(OOC: Give me a War)
http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=569297
Here is the IC thread. Keep all OOC here, please.
Essentially, who is interested in getting in a little tussle with me? I'll detail more information on my military later on, depending on interest, since most of the people here on the II forums, I don't know anymore, as those who are familiar with me and my military don't seem to frequent that much anymore.
Why does nobody reply? Bump.

Population isn't that big of a deciding factor.

Hurrah!
any ideas as to a possible story line?
It's a colonial war of independence. The splitting of multiple castes on the fringes of the Jenrakian Amalgamate has created a nation formed out through rebellious violence. Although they ask for representation in the Amalgamation as a separate, self-function province like the others, word gets out that these rebels are resorting to horrible methods that force the Jenrakian military to intervene when diplomacy fails. Sadly, the Jenrakian military has no qualms on leveling the entire frontier to retreat borders and strengthen their hold. However, that motive is not known, nor are the politics of the rebels known. To the outside world, it just looks like a province wants independence and Jenrak won't give it to it, so they decide to glass it.

that sounds like it would be good, i'll probably try to allying with you, unless the rebels want to adopt a similar system of government. Do you think it would be better to help the rebels?

It's all up to you, and it all depends on what your nation's perspective and politics decide it to be. There is the question of both nation sovereignty and human rights, as well as the question of what will happen economically should one side with the other. Of course, it all goes down to your country's personal preference - mind you, the rebels will likely be more gracious for your assistance in fighting for their independence, but the mainland will likely yield more rewards.

IMy nation would go for the more economic reasons as well as the similar ideology. otherwise the people might start to think rebellion was supported

Would you be down to RP some sort of crisis between our nations that may or may not lead to war

A crisis is more than fine. Depends on what it is, though.

Indeed Jenrak focuses more on maintaining the economic state, which is why there has been little unity within the Jenrakian provinces. Of course, this makes projecting their power very difficult, but it's nevertheless more rewarding to help the government. Ideology wise, on the other hand, Jenrak is a highly religiously and culturally narrow nation, with little tolerance towards outside religious or cultural influences. I've gotten into a few tussles before on the grounds of religions with other people.

I have a gmail account, so it should be fine. What is it?
As an update, I'll be getting a post up in the next few hours. The imagery is a bit odd, so to let you know in advance, it's going to begin with Jenrakian stealth soldiers under the cover of darkness to capture the Tsellian (Jenrak's religion) priest and hold him for ransom. The Priest is the Queen's nephew, and thus it prompts an immediate reply from Rashkta.

God damnit, sorry I forgot. How large would you prefer the force?
EDIT: I'll be off for a few, don't know how long, maybe tomorrow.

Smaller groups would be better, since I don't want this city leveled. Just to turn it into a battlefield, but not structurally battered.

How much is small?
Would an Air-Ground Regiment (Air Cavalry Basically) 1000~
Latican Trooper Legion 6000~
Latican Armored Company 45~ (Neo-Panzer II-5D)
Would that be too much or too little?
Small is relative to you, my friend. What you would consider small, since we have a large size difference.

Since we got those two with the rebels (and since my nation's ultra-capitalist in economic dealings and an authoritarian oligarchy politically - therefore not too supportive of rebellions that might inspire ideas), I'll send in a task force to support the government's side. Nothing too big, enough for a fleet to send in and they'll be it - win or lose.

That's understandable. I'll only be sending in a small force of my own as well, since this isn't a full blown civil war.
