Okay, another RP from me! Since i'm still working on Sky Of Aces II, and I had to watch Snatch & Lock Stock for my Media Project in college, I was inspired to do an original (I hope) RP about several gangs in my nation.

Now, as a RP, this may seem somewhat difficult - if these are in my nation, then it would be Godmodding if you all went around RPing my people. Instead, the rival gangs can be from your respective nations, with their own culture, colours, name etc. The RP would be set in one city, rather than expanding over the entire country or even other nations. You can obviously have ties to gangs in your nation, such as importing/exporting illegal materials (eg Drugs, Guns etc).

Cue bloody gangland violence, dirty deals, cop chases and swearing. I'm hoping this will be popular ;)

The Valkyrie's Sons gang is fairly new in Ustio North, being one of the organizations that left their homeland because they couldn't break even where they were. They haven't been in Ustio North for very long, and are still attempting to acquire territory. The Sons see themselves as patriots, leaving Steelios to establish a sort of base for other ex-pats to immigrate to. The Sons have no actual preferred activity, but dabble in the illegal when it suits their purpose, when they need money, for instance.

Do you have a limit on front businesses for this? I'm thinking of joining, but an organized group of criminals from Santheres are more likely to, say, have built up a good-sized casino and used that as their front while doing loansharking, prostitution, and extortion; and likely bribing public officials depending who and how helpful that is in Ustio.

No, I don't have a limit on front businesses in this. Obviously, larger gangs have more fronts than smaller ones, such as myself.

I don't think that one gang should have an absolute monopoly on a certain front - or maybe they should, and that's where the crime really begins. Bribing of public officials is perfectly illegal ;), as are the other fronts you mentioned, so you're okay with that sort of thing. Just as long as we stay away from stuff like "Nuclear Arms Trading" and the like, then i've no problem.

They also back the popular Gianpiero Casino, where the most expensive of the prostitutes are seeded, and also where the money laundering is done through. It also helps supply the funds for bribes, and loans.

Please note, when reading my post, that I'm playing this gang as though it's MT. Perfectly MT, including the lack of contact between worlds. Also, keep in mind the name of the gang. That should tell you everything ;)

Agreed this is gangwarfare so I doubt we should see tanks, heavy military stuff, military planes and whatever.

The Red Tide Mafia has access to tanks, all the way up to T-72s, in addition to other military equipment. Granted, they only bring them out when operating in warzones. Which is not the case. The only armored fighting vehicle you'll see will be the (hidden) BTR-60 guarding Don Trastak's mansion.

I'm afraid not. I've not got a map of the city, and i cannot for life of me use photoshop, paint etc.

If I find a map, i'll try and edit it - just don't get your hopes up.

Really? Cos I have a plan to rob the three bigest banks in the city at the same time, and I assumed the cops would interfere.

Just so everyone knows, given that my mob has a legitimate business covering the illegal activity, we can't really go out of our way and harm or kill the other gangs. You guys should make use of the casino or our sideline businesses. I plan to play a "neutral" kind of ground, if possible, and as long as we don't get cheated.

Well, it's being run by my group. The people attending are simply people who are in the know. If you want to have someone there, then they can be. As far we're concerned, it's just business and we don't necessarily care who you are as long as we've had the time to do a background check (and, of course, you have to gain Mario's attention on the floor -- it's pretty stereotypical).

He's a gambling addict, owes money from poker game, I'm guessing he's probably connected, because if he was a casino regular, than he would owe the casino a lot of money, that is, he's not very good at gambling.
