[OOC; In short, this new nation is going to be my Future Tech nation, while Heirosoloa will be my Modern Tech nation. I can play Ancient Heirosoloa as a Past Tech nation, so everything's covered now. Sorry for not mentioning it in the title, but this is still going to be MT.]

Linda; Hello, I'm Linda Eferall
Tom; And I'm Tom Chadley, this is HBC News.
Linda; In yet another breaking news update, the small island colony f Northern Oliss joined an open rebellion against the government of Heirosoloa
Tom; It started last Saturday, when the Prime Minister of Heirosoloa, David Skii, inquired about a scientific breakthrough on Northern Oliss. However, not only did the colony choose to not respond, when a small force went to check to see if anything happened on the island they were not allowed entry to the island.
Linda; When PM Skii sent an inquiry about this odd event on Monday, they responded by demanding to be left alone. A larger task force was sent, and was able to set up camp on the southern side of the archipelago. A scouting report shows that the Olishians were using two new technologies Heirosoloa did not know about; the first being fully operating armor suits for soldiers, something Heirosoloa has been trying to do for quite a while. The second hidden technology was a guess, but later proved to be right; space travel.
Tom; By Wednesday morning the colony and several other small islands in the same archipelago announced that they were going into a full rebellion. They stated that they were tired of having to report all breakthroughs to Heirosoloa, and then not having the technologies given back to them. They also stated that when they requested certain resources, such as Uranium, they were denied.
Linda; Heirosoloa responded by saying that in order to receive dangerous elements such as Uranium, the island colony should have gone by the procedures, but instead they simply demanded that they have it, without any reason. They also stated that Northern Oliss was given all technologies deemed necessary for the island as soon as they possibly could.
