
So the two countries are divided, raising troops, and about to have at it in an all out civil war.
Objectives: The North has intentions to invade the south, seizing the ten largest cities, and the many (100+) oil refineries on and off shore. The objective for the south, expecting invasion, is to, for one, repel the coming invasion, and make efforts to reunify the country.
The country is called Hessia. Total population is 350 million. 200 million North, 150 million south. Size of their armed forces is at the discretion of the controlling players. Terrain is similar to western europe, as is climate (i will provide a map for gameplay before the RP begins)
So, civil war is about to break out, so i need two players to RP as North and South, first off. Secondly, we need a couple players to have their nations intervene, in whatever ways they want to (secret, or public, military or economic, etc) No nukes.
