Overview
The Oblivionates are a species of reptillian creatures, they are both warlike and diplomatic. They Reside in Forests, and grasslands all across the continent. They are renowned hunters, warriors, and Diplomats.

History:
The Oblivionates are a species of Lizardmen, Unlike most lizardmen, they possess the horns of an Elk. Oblivionates are also an orderly type, straying away from the typical evil lizardman genre. The Oblivionates are ancient, nearly as old as the elves. When they were a younger race they were known for their headstrong nature. So deep was the Oblivionates stubborness and pride, that they declared a war of extermination against all goblin-kin. This war was to be known as the Great Goblin Purge. The Oblivionates slaughter countless goblin kingdoms, sparring none from there wrath. The Oblivionates nearly exterminated all the goblins on the contientent when the Oblivionagte god, San-shu, forsook his cherished children, taking with him the oblivionates knowledge of magic. With the loss of their magic the Oblivionates retreated, and the goblins soon re-grew in strength and numbers. No one knows why San-Shu forsook the Oblivionate race, nor when he will return, but what is certain is that the Oblivionates are still a formidable species to start a war with.

Government
The Government is ruled by the council of chieftans, which is a collection of Chieftans from across Oblivionate Territory. Every lifetime the council will elect a leader, known to the people as the High Chieftan.

The current High Chieftan is Montuk, a great warrior who united the Tribes after a bloody civil war.

The other Chieftans are know as just Chieftans, however they command a great amount of power and respect. They act as the High Chieftans generals and governers.

The people themselves are classified into three distinct classes, the Citizens, the warriors, and the nobles.

Citizens are granted there choice of a farm or a house in a village, town or city, depending on their importance and wealth. There mates are choosen for them by their parents, however, there parents are generally good a choosing their child's mate.

Warriors, are permanent soldiers in the High Chieftans army. They have the right to challenge another warrior or citizen to a duel of honor, should they feel they are being harshly insulted. After fighting in the Chieftans army for 7 years, the warrior is allowed to retire and is given land and the right to choose his or her own mate. If the Warrior stays for longer, they are granted additional or larger lands, and the right to take an extra mate per extra year they serve.

Nobles own a village, Town or sometimes govern a city in the absence of a chief. They have the right to own a personal contengient of soldiers, with the limit being 1000 soldiers, they have the right to have there own banner. They may govern there lands in any way they see fit, however, a cheiftan has the right to take a nobles land should he be disloyal or should he mistreat his citizens. Nobles are also entitled to their own steeds, and may grant an excellent warrior the right to own his own steed.

Oblivion Cross bow Gauntlet:
A gaunlet with a miniature cross bow attached to it, Given only to a noble, or a champion warrior. Despite there size, they are quite powerful, but the the size of the bolt, limits where a target must be hit for a kill to be achieved.

Armor:
Since the Oblivionates are such an odd shape armor is difficult to make for them. as such there armor is really high quality metal, but some area's such as parts of the face cannot be covered. However Oblivionate has particularily tough hide and will be difficult to kill without armor.

Also note Oblivionates have extremely sharp teeth and claws, and are very agile, with or without armor.

Beasts:
The oblivionates themselves are a fast and light species, so steeds are usually nessicary, however nobles have been known to use horses to move them even more quickly than normally. Oblivionates also have a knack for training the giant spiders that reside in their forests. The Oblivionates can also speak with the wolf tribes in their lands, so sometimes a pack of wolves will acompany warriors into battle.

Magic:
Magic has been lost to the Oblivionates. They belive that their god had left them after the great goblin purge. They belive that due to their savagry in the days of old they will never wield magic again.

Blood feuds:
Oblivionates Dispise the goblins for laying an ancient blood curse on them after nearly eliminating their entire race. This Blood curse has caused Oblivionates to be entirely carnivorus instead of omnivorus. This may have worked to the Oblivionates advantage as it helped them evolve natural weapons to hunt for foods, and even fight in war.

Note: Any special units will be introduced during an RP as they will change from time to time due to the nature of the Clans.
