OOC: This is sort of closed... only people who accepted our offer here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=567536) can sign the Watchman Treaty. At last check, that's:

Angenteria
Greywatch
The Second Alliance
Charzak
Greal
Golugan

From what I understand, there is another interstellar organization forming called the CAGE. Feel free to leave IC comments on this new threat, or whatever else you want - please use the above link as OOC only, unless you wish to declare intention to sign the treaty.

Also, for prospective members of the FGA, use this link (http://www.mylivesignature.com/mls_menu.php) to create a signature, if you don't have one.

All righty, then? Let's get it started!

Informing the people!

INC - Today, the people of Tigeria are rejoicing, for the fifty cycle-consuming goal we have striven for is now achieved. Representatives from 6 different stellar civilizations are set to meet in Tigeria for the signing of the Watchman Treaty, which proposes, in addition to the standard fare of pledging non-aggression, includes provisions for the creation of a new galactic alliance - the FGA. However, those in the know will recall CAGE, currently on its own way to being formed. Political pundits and the man on the street alike fear that our new alliance may very well place itself in the line of fire of the CAGE organization. So, is this alliance truly the wisest thing to enter? Parties on both sides can't agree whether the answer is yes or no. Most argue that the whole point of the treaty, to promote peace and advancement in all interested nations, is what we truly should be watching. However, a small number of naysayers declare that we are condemning ourselves to a planetary assault by some hostile force representing opponent alliances. Still, the official word of the Great Lord's cabinet is confidence that the treaty will be signed, and our planet will be propelled into a new dimension of peace and prosperity.

To all civilizations who expressed interest in signing the Watchman Treaty,

The signing ceremony is in five standard intervals*. This should give your representatives time to come to Tigeria. Your presence will be expected on your approach into Tigeria City; make sure to announce your affiliation and intentions, and you will be guided to a landing pad. The Government of the Immortal Lands of the Great Lord Tiger anxiously awaits your arrival. The Watchman Treaty is truly the wave of the future.

As soon as the annoucement was put out a Greywatch craft was on its way. Within a few hours of recieving the message, an explorer would appear in the system by PSR travel, aboard it being the diplomat/representative that would handle the affair.

This is Greywatch Explorer 227, we are here baring the diplomat and representative of Greywatch which will be handling the Watchman Treaty affair. We will shortly be deploying a shuttle and will await further instruction.

"My Lord, are you sure this is a sound choice? Going to sign the treaty yourself is a major security risk. These aliens-"

"Need us to show that we're going to follow the provisions in good faith. That is why I want to go in person." Emperor Forrix Riektal sat in large, ornate chambers aboard his flagship, the The Penitent Savior. He was traveling with a small flotilla of warships to ensure his security, and could be easily mistaken as a small fleet. As the member of an extremely long family line stretching back thousands of years, he was the culmination of Angenterian History and Culture. Now, the Holy Imperium was an empire of many star systems, all it's residents swearing loyalty to him. Massive armies and fleets did battle in his name, and died so they he may live on. And so it had been that way for thousands of years, and so it shall be for thousands of years in the future. They were approaching the homeworld of the Imglotian Empire, Tigeria.

"My Lord, we are dropping out of warp-space now."

"Excellent, prepare my shuttle."

"Yes, my lord."

A bunch of warp-holes opened up in the area of space, and the Angenterian ships came through.

People of the Imglot Empire,
This is the Angenterian ship The Penitent Savior. We are preparing to launch a shuttle to take our delegation down to the planet's surface. Stand by.
