King Andrew Williams III sat at the breakfast table along with High Councilman Hartford Benson. He sipped his wine as the high councilor cut up a piece of his ham, cheese, and green pepper omelet. The suited councilor looked up at his king dressed in traditional robes. Swallowing, he sipped his mind and questioned Andrew, "Is something the matter, sire. Does your food taste tainted?"

"Huh? Oh, no..." the king sighed. He then took off his crown and sipped some more wine. "Hartford, I guess..." he sighed again. "What if I die today and a crazy, obsessive dictator, took over the throne? I have no children, no wife, and my only cousin is a wanted fugitive nowhere to be found. I only want the best for Miroxia and the best for me."

"Well," the high councilor said, sipping his wine, "you can always do what former High Councilor Durant Adams did: search for a wife."

"What?" he questioned.

"Yeah, yeah," Hartford continued, "he paid money to many international papers and got an ad put in place for him. He dated some Vizion girl for about a month, but it didn't work out. Why don't your try that?"

The monarch then stood up, smiling. "By Jove, that's it, man! One thousand blessings from God to you!" The then ran out of the room and into his royal office. He then typed this letter, which was in daily papers the next day:

"Oh shut it," he snapped. "What do you need?"

"The concil passed this to a vote 51-49. I've editted it. What do you think?"

He quickly glimpsed it over and editted it. "Put it to a revote," he said.

Hartford nodded as he left.

The king then got back to his applications.

He then sealed the letter and sent it to the dutchess. He smiled as he sat down. This would hopefully work out.

Izis awoke early that mornig just as the mail arrived from the Willink carrier Service in Terra City delivered the mail. Izis didn't have much on her mind, the very name Zion struck fear into many peoples hearts... only because of her father though, Izis could hurt a flea unless provoked... A trait her father didn't like to much. But as she siffted through the pile of Junk mail and ads, she came across a well made envelope and a charming wax seal. she heart raced with excitment...

"theres no way... he couldn't have picked me...but what if this is a rejection letter..... Crap I hate letters!"she thought to herself as she held the letter in hand. Her mind wondered for some time before she opened it. As she pulled out the paper a plane ticket fell out and landed on the floor. Izis looked down and saw the ticket and quickly opened the piece of paper... so fast she tore it in half, regardless she read the letter.

Izis quickly fainted and fell back to her bed where she landed softly. She was so happy she could hardly contain it. She jumped up as fast as she could and began packing her things to head over. she looked over her vast wordrobe and picked out the best she could and packed some normal cloths and made her way to her hanger where she would make the connection to the plane awaiting her. As her flight took off towards Miroxia's homeland she was all giggles....

A few hours later her plane landed and she disembarked the plane first heading outside to search for the limo that was awaiting her....

The limo drive looked around at thenow arrviving flight in Gate-3A. The Miroxian sun was just rising over the purple sky of a horizon. When he saw a beautifully dressed woman step out with a couple of bodyguards, he walked over to her.

"You must be Princess Izis of Raven corps. I am Mayor Keneth Marsh, an assistant to rulers past and present. May I show you to the limo?" he said, with a native accent. They then walked to the limo. He opened her door as she climbed in. He then shut her door and got in the passenger seat. "So," he said, pulling away from the airport, "any questions about Miroxia?"

She giggled a little as he called her the princess of Raven corps. The board of Directors used to call her the same. But she decided to re-educate him as to who she was.

" Thank you for the warm welcome, but I am a princess of Kornosia. My father simply owns Raven corps. But you need not be sorry for such a common mistake".... ( she looks out the window of the limo before taking the mayors offer to answer questions). " Tell me good sir... This nation has it been through any wars as of lately or have your affairs been peacefull?"

After her question she adjusted her dress, and looked into the limos rear-view mirror to catch a glimps of the mayor...

"Well," he said, depressingly, "the royalistic government came into power with the Norther Rebellion Treaty. The northern royalists started two civil wars, but don't be alarmed! Only some royalists are evil! Most of them, like our King Andrew, were anti war from the beginning, but they insisted and the peace-lovers were over powered, so..." He continued driving, wondering if this would change her opinion on the king.

Izis Smiled at the answer she was given. She did so detest war as she thought it to be un-needed and just brutal with no real winner since both will lose something. But after her sudden happiness with the kings anti-war policy, she then spoke up and replied with her own bout of depressing stories...

" It good to hear of your Kings peacefull disposition, but my father may not find it as .... touching as I do. You see, my father Colderon Jason Zion is a ruthless man who loves his family, money, and his house... all other things are pointless or are only secondary in his mind. Dispite my fathers natural birth right as a king to the Kornosian people, he renounced his position and took control of his father Company and turned it into something horrible. I have seen so many suffer at the hands of my father, and all he cares about is if his company is making a profit."

"That's just wrong..." Keneth said, pulling into the parking lot of the coffe shop. He opened her door and she climbed out. She then walked into the coffee shop and saw the king sipping on some coffee. He looked at her and smiled. "Izis," he said, standing, "Dutchess of Kornosia, pleased to meet you." They shook hand then both sat. He had pre ordered her a coffee. "So, any questions about the nation," he asked, sipping the coffee, "or did Keneth take care of that?"

"The mayor had already helped me with the question I had. And for that I am very appreciative for his assistance." replied Izis as she took her drink from the waitress as she brought it over. As she took tocup she replaced it with a Kornosian gold coin, worth roughly 10 usd in its wieght. She then took the cup of coffee and took a small sip of the lightened drink and placed it back on the table. Izis was a nervous wreck, she had never been with anyone important or royal before in any kind of Personnel capacity before now.

But to keep the table from going silent she spoke up with a question...

" Tell me...Andrew... I hear your a peaceful King. How do your people respond to that policy?"

She hoped her question wasn't to direct. For her father was known for striking those who presume to much of their station and act outside it.

"Well, our Prime Minister, Hartford Benson, was elected with a defense only policy. I, originally, was anti-war, but if Miroxia is threatened by, say, a rebellion group; to keep Miroxia safe, we'd have to give a couple of lives, but never will we strike another. We are strictly defense only. And the people, they react quiet nicely to it, for having 2 civil wars in the past 10 years, I personally think they are relieved by our policies.

"Now," he said, clutching her hands, "what's your history and the history of Kornosia?"

Izis shuttered a little in her heart as Andrew took hold of her hand. She wasn't quite used to such sudden and direct gestures. Her question was answered well and she was pleased to her of Andrews policy. Then Andrew asked his question...

"Now," he said, clutching her hands, "what's your history and the history of Kornosia?"

Izis thought for a second before responding...

" Kornosia is a very violent nation. It thrives off of battle and death. They glorify Gladiators and warriors as they cut down one another. Weapons can be bought by anyone at any age. And my father is a national hero for his exploites of different nations he has conqured and turned into giant mining and birthing centers. The nation also a large worshipper of Necromancy, and Blood Alchemy." said Izisd beofre taking a sip of her coffee then continuing on with her small explaination..

" They do have good qualities though... Like they produce one of the worlds most exspensive and wonderful tasting wines called Blood wine. My father own all of the bottels execpt 1 or 2 of them. I have tasted it once... It absolutly delightful."

"Well, the violence is hard to overlook, but," he said, looking into her blue eyes, "that you are a peaceful woman. Now, you said worshippers of alchemy and Necromancy? I, personally, am a member of the Deusist Church of Miroxia; it is of Christian denomination. What is your religion?"

" My Religion... Well... I... I have no idea. I never really put much thought into my religion. I feel that a God or higher being is among us. But as to which religion I worship... I worship no religion but I do worship God. So I guess I have no Religion." she answered back

The king then took out a book an opened it on the table. "This is the minor Bible, or the Juden, as Deusists call it. It consists of 6 books. Let's see," he said flipping through the pages. Ah! Here we go: 'Whom all men fear, and tremble beforethy power; for the majesty of thy glory cannot be borne, and thine angru threatening towards sinners importable.' Manasses 4-5." He then put the book away.

"So what are your hobbies and interests?"

"Hobbies...." she queired to herself in a small whisper. She thought about what to say that wouldn't sound as if she was a little girl. But in due time a few hobbies came to mind.

" Well, I love breeding horses, I just had a pure white Kornosian Tallina stallion come to life about 5 days ago. I also like to walk in nature... just to be surrounded by its magnisifient beauty. I also like going to small town carnivals and parties... just to feel normal... you know?"

She finished her coffee and returned the question...

"Yes, my hobbies, um..." he though for a minute then replied, "Well, I'm a writer, I'm working on my first novel, and I, too, own a horse, a pure bred Miroxia mustang named 'Tobias'. He is the father of Razor Racer, the 3-time champion race horse of the Miroxian Derby."

Izis' eyes lite up at the mentioning of his liking of horses. She was fanatical about them and was far more at ease with his mentioning his horses.

" Interesting.... I would love to meet your horses in person. Raising horses is a Kornosian tradition... I must see them at your lesuire." she perked up with a sweet voice.

Izis was becoming far more open and at ease with her suitor, and she hoped the same for him as well.

Andrew seemed more comfortable with Izis after they held something in common. "Well," he said, finishing his coffee, "follow me!" They then got out and were picked up by Keneth, who started off to the palace.

"Any other questions, Izis?" he asked, lovingly.

" I was wondering If we could take a small detour and catch a play. I haven't been to one in nearly a year. ... My Father used to take me to see one when I was sad about something, But now he's so absorbed in work I hardly see him in a fatherly way these days." she said as she spoted a small theatre through her window.

Izis was young when her mother died, and with her father taking control of the Corporation her life was never complete always missing a little something that could never be replaced....

The car then stopped as Andrew turned around and grinned. "You're in luck," he said, turning into the theatre, "I always get real good balchony seats every week on a royalist discount. 'The Ballad of Tim Jones in the War of Brotherly Bloodshed' is showing right around this time. The War of Brotherly Bloodshed was a war that took place between North and South Miroxia when they were divided during 1881-1901." They then pulled into the theatre and walked into the fancy lobby. Andrew pulled out two tickets, and they were admitted into a balchony large enough for two. They both then took their seats as the show began...
