Zanski's Troops, less than two months after leaving mhoudia formally, has moved in 700 elite troops to protect marijuana plantations in Mhoudia from the Eastern Arab Union Forces (formerly Dar-ul-ummar), who have vowed to destroy the Hashishi and Jabali drug cartels in the Green Mountains region of Jayiria. The assault only resulted in 10 deaths as the EAU retreated straight away.
Marijuana is completely legal in Zanski,and is a religious rite in the native Gharrakman religion, and the recent pullout completely ignored the fact that the Green Mountains supplied 90% of Zanski's marijuana.
Zanski insists that its troops are not there to occupy Northwest Mhoudia, but to protect the will of the people there and the business that many people in Mhoudia have relied on since the start of the Mhoudian Civil war thirty years ago.
The Drug cartels, owned by the Jabali and Hashishi families, also employ 900 militiamen each to carry out their work, which is often defending the plantations against EAU forces or kidnapping their generals.
