OOC: Open to anyone wanting to improve their RPing skills in the area of Dogfighting. I started this because I am completely bored with people who constantly just use missiles in aerial shootouts. As such, use of missiles is strictly prohibited here. Also, this is for people who missed out on Sky Of Aces. Thank you, and have a nice day.

The International Fighter Weapons School

Located at Cockleshell Beach Air Force Base, in southern Ustio, the IFWS is open to the best pilots in the world wishing to fly with and against their fellow pilots.

Pilots may stay on the base while attending the IFWS, and the base has ample amenities, and has a station for a rail line into Solis Ortis, a small town in the centre of Ustio. Also, pilots are required to fly aircraft provided by the IFWS. There is a wide range of aircraft, going back as far as 1911 right up to the present day:

The midday sun was high in the sky, beating down on the airbase, the shimmering heat visible on the asphalt runway. Lines of aircraft stood along the flight line. Shining silver MiG 17's, desert camoflagued P-40's and dull grey F-22's stood side-by-side in the blistering heat. Out over the sea, the sun glistened off two aircraft, low over the deep blue ocean.

It was an F-86, facing off against a MiG-15. The MiG dived in on the Sabre out of the sun, but the F-86 pilot had seen the move, and quickly jerked his plane out of the way to avoid the stream of infra-red gunfire streaming out of the MiG's cannons. The MiG pulled out of the dive low over the water, not 200 feet above the waves. The Sabre quickly followed, and was just as low as the MiG. They thundered low across the sea, approaching the Airbase. The MiG was square in the Sabre's sights - the dogfight was over.

The two planes landed back at base, taxing into parking spaces in front of hardened aircraft shelters. The cockpit of the Sabre slid back, and a tall man wearing a modern flight helmet, emblazoned with the Ustian Flag and the word "Patriot" printed on the back, climbed out. The MiG pilot also got out of his aircraft, stepping down and removing his own helmet. The tall man turned to him, replacing his helmet with a pair of sunglasses

"Nice try Lieutenant, but you'll have to do better next time" he said, smiling

"Yes, I will Colonel" replied the Lieutenant, begining his walk back to the main base area
