It was a bright sunny day when the results of the Federal Assembly's elections were announced, but to some it was a horrible day. The Federal Communist Party had won 30 more seats in the Federal Assembly. It was the rebirth of Wolfenhaller socialism, which last reign during the Handstand years from 1957-2004. The largest voice against it came from the Nazis and Fascist who had no seats. The majority of the voters wanted more reforms in the government. Now the old way was brought back and the people went on normal.

Today, the Federal Communist Party won the 30 vacant seats in the Federal Assembly bringing their numbers to 37. With them and the Liberation Party holding majority in both houses. Some economists are speaking of the rebirth of Wolfenhaller socialism. The FCP has announce plans to nationalized failing businesses and bring more pro-worker bills to the Federal Assembly. The WLP has stated it will look at the economy before "bringing social democracy back to the nation." Many suspect the WLP will counter any plans of communism, as the WLP has done in the past.

The new elections were finished. The Federal Assembly now needed to hold the election for the office of the President of Senate, which executive of the Federal Assembly. The current President John C. Handstand was running against the other majority members, FCP, LP, and the ANP. The voting by the Federal Assembly left the LNP, LP, and WANP in a tie breaking election, which the ANP won. This election would be always remembered, since the Federal Assembly just elected it's first non-human President of Senate, Wolfram Kessiner, of the Anthro Nationalist Party. This was the beginning of the Second Handstandian Era.
