The Solenian Confederacy lies in the northern hemisphere and belongs to the region of Mediterranica. We are ruled by 'the federal council', every member of which are nominated from their constituent division. Each division is governed ove by the federal council and a sub-council, the sub-council is led by the chosen representative in the federal council. The President, head of the federal council, does not have much more power than the rest of the council but has the casting vote on any decisions thats are at a stalemate.

Since the Federal Council had been chosen to lead the Confederation, Solenial has weakened their defence force. After a referendum in 2007, it was clear the people wanted less money spent on Defence and more on Education, Health and Social Welfare. Many regard Solenial to be headed for 'A Golden Age' as standard of living rises.

(OOC: No chewing gum!? And how is a nation "on the fence" regarding religion?)

OOC: No chewing gum isn't really out of the ordinary, Singapore once had tat law. The solenian people are very ecological and realise that Gum is quite a bad thing. I can see more important things i could tell you about Solenian Political Views but i thought the fact we don't have gum would be a little interesting. That law is disputed and maybe repealed in the near future.

What i mean about 'on the fence' is just that Solenial have no restrictions of religion nor do they give religion benefits, they pretty much remain uninvolved in the activities of Religion.
