Hey, just wanted to say I had an idea for a REALISTIC past tech RP, for people who are tired of fantasy or who's religions forbid them from playing games with demonism in it. If you wish to join, please state country/kingdom/tribe name, your major military(Melee, Archery, or Other). The larger your nation is at the start, the lower tech points it will have. I request a map maker to make a map with the following regions marked on a fictitious continent, in parentheses are the sizes of these regions. For an IC note, the support level is also on the side:

Bump, Also, I changed the first post so that nations are listed, your populations are listed, your currency is listed (Mortongoth, before you ask, Dictators usually have low Local Currency) and your resources are listed. I also put which nations you may attack.

I saw it, it looks *pretty* interesting. Also, roman time is ancient, medieval begins after the Roman's fall.

We are going to need a map, just telling us who we can strike isnt nearly good enough. We need to know who we can trade with and who we can ally with and such things, to do this we need to know where people are.

History:At once a simple trading guild, eventually Ravea established itself as a small kingdom in the Heather Fields; ruled by a collection of Guild Lords who have the same amount of power as any noble would, the WatchGuard prefers to trade rather that war. Possessing a small but crack military, Ravea has excellent horse archers and good heavy cavalry, but fields a poor variety of foot soldiers.
With a keen understanding of politics, Ravea is reputed to have a large and terrifying network of spies and assassins, and often gains the advantage through subterfuge rather than brute strength. In the past, the WatchGuard has been more than happy to provide mercenaries for other nations as well.
Cool. The Heather Fields are in the centre of the earth right now(I'm thinking about having a New World in the late-game) so you can be reached by almost everybody diplomatically and militarily. The only people you can't reach is the outlying regions, which are the Keret Mountains and The Open Lands for now.
I suppose that puts me at both a disadvantage and an advantage.

Tech is currently at zero for everyone. If you make large expansions, you will have more people. More people mean more scientists, and so forth. If you have a lower military, you have more scientists, and so forth. Sometimes I just award technologies cuz I feel like it.

what kind of tech can we use now? steel, iron, bronze, what types of weapons and armor and accessories (stirrups etc.)?

What good is the money? How does it translate into structures, roads, military and such?
We're not using it yet, so don't worry about it. You'll need it once we start real wars, and your constantly expanding everything. So just stockpile, don't waste it on useless things. Below are some of the things we WILL use it for:

I guess I could make the map if necessary. Is it an island, a peninsula, a coast, or land locked? I prefer it have some large ocean nearby because of my specialized navy. You didn't really describe much of the continent, or any of the specific regions of the continent.
A. The place we're in is a whole continent
B. There is an ocean called the Kiliptie ocean.
C. As long as the Heather Fields are in the middle, and The Open Lands on the far side, I don't care.
D. There are two large seas, the Bay of Dragons, and the Flippei Bay

Ehmeh. I'm sorry to say this, but I'm kind iffy on it. With nothing specified I can't really tell what I'm doing. It's just that I have to include everything connected now. So at first I thought I could place things wherever, but then I realized everything is dictated by those who-can-hit-whos. It would have been a lot easier if the map had been made first. So I'm going to back out on it for now. I might try again later.

Alright then. With a push of my sanity I actually got the maps done. However, I screwed over the attacking distances and such. I have one map with named regions, and one without.

Actually, it's between Char and Speik. I just happen to add Speik in because at the beginning we had zip players. But now we got like twenty, I'm trying my hardest to be fair but still let Charzak conquer it.

oh idk i thought it would start out as like my kingdom conquering all the others that had no alliances. then when my nation was big enough i would start attacking those with alliances. could you add the names and locations of the kingdoms to the map cause it is kind of confusing.
