Clearly, the world has gone mad. What could have been the greatest alliance to ever be known is now in tatters as the evil democracies have triumphed. SCAR will no longer be what it couldve been. And many of the SCAR members are in civil wars. My government has fallen and I have been rejected as Supreme Chancellor. I am going into hiding. And do not even try to find me. the RHO forces were the first to move in. Varangian Planes moved along typical airline routes and broadcast civilian IFFs. They were even Civilian type aircraft . . on the outside anyway and on of the Varangian HQ people had long ago hacked air transit schedules so they looked entirely legit. The entire Varangian ground force was moving in this was as the navy and marines steamed to offshore positions and The airforce was ready to go at a moments notice.

Ciemal Radnvicz wasted no time. The Defense Coordinators were notified of the situation, and in minutes the whoosh of launching cluster missiles could be heard all across the Dominion. All were headed for the capital of Xult. Ciemal knew better than to underestimate a Nikitin. Ciemal phoned the WA and made an official declaration of war just as the first missiles reached the capital. Ciemal also sent 5 50-tank regiments to Xult to begin ground bombardment of major cities.

IC: The RHO special forces had landed at the specified Location and were now working furiously to build a runway. The parts had been dropped with them and seven Squads were in the process of laying steel planking as three others were patrolling the wood line around the runway for construction. They were both waiting for the Democratic forces to arrive and . . .suppressing anyone else including regular forces.

OOC: I've noticed you doing this a lot. The generally accepted rule is that unless the OP says it's allowed, FT nations do not interact with MT nations. FT nations stay in FT threads.

Nikitin did not hesitate to launch his anti-missile systems into action. It was unsafe to launch from their positions with so many civilians around the launch site. But who cared if a few XSFs got in killed in the process? His missiles would destroy most if not all of the enemy missiles. The ones that hit their target? Well the capital has emergency automatic launch missiles so he should be safe. And elsewhere? Well their mostly fascists anyway. With any luck, one of the missiles will hit Granger.

OOC RE LOCATION: Xult is mostly landlocked however it does have a lengthy stretch of beach. Xult is located in northeastern Asia (more specifically MD russia) more specifically on the Sea of Okhotsk. It has water access but is better accessed by land. Climate? Cold. haha

The Defense Coordinators ceased bombardment of the capital, as intel was showing that it had a nearly infinite interceptor reserve. DC-057 ran over his options. Hiemal had ordered as few civilian casualties as possible, so Gnats were out of the question, and Lancers were useless against Xult's interceptor batteries. DC-057 decided to move a concentrated force of tanks to bombard the capital building, taking advantage of Nikitin's hubris. 3 special forces squads were paired with Demolitions experts and sent in to disable the city's infrastructure. The squads' snipers were ordered to kill Nikitin on sight.

IC: merc forces had continued to move in in a trickle. Hopefully small enough that they had not yet been noticed. Now both the Slammers (heavy armored) and the Legion (light Mechanized) had arrived along with the head quarters battalion and the RHO special Forces. There was no way, now, that they could remain hidden and they still needed to bring in most of their tanks and mechanized vehicles. In order to do so the began to dig in. A berm was set up around three airstrips and an extensive set of barracks. Multiple bunkers were set into the berm and manned by the light infantry. Outside the berm a razor wire fence went up and a second berm was constructed. Sniper and machine gun emplacements went up next as, between the two berms AA and missile defense systems came online. Then came the Phoenix. The entire Air force side of the Mercenary force, named Pheonix, appeared on radar screens entering Xultian airspace.

The special operations squads were meeting little resistance in the city, even after the tanks were ordered to stop shelling. Few people were on the streets, and the squads were disguised as civilians in order to arouse as little suspicion as possible. The demolitions specialists went with two-man escorts to each of the power plants in the city and began to set up explosives. The snipers went with one-man escorts and began to scout the city for Nikitin. The remaining three soldiers on each squad started to hunt isolated groups of Ralkovian soldiers to kill.

Might want to make another thread on this but,
I was once in a MT war where a FT nation hosted the MT peace talks on a spaceship. Led to a second war where he provided medical backup for radiation poisoning. He even got hit by an enemy MT hunter killer satelite.

Security Director Mylxinor has spoken with DPX militia commander Mercado to create a joint Korintari/DPX force. Korintar has deployed 7.5 million soldiers and the People's Industrial Council- the supreme economic governing body- has voted to order that Korintar's industries focus on the war effort. We have used our advanced computer systems to temporarily scramble communications within the other factions and ordered small scale nuclear strikes on the rival factions HQs.
