Daronland Republic

TO: Nations of the World.
FROM: Daronland Presidency.
SUBJECT: Daronland Republic.
Dear Nations,
The Republic of Daronland was founded in 1800 by one million Asians, Europeans, Americans, Arabs and Africans who wished to form a democratic nation which supported all races, colours and creeds. The government was founded with ease, and soon the economy rose up with the discovery of great resources in Daronland. Immagration was open, and two million more world citizens flocked to the nation. Daronland was always very peaceful, and the Daronland Defense Force (DDF) dealt with any serious threat with ease.
Now, the Republic of Daronland wishes to make the world aware of the nation. We have applied for World Assembly membership to assist us in shaping the world. We are a very diverse society, but not one where diversity is the only issue.
We wish to ally, trade and protect our allies in this world. We hope you agree.
Yours Truely,
President Daniel Jenkins.
Vice-President Fahim Bin Hassam.
Foreign Affairs Minister Ai Ming.

Dear President Daniel Jenkins,
Do not think your call has been ignored by Steelternia. As a new nation, we seek to expose our once chaotic culture to the nations of the world, and we are interested in doing so with yours, as well. Although we are both small, our economies are weak, and we have little to offer in the conventional sense, Steelternia believes that we should strive alongside all nations to make our world a better place to live, work, and most importantly, play. Our culture has revolved around self-reliance for too long. If we dwell upon our history of war and struggle too much, I fear Steelternia will not remain stable.
That is why I believe it is in our interests in pursuing a Utopian Playland, and in yours to better yourselves and your nation, that we commit ourselves to an exchange of culture, goods, and relations. Steelternia's cities require investment to move away from semi-agrarian to something that requires a higher level of education. If you have schools, we would like to send our students there. If you have teachers, we will accept them. If you have students, the University of Claw Bay would have them. If you have investors, we must build. Our era of destruction is over, and the era of life and fun has begun.
Life life to its fullest, and may it be filled with fun.
Sincerely,
Markus Scratch
First Chancellor of Steelternia

Dear Chancellor Markus Scratch,
Thank you for replying to us. We are grateful and, thanks to our many natural resources, wish to assist Steelternia in building it's nation into a Utopian Playland. We have many schools, and we will be willing to have Steelternian students educated there in the best schools of the natio (ex. Waterton University, Jackson University, New Shepard University, etc.) We have many teachers who I am sure will be willing to teach in Steelternian schools.
Our economy is looking set for a massive rise, and many citizens are opting to become investors. We could start encouraging our investors to invest in Steelternia. I personally don't have a great understanding of economics, so I will lewt SecEconomics to deal with that.
All in all, we wish to ally Steelternia, trade with Steelternia and protect Steelternia. I hope you agree.
Yours Truely,
President David Jenkins.

To President David Jenkins of the Republic of Daronland.
From the High Lord Ilfir Erenthi III of the Third Holy Empire of Anemos Major
Good day to your nation. We have heard your plea for help and of your pacifism, and although we may never understand it we shall certainly respect a nation which adheres to its heritage amidst the darkness and violence that is the world. Therefore the Third Holy Empire of Anemos Major proposes that we undertake the defence of our nation, as well as signing a trade agreement with your nation, opening up our markets to you. The Imperial College of Anemos Rei is ready to help Daronlandian students enter the College through financial support, and if anything else is needed Anemos will be there.
Yours sincerely,
High Lord Ilfir Erenthi III of Anemos Major.

We are most interested in student and teacher exchange programs. The abundance of schools varies depending on the region of our nation. More agrarian areas have fewer, and more urban areas might value school, trade, or war. Claw bay has always been a region that values education and culture, and our University is doing its best to churn out teachers. Professors and schoolteachers are equally as welcome, and we would do well to have adult education programs.
I have not personally studied abroad, but I was taught by foreign tutors from a young age, so do not think I am not a worldy person, even though I have never stepped foot outside of my home country. I have dealt with foreign representatives all my life, and I know what other nations are capable of. As a result, I am reluctant to enter into a military treaty with another nation that does not hold the same ideologies as my own. Dr. Steel's teachings are hard for some to swallow, so we should not rush into military agreements. I would, however, be open to the prospect of arms trade and officer exchange programs. Our army, which is little more than bunches of militias, would do well with some discipline as seen outside of our nation.
Sincerely,
Markus Scratch
Chancellor of Steelternia
