Zinaire Raises Population Cap (OOC Announcement)
As some of you may know, Zinaire has been an RS nation with a population capped at 200 million for some time now. However, I've recently decided to up this cap to one billion (my population as of several days ago). Obviously, this will turn the already tightly-packed Zinaire into a 120,337 sq km sardine can. Therefore, in the coming days, I'll either be adjusting my land claims to incorporate the entire Caribbean archipelago and/or portions of Central/South America or I'll be joining a new region with its own map and changing my geography that way.
The military has been expanded three-fold and is now composed of nearly five million soldiers rather than under two million.
All this means my factbook is horribly out of date, so until I fix it (which could take weeks), it's better to ask me for statistical information rather than deriving it from the wiki.
Essentially, this is just an FYI to everyone so that no one finds themselves facing a fighting force three times the size that they expected. However, if anyone objects to this move, feel free to voice your concerns here as well.
Finally, I'd just like to say that although I still support the RS movement, it just wasn't catching on and I felt that it was time that I RP with a reasonably massive nation. If I find it isn't all that, I may return to a smaller population.
Okay, here's the new map. Zinaire is now made up of 16 South/Central American countries and Caribbean islands. The total landmass is 11,762,689 km^2.

But why? Why not just say that you have all of Oceania and the Caribbean and Hawaii and the Galapagos and those random islands below Alaska and the Kuril Islands and such?
Well, I wanted to keep the Caribbean identity and I wasn't too attached to being just an island.

Why? Because those islands could not come even close to supporting a nation with 1 Billion people, unless all the land on said islans was devoted entirely to residential super-highrises.

Yeah, it's good to be back. Nice to have a population density in the two-digit range too.
I also RP as being located in the Caribbean, but my NS pop is 3.5 billion, so I RP as a nation of about 1 billion located on a massive fictional island chain somewhere in the area.

Pretty cool. I capped my populace a while ago to around 1.x billion that I've subsequently raised here and there, as I've gained land, to 1.325 billion. I do have 5,912,880.19 mi² for land so I'm not that packed. My density is 224.09 per square mile.

I have "puppets" which are basically ideological allies linked to the history of Third Spanish States, forming the "Confintern". The Third Spanish States' NS Page population represents the population of Third Spanish States(300 million) plus the population of all my puppets, although I've also capped it at 1.x billion.

Anyway, for the purposes of our RP (which I totally forgot about), it's probably best to finish it as we started it– with the 200 million population and just the two islands.

Also, there's Anarchilopolis. That's why it's common to assume that there is a parallel Earth where the north of Brazil is part of Zinaire rather than an independent anarchist land.
