Nuclear program for auction (MT only).

OOC: This is an auction being run by the Iron Fist, a criminal organization in the ASoGM. I'm looking for characters as interested parties. If someone HAS to play an undercover agent/cop/etc, I'm only looking for one.
IC: Videos began popping up on Youtube with a cell phone number, advertising an auction for a nuclear program. In the ad, it was laid out that what was for auction is complete blueprints for nuclear devices, as well as the warheads from 5 nuclear tipped Tomahawks. No information about who was running the auction was given, where it was taking place, or if the auction was real. Similar ads were taken out in Craigslist, and eBay. The ads didn't last long, but as they got deleted, more appeared.

SRPA Researchers picked this up. They rang in to inquire about the Nuclear Auction. An agent was ready to go and pick up the bill for them too.
OOC: If you don't mind, I'd like to play the Undercover dude. However, since it's SRPA (The guys you met briefly back in "It Was Supposed To Be A Secret"), they'll be buying the nukes and storing them so no terrorists get their hands on it - if they win that is.

"There is an abandoned amusement park near the ASoGM port city of Stoeger. Be there at 12 pm, 2 days from now. Wear a blue tank top, shorts, and sandals without socks. You show by yourself, and no weapons. Have your bid in negotiable Bearer Bonds. Once you arrive at the amusement park, you won't be allowed to leave until the end of the auction. Failure to follow these instructions will result in harsh measures". With that, the phone disconnected.

Unbeknown to the man on the bench, one of the auctioneers was using a digital SLR camera with a high power telephoto lens to take his front and profile pictures. The cameraman was hiding in the abandoned park, where it would be near impossible to be seen. The bidder was early, and the boss wanted to know why.

OOC: Basically, it was pointing out something my roommate told me. For the amounts of money we're talking about, it wouldn't be man portable (as an example, $2 million in hundreds weighs just over 44 pounds). Therefore, I've got to switch the currency to negotiable bearer bonds, as those can have a much higher face value, and fit in a much more compact container.
BTW, I was expecting more people to join in. Where's all the small rogue nations, the terrorist groups, the other criminal organizations, etc? If anyone is reading this, and fits into one of the above categories, feel free to join in.

The person monitoring the phone waited a while for the phone to stop ringing. When it finally did, he called back with the second phone, and relayed the same message he had just relayed to the previous callers.
After that, he called his boss, Franco Martinello, on a third pre-paid cell phone to inform him that there were 3 potential bidders for the merchandise. He also informed Franco that security was setting up, in case things went south during the auction. Franco reminded him that if things went smoothly and the bidders were satisfied, that this type of auction could become a new source of revenue for the Iron Fist organization.
An ad showed up on Robert Dellinger's proxied e-mail account. He was second in command of a group called the Avalican Union of International Piracy (AUIP) a group supported through raids, drug trades, weapon deals to other unsavory people, all sorts of crimes, but most came from funding from various mafias and corporations in other nations. He could not believe his eyes when the topic read "Important: Nuclear Auction" from the captain and immediately ran several virus checks until he was sure to open the e-mail after making sure his laptop was encrypted heavily.
There was a cellphone number in the e-mail, after quickly deleting it, he deleted the e-mail account and all files on the laptop, smashed it into bits, and threw the remains into the sewer. If the Avalican Intelligence Agency every found out about this, it would be the end of the road for him. If they could get this nuclear program, countries will think twice before interfering with their raids and those who do, may suffer in a cloud of radiation.
He dialed the number on a cellphone was going to dispose of later, and he heard the ringing as he waited anxiously looking around to make sure no one was there. In a fake Albanian accent he said "Hello, I hear your having a very special auction."

OOC: Actually, the standard operating procedure is to let the phone ring until the caller hangs up, then call them back on a second phone (and since nobody knows that second number, it has no sort of link to the first number, which means the second phone can't be preemptively traced). So I'll assume that your fake Albanian accent is used in the followup call.
IC: The phone rang until the person hung up. When the person monitoring the phones called back, someone with what sounded like an Albanian accent answered. He relayed the same message to the potential bidder, and then quickly hung up before any other words could be spoken.
Meanwhile, it was getting close to the meeting time. Security spots were well hidden inside the old amusement park, and the hotels in Stoeger were staked out for the arrival of the bidders.

The ASoGM Intelligence Agency has seen the many internet ads listing nuclear weapons and plans for auction, but they have no evidence that the auction is taking place here. If you do have such evidence, please send it to us, and we will investigate this ourselves. At this time, we cannot allow foreign assets to enter the ASoGM for such an operation, but be assured that we will do what we can to bring to justice those who would carelessly spread weapons of mass destruction to dangerous individuals.

The military group also saw the ferris wheel and headed through a side direction. Special photo-receptors on their clothing would tell them if anyone took their picture and 10 of them had heat vision goggles and would see anyone hiding.
OOC: It's summertime in the ASoGM (part of the reason for the tank top, shorts, and sandals is because the auctioneers wouldn't want the bidders passing out from heat exhaustion/heat stroke, and be unable to bid), and the time is almost noon. I doubt you'll be able to pick up any heat signatures, considering the temperature outside on an ASoGM summer day gets into the upper 90's Fahrenheit, sometimes into the low 100's Farenheit.
IC: A grimy beggar stopped the men, and asked for spare change. He offered an old bag in exchange, although the bag had a few holes in it and was dirty. The holes looked as though they could have been from a rodent chewing through the bag. Meanwhile, one of the hidden auctioneers spotted the men through a pair of binoculars. He wasn't armed with a camera, as the bidders weren't supposed to be coming through that entrance. He did the only thing he could. He called the cops, and told them armed men were trespassing in the old amusement park. Since a fair amount of the police in Stoeger were on Iron Fist's payroll, officers were already nearby to make sure nobody interfered with the auction. They would be there just as the auction was scheduled to start.
Robert decided to give the hobo several dollars (about 16 dollars and a few cents) in Avalican krotes he had in his pocket. Back at his home, Franco Martinello was not happy about the uninvited group that came through the side entrance. He had hoped this auction would go smoothly, but the auctioneers already had to use one of their trump cards to deal with them. He made a call to the head auctioneer, and told him the funhouse protocol was authorized if needed.

The MG heard the sirens and all pulled their guns. and began running toward the ferris wheel. Two of the men, one with a mini rpg (holds 5 grenades, cannot destroy heaviliy armored vehicles) and the other with a howler machine gun adapted for shotgun rounds. They would hold off the police for a while.
Platao and East looked at the man. East said, "Hello, I'm Jansonily and I hear you've got some nuclear plans to sell"
OOC: Just out of curiosity, how many men are there in this group?
IC: The lookout keeping an eye on the uninvited group whispered into his mic, "They're armed. Watch yourselves". Meanwhile, the man that had gotten out of the Escalade said to the men, "I have no idea what you're talking about. I was told to meet some possible investors for bringing this amusement park back to operation". He took off his jacket, pulled a hard hat and blueprints for the park out of the Escalade, and put the hard hat on. He unfurled the blueprints across the hood of the Escalade, and acted like he was there for legitimate reasons.
More police officers reached the front entrance of the amusement park, and started to make their way towards the ferris wheel. These police officers were also in the employ of Iron Fist.

The two look outs saw the officers from their hiding places. One fired a mini rpg at a police car while the other opened up with the his machine gun. They both pulled the bullet resistant masks down from their hats so that it would be harder to mortally wound them. The rapid shotgun rounds would tear through these cops
In the meantime the rest of the MG pulled their masks down and ran for the ferris wheel, they were almost there.
East looked at the plans and saw that they were fr the said nuclear devices. "So what's the starting bid?
Platao heard Jansonily's remark and decided to start off low, "Will 5 million Aaronian Credits be enough to 'renovate' the park"

Platao heard Jansonily's remark and decided to start off low, "Will 5 million Aaronian Credits be enough to 'renovate' the park"
OOC: The plans are for the amusement park, not the nukes. It's part of the cover story for why there's people in the park.
IC: The cop car exploded, killing the two officers inside. Meanwhile, the shotgun rounds tore into both police cars and police officers. The police officers were wearing body armor with trauma plates, so the ones that were hit were able to survive the hits, but weren't in fighting shape. Other officers pulled the wounded out of the line of fire, and all the police at the side entrance pulled back.
Meanwhile, an Iron Fist lookout pulled out his WA-2007 sniper rifle, and lined up the guy with the machine gun in his Super Sniper 10x scope. The range was 150 yards, but he had a clear line of fire due to his elevated position. Once he had a clean shot, he fired a subsonic .308 round at the back of the man's head. The shot was perfectly timed to the machine gunner's firing. Due to the timing of the shot, the WA-2007's integrally suppressed barrel, and the subsonic rounds, it would be very hard to detect that there was a shot, let alone where the shot was coming from.
Back at the ferris wheel, the man said, "I'm not in charge of financing. I'm here to show the possible investors that the amusement park is still viable as it currently is, once the trash is cleaned up and the rides receive proper inspections. That's why the ferris wheel is spinning".

OOC: The time for the auction has already here. By the time your person would get here, it'd be too late. But don't worry, if this RP works out, there may be more.
IC: The phone rang until the person hung up, which was normal for this operation. What wasn't normal though, was the number wasn't called back on the second phone. It was auction time, and the person who had been monitoring the phones had other things he had to be doing for the auction.

The man from the Escalade was worried that the bidders would lose interest if he kept denying the nuclear auction, but with armed men, presumably ASoGM federal agents, coming towards the auction, he couldn't break his cover. He said to the bidders, "If you're all really interested in investing in the amusement park, then I can have my co-worker take you to the proper office. Please, get in the van. It isn't a very far drive".
Meanwhile, the police that had entered through the front entrance were closing in on the ferris wheel. They were wearing body armor with trauma plates, and were armed with their Glock 17s, Remington 11-87s, and/or M4s.

The van driver jumped into the van, and started it. He turned the van around to face the main entrance, but waited for the man from Ustio North to climb in.
The bullets narrowly missed the sniper, and he left his spot for somewhere safe, fearing more fire directed at him. He alerted another sniper, who lined up the man with the RPG in his sights. He was approximately 320 yards away, so he had to use armor piercing rounds in his WA-2007, instead of his preferred subsonic rounds. When he had a clear shot at the man's torso, he took the shot.
Meanwhile, the police at the side entrance took some fire from the RPGs, with another police car blown up, and shrapnel injuries to the police. One of the officers needed to be taken to the hospital immediately, as he had a severed femoral artery from the grenade. SWAT was called in, as was the state police. They would be arriving shortly. The police heading from the side entrance were about as close as the other group.
OOC: I didn't see an answer, maybe you missed it. How many people are in this strike force you sent? Also, please hold off on your movement towards the auction site until Ustio North posts again.

The van door was closed behind him, and the van took of towards the front gate. The driver knew he had to get the bidders out of the area as quick as possible, for their protection and the good of the auction. As the road was bumpy, the cases in back of the van rattled around a bit.

The rest of the group was getting closer, and an RPGman fired a mini-RPG toward the Escalade
OOC: I'm guessing the mini RPGs are being fired at the police officers?
IC: The officers cars were taking the brunt of the explosive damage, but more officers were injured by the mini RPGs, too. Also, one officer was decapitated by flying shrapnel, while another got burned badly by a combination of leaking gas from the cars and the fires created by the explosions. The pistol rounds were also a danger, as another officer went down with a serious head wound. The officers with M4s opened up at the man, hoping that they wouldn't be delayed much longer.
Meanwhile, the Escalade driver took cover when the mini RPG hit. It caused damage to the Escalade, but it would still be drivable. The driver knew the intruders could see him, and he put up his hands in surrender, another play at being an innocent amusement park engineer. He knew that there was no incriminating evidence on him, and hoped that they wouldn't kill him. He was sure that it wasn't ASoGM federal agents though, as they wouldn't have started their raid by shooting Stoeger police officers or firing mini RPGs at him, without cause.

The military group got to the Escalade and the leader, Corporal Twain, said to the man, "Where did that van go, if you don't tell me I'll shoot you in the ankles, then knees, then hands, and then I'll cut off you nose with this knife" Twain knew that he had to be as ruthless as possible if he was going to stop this auction and gain control of the plans. "They went to go speak to our financial staff about investing in the amusement park, as far as I know. It's at 223 Remington Way, about two and a half miles that way". He pointed in the general direction of 223 Remington Way, as that was where the van was initially supposed to go. "BTW, I've heard of hostile takeovers before, but you guys should know, rarely does it actually involve firearms", the escalade driver said with a nervous chuckle.
Meanwhile, the van stopped at the main gate (OOC: not in view of the ferris wheel), and was met by newly arriving Stoeger police officers. The officers opened the back of the van, took out the cases that were in back, and gave them to the passengers. The driver said, "Take these, and put your bonds in them. Nothing else. Officer Sam and Officer Jim will watch you as you do so, to make sure you don't "accidentally" take anything else. After your bonds are in the new cases, ditch the old cases here", as he pointed to a pile of junk at the entrance. Then one of the officers said to the driver, "Bob's telling me they have Lou. Why the hell did you leave him there?". "Because that's what Lou told me to do, Joe", responded the driver.
As all this was going on, the police coming from the main gate started to spread out, using rides and piles of junk as cover and concealment. Once the police were in position near the ferris wheel, one of them took a bullhorn and said into it, "This is the Stoeger Police, and you are surrounded. You are all under arrest for trespassing on private property. Throw down your weapons, put your hands on your head, and get down on the ground".
At the side entrance, the officers ducked behind whatever they could, to avoid the shooting from the dying man. A few more holes were made in the police vehicles, but nobody else was hurt. After the man stopped firing, the police moved in to secure him, but found him dead. His corpse was quickly secured and searched, then his body was moved back behind the perimeter. Investigators took his fingerprints and pictures of his face, so they could identify him. They also took photographs and fingerprints of the man that had the shotgun machine gun, although his face was marred by the exit wound of the subsonic bullet. More police officers headed towards the ferris wheel as quickly as they could, to back up their fellow officers.

The officers saw the devices sliding across the ground, and took cover. Since they were 40-50 yards away, and since some of the grenades and flashbangs got caught on the broken ground (OOC: paved surfaces, damaged by neglect and frost heaves), no officers were injured. The RPGs tore into the amusement park rides and piles of garbage the officers were using as cover, while other officers not being shot at fired their M4s and 11-87s at the assailants. One of the officers radioed that they were taking heavy arms fire, and needed National Guard help. The officer in charge called the National Guard, and within minutes, Four Apache helicopters lifted off from nearby Fort Steyr. They headed in at their maximum speed, 158 knots, and their ETA was 4 minutes. As the call was going in, Iron Fist snipers were lining up the RPG toting assailants with their Super Sniper equipped WA-2007s, and upon getting good aim at their torsos, fired their armor piercing rounds.
Meanwhile, the officers at the gate were informed of the breakaway group. Officers had moved in to intercept the group, and were spread out when the group started shooting at them. Eight officers were hit, but were wearing their body armor with trauma plates. As they attempted to crawl out of the action, other officers returned fire with their M4s, 11-87s, and Glock 17s. In the crossfire, the Escalade driver appeared to get hit in the middle chest, near his liver. He dropped to the ground instantly, and didn't move. On casual inspection, he appeared dead.

"Oh crap, this could be the end," thought the pirate who after hearing one gun shot when we was about to enter the area of the auction, he ran into a different direction and hid behind a counter that used to be a souvenir shack. Now the place had small puddles within and the wood was rotting. Mold was growing from a few corners and tattered, dirt covered t-shirts rested along the ground. It smelled foul which caused Robert to cringe a bit, though he hoped he wouldn't be caught be a speeding bullet. After much thought, he decided to suck down his pride and prayed that he would live this. Several explosions could be heard, which, now gave him more anxiety. What would happen is a grenade or some other explosive flew in here? If a grenade didn't kill him immediately, the collapsing structure and shrapnel would, the place looked like it could fall any second now.
He then peeked over the counter to see what was going on. He noticed some police officers but he couldn't see who they were shooting at. A bullet nearly hit him, but it hit a rack where prizes used to be, as he prayed that the entire shack wouldn't fall down. Though, he felt that after the fight was over, he would be captured. If he had his assault rifle now, maybe he might have had a chance to escape, then again, people would notice if some man was running with an assault rifle. Then he heard some kind of light rotating, he assumed the worst of course and tried to form an escape plan that would involve something with an action movie where the lucky guy dodges all those bullets somehow where a real person would be shot all over.

He didn't get far before Stoeger police officers saw him. One of them, about 15 yards away, stepped into the path he was running. The officer pointed his M4 at the man and shouted, "Down on the ground now!". Another officer looked at how the man was dressed, took a radio and said, "We've got another one here. We can't get him to the gate before the van leaves. We'll exfiltrate him out of the park, then you can pick him up after". The van driver responded to the second officer on the radio with, "I'll leave a case at the gate. Bring him to the rendezvous after he changes out his case for ours". OOC: What about the status of the 6 men that stayed behind? Also, I'm waiting for Ustio North to respond before the van does anything. Finally, I assume when you ran, you left the body of "Lou", the Escalade driver, behind.
IC: Since the men were firing over their shoulders while running, the fire wasn't as accurate as it could have been. Still, three officers were killed by an RPG, while 4 others were injured by the shotgun rounds. The officers still able to fight returned fire, again with their M4s and 11-87s.
Meanwhile, the 4 Apaches were arriving, and spread out to cover the area from all 4 directions. One of the Apaches located the group of assailants, and let loose with a long burst from its 30 mm chain gun. Another Apache launched 4 Hydra 70 FFAR rockets, hoping to kill or wound as many as possible, while still allowing the possibility of capturing some prisoners. The other Apaches stood overwatch, in preparation of the arrival of the 3 V-22 Ospreys.
As soon as the assailants were clear of the area, 2 Stoeger officers went over to the body of "Lou", and dragged him to safety. They turned him over and ripped open his shirt, revealing form fitting body armor and blood packets. "Lou" opened his eyes, and with a smile said, "Wow, handgun rounds hurt like hell with this type of body armor".

OOC: I talked to Ustio North, who is going to have to pull out of this RP. Therefore, I have permission to kill the SRPA agent.
IC: As the SRPA agent opened his case to switch out the bonds, he realized that something was significantly wrong. He opened the secret compartment in his case, and pulled out a pistol. Officer Joe, one of the officers watching the bidders switch out their bonds, saw the gun, pulled his own pistol, but was shot dead by the agent. The van's driver was quicker though, as he already had his pistol out, puting a single round through the man's head. Officer Dan, the other officer watching the bidders, opened the other door, pulled the SRPA agents body out of the van, and transferred the bonds into the new case. Then he took the new case full of bonds to the back of the van, and put it in back. Once the back door was closed, the van left the main gate for 223 Remington Way (OOC: 223 Remington Way is a massive high rise office building).
After the van left, the officers at the gate searched the now supposedly empty cases. One of the cases had what could only be described as a void in it. The void could be a hidden compartment, but the officers didn't dare open it until it was checked over by the bomb squad. Since there were lots of explosions at the park due to the mini RPGs, the bomb squad was on alert. They would be there shortly.
Meanwhile, at the side gate, the bodies of the first 2 assailants were carted off to the morgue, as well as the bodies of the officers killed. Since the assailants still had their passports on them, they were quickly identified. The police investigators called the central Customs authority, who had a record of the individuals arriving. They gave the gate number the plane arrived at, the time it arrived, a complete passenger list, and where it arrived from.

They were being shot at by police officers (armed with M4s, 11-87s, and Glock 17s) and Iron Fist snipers. And what were the casualties from the Apache attack?
IC: Both Apaches were missed by the RPGs, although one was a close miss. They each fired 4 more Hydra 70 rockets at the assailants that fired the RPGs. Meanwhile, the National Guard Ospreys were arriving. One of the Ospreys dropped its troops at the side entrance, another Osprey dropped its troops at the main gate, and the final Osprey dropped its troops in the park, but away from the assailants. As all the troops hit the ground, they chambered rounds into their respective weapons. The troops carried the same M4s, 11-87s, and Glock 17s as the police did, but some of the troops also had grenade launchers or SMAWs. Hand grenades were in abundance as well. The final 2 Apaches, done covering the approach of the Ospreys, were released to hunt the assailants. As soon as the assailants were in sight, a barrage of 30mm cannon fire and Hydra 70 rockets was let loose. The plan was to kill the assailants or drive them into the waiting police and National Guard, which had a solid hold on the side entrance. Since the shooting and explosions had started, there was nothing in the way of crowds by the amusement park.
The bomb squad was nearing the park. They would be there in about 2 minutes.

East was wondering what was taking so long and then he figured it out. They found the compartment in his case. "Hey, I need to tell you something about my case" he yelled. If they killed him, they would all die (c-4 in leg)
5 of the 6 that remained at the ferris wheel were now dead. 1had slipped away and now took careful aim at an apache. 10 had died in the apache attack. The remaining spread out and went behind different buildings while 2 more aimed at the apaches, another started firing with his assault rifle.

OOC: Taking so long? You're on your way to the auction.
IC: As the van pulled up to 223 Remington Way's parking structure, the driver parked, turned to East, and said, "I'm listening".
Two of the Iron Fist snipers had a bead on the last assailant that had been at the ferris wheel. When he moved away from the ferris wheel, they followed him with their WA-2007s. Once they had a clean shot, they each fired an armor piercing round at him, aiming for center mass.
All 4 Apaches were now on the hunt, spread out so that an assailant hiding from one Apache could expose them to the other Apaches. One assailant in particular garnered attention from an Apache gunner, as that Apache was receiving shotgun fire. While the shotgun fire did little to the armored skin of the Apache, the gunner had to return fire. A long burst of 30mm cannonfire was shot at the assailant, while the pilot angled the Apache, and fired Hydra 70 rockets at a couple of buildings. The other 3 Apaches fired Hydra 70s as well, flattening the buildings the assailants were hiding behind, so there wouldn't be any cover for the assailants, while their gunners fired their 30mm cannons at any assailants they saw.
National Guard troops from the main gate and from inside the park were moving towards the assailants as well. They made sure to stay concealed behind cover, so the assailants wouldn't see them until the troops were firing.
ETA: The Bomb Squad arrived, and looked at the case. They brought handheld chemical sniffers, to check for explosives or chemical agents. As they brought the sniffer near the case, it began to indicate the presence of C-4.

The surviving men began to surrender and put their hands up and weapons down. They then began walking into an open area. Hopefully, they wouldn't just be shot on sight, because as soon as the police got close enough, they would all blow themselves up.

OOC: How would your Emperor know about the failure of the group? There's been no news broadcasts on the battle.
IC: The van driver said, "There better not be any other surprises on your part. This auction's already had too many, and my boss won't tolerate any more. Anyway, we're here. Get out, and follow me". The van driver got out, locked the door, and went to the back, where he took the SRPA agent's case out. He lead the 2 bidders to the elevator, and pressed the buttons for the 20th, 21st, and 22nd floor.
Back at the amusement park, the police ordered the assailants to move with their hands up, away from their dropped weapons. Once the assailants were more than 10 feet from the nearest dropped weapon, the police ordered them to lay face down with their hand on their heads, and with their ankles crossed. While the Apaches backed off into a wide covering pattern, 4 officers with flex cuffs approached the assailants, intent on binding their hands. Meanwhile, troops formed a wide perimeter.

OOC: Nearby cars? What nearby cars.
IC: One of the officers was killed instantly. The other 3 officers dove out of way of the incoming fire, while some officers and troops on the perimeter returned fire at the still hostile assailant. The officer in charge yelled out, "From now on, for every one of you that tries that, 4 will be executed along with you".
As the elevator arrived at the 20th floor, the door opened. There was a man in a suit there, who pointed at Platao and said, "Follow me". Once Platao left the elevator, the door closed, and the elevator again rose. It arrived at the 21st floor, and another man in a suit was waiting. He pointed at East and said, "Come with me". After East stepped off, the door again closed. Platao was lead to office number 2015, and East was lead to 2130. Each room was the same. It had a table and a microphone. A video camera was set up, and there were speakers in the room. A slot had been cut into the wall, large enough to slide the cases into, but not large enough for a person to fit through. Through the speakers, a voice said, "Once the auction is over with, the winner will be given a set of keys to a cargo van, then escorted to the parking lot where they can take possession of their purchase. The loser of the auction will be escorted to the parking garage, where they will be brought back to the airport and given a first class ticket anywhere they choose. Please sit".

As the men started to get up, the police and National Guard troops opened fire with their M4s, 11-87s, Glock 17s, SMAWs, and 40mm grenade launchers. As well, the Apaches opened fire with their 30mm chain guns and Hydra 70 rockets. Some of the officers were killed or injured by the explosives and gunfire from the assailants, though.
As soon as both East and Platao were seated, the voice spoke again. It said, "We are waiting for another party who got separated in the park. Is there something either of you would like to drink, while we're waiting?".
The 2 officers and the third bidder reached the Escalade. They got in, started it up, and headed towards the main gate. The Escalade had seen better days though. The windshield was cracked, one side had shrapnel damage, and one of the run flat tires had a puncture. Luckily, it was still capable of making it to 223 Remington Way. They just had to stop at the gate to switch out the case, before heading to the auction.

The police officers and National Guard troops ordered the men down on the ground. Four more officers grabbed flex cuffs, and headed out to arrest the 8 surviving assailants. The Apaches were still covering them, and the rest of the police and troops had the 8 men in their sights. The wounded men would be given medical attention to stabilize them, but how much they received beyond that depended on their cooperation. Paramedics stabilized the wounded assailants as best they could. They weren't doctors though, and so all the wounded men were taken to the local emergency care center. The patients already at the emergency care center were being moved to other facilities, so that this one could handle the mass casualties. The uninjured man would be taken to the Stoeger police lockup, and put into isolation. The officer driving looked at the uninjured man in the rear view mirror and said, "It ain't the Ritz, but I'm sure the Stoeger jail's isolation room will suffice for lodging, until you're extradited to The Aaronian Empire. I'll make sure they throw a newer piece of cardboard in there for you. Nothing but the best beds for our international guests".
National Guard troops and Stoeger police were busy gathering any evidence they could, from bodies to weapons. Some of the corpses had readable passports on them, while others were so badly damaged from the explosions and blood that they were useless. The police took photographs of the dead assailants faces, and the corpses were also fingerprinted. One of the officers found the tracker the assailants were using.
The bomb squad was still at the front gate, investigating East's case. A handheld frequency detector was used to sweep the briefcase for electronics, and as soon as it came close, the meter detected the tracker signal. Lou, the Escalade driver, called 223 Remington Way to let the auctioneers know that they potentially had another agent, or someone trying to steal the merchandise.

The wounded prisoners were unconscious in surgery, when the surgeons noticed foreign objects in the prisoners bodies. The foreign objects were suspicious, so a member of the Stoeger bomb squad scrubbed into the operating room. He brought a chemical sniffer with him, and after running the probe near the object, the sniffer showed the presence of C-4. The bomb squad officer went to each of the other operating rooms, and checked the other assailants for the devices. After finding more, he left the operating rooms, and called the Stoeger Police chief to let him know. A fire raged inside the isolation cell, consuming the cot that was in there. Police officers ran in with fire extinguishers, and the blaze was under control in short order. A call was placed to the emergency medical center, to let the officers there know that the assailant was dead. The officer in charge made the decision to have the doctors remove the explosives, and bomb squad personnel would detonate it in the detonation chamber. The assailants, still in medically induced comas, were prepped again for surgery. The C4 was carefully removed from each assailant by a tag team of doctors and bomb squad members. The auctioneer was smiling at this point. His cut of the auction was one percent, and if getting Platao drunk would significantly drive up the auction price, then he wouldn't stand in the man's way. He said, "Certainly, one should be on the way momentarily". A minute later, the door to Platao's room opened, and a man came in with a glass and a bottle of vodka.
Meanwhile, the assailants were placed in recovery after their surgeries. The plan was to keep them in medically induced comas until they could be moved to separate facilities around the ASoGM. The ASoGM government had no intention to extradite them to The Aaronian Empire, when they had crimes to answer for in the ASoGM first.

OOC: Sure. BTW, are the bonds real?
IC: Verification of the bonds authenticity began, and once complete, would be counted. Meanwhile, the man that had entered Platao's room called to another man in the hallway. The second man entered the room, and they carried Platao and his case to the elevator, and descended to the parking garage. There, they got into a sedan, and drove to the airport. Once at the airport, they shook Platao until he awoke, handed his case of bonds to him, and told him to go to the ticket counter. He was told to tell the ticket agent that his name was Mister Macaw, and that there was an open ticket waiting for him. Then, they told him to get out of the vehicle.
Meanwhile, the 7 prisoners were being prepped for transport. Their restraints were checked to make sure they were secure, then the prisoners were loaded into separate ambulances, still in medically induced comas. Each prisoner was going to a different SuperMax prison, until such time they could be tried for their crimes. He handed a small note to East and said, "Call this number once you're out of the country. You'll get the arming codes then. Due to the fact that they still needed to heal from the surgeries, they were still restrained in hospital beds. IVs were set up, so that the prisoners could receive the necessary nutrients and fluids. Once their wounds healed, they would be put into regular SuperMax cells and allowed solid food.
ASNN, one of the largest news networks in the country, released a story about an intense gun battle in the city of Stoeger. According to the story, the battle was located in an abandoned amusement park, and included, city and state police, as well as federal troops and helicopters. Intermixed with the story were photographs of an ever increasing amount of body bags as they were lined up, as well as video of state bomb squad members searching the amusement park. Weapons caches were also seen in pictures and videos, and according to the reporter, several gunmen were arrested.

RE: terrorists
The gun battle was with local anti-government militants, not the international terrorists you warned us about. Also, how did you come to the conclusion that the warheads and plans came from our nation? The ASoGM is not missing any warheads, missiles, or plans according to our daily inventory. We have very strict security on our nuclear stockpile, and every functional warhead is accounted for.
Meanwhile, at one of the prisons, one of the prisoners looked like he was waking up. A voice came over the loudspeaker and asked his name, and why he attacked Stoeger Police. Hopefully, grogginess would help in getting those answers.
OOC: The warheads you received are real, but their paperwork was falsified and marked as unusable. Once they were slated to be destroyed, it was relatively easy to fake the dismantling of these weapons, and spirit them off. There are no identifying marks on the weapons, to lead back to the ASoGM.

At the prison, one of the guards noticed the prisoner was in a trance-like state. He entered the room, and hit the prisoner for several seconds with his handheld stun gun. The second guard alerted the interrogator to the incident, and was told to keep a better eye on the prisoner. Interrogators at each prison ordered guards to give the prisoners the same treatment as the first prisoner was receiving. 'A few days of no sleep and no food in their bellies should be sufficient to wear them down, so interrogation could begin', thought the head agent of the Allied States Intelligence Agency. The captivity and interrogations were all off the books, as the prisoners had officially been declared dead before being moved from the medical center.
Agent Stevens went with the soldiers to the ANCSI building. He kept his briefcase with him, which had a laptop with webcam, his encrypted satellite phone, and digital voice recorder, as well as legal pads and pens. His luggage containing changes of clothes was stored in the back of the limo.

Besides the officers and National Guard that were here, apparently there was an engineer examining the park, was attacked, and the assailants attempted to kidnap him. Luckily, he was able to escape. If you follow me, he's over here". The agent led him over to the Escalade driver, who had half tattered park plans and a hard hat in his hands.
Agent Stevens rose and said, "My government would like me to interview the prisoner that you captured, the one that had the nukes and plans. His number is 24459F0DD934M4DF459T, if I remember correctly. An interview is vital to our investigation into the auction, as it has been claimed that the auction is or was taking place in our nation".
The trucks containing the assailants weapons arrived at Fort Steyr. The weapons were quickly switched out for the appropriate caliber weapons, suitable abused to make it look like the weapons recovered from the crime scene. Then the assailants true weapons were placed under lock and key, with only the base commander having the key. The crates were re-sealed, so that they looked like they did when they left the amusement park.
The prisoners were kept in miserable conditions for 24 hours. Then, one of the interrogators entered the room of man who identified himself as Mike Jones. The interrogator looked at the doctor, nodded, and watched as the doctor administered a synthetic anticholinergic drub into the IV (OOC: anticholinergics are deliriants). All government contracts with Wolftech (arms manufacturer in The Aaronian Empire) required them to put a serial number on all shells, guns and bullets. number 29342HSMS. He input this number into his blackberry and did a database search for the number. Yep, it was a match to the "stolen" weaponry. This evidence will help. He proceeded to tell his escort of this evidence.
Glodin said, "He was moved to interrogation room delta this morning. I'll bring you there now. Glodin stood and took Stevens to the outside 2-way mirror. East (Jansonily) was inside. "I'll be monitoring from out here so as to verify anything said. You may refer to him by his number or as Jansonily, whatever you want."
Within minutes, Jones was screaming. He could barely remember who he was but he was still pretty sure he was a terrorist. He screamed again.

OOC: Check here, his death was faked. http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=14111646&postcount=88 Also, are you telling the agents with you that you found a shotgun shell, or that you know the "terrorist" group was at the park due to the shell being of Aaronian manufacture? My next question is, if Platao is already in the ASoGM (he arrived with McBane), then shouldn't I be meeting with East?

ooc: sorry, I meant to say East, I'll edit that. The shotgun shell was part of the weapons shipment "stolen" by the terrorists. That links the shell to the Franklininian Alliance, AKA the fake terrorist organization. That was one of the reasons Emperor Aaron said that the terrorists might be in ASoGM

OOC: But did you tell my agents that you found a shell, or that by finding that serialized shell, you know the "terrorists" were at the park?
IC: Agent Stevens went into the interrogation room, and closed the door behind him. He took his digital voice recorder out of his briefcase, set it on the table, and turned it on. He then took out his laptop, opened the top, and turned it on. Once it was booted up, he turned the webcam to "Jansonily", and captured a picture. He quickly sent it through the cellular modem to the ASBI (OOC: Allied States Bureau of Investigation), so they would have a face to go with the interview. Once the picture was sent, Agent Stevens looked at "Jansonily" and asked, "Where did you come into possession of the nuclear materials, and who gave them to you? What can you tell me about the auctioneers, their procedures, and the materials you were caught with?".
The interrogator at the prison let "Mike Jones" scream a while longer. While he was screaming, the audio recorders were going, hoping to catch a fragment of the truth.

One of the agents made a phone call to his superior to give him the information, while the other one pulled an evidence bag out of his pocket, opened it, and asked McBane to place the shell in it. Once the shell was in the evidence bag, the second agent sealed the bag, signed it, and held onto it until it could be given to an evidence tech.
Agent Stevens waited for "Jansonily" to speak. Hopefully, the questions asked would be answered quickly, so Agent Stevens could get back to his investigation in the ASoGM.

McBane picked up a few more shell casings and then asked the escalade driver, "So... what happened here?"
Jansonily looked at him and said, "I'll tell you everything that won't lead you to the FA. As I have said previously, I got the weapons in the ASoGM from an organization known as Iron Fist. We were to bring bearer bonds to the Abandoned Amusement park where we met an Escalade driver. We were taken to a van and we switched out our cases full of bearer bonds for a different case. They took us to 223 Remmington Way, a giant office building. They put us on different floors and we bid through a video monitor. I won the auction and they gave me the plans and the warheads (/missiles) and I was on my way to Aaronia. Does that answer your questions?"

One of the agents shadowing McBane got out more evidence bags, to put the shell casings into. Meanwhile, the Escalade driver said, "I was sent here to show some potential investors that the amusement park is still a viable investment, with some maintenance and repairs. A group of men showed up, all dressed the same and carrying cases ranging from briefcase to suitcase size. I figured they were the investors I was supposed to meet, and got my hard hat and blueprints out of my vehicle. That's when I started hearing explosions over there", while indicating the direction of the side entrance. After the driver finished talking, the agent with the evidence bags said, "Detective McBane, I've got some evidence bags for those shell casings. Next time though, I should take evidence photographs before you pick them up".
Agent Stevens asked, "Some of them, but I have more. You took possession of the nuclear materials on ASoGM soil? Can you tell me any more of your contact with Iron Fist? Why did you have to switch out your cases? What was the amount of money you paid for the weapons? Can you tell me about the bonds? Can you tell me of the other bidders?". While he was asking the new questions, he was taking notes on the legal pad. The notes were redundant, but he liked to have a backup of the interview.
At the prison, the interrogator waited until it looked like "Mike Jones" was under the full effect of the synthetic hallucinogenic drug. Then, he and the doctor entered the room. Administered into the IV was sodium thiopental, which would take effect before Jones would start coming down from the hallucinogenic. Once under the effect of the sodium thiopental, the interrogator asked Jones, "What is your real name, soldier, and what was your mission?".
The Aaronian Empire

Mike Jones had, by now completely forgotten his original identity. The drugs had had an opposite effect and had, through the hallucenogen, reinforced his fake identity in his own mind. He was no longer Sam Tensley of the Aaronian Armed Forces, he was Mike Jones of the Franklinian Alliance. "I told you that I am Mike Jones of the Franklinian Alliance, I am here to stop the RBAA from getting nuclear weapons"
"Thanks said McBane as he put the shell casings in the bags. He then took the bags and said, "I'll need my own for the Aaronian Investigation, hope you don't mind." He then turned to the driver and said, "I'll need your name and the name of the company you work for. I want to varify this with them"
East looked again at the man and said, "That all seems extremely trivial but here it goes, I paid 27 million credits for them and the bonds were just normal untraceable bonds. I think that's why those guys on Die Hard tried to steal so many of 'em. I think we switched cases, just in case there were any surprise hidden. I had a gun in mine in the off chance that they would double cross me... I gave a description of the people I met to a sketch artist so you can ask them for that picture. I contacted Iron Fist in the way mentioned on the online videos. I called...no one answered...they called back. Oh and the weapons were handed over on ASoGM soil. Is that all the info you needed?" "A lie, I'm sure. You must know you're facing execution for your crimes. You've illegally smuggled weapons and explosives into our country, murdered police officers, and committed acts of terrorism. If you tell us the truth, you might live".
The agent that had handed the evidence bags to McBane said, "I'm sorry, but those shell casings will have to remain with an evidence tech, it's procedure. You'll have complete access to them once they're processed, though", as he extended his hand for the evidence bags containing the shell casings. As the agent finished talking, the driver said, "My name is Louis Herion, and I work for Iron Industrial Engineers, Inc. The owners of the amusement park, 4 Corners Entertainment contracted with Iron Industrial Engineers to provide technical expertise for park, as there were concerns that the park wouldn't be a viable investment due to structural problems".
Agent Stevens said, "We're hoping to trace the money by the amount of bearer bonds, which is why I asked. What was your intention with regards to the nukes? And you didn't answer my question about the other bidders".
OOC: Agent Stevens isn't a member of Iron Fist. He's completely on the level. As are the agents shadowing Detective McBane. There is somewhat of a coverup, in regards to the prisoners, but these agents aren't part of that agency.

McBane took out his camera and snapped a few photos of the shell casings, including the serial numbers and then handed them to the investigator. "Sorry about that, we have different procedures in the Aaronian Empire." He turned to Herion, "Well Louis, unless you have any more info, like the types of guns they were firing, I'll head over to Iron Industrial engineers to check this out"
Jones (as that is who he thought he was) said, "I am telling the truth, what do I have to do to prove it to you" The drugs were having similar effects on the other soldiers as well.
"There were 3 other bidders mentioned. 1 was mentioned but apparently never arrived, another was shot for something treacherous, and the other also bid using Aaronian credits, I think he was from the RBAA but I can't be sure. We were gonna use the nukes to threaten the AE and have them put Frank Franklinian's grandson on the throne. In other words, a complete overthrow of the Aaronian government. It would have been glorious. The capitalist pigs wouldn't have known what hit them"

OOC: Not by the agency already there. BTW, Louis Herion's story is legit, except for the fact that the auction was supposed to be run here too, unbeknownst to Iron Industrial Engineers or 4 Corners Entertainment.
IC: "No, I don't. I never saw the shooters. I just got out of there quick, when my vehicle got hit with some sort of explosive. It wasn't a lot of damage, so it was still drivable" Louis Herion said.
"If you're not going to tell me the truth, then I guess it's no sense delaying your tribunal. That will begin tommorrow. The penalty for a guilty verdict will be death". The interrogator turned to the doctor and said, "Let's go. He's useless as is, so we'll have to go to plan B". With that, the interrogator and doctor left, closing the door behind them. The guards were instructed to not disturb the prisoner, and let him sleep if he so chose. The interrogator went back to his office, and called the other prisons. After hearing the similar results, the other interrogators agreed to hold their tribunals.
Agent Stevens said, "Well, I think that's all for now. I'll want to talk to you again tomorrow". He packed up his things, knocked on the door to the interrogation room, and waited for the door to be opened. Once outside, he said to Councilman Glodin, "I'll need copies of the sketches of the auctioneers, and I'll need time to relay all of this information to my superiors. One problem is, 223 Remington Way is an old building, scheduled to be imploded in a couple of days. I'll get them to declare that building a crime scene, so it can be thoroughly searched. And I'll need to talk to the prisoner again tomorrow".

"I'm not a nuclear engineer, so I'll need to send photos back so the proper people can examine them. I think that can wait until tomorrow morning, if it's alright with you. I'm pretty tired right now, so a hot shower and some rest are exactly what I need".
One of the agents said, "That's not a problem, Detective. I believe a reservation has been made for you, at the Double Barrel Resort. It's the best hotel in Stoeger, and we can take you there straight away".
The guards said nothing, as they were ordered not to disturb him. Some time later, two new guards came to replace the current ones. Once the orders were passed on, the two new guards took their post, while the two other guards left.
223 Remington Way had been scheduled for demolition in 2 days, and was already prepped for implosion. The problem was, Iron Fist couldn't take the chance that something had been left behind during the auction. The building was secured by Feds, but it wouldn't be for long. Under the cover of darkness, a well trained Iron Fist strike team shooting suppressed weapons quickly and easily killed the few federal agents near the explosives controls. Once that was done, a new detonator was wired in, and the strike team evacuated from the building. When they were safely away, they triggered the detonator. 223 Remington Way neatly pancaked down into it's own footprint, burying any evidence and the bodies of the federal agents the strike team killed.

McBane woke the next morning, and went to the lobby so that he could contact the inspectors that shadowed him. He didn't mind as the same procedure was followed in the Aaronian Empire. Today he was going to visit 223 Remington Way to check out the location of the auction. Little did he know that it had been demolished while he slept.
A doctor came in after Jones fell asleep. He injected a sedative into the IV, so that Jones wouldn't wake up for a few hours, because he was going to be moved. In fact, all the prisoners were going to be moved to the same complex, where they would remain until the end of their tribunal. Once all the prisoners were sedated, they were prepped for transport. Hours later, all the prisoners were in the same Supermax facility. Fully restrained, they were moved into rooms identical to the ones they had been in. Guards were posted, and military lawyers were called. The tribunal members were a Navy Admiral, an Air Force General, and an Army General. A mountain of evidence, including fingerprints lifted from the recovered weapons, fake passports, eyewitness testimony, and other evidence began arriving.
The two agents that were shadowing McBane were waiting in the lobby for him, and they had very serious expressions on their faces. They waved for McBane to come over to them, and when he arrived, they told him of the destruction of 223 Remington Way. One of the agents said, "The demo work was already there, and the charges were already placed. It could have been an electrical malfunction, or it could have been sabotage. It'll take months to dig down to where the explosives controllers were though". The other agent said, "In addition, 10 federal agents were in the building when it imploded. As if our forensic backlog wasn't big enough".
Agent Stevens arrived at the hotel room, and quickly typed up his initial report, and bundled it along with copies of the recordings, police sketches, and notes into a diplomatic pouch. Once the information was sealed into the pouch, he had it sent to the airport, where the jet he arrived on would take it to the ASoGM, then return. After that, he passed out, waking only once during the night. He ate something, flipped through the TV channels a few times, then went back to sleep. In the morning, he woke up, showered, and ate. Then, he proceeded to the lobby, calling Councilman Glodin on his satellite phone.

It is possible the ones who held the auction were responsible and they may have left evidence that they returned... Do any of the nearby buildings have security cameras?"
Glodin answered the phone with a "Good morning Stevens, I assume you're ready to see the confiscated weapons and blueprints. A car will be ready when you get downstairs. We will have your breakfast in the car as the weapons are being held in the coastal city of Capitalistia. It will be a long and hopefully uneventful drive." (ooc: they don't have an airport in Capitalistia as it is a new city still being constructed. It is a planned city and the only one built on the Aaronian mainland after Aaron took the title of Emperor. If you want some terrorists to attack the car or the facility, I would be okay with them getting past port security. Just an idea.)

One agent said, "We checked, but none of the surrounding buildings have external cameras. Also, there were no eyewitnesses, because all the area streetlights were previously removed due to the scheduled demolition in a few days. If it was Iron Fist, they knew exactly when to strike". The other agent finished with, "They'll be sifting through the rubble for weeks, if not months. There's really nothing to find there right now".
Agent Stevens was already in the lobby, and had already eaten, so he didn't have much of the food in the car. He did take the opportunity to make a call on his satellite phone, letting his superiors know that he was on the way to Capitalistia to inspect the captured nuclear materials. That way, by the time he arrived, there would be experts back in the ASoGM waiting to view the pictures Stevens was going to take of the warheads and blueprints.
Military defense lawyers started to arrive at the Supermax facility where the prisoners were being kept. They didn't go directly to their clients, but instead started to pour over the mountain of evidence. The case was going to be impossible to win, as there were too many eyewitnesses and too much physical evidence placing the prisoners at the scene. The defense lawyers did their jobs though, and after hours processing the evidence, were ready to see their clients. Each lawyer stepped into the holding room, waiting for their clients to regain consciousness.

IC: Platao was brought to an interrogation room, where he was handcuffed to the desk. Shortly after he was placed in there, a federal agent named Joshua Chesterfield came in and introduced himself. He then asked Platao for his account of things, including descriptions of the auctioneers, the vehicles they were driving, and where the auction took place.
Agent Stevens asked, "Lead the way, Councilman Glodin. Is it possible for me to get copies of the fingerprints, so I can have them run against the ASoGM federal fingerprint database?". Once they arrived at where the nuclear warheads were being stored, Agent Stevens began by taking some pictures, including any stenciled lettering on the outside. He would transmit the pictures to the experts afterwards.
The agent said, "Well, there's a continental breakfast here in the hotel that I hear is excellent. My parents stayed here last year, and they couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed it". The other agent came back from his phone call and said, "A few of the bodies are ready to be viewed, whenever we're ready". OOC: No delay. The bodies were already switched out.
The military lawyer said, "So, are you pleading guilty to the charges? The tribunal is unlikely to be lenient in their sentence, unless you can provide some intel that would make a difference. Right now, you're facing multiple counts of capital felony murder, attempted kidnapping, illegal weapons and explosives trafficking, illegal entry into the ASoGM, trespassing, and destruction of private property. You're looking at execution unless you can give the ASoGM information of sufficient value. Extradition isn't being considered in this case, as the crimes are considered too heinous".

OOC: These nukes weren't sold by my nation. They were sold by a criminal organization called Iron Fist. Of course, nobody knows that except the people that attended the auction, and is suspected by both The Aaronian Empire and the ASoGM. So sending an unaddressed message like that will get you a lot of blank stares.
OOC: I was talking to whomever was selling the nukes

"Well, what kind of info can I give? They told me that if I told the truth, they wouldn't kill me..." said jones to the Lawyer
Platao looked at the interrogator and gave the same basic description that East had given them. He however told them one extra bit of evidence, "The other bidder, the one from the FA, he claimed to have a weapon and explosives in his original case, is that helpful"
"That does sound delicious, but I'd rather look at dead people on an empty stomach, if you know what I'm saying," replied McBane as he felt his stomach growl (ooc: so did they shoot dead bodies in order to fake them or what?)
Glodin handed him the copies of the fingerprints saying, "I had 'em all ready for ya. As you can see, this is some hardcore stuff, does it match the kinds of things they have in ASoGM or is that classified?"

Glodin handed him the copies of the fingerprints saying, "I had 'em all ready for ya. As you can see, this is some hardcore stuff, does it match the kinds of things they have in ASoGM or is that classified?"
The military lawyer said to Jones, "There's no way an interrogator would have promised that, as he or she wouldn't have that kind of authority in your tribunal. If you were a uniformed soldier from another country, then the tribunal wouldn't put you to death, as you'd be considered a prisoner of war. But since you claim to be a terrorist, the tribunal won't hesitate to sentence you to death, unless you can give them important enough intel on your fellow terrorists, organization, etc".
"That is helpful, Platao. Let me ask you another question. Is this weapon he carried common in your country?". As he asked the question, he showed Platao a picture of the Stalker pistol.
"Then follow us. The morgue isn't that far away". The agents lead McBane to the morgue, where the autopsies were being performed. Some of the bodies were badly burned, while others had only received gunshot wounds. The first body they were shown was nearly burned to a crisp, with most of the soft tissue being destroyed. The medical examiner said, "I'm afraid Hydra 70 rockets aren't gentle. We are trying to identify this terrorist through dental records. As you can see", the medical examiner said, "there isn't enough meat on the fingers to get a fingerprint match, and the face was pretty well destroyed from fire too". He moved to another body and said, "This one took a shotgun round to the head. There are teeth missing, so a dental match is going to be tough. Fingerprints are currently running, but so far there are no matches". The medical examiner showed a couple more bodies, each having received their fatal injuries from different means. (OOC: All the bodies the medical examiner showed were actually the dead Stoeger police officers, including one of the ones in the first police car to be blown up, at the side entrance).
Agent Stevens said, "I'm no expert, but from the briefing I had before I traveled here, these warheads could be of ASoGM manufacture. Then again, these warheads are probably pretty common in the world, as a lot of nations have Tomahawk missiles. Once I send the pictures to the experts, they should be better able to tell us".

"Yeah, that's the Stalker Pistol, the "Pride of Wolftech" the RBAA went rogue a few weeks before that came out and therefore isn't used much by our men, we do manage to get our hands on them sometimes though. That is a great gun."
"What type of weapons did your officers carry for this assault?" asked McBane as he looked at a couple bodies that looked like they had been hit with several shotguns and others that were loaded with rpg shrapnel. These guys don't look like they were killed by police officers thought McBane
"Now, we can't let you see or copy the blueprints as they might not have come from your country and we can't give nuclear information away, but feel free to take a look at the Tomahawks," said Glodin

"There's a mountain of evidence against you, like your fingerprints on weapons, your blood at the scene, the C4 implanted in your body, your admission in prison that you were at the amusement park. Assuming you're pleading not guilty, you need to tell me how you're innocent despite the evidence, and how you weren't at the park but are here now. That's the only way I can get you out of here alive".
The agent interrogating Platao asked, "And what can you tell me of the Franklinian Alliance? Are they an offshoot of the RBAA, and is it possible that they get Stalker pistols in the same manner as you?".
One of the agents responded with, "M4s, 11-87s, Glock 17s, grenade launchers, and SMAWs were used by both the police and National Guard troops on the ground. The Apaches fired 30mm rounds and Hydra 70 rockets".
Agent Stevens said, "Councilman Glodin, the ASoGM already has the ability to make nukes. Showing me the plans won't change that, but the plans may reveal more about their source".

"THE RBAA HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FRANKLINIAN'S" shouted a slightly enraged Platao. The thought of mistaking the two could drive a loyal member to madness. He then spoke with a false calmness when he said, "The FA is a lot better financed than us, it has richer members and it's members donate all their worldly possessions to the cause. They could have gotten the weapons through the black market or by stealing them"
"That's interesting, because that means that these two men were not killed by your officers," said a pleased McBane as he logged the new evidence. I have enough to prove a cover-up he thought.
Jones sat back thinking when a thought came to mind, "The confession was completely coerced while I was drugged sleep deprived and then shot up with stimulants and more drugs. Can we get it thrown out?"

Agent Stevens said, "Would you be able to contact him, so I could ask him? I really think it might help the joint investigation".
The agent questioning Platao said, "That's funny. One of the captured terrorists said that your terrorist organization and his, which he claimed was an offshoot of yours, attended the auction. Shortly after admitting this to 2 police officers, he arrived at this very jail, and blew himself up with implanted C4. In fact", the agent said, as he pulled some pictures of the dead terrorists, "these are his buddies. Do you recognize any of them?".
The medical examiner said, "How do those wounds prove that? Those are shotgun wounds, and a Remington 11-87 is a shotgun".
The military lawyer said, "From the statements the doctors gave me, you were sedated because you were a potential dangerous individual, even though you were restrained. The sleep deprivation and stimulants as torture or coercion will be near impossible to prove, as stimulants can be administered for a number of reasons, and sleep deprivation can't be tested for. So I don't think the confession will be tossed. There's still the matter of the other evidence, like your prints at the scene, your blood at the scene, and the eyewitness testimony".

The agent asked Platao, "Is there precedent for any of the Aaronian terrorist organizations to use terrorists that have been surgically implanted with C-4? What about ballistic face masks?".
The military lawyer said, "I can put in a motion for testing, but the tribunal might not give us the time to run the tests. If they deny the motion, can you refute the other evidence they have?".

"The RBAA has used it, it was a technique the Aaronian government used to use in their spies and special operatives. We use it sometimes because we stole the idea from them. The FA could be doin' the same thing for all I know, you can buy C-4 pretty easily in the AE," said Platao.
I was forced to be there, they said if I didn't go, then my family would be killed. Does that sound good? But put in for the follicle test.

The first agent said, "The large amount of pellets could just mean multiple hits with the 11-87s. And the officers and National Guard troops also had machine guns". The second agent said, "Let's hold off on the assumptions until ballistics comes back".
"Well, that answers that. Thank you, Mr. Platao, and I'll probably be back later with more questions".
"I'll get on the motion for the test right away. But if you're admitting you were there, then you're admitting guilt to the crimes you're being charged of, regardless of why you claim to be there". With that, the military lawyer stood, and stepped out of the room. He would be gone for hours, writing and filing the motion to have Jones' follicles tested for interrogation drugs. If those came back positive, the lawyer would then file a motion to suppress the confession on the basis that it was coerced.

Agent Stevens looked at the evidence and said, "Well, if the faces of the dead terrorists don't match the faces of the terrorists from your airport's surveillance tape, how does that prove they were there? Also, according to this information, ballistics tests haven't been performed yet. The bodies I saw when I first arrived on scene were pretty tore up, as the police and military were hitting them pretty hard. The gauge of the shells seems odd, but then again, I don't know all the shotgun gauges available in the ASoGM. Then there's the question as to why the ASoGM would cover this up. There really isn't a reason to. Honestly Emperor, I think your investigator might be jumping to conclusions".
The investigator with Platao said, "Sorry, I can't. If you're thirsty though, I can get you some water".
The military tribunal read the lawyer's motion, and denied it. They told the lawyer that the opportunity to challenge the validity of the confession would come during the proceedings. The lawyer left, and returned to Jones' cell. After checking to make sure Jones' restraints were secure, the guards opened the cell door for the lawyer. The lawyer sat back down and said, "The tribunal has denied the motion".
A third agent, older and heavier, walked over to the group and said, "I overheard your conversation and I'd like to point out that the ballistics tests have to be done by someone certified in the ASoGM, in accordance with the law. You're welcome to check the results once the tests are completed, but you can't perform them. I want the results to be accepted without question".

The military lawyer got up without another word, knocked on the cell door, and when it opened, left. The door was quickly closed and locked behind the lawyer, though.
With a smile, Agent Stevens said, "Thank you for your time Emperor, and if I'm ever back in The Aaronian Empire, I will". With that, he extended his hand for a handshake. After Agent Stevens and the Emperor shook hands, Agent Stevens left.

"Allright, I still intended to speak to them, I just didn't need any more information here. Also, if I wasn't here representing the Aaronian Empire, that laughing guy would be on the floor right now with a severe headache," said a now calmed McBane.
Jones sat in his deranged state. He saw demonic carnival animals and was screaming out long complex curses that generally ended with "...your soul." He was waiting for the trial to begin
Glodin followed Stevens out of the office, "Wait here, I'll try to talk him into letting you see those plans." He went back into Emperor Aaron's office and closed the door. A couple minutes later, he came out and said, "Do you think, one of your nuclear specialists could come here and look at the plans?"

A couple minutes later, he came out and said, "Do you think, one of your nuclear specialists could come here and look at the plans?"
One of the agents escorting McBane said, "That would be assaulting a federal agent. I think that's what he was after, so he'd have a reason to have you arrested. It's certainly the wrong way to treat a visiting investigator, though". The other agent said, "Let's get going to Iron Industrial Engineers, Inc, so we can verify Louis Herion's story. Maybe we'll find something there, or think of another place we can look for evidence".
The tribunal would begin in the morning, so Jones would have until then to scream his head off.
Agent Stevens said, "I'll have to make a phone call, to see it that's possible. I don't know what the procedure is, but my boss should". With that, he placed a call to his superior and asked for a nuclear specialist to come to the Aaronian Empire to verify the plans, but Agent Steven's boss said that was going to be impossible at this time. Agent Stevens finished the call, turned to Glodin, and said, "My boss can't and won't authorize that. He said he's getting pressured from the higher ups to order me to wrap my investigation up, and get back to the ASoGM for my next assignment".

"I am really sorry we couldn't let you copy those plans, but once the bureaucracy gets involved, nothing can get done," said an apologetic Glodin. The two agents brought McBane to Iron Industrial Engineers, Inc, where they were quickly ushered into a manager's office. The agitated manager arrived within moments and asked, "Who are you, and what's this about?". One of the agents said, "We're here to verify the employment and last assignment of Louis Herion". The manager said, "Why should I tell you any of that?". The second agent showed his badge and said, "Because we insist". The manager's attitude changed immediately, and he was very cooperative. He verified that Louis Herion did in fact work there, and that his last assignment was to evaluate and display the viability of the Stoeger Amusement park. He went into his office and pulled a set of blueprints for the park, and gave them to the agents. The blueprints matched the ones found at the park. The manager stated that Louis never filed a report on the park, as he never got a chance to do a complete evaluation before someone started shooting at him in the park.
The military lawyer came into the cell in the morning, and watched as Jones strained against his bonds in an apparent attempt to use a non-existant weapon against an empty room. He cleared his throat, and when he had Jones' attention, said, "It's time for the tribunal". Jones' gurney was wheeled into what appeared to be a courtroom inside the prison. The other members of Jones' group already there, similarly secured. Three men sat behind a long desk, facing the rest of the participants. The man in the middle behind the long table was the Navy Admiral, on his left was the Army General, and on his right was the Air Force General. The prosecution team was ready with their physical evidence, witness lists, and recordings. The Admiral banged a gavel on the table and said, "This military tribunal will now come to order. These seven defendants are charged with a multitude of crimes, and have been assembled here so this tribunal can determine their guilt or innocence. Does the defense wish to enter a plea?". Jones' lawyer looked at the defendants and whispered, "How are you pleading?".
Agent Stevens said, "I understand. Before I head back to the ASoGM, I would like to examine that ship, and possibly get copies of its navigational data".
A Stoeger police officer slipped into the interrogation room some time later with a styrofoam cup of vodka. He said to Platao, "It's not top shelf, but it's not the worst either. Just don't tell anyone where you got it". Then the officer left.

"Who informed you of these investors, and do you have any way of contacting them?" asked McBane
"OH NO, HARVEY IS HERE," yelled Jones in reply to his lawyer (ooc: that means, not guilty by reason of insanity)
An hour later, they were at the harbor (ooc: nothing has been adjusted or tampered with on the ship, you may find fingerprints or some other evidence that leads to Iron Fist if they left it) and Glodin handed over copies of the navigation logs and the engine readout and GPS logs. "I hope you can find some evidence," said Glodin
Platao sipped the Vodka savoringly. He would always remember that guard as a great man. He finished a few minutes later and then went to sleep

The manager said, "I said nothing of investors. Louis would have demonstrated the viability of the park through his final report. As to contact, the only people we've been in contact with is the company that owns the amusment park. I'll get you the information". He then took a page out of the file, turned to the copier, and made a duplicate for the agents. It listed the amusement park owner as 4 Corners Entertainment, with a street address of 223 Remington Way, office 2209.
The lawyer turned to the tribunal and said, "Your honors, we are pleading not guilty by reason of insanity". The prosecution responded with, "Your honors, the defendants seemed lucid enough when they were first captured. Also, during the initial interviews, they were compos mentis. In fact, it was only until last night that the guards started reporting weird behavior from the defendants. The prosecution believes this is a ploy by the defense to save the lives of their clients". The Army General turned to the prosecutor and said, "The defendants have the right to enter whatever plea they wish. It's your job to prove that plea wrong".
Agent Stevens put the copies into his briefcase, and asked for a pair of gloves and a fingerprint kit. Once he had those items, he stepped onto the boat, and began a cursory visual inspection. Then he began dusting for fingerprints. He found some partial prints, which he lifted, following the procedures that he learned in his ASoGM federal training. After he finished dusting for prints, he disembarked and met back up with Glodin. Showing him the fingerprints he lifted, he asked, "Is there some place we can run these?".
Sometime later, while Platao was asleep, the officer came back in and quietly picked up the cup. When he left the interrogation room, Platao was still asleep.

McBane turned to an agent and asked, "Are there any records of who rented that office?"
(ooc: all of them are showing different psychological symptoms) Jones then saw Harvey morph into a can of beats holding a chainsaw, "GET AWAY FROM ME, I HATE BEATS AND CHAINSAWS"

One of the agents said, "Let me make a phone call, and see what I can find". He stepped away, made a call, and came back. He said, "It was rented by 4 Corners Entertainment, which is part of Gray Investments, Inc. Gray Investments, Inc is owned by Walter Gray, a wealthy business magnate. His corporate headquarters are in the capital city, Springfield".
Jones' outburst came during the prosecutions opening statement. The Air Force General ordered the defense counsel to silence his client, or the defendants would be removed from the court until they could keep quiet.
Agent Stevens began running the lifted prints from the boat (OOC: You'll have to tell me if they match your database). Once the prints were run through the Aaronian database, any prints that didn't get a match would then be sent to the ASoGM, to be run through the federal database (OOC: none of the Iron Fist members were near the boat, so there isn't any prints of theirs).

Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black
Occupation: Often found working as a sailor on international transport vessels
Crime(s): misdemeanor conspiracy to commit piracy, misdemeanor smuggling, misdemeanor theft

OOC: How did Platao's prints get on the boat, if he arrived back in the Aaronian Empire by plane? Didn't you mean East?
IC:
One of the agents said, "About 4 hours by aircraft. By the time we get to the airport, the plane will be waiting for us". The other agent was busy phoning the airport, to inform them of their need of the agency's jet, and their destination.
The prosecution finished his opening statement, then it was the defense counsel's turn. He stated that his clients were obviously unable to be found guilty of any of the crimes, as the defendants were obviously unable to understand the consequences of their actions. Once the defense counsel's opening statement was finished, the prosecution called in its first witness. It was one of the first Stoeger police officers to arrive on the scene. He described for the prosecution what happened, and during his testimony, the prosecution brought out a TV and vcr. He played the tape in the vcr, and asked the officer if he recognized it. The officer stated that it was taken by the video camera in his squad car. It showed the terrorists opening fire first, with the same weapons that the defendants were found with. The officer described how after the police were able to get into the side entrance of the park, they met up with more officers and engaged the other terrorists towards the center of the park. He identified the defendants as the terrorists they were able to capture alive. (OOC: Did you want to run the defense counsel until the end of the trial, or shall I?).
Agent Stevens copied the information that showed on the scanner, turned to Glodin, and said, "I think we should talk to this James Crobroc".

The 2 agents and McBane arrived at the airport quickly, and boarded the plane. Soon, they were in the air, headed towards Springfield. Aided by a tailwind, the 3 men arrived in Springfield 20 minutes ahead of their projected time. Waiting for them at the airport was an agency car, fully fueled with the keys in the ignition. They drove off in the car, with the navigation system leading them to the massive office building of Gray Investments, Inc. The building was massive, because it took up almost 4 square blocks, and reached 120 stories. The agents led McBane into the building, where they were escorted to Walter Gray's office, which curiously was on the ground floor. They waited for several minutes in the waiting room, until Walter Gray came out. He greeted the 3 agents, and invited them into his office. Once the door was closed, one of the ASoGM agents commented on the owner and CEO of the company having his office on the first floor. Walter Gray responded that he wants to be easily available to any of his employees, and also has a fear of heights. Then McBane was introduced, and the second agent stated that McBane might have some questions for Mr Gray.
When it was his turn, the defense counsel asked the officer if the defendants did anything during the battle that would appear illogical to a lucid person. The officer wasn't sure what the counsel was asking, so he asked him to clarify. The defense counsel asked the officer if it was, in the officer's opinion, sane for someone to have explosives surgically implanted into their body. He also asked the officer if, in his opinion, it was the act of a balanced person to attack when so severely outnumbered, outgunned, and outflanked. The officer stated that he thought someone that would do those things wasn't right in the head. The defense had no more questions, but the prosecution asked to re-direct. The prosecution asked the officer if he had a degree in psychology or psychiatry. The officer stated that he didn't, to which the prosecution asked if the officer felt that he was in any way medically qualified to judge if someone was insane. The officer replied that he wasn't medically qualified, and the prosecution said he had no more questions for the officer. Once the officer left the stand, a lab technician was called. She was sworn in, and the prosecution asked her if she had recovered any physical evidence from the battle. She stated that she had lifted fingerprints and DNA from the terrorist weapons, and that matched up with the defendants. She further stated that she tested the defendants clothes for gun shot residue, which came back positive. Finally, she analyzed the gun camera footage from the 4 Apache helicopters, and upon digital zooming and enhancement of the footage, matched the faces of the defendants to the terrorists on the tapes.
Agent Stevens said, "Mr. Crobroc, my name is Agent Stevens, from the Allied States Bureau of Investigation. We would indeed like to ask you about your recent trip from the ASoGM".

Agent Stevens said, "If you can tell me where you dropped it off, I can get it impounded and checked for prints other than yours. And that can help immensely".
Walter Gray responded to McBane with, "4 Corners Entertainment was a recent acquisition of my company's. One of their assets was the old Stoeger Amusement Park, which I was going to attempt to sell off. See, the problem was, 4 Corners Entertainment was a bloated, wasteful company with too many low worth properties. The Amusement Park, in its current state, generates no revenue, so its worth is low. Hence the need to "trim the fat", so to speak".
The defense counsel asked the forensic lab technician if the evidence chain of custody was broken at any point before or after the evidence arrived at her lab. She stated that at no time, was the chain of custody in question. Counsel then asked if there was a certified evidence tech that signed off on all of the evidence. One of the shell casings was missing a evidence tech signature, to which counsel asked the tribunal to exclude it as evidence, to which the tribunal agreed. It was a small victory, but it was something.

Agent Stevens turned to Glodin and said, "Excuse me for a few moments, I need to call this in to my office, so they can cordon off the area, and seize the van. Hopefully, the van will give us more clues".
Walter Gray said, "As I said, it was a recent acquisition, so I won't be able to tell you much. I can tell you that what I saw was chaos. The filing was atrocious, there were multiple unneeded redundancies, and half the people there were unqualified for their positions. Shortly after I bought 4 Corners Entertainment, the owners of the building stated that it was going to be demolished, so I had everything packed up, and moved to my own office building, where things have been running much more smoothly. As far as Iron Fist, I can only tell you what I've heard on the news. I have no first hand knowledge about them, and I hope to keep it that way".
The tribunal continued on, with the prosecution laying down a rock solid case. The amount of physical evidence was staggering, and the defense had little luck in cross examination of the prosecutions witnesses. The defense had similar luck in presenting its case. The defendants were no help, and there was no way to prove that the defendants were insane before and during the assault. Once the defense had finished its case, the tribunal left to deliberate. It wasn't long before they came back, and passed a judgment of guilty on all counts. The defendants were sentenced to death, and the sentence would be carried out 2 at a time, with the first 2 to be executed in 2 weeks. Jones was scheduled to be executed last, and since there was an odd number of prisoners, would be executed by himself. The defendants were then wheeled back into their cells, and before the guards locked the doors, took a photo of each one.
OOC: Walter Gray isn't part of or involved in Iron Fist.
