Official Declaration of War
The Communist Commonwealth of the Shamoin Islands is offcially declaring war on Corrosia and her allies for the reasons listed below:

Preamble:
We, the Shamoin People, conduct this bold action in order to exact our revenge on those who have humiliated us, persecuted us, and effectively shunned us.

Article One:
A state of total war will exist between the Shamoin Island and the nations of:
The Parliamentary Democracy of Mykai
The Corporate Business Empire of Dectubech

The Military Kingdom of Xentri
The Disputed Territories of Somekindaplace
The Best Nation in Corrosia of Fuzznerdees
The Roman Legionary Consul of R539

This includes any of their puppets.

The allies of the Shamoin Islands and Interimo are also in alliegance to comply, which are stated below:
East Congeree
Bobs Massive Guns and his allies.

Article Three:
Understanding Shamoin Islands' probable chance of winning is less than 2% and that this will result in NO unconditional surrender and absolutely NO form of surrender, and in nation abandonment or possible annexation.

Article Four:
Understanding that WE are NOT the tyrants here and that WE didn't want this to come to this, we were forced upon this action.

Article Five:
Through many times of diplomatic negotiations, ones where Corrosia has either destroyed or promptly left the negotiations.

Conclusion:
Continuing that Corrosia must be dealt with.

Gerhard Lutzov was just about to walk into the news camera's view when his aide stopped him.

"Are you sure you want to do this mein fuhrer?" he asked, his face full of sorrow.

"Yes John, I'm sure." he replied.

He walked out onto the platform.

"My fellow Shamoins, I know that many of you agree with my descision to exact revenge on Corrosia. Well I'm here to tell you THAT I DO TOO."he bellowed. "I am also designating that ALL males from ages 10 up join the military. All who refuse will be SHOT without thought. Good night, god bless, and good luck."

The ON AIR light went off. The studio erupted in claps and whistles. But when he left, there was a little weeping boy on the corner.

Cyan Barack I laughed out loud when he heard the declaration of warfare. he turned around to face his chief adviser, Karfka, and asked "What is this, the third time they've tried it?"

"If memory serves and you count the time that only had one battle, then yes, I believe its the third. Lutzov just never learns does he?" responded Karfka, his eyes flashing at the mention of Gerhard Lutzov, the man he hated with every fiber of his being.

The Emperor gave another great laugh. "Call a war council," he ordered. "Also have messages sent to Salvatorius, Kutou Koku, Kryozerkia, and R539 to be sure they know what's going on. The council will meet in an hour."

Karfka bowed deep. "Yes, sire."

EDIT: Someone else who is not yet ready to join the war (Articoa) pointed out the flaw in Article Five to me. It states that Corrosia stopped Diplomatic Action. Not true. We initiated diplomatic action. We invited SI into Corrosia to give him a chance to make up for past crimes against us. If anyone stopped diplomatic action, it was him. Also, in Article four, it says that they aren't the tyrants, not true. Ask anyone on that list of his, they'll tell you.

OOC: Don't try that one on me you idiot, Ktuo Ktuo and Kyozerkia are noth Myaki's puppets. And if they don't come soon you'll be finished.

"Ha! They have to call a war council?" Lutzov bellowed. "All we simply do IS do what I say! Another flaw of a democracy."

"Yes sir, that is right sir," he aide responded. "What shall I direct the military to do?"

"Prepare a full scale invasion of Dectubech's most northern coast. But keep the heavy tanks and air support home," he replied.

"But sir! That will leave our soldiers as cannon fodder!" exclaimed the aide.

"And.....?" asked Lutzov.

"Right sir, yes sir." the aide replied while leaving.

"Ahh, it will be a good day in the Islands today, oh yes it will." he said to himself.

Aboard the S.S. Kazangrov off the coast of Dectubech.

"Send them ashore," said the commander, Adallf Schneider.

"Yes sir," replied the second-in-command. "All ashore thats going ashore!"

He watched with joy as the mega-transports rolled toward the shore. He was finally here, the day that all of his training had been about, the day he could fulfill his country's and his furher's order, Order 45.3. The Dectubech soldiers may be cutting down many of the Shamoin soldiers, but he knew that by the end of the day that they would be well inland reaking havoc throughout Dectubech. It was gonna take a hell of a lot to stop this invasion.

Sir Codenski, president for life, with benefits, of Articoa and Somekindaplace, watched satellite images of Dectubech's shore being overrun by Shamoin Forces. He was afraid of this.

"General Marxel!"

"Yes sir?"

"Prepare our navies, primarily battleships and our new stealth submarines. We can't bomb their ground troops withour harming Dect civilians, but we can sink and destroy Shamoin mega-transports."

"Right away sir! Do we send the carriers and destroyers as well?"

"No, we'll keep them back to protect ourselves."

"Alright sir!"

Articoan fleets (yes fleets, with an S) approached the Shamoin one stealthily under their radar jamming software. Articoan subs fired upon Shamoin mega-transports, cutting off their ground troops of reinforcements. Battleships fired upon their carriers. The only thing to worry about would be any aircraft they possessed, despite intelligence reports that their air force was stationed at home.

OOC: I've joined the fray. Come on Dect, we're finishing this! I'm proving my innocence in this claim of calling off negotiations!

OOC: Good rping everyone.

"Mein Furher!" yelled the aide.

"What is it?" Lutzov asked.

"The Articoans have sunk 4 out of 5 of our mega-transports sir!" he replied.

"God! Well, I guess send the aircraft carriers, without the transports the soldiers are death itself!"

"Yes sir." he said.

ooc: How'd you know we called a war council SI?

ic:

"Got em," crowed General Martin Gharg triumphantly. "The Shamoin forces have been deployed on shore. Not in the exact place we expected, but we can work around that. Our subs have been moved into place. They can now strike with impunity at the Shamoin ships, completely cutting them off. Plus, a group of 200 Decker 500 tanks are moving into the battle zone, as well as a fresh battalion of soldiers, armed with our new Decker 3000 machine guns. Once our reinforcements arrive, the battle is won."

Cyan Barack I nodded approvingly. He turned to Admiral Yakslov, who was in charge of the navy. "Are our ships ready to attack?" he asked.

"Of course, sire," nodded Yakslov. "Our ships are even now en route to the Islands, preparing to set up a blockade. We won't be able to hold it for long without help from other nations, but our ships should arrive within a week, and be able to hold up for about two months."

"Good," said the Emperor. "This war shall soon be won.

***

The subs moved stealthily through the water. "Targets in range" the call went off through the fleet. As one, the subs opened fire on Shamoin ships in an attempt to obliterate supply lines between the nations. If the attacking ships were destroyed, it would be quite easy to retake the coast.

Marcus Constantine was in his office when he noticed he had an email from Cyan Barack I. He quickly opened it as the subject was "WAR". When he finished reading it, he sent a message to Commander Alexander Romanov of the military.

Commander Romanov,

It is come to my attention via email that the nation of Dectubech as been invaded by the hostile nation of The Shamoin Islands. I order you to have the entire Air Force mobilized and sent to Dectubech's northern coast. Also have our 5 Nimitz class aircraft carrier sent to the coast to provide close support against the Shamoin navy.

-Marcus Constantine
Emperor of the Rchanian Empire

*******************************************

Romanov read his email and immediately followed Constantine's orders. The entire Air Force had been ordered to take off and set course for Dectubech. The first to arrive would be two squadrons of F-35s, armored with smart bombs and air-to-ground missiles. These would ensure that only Shamoin targets were engaged and destroyed. There was no hope for those poor soldiers.

1 hour later

The squadrons of F-35s arrived at the coast of Dectubech and armed their ordinance. They spotted the soldiers hunkered down on the beach and dropped their bombs. Scores* were incinerated by each bomb.

ooc - SI can't even keep my nations straight. "The Parliamentary Democracy of Mykai" does not exist; it is "The Parliamentary Democracy of Kryozerkia"; the prior is accurately known as "The United Commonwealth of Mykai". You can't even keep it straight. It's Mykai that's a puppet.

---- IC ----

Parliamentary Declaration of War
As issued by the current government of Kryozerkia
Unanimously passed by the House of Commons

The nation of Kryozerkia; a parliamentary democracy, hereby acknowledges the foolishly issued declaration of war by The Shamoin Islands and will show no mercy in dealing with this rogue nation. It shall experience the full force of the Kryozerkian military. No will mercy be granted albeit in cases of full unconditional surrender. In the case of unconditional surrender, the nation who surrenders will be treated as an aggressor nation but will be shown mercy and negotiations will commence. If the surrender is conditional, it will be accepted as a refusal to surrender and our military operations will not cease.

In the mean time, the allies, whether simply sitting on the side lines or directly involved are given permission from the current Kryozerkian regime to apply for Aerial and Sub-aero Space protection as well as Maritime Protection. Upon receiving the requests from these governments will our military deploy the appropriate forces which will serve to aid in protecting the vulnerable lands of our smaller allies who may wish to devote a good amount of their forces to this war.

As Mykai is a colony of Kryozerkia, the nation of Kryozerkia will not be sending in the limited militia power of the colony into war when the deployment of our own military will more than adequately suffice for the defence of Corrosia and Interimo. This colony and the colonies of our allies will be offered the same protection.

At this time, we are devoting our resources to this cause and are implementing rationing at a national level to ensure that there is no shortage should the war be prolonged. The intended purpose of rationing is to allow our military to make sure of our resources and to ensure that if our allies need help we can continue to provide that help. Our resources are finite but with careful planning these resources will aid our cause and win the war.

Although rationing will be introduced immediately, there will be no lowering of the age for military service. It will remain static at 18 years old. No one under that age will be recruited. No one over 18 who has a full time job or is attending school will be recruited. Those who are unemployed or employed part time will be given paid full time work with benefits within the military. They won't be necessarily sent into combat. They will serve to free up those who are in reserve and those who are otherwise trained to go serve on the front.

Once again, our allies are invited to petition our government for any form of help. Our vast resources and people-power is being designated for this cause. We will not allow The Shamoin Islands to foolishly act when Corrosia never once broke down diplomatic channels. Repairing damaged relations takes time. The Shamoin Islands does not recognise this, and as such, war has become a reality. With this in mind, we officially sever all diplomatic channels.

Economic embargoes and sanctions are hereby imposed on all goods going into that nation and part of our naval forces are being deployed to form a blockade around the nation of The Shamoin Islands. Our forces are being instructed to nor fire on civilian vessels but not to let them pass either. Neutral vessels will be detained until they can be cleared, and enemy vessels will be shot upon and sunk with no regard for those on board. For refugee vessels to be recognised, it must be a vessel from either a neutral nation or an ally who has been cleared. We do not trust unmarked vessels for these vessels may well be enemy vessels in disguise.

With that, the last of any diplomatic resolution is thrown out and war is the only way out.

Prime Minister S. Kane
Right Honourable MP
PMO of Kryozerkia

---------------

The Mechanised Infantry Division had been deployed within minutes of the official declaration of war being sent out. The Divisions had boarded the different carriers and were given the go ahead to attack the nation of The Shamoin Islands. They were ordered to show no mercy.

The pilots stood at the foot of their mecha unit and awaited orders. As the platoon lieutenant walked around, he ordered each of the pilots to board the mecha suit unit and file orderly onto the carrier. The carrier was set to be deployed within the hour. It was going to be escorted by a small group of Mechanised Marine Units, the Piscium X5, a sophisticated submarine unit with radar jamming capabilities and short ranged missiles. The carrier wasn't escorted by aerial units, which remained on standby for any incoming request from foreign allied governments.

The maritime units designated for the blockade at the time the MID were loading onto the carriers, were under going an en masse briefing; they were poised to be deployed later.

OOC: Anyways, I just bought a tactical nuke in case it comes as a surprise, hehe.

IC: Gerhard Lutzov was looking over the latest battle reports. "Well at least we got them all in it now," he muttered. "What about the troops in Dectubech?" he asked his aide.

"They are being beaten back by Dectubech's superior forces." he said.

"Good, have them conduct guerrilla warfare and kill ALL civilians they encounter, and to hold out as long as they can." he said.

"Yes mein Furher." replied the aide.

Lutzov could only think about the masses of Dectubech civilians lining up against a wall... AND BAM!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Somewhere inside Dectubech.

"What the?" is all the soldier could say before a shell tore through him.

"Not another one god dammit!" screamed Derek Vlosov, commander of what was left of the 43rd Heavy Artillery Division. The HAD had been fighting the Dectubech tanks who just kept rolling in, and this one would mark the 50th destroyed he hit it. He fired, and hit. The turret of the tank flew off, and the rest of the crew scrambled out. He let them run.

"Yea!" yelled he and what was left of the Division.

Just then at least 20 Dectubech civilians arrived, looking for water. He ordered the troops to give them some. But then he got an order directly from Lutzov:

****KILL ALL CIVILIANS****

"Well, the Furher must be obeyed," he said to the second in command.

"Yessir." he replied.

Derek looked away, and heard several rounds go off, screams, then nothing.

"That nuke had better get here soon..." he muttered.

Togat City: 10:15 am One hour after the declaration of war on Corrosia;

"Sir, what should we do? Dectubech's north shore is under attack. Defense from nearly all of Corrosia have been sent to the point of attack. Orders?" General Hyrulku's assistant asked to the General himself.

"Orders?" Hyrulku said. "They appear to have things under control for now. Ready the troops, and our Fleet. Especially the Stingers. Everyone should be on full alert. Aim our cannons toward the Shamoin Islands. And, last but not least, prepare the ATDM."

"The ATDM? Sir, it is our only one and we don't know if it is totally functional. Are you sure?"

"I said 'Prepare the ATDM.' Is that clear?"

"Yes sir." The assistant hurried off.

Space Destroyer 3:

The giant space laser moved slowly as it turned it's nose toward the Shamoin Islands. For the second time in history, it was aiming at this enemy. Not the exact location, but, same idea.

In four other spots, other cannons were doing the same thing.

*********************

Togat City Barracks: 11:00 a.m

The giant garage opened up to reveal the ATDM. The All Terrain Destruction Machine was the only of it's kind. Others were being built of course, but this was the first.

It's bulking form was the size of an average house. It stood on four legs with wheels. Two long, flat "spikes" protruded from it's back. Four Decker Tank cannon's were positioned on either side of it's nose. The rest of the vehicle was armor and smaller weapons, doors, or flaps.

As it rolled out of the building, it began to change. The "spikes" flattened out and lay horizontally on either side of the machine. The forward legs shortened, while the back two folded into the monster. Then jumbo jets from the wings, back and bottom of the ATDM ignited, boosting the machine into the air. The ATDM began it's trip towards Dectubech at approximately 25 mph.

The ATDM was a machine built to withstand thousands of powerful attacks in all terrains and be able to fight back. It was armed with all type of weapons equipped to destroy anything from a soldier to a tank to a submarine. It's ability to change forms made it even harder to destroy. It's flaws, however, were great. It cost trillions of dollars to build, and was really slow. It had one more flaw. You always saw it coming.

Commander Romanov,

Have the troops of all nations in the empire mobilized. You are to send 2/3 of the forces directly to The Shamoin Islands. Make sure they have close air support and that the beaches are bombarded for at least 48 hours beforehand. And have the Air Force attack, their instructions are later in this email. But after those two days, have the troops land via landing vehicles and parachutes. I want the enemy to be fighting on the beaches, not knowing that they are being flanked by paratroopers.

Have the other third sent to Dectubech to seek and destroy any troops that made it off the beaches and managed to not be killed by our bombs. Send them immediately to the front.

Secondly, have the Air Force attack the Shamoin mainland. Firstly, have them all grounded, but not at the same time so as not to compromise the mission, have them fuel and rearmed. Next, have every single B-52 bomber we have, loaded with anything that blows stuff up, dumb bombs, smart bombs, nukes, everything. I want the Shamoin Islands is shambles. Use all the fighters as support aircraft. Another thing, have the aircraft carriers completely encircle the Island to join the blockade of Kryozerkia. They will be used later for the bombing raid.

Lastly, have our three space battle cruisers engage the enemy from space. Two of them, The Omega and Andromeda are to directly attack the capital of the Shamoin Islands with their proton accelerator cannons (PACs). Have The Apollo attack specific hostile ground targets in Dectubech, to be specified by our troops.

I trust you to have this all done.

"Yes sir, the courier just arrived, although he was heavily wounded, he managed to get it to us before he died. But... we don't know how to use it." he said.

"WHAT?!?!?!" screamed Derek. "So are you telling me that he just died because we DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE IT?"

"Yes sir, sorry sir." said the second in command, Virginia Thompson. (yes a girl) I did take some demolition classes though, if I look at it closely I may be able to figure it out."

Fort Blagg
50 km Northwest of Kerzoika

Prime Minister Kane had flown from the House of Commons in the heart of old Kerzokoia in the historical Heritage District to Fort Blagg, the largest MID Base in Kryozerkia to give a briefing to a group of commanding officers, including the famous and well-received 5-star general, General Reid Calvin. General Calvin had humble roots as a nearly-illiterate street boy who had once had the honour of standing before a judge who looked deep into the eyes of the boy and offered him a second chance to make something of himself.

General Calvin was the first to receive the Prime Minister when she landed at the base. He had greeted her as she disembarked from the plane and purposefully escorted her along with two others. The small entourage travelled about a kilometre through the base before arriving at their destination.

The Prime Minister wore a form-fitting power suit - the latest trend. The pencil line skirt came just above the knee and the blazer accentuated her curves. Affixed to the collar of the blazer was a national flag on the right and on the left breast the ribbons belonging to the Prime Minister, designating the wearer as highest ranking military official.

Several minutes of needless formalities, the gathered commanders quieted down as Prime Minister Kane approached the podium. The room was dimly lit, with the light of the projector hitting her, placing a petite silhouette on the screen behind her. On the screen a simple summary was shown, in which the minutes of the briefing were listing, beginning with a mission outline, including objective.

In her left hand she held a small switch that upon being pressed advanced the screen in the presentation.

"Thank you for getting our MID platoons deployed even before the basic logistics conference. Your timeliness is appreciated."

Clearing her throat she then turned her attention to the screen. "This is the most recent acquisition and compilation of intelligence that the KNIA has returned to us within the last few days. As the highest ranking officers know we began reconnaissance missions when it became obvious that relations were on the decline. This information has been gathered over a period of time.

"This includes an analysis of the geography and the topology of The Shamoin Island. Intelligence indicates that terrain isn't going to be an issue for our MID platoons. Climate may be an issue. They're a northern nation which has volatile weather. It may cause delays since our mechanised units move slower in cold weather, though their shields do partially compensate for this design flaw.

"The land due to its size often sees people cramped into tight quarters and with the limited space, collateral damage will be inevitable. We will attempted to keep it to a minimum but anyone who fires a gun will be considered fair game.

"Nevertheless, this is not an open invitation to use side-winding and short range air to surface missiles. Those are to be deployed to eradicate enemy forces that are appearing in droves."

She paused. Glancing around the room she inhaled and continued, "Our land mission is simple: take their city. There is no other option.

"Softening the armed forces of The Shamoin Islands won't be necessary with our allies cleaning up the worthless corpses Lutzov is throwing away. He'll keep sending waves and waves, we'll plough onto his city. Resistance is to be met with force. Spare no one.... HOWEVER! Citizens demonstratively unarmed will be given the benefit of a doubt and will not be fired on."

The briefing continued for a bit longer.

Afterward in the sanctuary of the command room, Kane turned to Calvin and requested, "which of our missiles do you think we should send to Lutzov... with love?"

Smiling coyly, the general remarked, "There's no doubt about it. Release the Wrath of St. Florence..."

Ears perked up. No one could believe it. The Wrath of St. Florence was a 'special' gift from Farflorin to Kryozerkia, with the condition attached to it that, "this be used to erase the evil of the past". No one knew what it would do. The Kryozerkians had accepted it from its former province reluctantly. The only instruction given was that it was to be stored in a silo.

Kane glanced slyly at Calvin. "Tell Lutzov to stick his head between his legs and kiss his ass goodbye."

The ATDM approached the south side of SI with a slow, steady pace. It was heading for the coastline. Here, it would land 2,000 infantry, 500 tanks, and 600 of the elite Stingers. The results would be disastrous. Only, the pilot's had gotten word that the island was going to be bombed. So, instead, it would land in the water and speed toward the north side to wait out the bombing.

Meanwhile the lasers way up in space were given the order to fire. A flash of light and four solid beams of greenish light shot from the nose of each cannon. All heading for the Shamoin Islands.

Marcus Constantine thought about the current events in his office in Constantine Palace, right in the center of Byzantium II. He suddenly realized that he should send an email Prime Minister Kane of Kryozerkia. Constantine sat down behind his computer and began to type:

Esteemed Prime Minister Kane,

I have ordered all of my aircraft carriers to join your blockade of The Shamoin Islands. They are carrying planes, some of which are vital to my current operations. I have also ordered my Navy to bombard the beaches and inland areas of said nation. They will need access to pass through your blockade in order to do so. My Air Force has also been instructed to drop "anything that blows stuff up" on the nation in question. I plan to completely level anything that stands even one story above the ground. Following, will be a full scale invasion via landing craft and drop-zones.

I ask that your admirals grant mine access to the islands and that my carriers are allowed to join your blockade. I almost forgot to tell you about this, but I'm glad I remembered as it is vital that I did. I would hate for my operations to be delayed by any issues that would arise from not informing you.

Thank you for any compliance to the above statements,

OOC: Salv, how can you fit 2,000 trops in a house-sized machine? AT-TEs would be the closest comparison to your, um, death machine, and that can fit maybe 40, tops I believe. Anyway, the war goes on.

IC: Codenski, who had been rather inactive with the war, simply protecting the coast of Dectubech with his navy, and sending a few battleships and carriers to help in the blockade, realized he needed to help his allies more.

While they had decided to use mechs and star ships to fight the enemy, there was one thing Articoa had that could trump all: The Moon Cannon. Built on the not dark side of the moon, opposite R-chanian shipyards, the moon cannon was a massive laser cannon built within the moon's crust. Its power could literally obliterate an entire county in one shot, perfect for erradicating a tiresome enemy. Sadly, according to international laws, Codenski couldn't simply hit the red buttin without consent of other nations. It was now he would need to send the request to other leaders.

Dear esteemed leaders,

Though this war has been and quick, and for the most part painless, I feel as if I have not contributed enough to the conflict. I ask you for permission to use The A-2MC (Articoan Moon Cannon 2nd Edition). Despite bombings and planned assaults on their cities and capital, this weapon will wipe their builings and men from the face of the earthm and take out Lutzov for good. We could save countless lives of our soldiers with this. If you decline, I respect your decision, and will instead contribute my armies and full Air Force for an invasion.

Many thanks,
Sir Codenski of Articoa

IC:

Sir Codenski of Atricoa,

I would prefer to not take such action. I would personally like to destroy The Shamoin Islands the fair way, with PACs (particle accelerator cannons). They are much smaller, but I have 20 aimed right for said nation and they are currently being charged. I would also like to go through with the invasion I have planned.

Constantine made his intentions clear to Codenski. He wanted his name going in the history books for destroying The Shamoin Islands. Him and his superior military forces and strategy would be studied for ages like those of Ceaser and Napoleon.

Running in, a young officer was waving two pieces of paper above his head. Upon seeing the Prime Minister, the officer ran over and handed her the pages, which were given but the briefest of glance overs before they were passed over to General Calvin who was given orders to address it.

"Lutzov... stick you fucking ugly head between your legs and kiss your worthless ass good---night!"

And with that she slammed her fist into the button, her eyes trained on the monitor. The top of the silo opened slowly and the 'gift' rose up. Time slowed downed. All eyes were turned to this. No one knew what to expect...

Dectubech
04-10-2008, 02:33
Now that most of the invading Shamoin soldiers had retreated to try and use guerrilla tactics to tire the defenders, Dectubech's super troops, Tracker Marines, had been deployed to route the invaders. The TM's were the elite of the Dectubech army, spies and soldiers both. They were masters at almost all forms of warfare, and the perfect counter to guerrilla tactics.

***

Giant Airships transported the bulk of the Dectubech army to the Shamoin islands, dropping the entirety, all 9,700 soldiers and 3,600 tanks, on the capital Island to sow chaos and destruction. These soldiers were armed with Decker 3,000 machine guns, advanced weapons that had bullets that could lock on to a target with only a 3% chance of missing the target. The tanks were the ultimate Dectubech technology and the amount that had been sent, if used as one body, could destroy three heavily guarded Metropolises without being destroyed. These forces would spread out and surround the capital, then siege it and prevent Lutzov from escaping once more.

***

After a short debate, Cyan Barack agreed to Articoa's firing of the moon cannons.

Dear Codenski,

The Dectubech War council has decided to approve your use of the moon cannon on the Shmaoin Islands. We request that you attack heavily populated Islands, but not the capital Island, for our forces have recently been deployed there and are setting up a siege of the capital to keep Lutzov from escaping while we wait for Kryozerkia to finish him off.

Best regards, Cyan Barack.

"Latest inteligence says that Dectubech has just invaded The Shamoin Islands."

"Son of a bitch, I was just going to soften them up, now Barack goes messing up all my plans? I probably should have told him, but I didn't think he was going to attack so soon. Now get the fuck out of my office!" Constantine was about to explode from anger.

He sat down at his computer again and began an email to Romanov.

Commander Romanov,

Call off the bombers, Dectubech has invaded The Shamoin Islands. Get the troops there as fast as you can. Also, have the fighters fly close air support for their troops.

-Constantine

He also wrote one to Cyan Barack.

Thanks a lot, I was going to bomb the shit out of them, now I can't because you went in. I was to level everything within two days, but now all plans are off and I must send my troops. I sent fighters to fly close air support.

-Constantine

Constantine was so pissed off, he didn't even properly address Barack.

Dear Constantine,

That's why you warn people. Considering I was attacked, I think I have the right to a counterattack. Do you object to that? I'm still more than strong enough to defeat Shamoin on my own, although i welcome help. And there is more than one island. Attack the others. He's an archipelago, there's plenty of targets. Just avoid the capital. And you will NOT get all credit for the defeat of this fool. It's not like such a feat is tough to accomplish.

Watch your mouth: from Cyan Barack.

The mystery missile soared from the silo.

In mission control; in the heart of the command centre Prime Minister felt a tap on her shoulder and the general pushed the paper back in front of her face. "Tell me, where are we sending that little gift?"

"To the capital. With love."

"You should read this..."

Taking the piece of paper from her general, Prime Minister muttered to herself as she read it over. She then passed it back. "They can have the scraps from this trashed buffet. The missile's already en route. They can have the charred remains of whatever is there."

"But! What if..."

"They are going to wait for our attack to hit. I don't see why you're panicking. It's poetry in motion."

"It's a disaster is what it is! We don't even know what this bomb does!"

"We'll know in just minutes and then we can report back to the Farflorinians about the results of their field test."

"Now we're their fucking guinea pigs?"

"It could be worse."

"How?"

"I could ask General Hendrick to be my first in command."

"But ma'am, he's a drunk!"

"And a pill popper... everyone knows."

Colonel Fralin waled amongst the troops, observing their fortifications. They had cut down trees and set them up in a strategic wall all around the perimeter of the capital. There were slots in the trees that soldiers could fire out of, and even areas that the tanks could fire from. Turrets and AA guns were being put into place on top of the wall. Thus far, they had met no Shamoin interference. It looked like the siege perimeter would be set up without a hitch.

His phone beeped, and his monocle turned into a computer screen. An e-mail from the Emepror popped up stating that Kryozerkia had launched their surprise missile. He immediately gave the troops very specific orders.

"Pull everyone back behind the barricade. Have the army retreat another half mile. Leave a few soldiers, just enough to make it look as though we're prepared and our whole army is ready. I suppose we should leave out a few workers to make final adjustments, but no more than forty. Move people, move!"

The deployed carriers arrived at the blockade. They had been given orders to hang back and provide support to the blockade until after the way was cleared. Only after word verified that the gift was received, would the be able to head into any non-main islands. They were given orders to leave the main island to the Dectubechian armed forces. Barack was not a man to be questioned nor trifled with, even if their prime minister often walked a fine line with that man.

All was quiet. The carriers floated. The Piscium X5 units patrolled beneath the waters. The commanders and their rank and file troops aboard the numerous carriers were on deck. The were watching inland. Overhead the long range intercontinental missile soared en route for the capital city of The Shamoin Islands.

The sky above the islands was clear save for a few sparsely spread out clouds. The sun peaked out partially from behind a large white cloud. A few birds cawed and flew over head. Land wasn't far off.

On the deck outside of the one of the carrier's mobile command centres, stood a lieutenant from the Farflorin militia. He was on assignment and had requested a spot aboard the carrier. In the days that preceded the rush to war he had met with Prime Minister Kane and had requested that she use their highly classified and secret technology in the inevitably war with The Shamoin Islands. A small smile caressed his lips as he heard the call warning that the missile was soon to arrive. He raised his binoculars as the missile soared over head bound for its destiny. He wanted to watch the impact but this was as close as one could get given the unpredictable nature of Farflorinian technology. He followed the incoming missile with his gaze. Impact was imminent and soon they would witness the outcome of this field test.

The once peaceful horizon soon was lit up with the explosion from the impact of the bomb. A large cloud rose from the impact.

'So, it was biochemical weapon after all.' He lowered his binoculars. 'Only such a combination could light up a sky so brilliantly in the middle of the day. One can only imagine the chaos on the ground...'

He pulled out a clipboard and read over the notes. It seemed that there had been three different versions of the wrath. One used nuclear technology. There was another that strictly employed a biological agent. It was a hybrid of a common airborne bacteria with the same string of virus found in the Bubonic plague. The last one, the Wrath of St. Florence that had been fired off employed biochemical technology, using a simple bacteria culture that would attack the wounds inflicted by the a special compound chemical developed by Farflorinian scientists. Test revealed that exposure to the compound would cause human flesh to fester and wound to open. The bacteria could enter through those wounds...

And that's just its core effect on the human population. The compound chemical in tests prove to be lethal to unguarded water supplies, such as water tables, rivers and other sources.

ooc - I'll leave all land attacks to Dect as well as recon for outcome. The blockade will be our focus.

General Romerto, commander of the Articoan Moon Cannon, read his e-mails forwarded from Sir Codenski.

"So, Constantine doesn't want us to fire, but Barack will allow us to fire on smaller islands. Alright, Zack, hit the red button!"

"Yes sir!" yelled Zack, chief button pusher on the moon cannon.

Loud groanings of metal were heard all across the base as a massive particle laser cannon, at least 300 meters in length came out of the moon's sheel. The outer hatch doors opened to reveal it to the entire world.

"What's out target, sir?" asked Zack.

"Fire on one of their smaller islands, sink it to the bottom of the earth! Kryozerkia can have their main island."

The six generators of the base came to max power as the cannon charged its shot.

"Target locked on the island of Shamboda."

"Excellent, FIRE!"

A shot of pure red energy feel from the moon upon the small island. People ran but to no avail. Homes, businesses, army barracks, trees, everything disappeared. The island evaporated in front of the navies of the allied nations. Water rished around the remains. It was if nothing had ever been there.

"Now, where should we fire next?" asked Romerto.

"Well, sir, it doesn't matter, we need three hours for the power to recharge."

"Fine, I'll ask someone else for a target."

The Grey House shook with fury.

"What the &$@!" screamed Lutzov. "What the hell was that?"

"Sir we have just received reports that the Salva ADTM is heading toward us. What shall we do?" asked the aide.

"Well, we could use our people nuke," replied Lutzov.

"But sir that is meant for cities only!" shouted the aide. "That's against the rules of war!"

"Do you really think that Dectubech or anyone would play by the rules of war after our massacre of Dectubech civilians?" asked Lutzov harshly.

"No, but we should use the tactical nuke!" screamed the aide getting angrier and angrier.

"No no, that is already in Dectubech," Lutzov said. "We need to use it NOW."

"But sir---yes sir," said the aide reluctantly and left the room.

Lutzov turned on the TV, and automatically saw hundreds upon hundreds of Shamoins being blasted apart by the ATDM's cannons. Well, it won't be long now, that ATDM will be scrap, along with it's passengers. He looked at the plane's camera carrying Shamoin Island's only hope, and it went white, along with a blast that hurt his eardrums.

"Good bye Salvatorius, you are out of this war." he muttered.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fred Hierder read over his latest orders in the Lutzov Airbase.

"Alright then people, mount up!" he shouted. "Our intelligence has received reports from our spy in R539 indicate that an aircraft attack is on it's way, and it's our job to stop 'em."

"Huzzah!" screamed the pilots. They rushed over to their planes and one by one went up, and lastly, Fred did. He could see those lumbering R-chan planes with some fighter escort with them.

"Alright! Let 'em have it boys!" he screamed into the mic.

He got over 150, "Yes sirs!". He could only help but cry, it was the day for victory.

Back at the command centre in Fort Blagg, General Calvin turned to the prime minister. He placed the receiver back on the control panel. "Intelligence from the front says that the missile hit land. He couldn't say what..."

There was a brief pause. "He also said that this was the biochemical missile we release."

"The chaos will be spilling out on the streets and soon we will face retaliation." the prime minister mused as she watched the screen. After another moment of silence she turned to the general. "Deploy our anti-ballistic missile defence shield and get all cities on the line, ordering them to evacuate where possible, and if not to get civilians into the mass underground shelters built in our cities."

"Yes ma'am!" He saluted her. He knew Lutzov hadn't issued attack orders again Kryozerkia yet but it was prudent to act in advance to avoid any collateral damage that might come as a result. He had seen unprepared nations in war. It did not go hand in hand with victory. A small cost of inconvenience for the safety of the masses.

She waved at him. "You make sure the cities are ready to comply and that units stationed nearby are raised to alert red." She turned on her heel and headed for the exit. "I have a nation to rally."

The ATDM was currently deployed in the water, bombing the shore. Now it began to change again, lifting into the air. It sped toward land, and perched itself behind Dectubech's troops.

The 2,000 troops marched out in formation and set up with Dectubech's troops.

Colonel Damon sent a messages to Colonel Fralin, asking permission to use his formations.

With the soldiers deployed, the ATDM transformed again, becoming a giant tunneler. Its drill opened up and dug into the soft island soil.

Before it could escape, a nuke of some kind flew into it, obliterating all but the pilot's chamber. He sat in his crystal chamber and slowly looked outside, a look of horror on his face. The chamber rocked gently. Then the man gulped and climbed out.

The Stinger pilot's watched as the ATDM was obliterated. They saw the power of the bomb that had destroyed it. Now it was time to fight back.

They spread out in smaller groups, making them harder targets. They had been given orders to attack the capital. So they would. The elite jets shot off towards the city, intent on destruction.

The green lasers smashed into the Shamoin islands capital.

OOC: sorry for the SKP post. And thanks for the clarification Salva.

Articoan military command was having an awful day today. Orders and commands flew over the air to various people.

"Get me those status reports!"

"Get our citizens safe, now!"

"Prepare a naval bombardment on the main Shamoin Island, we can't see them, but we can hit them. We need to make sure Dectubech command can pull out as many men as possible before they get massacred by Shamoins or the missle's effects. I want AAF fighters with R-chanian pilots as well, they need the help!"

"What about the moon cannon, can't we just-?"

"Not an option, one of the vital generators is down."

"That thing is such a waste of taxpayers' money."

------------------------------------------------

The commands were sent to the bases and battlefronts.
Articoan fighters began their intercept mission on the Shamoin air force, hoping to stop the bleeding before R539's forces were battered.

"Head's up! We got crop dusters!" came the squadron leader's voice over the radio. "Get into positions, start with machine guns, don't use up your missles."

The fighters teared into the Shamoin forces, quickly taking down 30 of theirs, losing only 5 of their 40.

"Any confirmation for Rchanian forces?"

"Negative sir."

"Damn, the Shamoins have 150, we'll lose if we don't get support."

-----------------------------------------------------------

Meanwhile, on the landing site of Dectubech's party, camouflaged Shamoins open fired on everything. No one could see them, but Articoa just kept with their old strategy: "Shoot at anything." Thirty battleships began to launch shells on the beach, not targeting at all, hoping they were hitting something. Explosions and random appearances of fallen bodies confirmed their hopes.

One gunner was slightly confused, "Admiral Sarcozy, are you sure we aren't just hitting Dect troops?"

"Nonsense, those running dots are Dect troops. Shamoin troops are the ones you can't see."

"That makes no sense."

"I know, but it's working."

Orders arrived in to the front lines from Fort Blagg. The first wave of MID platoons were to leave their carriers and lend ground-aerial support to the Articoan forces. The MID platoons were stationed in the short landing strip on the carrier and were given the clear to take off, each following their platoon commander who led each MID platoon in a Juno-HX8 unit; a sleeker edition of the mech unit, with a smaller cockpit and radar jamming technology. Like the previous generation units of Hera-VX2s, it had modest aerial abilities; with energy supplied from fusion cells to allow the units to fly over land at a low altitude and engage in both aerial and land combat.

Each platoon comprised of 25 units, each piloted by a single soldier, with a back up pilot to take control of logistics and to monitor the display panel and wait for incoming commands.

The platoon leader of 45th MID of Kryozerkia flew his Juno-HX8 in and paged the squadron leader of the allied squadron. "This is Sergeant Liyts of the 45th MID. Intelligence indicates that your forces are struggling. Orders from Blagg are that we were to locate the nearest allied forces, and that our platoon is to fall under your command."

"They keep sending more in, we need- AHHH!" a pilot said as he was shot down.

Orek's Falcons, being bolstered with another 20 fresh fighters, now totaling 58, recieved a transmission from Kryozerkian forces.

"This is Sergeant Liyts of the 45th MID. Intelligence indicates that your forces are struggling. Orders from Blagg are that we were to locate the nearest allied forces, and that our platoon is to fall under your command."

"Thank you, Sergant. This is Colonel Orek or Orek's Falcons. We request the 45th help in our defense of Rchanian bombers on their way to the Shamoin Islands. These Shamoin crop dusters are easy shots, but they just keep coming!"

"The bomb is down, go go go!" Screamed Fralin with fierce intensity as the aftermath of the bomb cleared away. The soldiers allied and rushed forward, openng gates in the barricade and streaming towards the capital. Almost 500 tanks and 2,500 soldiers crashed downwards to the capital of the Shamoin Islands. They merged with the forces from Salvatorius and swirled around the outer edge of the capital. For almost an hour, battle raged as the troops tried to penetrate the capital, scores of soldiers falling under enemy fire, and just as many, hopefully more, of the enemy falling under allied fire.

The fighters from Salvatorius were wreaking havoc in the city, but still they could not break through. A while back, Fralin and the troops had watched with horror as the ATDM was nuked out of existence. The attackers had faltered then, and fallen back, but they quickly returned to the assault with ferocious intensity.

Despite the strength of the attack, Fralin knew that even if they breached the city, the soldiers would be too weak to finish off the city. "Fall back," he ordered. "Behind the barricade! We'll dig in and wait for them to come to us so we can slaughter 'em." Fralin sent a request to Colonel Damon, asking for him to withdraw his troops and bring in some more reinforcements.

4,500 soldiers, 500 tanks, and the ATDM came close to breaking through, but not quite there. Hopefully, if we wait a day, the aftereffects of the weapon from kryozerkia could take effect and weaken Shamoin forces to the point where they could be overrun with ease. thought Fralin as the barricade doors closed and his men took up defensive positions, ready to fight against a counter-attack. Many troops ran to Articoan ships to escape the wrath of their bombs, but enough stayed to pen in Shamoin troops and keep Lutzov from escaping yet again.

There was a brilliant flash of light. All the soldiers engaged in the battle at the capital spun around to stare at the mighty city as the might of the PACs smashed down upon the Grey House. When the blast ended, the Grey House and all the area around it were no more. The soldiers gaped for a moment, and then as one, rushed forward, screamed a mighty war cry, and attacked the city, taking the guards by surprise and slaughtering dozens before anything could be done. The perimeter buckled under the onslaught from the merciless Dectubech troops, and then slowly, slowly... broke. Resistance crumbled as the troopers gained access to the city. Tanks leveled everything, soldiers slaughtered the enemy, and the once mighty city slowly began to be reduced to shambles.

Fralin led a squad of TMs through the city to the crater where the Grey House had once stood. At this final proof of victory, a cheer erupted from the throats of the troops, as they clapped each other on the back. Fralin opened a link to Cyan Barack and babbled hysterically, "We won, we won! Derek's soldiers couldn't believe what they were hearing. It was over. All over. All the things they had been fighting for, gone.

"I-I'm sorry boys. All the things you have done, all the things our Furher has done, is gone. It was a good fight. You did your best." he said.

"Perhaps not," said the second-in-command. "We do still have that nuke. We could still use it."

"Did you figure out how to use it?" he asked her.

"Yes," she replied.

"Well then by god let's use it!" he screamed. "We ARE only 10 miles away from the capitol."

"Yes sir, move out!" she screamed and the last 23 soldiers picked up their gear and their last tank and left the woods.

Later.

"I'll need around 2 minutes to set up the bomb, I'll be lost in the blast so when I radio back the code word, leader, you NEED TO BE OUT OF THE CITY." she said.

"Yes, I understand, do it for our lost Furher." Derek said.

"I will sir."

The soldiers burst into the city. Although they had orders to shoot civilians, they spared the ones on the streets to conserve ammo. The Dectubech civilians were cheering, they thought we were Dectubech soldiers! But the marines there knew better and started shooting the Shamoins. The second-in-command snook off and soon the soldiers were already retreating. When they got out of the city they heard only this:

"Leader"

The city virtually exploded before their eyes. Pieces flew towards them and a great mushroom cloud erupted from the ashes. Derek had tears in his eyes. It was over.

When the soldiers went to surrender, word was already spreading about them and what they had done. As the Shamoins walked into captivity, they were all gunned down. Later, as the Dectubech soldiers took away the bodies, there was a Sergeant with a smile on, all the way to the end.

Fralin boarded the Airships and his men mingled with the reinforcements, swelling their ranks to 15,000 soldiers and 4,300 tanks. There were also 300 TMs.

The ship gave a great lurch and lifted slowly off the ground, rising high into the sky to carry troops to other islands. As the ships sailed away from the capital, Fralin glanced down at the burning wreckage of the once great Shamoin Capital. The Dectubech troops had toppled every building and set light to whatever they could. As he watched, small explosions initiated all over the city as the flames reached gasoline. He then walked to the front of the ship where the wreckage of the Grey house had been stored.

Very little had been spared from R539's particle accelerators. But some mangled corpses and remnants of structures had been found. All bodies had undergone testing. Fralin paused in front of one, the only body that still had pieces of the face left. Lutzov. From what Fralin could discern of the man's ruined face, it appeared that his last expression had been a snarl of rage, defiance, and contempt. The man who had caused the nations of Corrosia so much grief for so long had finally fallen. Gerhard Lutzov was no more. Perhaps with his death, the remnants of the Fozcrian Empire would lose their hostility against Corrosia.

Fralin turned and walked away. We can only hope, he thought. We can only hope...

--- IC ---

While carriers waited in the waters, near the innumerable naval vessels serving up a heft dose of a good old fashion naval blockade aimed at furthering economic sanctions and embargoes against the renegade nation of The Shamoin Islands, two MID platoons served along side the formidable Articoan forces to push back the menace that was The Shamoin Island aggressors.

There were small explosions on the ground. Live fire occassionally flared up into the sky, causing the small reconnaissance group from the 51st MID piloting Apollius-TX3, mech units whose collective specialisation was cloaking technology, which enabled them to get into enemy and rival territory with little trouble. The 51st MID was force to reconsider its route to the capital city of The Shamoin Islands as it dodged several rounds of incoming live fire that often seem to go astray.

The Apollius-TX3 units were significantly smaller than their counterparts in other areas of the land-aerial combat armed forced. Each unit required a single pilot. The cockpit had fewer bells and whistles. There was defensive technology built in but no offensive technology. It was a matter of simply navigating the small and sleeker mech unit rather than focusing on combat as well as manoeuvres.

As they approached, each pilot changed the settings in the cockpit's control panel to decrease their flight speed to make aerial reconnaissance of the city easier.

The small unit, flying in formation, low to the ground approached the city. They hadn't been prepared for what they were about to witness. They had only known that Kane was going to fire off one of the three mystery missiles in the Kryozerkian's possession. No one knew what the capabilities of these missiles were.

The unit landed on the ground and engaged land mode, which enabled the mech units to walk. It continued to move in formation, each pilot unable to fully comprehend the extent of the damage. They were fighters; men and women of the army yet no military training, no matter how intense or desensitising in nature could have prepared them for the sights that lay before them.

Charred, hollowed out ruins of buildings. Corpses everywhere. Yet they were no where near the epicentre. Or were they? There was no way of knowing until a full analysis on the extent of the damage was complete. The unit continued to mvoe through the ruins. Move amongst the bodies. Each pilot wondered if there were any survivors.

The wind blew through and scattered debris.

From behind the mangled, twisted remains of a melted down fence staggered out a young teenager, no more than thirteen. His flesh was blistering from the effects of the missile. He was dazed and didn't appear to know what had happened.

The commander was the first to speak. "Holy fucking shit...."

OOC: I'll use my bombing raid that was never used.

Constantine was flying in his private B-1 to Constantine AFB. The Shamoin Islands should have realized their defeat. Constantine thought, No I have to wipe them off the map. I was hoping it wouldn't come to this, but I guess I must.

He pulled out his PDA and called Commander Romanov. "Romanov, listen, you must have all the bombers loaded with Hydrogen bombs."

"Why, isn't the war over?"

"No, it's not. The Shamoins attacked Dectubech's capital. We can't really return the favor now as their capital is no more, but we can wipe them off the map."

"What?! They still want to fight?"

"Yes, so now you must have two bombs dropped on each island, no matter how small, but put a couple extra on the biggest islands. All clear?"

"Yes Sir, all's loud and clear."

"OK then, goodbye." Constantine hit the end button and pondered the destruction that would be dealt to The Shamoin Islands. They would be completely destroyed.

He then began an email to all the leaders of the coalition. It would be sent to each one of them.

Esteemed leader,

Withdraw all of your troops from the islands unless you never want to see them again. You have two hours and thirty minutes to evacuate your troops. After that time, the islands will be no more, along with any troops left behind on the islands.

Constantine arrived at Constantine AFB, to see the H-bombs being loaded into B-52s. They would be taking off in an hour. In the meantime, the rest of the Air Force was in the air and ready to escort the bombers to the islands.

*******************************************************************************************

The blockade surrounding The Shamoin Islands

The 5 Nimitz aircraft carriers and the 7 others were preparing their flight decks. All aircraft were ordered to attack any anti-aircraft positions scattered over the islands. They would be taking off immediately to soften up the islands before they were to be destroyed by the bombers. Their mission was to take the entire hour before the bombers were in the air. They would then intercept the bombers and provide extra escort.

Any resistance from the islands would be futile. Their fate was sealed, they would be nothing left but water after the islands were bombed. The islands would be gone forever, the ocean would take their places.

ooc: One more thing, how did Islands get through a Kryozerkain AND Articoan naval/air blockade? We're covering his piece of rock pretty damn well, I'd say. Also points to Section 3.

IC: Admiral Sarcozy recieved Constantine's email. Realizing his fleets were stationed too close to the island, and would suffer casualties, he ordered a small retreat further back into open water. At least now the ships wouldn't get hit by the fallout.

He also recieved a transmission from Sir Codenski:

Despite R539's air force covering their bombers, I still want to send Orek's Falcons for additional support. Keep your ships back. I have a plan in case the bombs fail.

Sarcozy followed orders, and sent Orek's personal elite fighter squadron for escort. They probably wouldn't even be needed.

What did Codenski mean by "I have a plan" earlier? Sarcozy thought.

-------------------------------------------

Sir Codenski was not pleased. He had sunk countless Oreos (Articoan currency) into the A-1MC and A-2MC. R539 had destroyed the first. Now, the second had suffered faulty power supplies earlier. Articoan technicians believed they had fixed the problem, a field test would have to prove that. He was now standing on the main targeting deck with General Romerto at his side.

"Can we fire on the Shaoin Islands' main island with this, before the bombs?" asked Codenski to chief button pusher, Zack.

"No sir, the moon cannon won't be ready. Plus, it might hurt the other nations' egos. BUT, we minght have to be the ones to clean up the rubble."

"Gah....fine, I hate waiting. We'll see how things develop down back on earth."

The bombers had been fueled and were preparing to take off. Only 7 more bombers had to be loaded with their Hydrogen bombs and fuel.

The carrier aircraft had destroyed almost every single AA position, managing to lose only 17 jets. They were still sweeping up a few that they had missed and were preparing to intercept the bombers that would soon be en route.

The chief Admiral of the Rchanian fleet, stationed in the blockade, had received a transmission from Admiral Sarcozy, saying that the Orek's Falcons would be joining the escort.

All was set for the bombing raid.

The 51st MID platoon was jolted back to reality when the control panels in each of their cockpits began to beep intermittently. The screen in each of the cockpits lit up and the commanding officer from the carrier fleet appeared on screen.

"Greetings 51st MID; Sergeant. We have just received intelligence about an incoming raid by Dectubechian and R-chanian forces. Don't bother to sweep the area. Just get the fuck out of there before you become a blood statistic! This is Colonel Halladay over and out!"

As fast as the colonel made his appearance on each of the screens, that was as fast as he vanished. His message was short, albeit not sweet, and to the point. The sergeant heading the small token recon force tapped into the all-way communications wave and engaged all his troops.

"You heard Halladay, we've got to get out! We can comb the area later for information. Right now, we don't have much choice!"

The troops were quiet. Their silence was compliance and hence construed as unconditional acceptance of orders. They had no time to leave. Recon would have to wait. So would the search for any survivors. They would never know the true extent of the damage that their missile caused.

The boy on the ground wavered, his legs were weak. The boy didn't seem aware of his surroundings. His arms were extended in front of him. His hands were grasping at nothingness. His hair was matted to his blood splattered face. His whole body shook as he walked through the chemical waste land what must've once been his beloved neighbourhood.

"Hello? Any one?"

There was a weak voice heard amongst the deafening silence on the ground.

"What...what's happening?"

The boy continued to glance around utterly dazed.

Pressing a button to page the pilot nearest him, the sergeant curtly orders, "fuck... Corporeal Johnson, put that blighter out of his misery!"

"But sir, he's unarmed!"

"Aw hell, I'll do it myself!"

Pressing a button that slowly opened the cockpit door, the sergeant stood up and peered out down at the ground where the boy was wandering. Drawing out a gun, he closed one eye and peered down the sights. Without feeling an ounce of remorse; this was the enemy after all, the sergeant pulled the trigger, firing a bullet at the boy's head.

It wasn't clear if the bullet did hit. The boy did fall to the ground. The dust and air was thick; the ground was covered in mud and debris. It was hard to tell if the boy was bleeding profusely from any wounds or has collapsed before the bullet struck...

The air was polluted with the unknown chemical from the missile. All sorts of bacteria was in the air. Even the shortest of seconds and any exposure to it was enough to inflict even the greatest damage. The man's skin upon coming in contact with the air had began to instantly blister, but in his adrenaline infused state; his mind clouded by his singular purpose in war, he had fallen victim to their own trap.

Slowly the sergeant's face grew distorted. The realisation sank in that he had just exposed himself to the polluted air. He turned to face the others. The pilots backed away. They didn't know what would happen.

Once it was clear the sergeant was dazed but still likely to act unpredictably, Corporeal Johnson raised his dual-cannon guns and aiming his dead sights on the commanding officer's unit.

"Forgive me..." he whispered and shot at it. The suit appeared to resist the critical damage that was being inflicted. Soon another unit was firing too, and the commanding officer fell from the suit to the ground. The unit too fell, but not before exploding.

The remnants had to leave. They could return for the black box later. Right now, they needed to leave before the air raid came in.

General Romerto knew what he'd say next. "Sir, we can't fire the moon cannon yet. We have to wait for the others to make their move."

"No, here's what we'll do. We use the refractor lens to narow the beam. we'll narrow down the shot to the remains of the capital."

"But sir!"

"I'm over-riding your decision Romerto."

"Y-yes Sir Codenski." the general said with a sigh, "Fire the cannon at 20% capacity."

"Right away!" called Zack. He was the only one, besides Codenski, who seemed actually happy at firing the behemoth.

Workers all around the moon cannon base stopped and perked up as the massive gun came to life.

"Preapring to fire now sir." called Zack. "We're targeting the rubble of the Shamoin capital. No friendlies in sight."

The cannon doors open as the barrel elevated, taking aim. Four of the eight generators came to life as they charged the gun. With no boom (no sound in space :D ) the cannon fired down upon their remains of a target. The ground incinerated upon impact, a massive crater deep, deep down forming, leaving nothing but molten rock in its place.

"Target wiped out sir." General Romerto reported sadly.

"Good." responded Codenski, "My trigger finger has been satisfied. If you need me, I'll be off at the indoor pool you have here."

After Codenski left the room, Romerto turned to Zack. "This thing is the biggest waste of money. Ever."

ooc: Time to finish it. Considering it would be impossible for your soldiers to traverse the distance from the coast to the capital with a nuke in less than a week, I shall act as though that post never happened, SI.

Ic:

The TMs moved silently through the undergrowth, approaching the camo of the remaining Shamoin soldiers. They had killed almost all the soldiers in the past day or so, this was the only remaining group. And the TMs had reason to believe they had a nuke. Therefore, they had taken it upon themselves to first and foremost secure the nuke, then attack and slay the soldiers.

A group of four TMs snuck down to the camp, and maneuvered around the edge to the nuke, avoiding the guard's line of sight with ease. Once they reached the nuke, they tied some ropes around it and prepared to pull it out of the camp. The soldiers would hear the racket for sure, so the TMs had to be ready to attack.

3...2...1... NOW! The TMs yanked on the rope, and the nuke tumbled out of the camp towards them. Before the Shamoin Soldiers knew what was the happening, the other TMs opened fired on them, slaughtering them mercilessly.

***

The Airship had developed a pattern. It would arrive at an island, disgorge the troops. The troops would attack the closest city, then march across the island until they had leveled all the enemy infrastructure. Then they would load back up and move to another island to repeat the process. They took down ten islands in the archipelago in this manner. Because of the confusion caused at the Battle of the Grey House, and the Fall of Lutzov, the armed forces of the Shamoin Islands were very disjointed and disorganized, and could not mount a significant defense.

Fralin continued in this manner for a long while. Finally, though, when the tenth island fell to their might, he gave the order to have the airship withdraw them to Dectubech's nearby colony of Grand Thersal. There they would wait until R539 dropped the bombs. They would then go in and mop up any survivors, obliterating all traces of the Shamoin Islands.

Constantine AFB, 4:57 PM

The Bombers were all fueled and loaded now. They had been given their deadly payload of Hydrogen bombs. The B-52 taxied down the tarmac, some were already taking off. Above, almost the entire Air Force was circling at different altitudes to avoid collision.

Finally, all the bombers were in the air and set courses for The Shamoin Islands. It would only take them 45 minutes to get there at their top speeds. The fleet of aircraft was flying over water now. Many pilots were hoping the Navy destroyed all of the Shamoin AA positions. It wouldn't really matter if anyone got shot down, the bombs would explode on impact with the ground.

About 25 minutes later, the intercept team had linked up with the bombers. The intercept was all the aircraft from the carriers and the Orek's Falcons of Articoa. The escort was massive and of unprecedented size. Failure wasn't even a possibility.

The aircraft were flying over the blockade now. They could see all the allied nation's ships. Sailors on the decks were waving their hands and flags. It was a celebration type of mood, everyone knew the war would be over in ten minutes. Following the bombing, there would be nothing left to fight against.

When they were one mile off the coast, they split up to attack their respective islands, at least two were to be dropped on every island.

The first bombs began to drop, in a matter of seconds, they impacted the ground. There was a blinding flash, followed by an enormous cloud. All was destroyed by this blast, but like said, two were dropped on each island. On the bigger islands, they were dropping five bombs.

Finally the raid was over, one plane was lost in the entire thing. He wasn't wearing extra strong sunglasses. He couldn't see and his plane crashed into the water. However, despite this minor loss, the raid was a wonderful success. Almost nothing was left of the islands, a little beach here, a rock there.

The next plan was to destroy those beaches and rocks, but that would be achieved with the Articoan moon cannon and Rchanian PACs.

At this time, we are preparing to do a sweep of the area to learn the extent of the damage. We are planning to deploy drones for this purpose. We plan to analyse the soil and any remains that exist at this point. Do try and refrain from blowing up all of the rubble, as it's a waste of resources. We won't interfere with any other operations on islands that still show signs of life; on islands that haven't yet been properly salted.

Once all operations are considered wrapped up, we will be deploying our drones.

Derek couldn't believe his ears. They were being told to stand down from some Aleksandr Vasilii guy. Oh right, he was the Reichsfurher.

"Listen up!" he shouted. The soldiers stopped what they were doing and looked up. "I have just received word that we are to stand down. The Furher has died leading his troops at the front. Our nation is going to peace terms with Dectubech, and the other nations. There is nothing left."

The soldiers stared at him with disbelief. All they had been fighting for, gone.

"Although the war may be lost, our battle is not." he said. "We have hurt Dectubech, not majorly, but we are certainly a pain the ass!"

The soldiers cheered.

"But we need not forget that everyday those TM's hunt us. It will not be long before they find us. We have a choice, fight on and try to reach the capitol, or surrender and face execution." he screamed. "All who want to fight on yell FREEDOM!"

"FREEDOM!"

"For our great leader, Gerhard Lut-" a shot rang out and Derek fell the ground bleeding like crazy.

"Take cover!"

As Derek through blurred eyes, he saw at least 20 TM's dash out into their camp. The were firing like mad. All around him he saw comrades fall, wounded, but most times dead. As the battle raged, he took out his pistol. The last artillery gun they had left knocked out 3 of the TM's, but that wasn't nearly enough. The battle raged for 7 minutes, and then all was quiet. All around him lay dead comrades. Then, what looked like a general came out of the trees with about 30 Dectubech soldiers. He was surveying the battlefield. He looked at his pistol. One round left. The general walked closer to him. He raised it. The general saw him. He started to point and scream;

"He's still aliv-" but it was too late.

He pulled the trigger. The general's head blew apart. All of the Dectubech soldiers rushed over. Derek laid back, closed his eyes, and went to sleep. Forever.

I have ordered the rebels to stand down. I cannot guarantee that they will, because many of them were once Lutzov's trainees. I am doing all I can. We accept R539's invitation. Buona Sera!

-Aleksandr Vasilii
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear the Leader of Kryozerkia,
I would like to request that you clean up the polluted air, we cannot go out without fear of blowing up.

-Aleksandr Vasilii
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Derek couldn't believe his ears.

As Derek through blurred eyes, he saw at least 20 TM's dash out into their camp. The were firing like mad. All around him he saw comrades fall, wounded, but most times dead. As the battle raged, he took out his pistol. The last artillery gun they had left knocked out 3 of the TM's, but that wasn't nearly enough. The battle raged for 7 minutes, and then all was quiet. All around him lay dead comrades. Then, what looked like a general came out of the trees with about 30 Dectubech soldiers. He was surveying the battlefield. He looked at his pistol. One round left. The general walked closer to him. He raised it. The general saw him. He started to point and scream;

"He's still aliv-" but it was too late.

He pulled the trigger. The general's head blew apart. All of the Dectubech soldiers rushed over. Derek laid back, closed his eyes, and went to sleep. Forever.

ooc: SI, I want to whack you, but I'll refrain. Sorry, I just had to get that out there.

Cyan Barack was shocked. Just when he thought they were gone for good... But no, he should have known better than to expect remnants of Fozcria to go down just because they got hit with some H-bombs. The War Council raged in furious debate over whether they should reject the terms and be done with it, or agree and see what this new leader was all about. Finally they decided to go with the latter.

Dear Vasilli,

Dectubech shall attend peace terms with you in R539. We support Emperor Constantine's request that you bring no guards. I know how vulnerable this will make you feel, but I have dealt with your old leader too much to deal with unnecessary risks. I hope for what remains of your nation's sake that you are nothing like Lutzov. For if you are...

From, Emperor Cyan Barack I.

Dear Emperor Constantine,

I shall be attending peace terms in your nation. I have already informed Vasilli of my intentions, and I support your decision to make him come alone. I also recommend a strong security check of his person to search for bombs or any other weapons.

From, Emperor Cyan Barack I.

Barack,

I will not go alone. I am of course bringing a peace delegation. No guards.

Esteemed Allies,

We made it clear in the beginning that the surrender of The Shamoin Islands was to be conditional, and Vasilii's continual demand to have any kind of delegation is indicative of a condition. As such, we will simply allow our drones to conduct their business and will not acknowledge the token gesture made by The Shamoin Islands.

After using a samll space shuttle, then using his private jet, Sir Codenski landed in Byzantium II, the capital of R539. (is that it, R-chan?) Codenski stepped down onto the tarmac with two elite guards, the other ten stayed on the plane. He was greeted by Rchanian citizens waving happily, and the few protestors who had a few select words to describe Codenski.

He got into a private limo and arrived at the meeting hall for the peace talks. Entering the hall entrance, Codenski saw diplomats of all kinds here to see the conference. Reporters barraged him with questions and photos.

"People! People! No questions, this is a private conference. Now if you don't mind, I'll be entering it now."

And with that, Codenski entered into a small room with a long oak table, twenty chairs, and a telescreen on the far wall.

Cyan Barack I along with Cyan Barack II and Karfka touched down moments after Sir Codenski, and received a similar greeting from the people. As their bodyguards (5 TMS, 13 secret service) guided them into the car and to the conference hall, dozens of reporters barraged them with questions. As they entered the conference hall, the Emperor turned on the top step to address the reporters.

"Rchanians!" he cried. "Please cease your questions! This meeting is simply a way to end conflict and decide once and for all what to be done about the Shamoin Islands. I am sure that Emperor Constantine will give you an account of the meeting and make a speech once it has ended. Thank you!" he then turned and swept into the building.

They walked down the hall and seeing Sir Codenski enter a room, followed him. They took their seats at the table, their bodyguards at attention behind them.

As Vasilii's plane landed, he didn't hear the boos and rants because of the jets. But when he stepped out of the plane, the rants overcame him. There were cries of,

"Nazi!"
"Child slayer!"

and so on. As he walked into the hall, the flashes engulfed him. The reporters wouldn't shut up.

"In the Shamoin Islands, our press isn't even free!" he said the man next to him.

He walked into the hall, and the men their stared at him.

Constantine was waiting in the meeting hall of Byzantium II City Hall. When the respective leaders of the nations arrived, they sat down and waited for the others. A few were here already, so Constantine stood up. The other diplomats stopped talking to listen to what he had to say.

"Welcome to the wonderful city of Byzantium II, capital of the Rchanian Empire." Constantine began with a greeting. "I ask that you now, follow me to Constantine Palace, my home and the place where all the executive decisions are made."

"When we arrive at the gates, all cars will be searched for weapons and bombs, the usual. After, the vehicles will be parked, and you will follow me inside. When inside, you will be asked to go through security and that all metal objects be left outside in our secure lockers in the guard facility."

"Following, we will proceed inside to my office. All guards are permitted to enter my house, but they will remain outside of my office. They will be free to roam about the area designated for them, but will be guarded by my guards, only minimum security. I don't want any of your guards in my house, messing everything up, okay?"

"Pens and everything will be provided inside my office as you will be asked to leave everything outside. Now if there aren't any questions, we will proceed to my palace. The guards here will inform the other diplomats to come to my palace for the meeting." Constantine finished his little speech.

Codenski got into his limo along with his two bodyguards. As they approached the palace, Codenski remembered how extravagently lavish the palace was. Guards cehcked up and down the vehicle, finding nothing of importance.

He drove up to the main entrance, servants opening the door for him.

Once approaching the metal detector, Codenski removed his twin 9mm pistols, watch, cell phone, codec, MP3 player, and lastly his two ammo magazines.

"You certainly carry a lot with you don't you?" joked one of the guards.

"Yep. I like to personally take care of things." Codesnki turned to his two guards. "I want you two to go into that guards' room or whatever Constatine's calling it. And don't try to hide your tasers or semi-automatics either."

"Yes sir." they said together.

Codenski went through the detector. He was clean according to it, so he was free to continue. He walked into Constatine's office. To say it was large would be an undertstament. The desk was in front of a large clear curved wall, showing the entire view of Byzantium II. A meeting table stood in the far left corner, ten chairs surrounding it. An 100' telescreen was out of it's usual hiding spot to show a map of the world and coalition troop positions. At his desk sat Constatine, waiting for the others.

"So," Codenski began, "you ready for the fireworks?"

Cyan ordered the guards to follow Sir Codenski's. he then turned toward the man collecting weapons.

Karfka's eyes flashed. No one had ever refused him his request to bring a knife. "Because you will not let me in with a knife," he stated coldly. "And I refuse to grovel to you, I will not enter. I shall stand out here and simply communicate with the emperor via earpiece." He took a step away from the security system.

"OK then, Now I shall start this meeting on the notion of why we are in attendance today." Constantine took out his notes. "We are here, on today, the sixth of October in this year of 2008, to discuss the unconditional surrender of The Shamoin Islands."

Constantine waved his paper, signaling the sharpshooter to stand down. He had been taking aim at Vasilii's head for the entire time, ready to shoot at any moment. Constantine didn't want a hole in his window or any blood on his brand new blue carpet.

ooc - We are withdrawing entirely. We made it clear in our initial response to the declaration of war that the surrender was to be unconditional and since you made it conditional, we are not acknowledging it. We are withdrawing now that the war is over. We served our allies because we believed in their caused. Nothing is left to be done. We too on the Corrosia RMB declared our official stance as being that we do not acknowledge the existence of The Shamoin Islands and we have disavowed any prior knowledge as well.

OOC: I also stated my stance.
The Shamoin Islands
07-10-2008, 22:36
Oh so you don't acknowledge me eh??? You do know that I can easily leave this conference, and because all of you have declared the war won and done, I have the power to leave this conference and start rebuilding my nation. If you however decide to declare war on me, you will be disavowing your denial of my existence, since you can't declare war on a nation that you claim does not exist. Then, if you do declare war, I could easily have the WHOLE world on my side since you would then have no reason to declare war on me, then again stating that you believe I DO NOT EXIST. But, I am still here due to my notion of kindness.... sort of.

OOC/IC: The Shamoin Islands will still exist in Artiocan history and intelligence. Their behavior in the later stages of this RP was sad at best. You all know why. If we are provoked, we shall respond in kind. Unfortanetly, many other nations have literally ignored the Shamoin Islands out of existence. This would mean I would most likely be outnumbered in a war. That however, would depend on the circumstances. Long story short, I cut off diplomatic ties with The Shamoin Islands, but still note they exist in this world.
NOTE: I said provoked, not attacked.

ANOTHER NOTE: I believe that's the end of this RP.
