"INN Chief-Field Correspondent Keith Greene coming to you live from outside Kraznow City in the Southern Province of Waram. It appears that a consolidated, province-wide offensive by a secessionist movement led by former Imperial Army Vice-Marshal Popinar. Overnight, Vice-Marshal Popinar mobilized his provincial division and seized most of the province from loyalist militias. The situation in Waram has lead to the mobilization of Imperial Forces in neighboring provinces to destroy the rebel forces. Kraznow is poised to fall to rebel forces by the end of the day, Loyalist Forces are in a state of slow retreat to regroup and counterattack say top Imperial Military Officers. Most of the Province of Waram is now under rebel control and they appear to be digging in."
Communique to all nations of the World:
My fellow citizens, it is with great sadness that I must renounce my loyalties to my government, the Imperial High-Chancellor and my pseudo-countrymen. I, along with forces loyal to me unilaterally are announcing the independence of the Republic of Waram. Although I love my country, I love Waram more, and I cannot serve a government which doesn't put the will of it's citizens first. I, along with all citizens of Waram humbly request the recognition of our independance and also request the aide in the defence of our sovreign lands from fascist oppression. Long live the Republic!
