Current Information from Nationstates:

The Empire of Chazaka is a massive, safe nation, renowned for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 1.189 billion hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, corrupt government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Education, Social Equality, and the Environment. The average income tax rate is 100%. A large private sector is dominated by the Tourism industry.

Several citizens have complained about scientists abducting their pets for experimentation, the government seeks peaceful forum with terrorists, most of the nation's wealthy aristocrats are dentists, and the Supreme Court vehemently protects civil rights and the right to privacy. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Chazaka's national animal is the Gopher, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the Chaz.

Chazaka is ranked 2nd in the region and 4,216th in the world for Most Politically Free Nations.

Government of Chazaka Empire


Chazaka has a tri branch system with the standard three powers of a democracy based on the United States system. The president's powers are generally more powerful than its united states counterpart. The Executive branch still carries out the laws and appoint justices to the Justice Courts. The president is elected for life, and his personal cabinet is appointed by himself with no congressional/senate approval needed or sought.

The Chazaka parliament is a one house legislature comprising of a Senate. Senators are voted in every 5 years by direct popular vote, 1 senator per 1 million of population roughly. The Senate's legislative powers are limited during war and quite large during peacetime. There are currently 1200 senators.

The Justice Courts are responsible for interpreting the laws, and in most cases, determine if laws are constitutional. If not, they can't be taken into effect. The Justice Court consists of seven judges. They are appointed by the president, approved by a senate committee. They also settle tie breaking issues, mostly presidential elections, issues in voting, and new law approval.

The Different Parties in the Chazaka Empire:

The Chazaka National Socialist party(have renamed since Election as the Chazaka United Workers Party or CUWP). Symbol/Color: The Pink Gopher. Brief History:

1950: Founding of the Chazaka Republic after a 2 year long constitutional convention by the merging of Eastern and Western Hustian under the newly christened Chazaka Republic.

1950-52: Peaceful integration of West and East Cultures, rising of the Eastern Economy.

1953: Northern Hustian successfully pressed into joining Chazaka.

1953-1963: Seeming peaceful transformation of different members into one country, Chazaka.

late 1963: Suspected "Communists" rebels kidnap and eventually kill Chazaka President while traveling through Former Northern Hustian, rebels take over most Northern Cities.

early 1964: Senate caves into rebels demands, President killed anyway, Eastern and Western Chazaka demand swift action.

mid-1964: Tartarus raises to power, orders Chazaka Military to take back Northern Cities at any cost.

mid-1965: Last rebel city taken, Rebel leaders publicly executed.

late-1965: Tartarus elected to President for life, founding of the Chazaka Empire, any remaining communists are booted from country/jailed for 40 years.

note any and all of these rights may be revoked during wartime up to a maximum of 5 years per war with at least a year of rest between periods of revokein.

Geography of The Chazaka Empire

Total Area(at the moment): 8,511,965 SQ KM

Coastline: 10,000 km mostly on the southern and eastern boarders.
We claim mineral/oil/national/etc rights to 15 km outside our coasts.

Terrain: There is a mountains chain on Chazaka's northern boarder/region., the inner part of Chazaka is a flat plains that rises to 800 meters above sea level at its maximum point Mt. Erebes. The Chaz River runs from the northern mountains down to the southern ocean totaling a length of 4,532km

Climate: Most of Chazaka is of a tropical climate, with the mountains having snow most of the year(10 out of 12 months).
National Deposits: Their are several uranium deposits in the Northern mountains, and various other minerals.
land use: 23% of the land is used for farming, 15% is city/urban and the rest is mostly left to the environment or the native people.

Natural Hazards: Their are several active volcanoes on Chazaka's western coast/boarder, Earthquakes are also quite common on the western boarder.
Chazaka is very environmentally consensus and has tried to sign/agree with all greenhouse gases and other environment pacts/laws.

Special Forces Various division and responsibilities.

Z brigade(4,500 currently active personal), trained to resist any zombie invasions or outbreaks in Chazaka or anywhere else in the world. Armed with hardened Katana(s), SiY-6 Rifle Sight, CK08 Quality Bayonet, locally produced rifle,pistol , every fireteam(5 people) has at least one sniper armed with IMBEL .308 AGLC sniper rifle (http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn71-e.htm). Also has orders to take at least one sample per outbreak to help determine if outbreaks are related and to find a cure/prevention. 2,250 of the current personal are actively containing any outbreaks in southern Chazaka, which unfortunately happens quite frequently(major outbreak about once a month for some reason). An additional 1,000 reinforce above incase anything gets seriously out of hand and helps monitor the rest of Chazaka. Leaving only 1,250 to help control outside incidents/reserves.

SN brigade( 4,000 currently active personal), trained to fight any non zombie related supernatural outbreaks such as demon uprisings, massive vampire outbreaks, ghosts, etc. Armed with: depends on what they're fighting.

Chazaka Home Guard: Is a reserve military force composed of state Home Guard militia members. They serve as part of the first-line defense for Chazaka. The Home Guard is divided up into units stationed in each of the 25 states and Chazaka territories and operates under their respective state governor or territorial government. The Home Guard may be called up for active duty by the state governors or territorial commanding generals to help respond to domestic emergencies and disasters, such as those caused by hurricanes, floods, tornado, floods and earthquakes.

With the consent of state governors, members or units of the Home Guard may be appointed to be federally recognized armed force members in active or inactive service. Guard units may also be called up for federal service, with the consent of state governors, to repel invasion, suppress rebellion, or execute federal laws if Chazaka or any its states or territories are invaded or is in danger of invasion by a foreign nation, or if there is a rebellion or danger of a rebellion against the authority of the federal government, or if the President is unable with the regular armed forces to execute the laws of Chazaka.

The Chazaka Carrier Battle Group, default versions
(based on the United States Navy Version)

* A "supercarrier" commanded by a captain who reports directly to the commander of the CSBG. The carrier is the flagship of the battle group, with the commanding rear admiral on board, making use of the advanced combat direction center and communications suite.
* A carrier air wing (CVW) commanded by another captain who reports directly to the commander of the CSG. The carrier air wing typically has up to nine squadrons commanded by a commander.
* A destroyer squadron commanded by a captain who reports to the CSBG commander and commands the escort ships.
* One to two guided missile cruisers.
* Two to three guided missile destroyers, used primarily for anti-aircraft and anti-submarine warfare.
* Up to four attack submarines, in a direct support role seeking out and destroying hostile surface ships and submarines.

History of Chazakain
The land of Chazakain is unique in the nationstates world in that it is adjusted to at least 3 other loosely allied states that formed the Greater Chazaka Empire during most of the 20th century. Its people and government is alike to the other states in the region in that it is a culture melting pot of South American, European and Asian peoples and cultures. Its first colonists were wayward Greeks during the late BC era, that noting the abundant water and food they had stumbled apon decided to stay. From this small colonizing effort others have advanced onto the Chazaka landmass from the Aztecs to the Vikings...(details history of region)

Part 2, the geography of Chazakain
Chazakain is the southern most and western most part of the Cerymbasic subcontinent, as Cerymbasic rests on a plate junction, The northern region of Diae has numerous volcanoes erupting on average at a rate of two to three a year, while these eruptions can be quite violent, the area is only sparsely populated so deaths are rare.

To the south of this region is the Phonon plains, these plains from the western coast of Chazakain to the Jungles in the eastern border regions. These plain are typical of Chazakain in that they are generally flat with the highest point being only 200 meters above the lowest. This region holds the Chazakain capital Phegeus, this region holds the greatest population and is the most developed in all of Chazakain, many companies have built factories here and many cities have sprung up to provide workers and their needed conforms and supplies. Towards the border of the plains and the jungles lie the bread basket of Chazakain the Anchu region.

The Anchu region lies in a 60 km strip on the plains, where much of Chazakain fruits,vegetables and wheat is grown due to its generally good soil and climate. This region has also been the focus point of many failed revolts against the monarchy over the years...

As we travel further south the Rneusme mountains appear these peaks provide much of the raw materials the Chazakain industries need to survive while also provided shelter during times of war in their many caves and hidden valleys. The highest point is Mt. Siae at 4,515 meters, yet most mountains in the region rarely reach the 2,400 meter mark. The region is also famous for its many tourist attractions from the various ski slopes to scaling Mt. Siae. Now as we approach the Chazakain border with Chazada we reach the Xylersa, these jungles are full of all kinds of creatures from the unimportant and nonthreatening to the vicious and very very dangerous, this region is also underdeveloped and underpopulated due to this and other reasons.

The Ocean to Chazakains is both a god send and a constant threat to its way of life, bringing upon it both the fruits of the sea(fish,oil,trade,etc) and the constant dangers of hurricanes and invaders. The ocean surrounding Chazakain is generally calm during the late fall to early spring periods but once spring arrives watch out! the ocean is wiped up to a frenzy for most of August through April causing a heavy storm on the average of once per two weeks, thankfully these storms generally make land fall in the Diae region causing no lastly harm to most Chazakains.

The coastline or Osas region of Chazakain are infamous for their variety; some areas are perfect for beachgoing(long, sandy beaches) while others are dangerous to any and all(large sharp rocks, high waves, sharp differences between high and low tide, etc) Most of the former is towards the central of Chazakain's coastline on the Phonon plains while most of the later is in the Diane and Rneusme regions.
