The Consul has decided to make new elections immediate after the death of Edgar Ledan, they fear the four states will break off of one another. Or worse, the Far East territory will become it's own country. Congress backed this option, and so the committee elections were beginning to be held in each city. After the 10,000 electives from every city classified as suburban or above(Rural areas vote for their nearest suburb, urban, or overpop.) met, 3,000 regional electives went and voted on the senate candidates. The 500 senate electees then voted on for one of three candidates, Deriak Loresin, Beri Vonheidrikson, and Kort Johnston. The Northeast sided with Kort Johnston, giving it's 50 votes. The Far East did the same, giving it's 15 votes. The Southwest voted on Deriak Loresin, giving their 20 votes. The Capital District voted for Kort Johnston, giving it's 10 votes. The Outlying Territories voted for Beri Vonheidrikson, because of his promise to build higher transportation, this gave him a whopping 65 votes. The Southeast was not present due to the civil war. Total election results:
Deriak Loresin: 20 votes
Beri Vonheidrikson: 65 votes
Kort Johnston: 75 votes
