On the shores of Carnelaian Island sat the boat that would shuffle the Leader Myaarisa and her lover Kayiziki to many countries. Probably nations all the more wealthy than them but it mattered not they were happy that they we're finally getting to meet with leaders. Progress of Carnelian's diplomacy had been slow, they ended isolation only months ago, and then in May a terrible cyclone struck the island.

"This is so exciting." Kayiziki shouted. She sounded almost like a child.

"It is, Kay, but we still haven't left port yet. Keep packing everything."

"I know, but it's great. We get to finally meet leaders. One's who don't care what race we are."

"Let's only hope so."

"It shouldn't be any big secret that we are an Elven race."

"Well not everyone knows of us. But I admire your optomisim."

"Well, our Kimonos are all packed. We should probably consider buying Western dresses on our tours."

"Perhaps, though I figured our Kimonos would suffice. Captain, are we ready?"

"We are ready Milady." He said.

"Great. Our first destination is the AHSCA chain, you have all our maps?"

"Check."

"Crew assembled?"

"Check."

"Emergency rations?"

"Check check and check. I've been sailing the seas for a long time milady, trust me."

"I'm always careful you know that."

"Of course. Neither rain, storm, nor sea monster will stop this boat. Go to your cabins as we prepare for launch off, you ladies."


Both went to the cabin really only to undress, they would spend most of the morning sunbathing.

Day two came with rough seas and stormy skies. Myaarisa and Kayziki sat inside playing a game of strategy, undoubtly just the first of many to come in the future of the journey.

Day Three, they approached AHSCA, having no modern equipment all they could do is run up the white flag to show they weren't a hostile ship.

"That must be the envoy from Carnelian Island. Send a squad to bring them in."

A militia squad was deployed to escorte the ship into port. "Welcome to AHSCA ladies, please follow us, the Duchess is expecting you."

Some of the clean up was still occurring, it was still obvious a hurricane hit not to long ago. If it weren't for the efforts of Imperial and Mokastana, it would be a lot worse.

Leading in to meet with Shino they sat them down. Shino was wearing the new dress given to her by her husband. She first wore it for the the Imperial Family.

"Hello, welcome to AHSCA. I'm Shino, this little one here is my daughter Marcella."

"Oh she's adorable." Myaarisa said. "Thank you for the warm welcome Lady Shino, we're glad to be able to vist your islands. This is my lover Kayziki. We have no children but we've been thinking of adopting one or more."

"We love kids, we really do."

"Children are wonderful. I hope you get to experience the wonder of having them. I heard you were hit by a cyclone not to long ago, I'm very saddened by it. We really couldn't do much for you back then."

"Well if we ever wish to give birth, we need only hire a man to pregnate us. It's actually a common culture practice. Oh thank you for your sympathy, we understand of course. You were just hit with a bad storm not to long ago your selves right? We can tell. Anything we can do?"

"Oh thanks, we're okay. We have plenty of help from the the Imperials and from Mokastana. You just enjoy the tour here. I wish though we could show you all the islands but you seem to be on a bit of a scheduel. But I've invited all the leaders to come tonight to meet you two."

"Well we look forward to meeting your Island States leaders. What sorts of festivities will we be doing?"

"Do you have hotsprings? We love a good hotspring bath."

"We do. If you enjoy that, we'll do that. A nice meal between us, a hot bath in the springs, we'll even put you up in a hut for the night."

"That would be great. Please will you tell us more about AHSCA? What are the pople like? We don't seem so diffrent from each other. We're both primitive cultures, we belive in tradition and classiness, tell us what are you all like? Tell us a little about your self Lady Shino."

"We are happy with small portions, that's all we really have back home. Fish, fruits and rice."

"They are, my husband is from there. He's off somewhere right now, I can't remember where. Oh I'm sure he'll be back by nightfall, he likes to visit some of the other islands as well. Anyway the other leaders will be arriving soon, if the weather stays good."

"Hmm, stormy seas, make traveling hard. We had a few on our way here."

"Yes, we'll make it through though. We always do. Besides that I love a good thunderstorm."

"Do you? Can't say the same for me, I'm deathly afraid of them. But you may be in luck, we're getting into the early parts of our Monsoon season, it shouldn't be as bad as it was last year, so a thunderstorm is likely. Maybe even a squall or two."

"Squalls are nasty things. I hope we don't have the misfortune of encourting one."

"So, you don't like thunderstorms? Well everyone has something that makes them special, right?"

"That's right. Oh it's my understanding you have a neko population in your states, I take it we'll be meeting some? We sort of feel a kinship with them."

"Yes, Animalpolis has the most nekos and kitsunes and everything else. We may have a few elven people but I'm not sure. Haruhi could tell you if they do or not. Of course we too have a small neko population as well. I'm sure if they chose your island they would love it too. That's assuming you allow immigrants."

"We do, but they have to assimulate. We don't just let anyone in. Not like we're a hot immigrant location being as poor as we are."

"Plus the Communist ideal seems to turn off some people."

"We're not exactly wealthy either, we really can see eye-to-eye. I can't call my self a Communist though, I don't disdaine it, I feel what works best for a nation should be what's done. You may not agree with me though."

"Not entirely, but we see where your coming from. Frankly it's my opinion that the world would be much better if we were all Communist. But don't feel pressured to change you ways for us."

"Oh I certainly won't feel it. We agree to disagree that's good right? We can be civil. My husband's country comes from a long line of Proud Workers. I don't know if they would be Socialists or Communists. But anyway, everyone should be arriving, so please follow me." Shino led them down to the docks where everyone had assembled. "May I introduce, Sir and Lady Aya and Marco from Hoshino. Lady Anja from Truce, Lady Ayla from Corona, and of course Lady Haruhi from Aninmalpolis. Everyone these are the visiting leaders from Carnelian Island."

Everyone bid them hello.

"So many women."

"It's wonderful to meet all of you. You are most gracious hosts."

George was getting back from a small tour of the nation, checking to make sure that the relief was coming along well and coordinating what was left and needed to do. Mokan marines had a bad habit of hitting on locals, especailly once all the work left was just cleaning up and labor.

He had heard that some of the leadership of Carnelian Islands was visiting. An impoverished communist country, how they had survived so long was beyond him, this world had a habit of swallowing the red ideology whole without thinking twice. Perhaps he could get them in contact with his father, get a pro-leftist pact up and running like George had been trying to do in his early years.

As he got off the boat he looked around on the beach for the meeting or a sign of it. Finding a local villager he ask if they knew where the meeting was taking place.

"Yes sir, they're all down currently at the south dock to meet up with the other leaders."

"Well there he is, Ladies my Husband George."

"He certianly is handsom, Lady Shino. You snagged your self a big fish."

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Sir. I take it you are the co-administrator with your lovely wife."

George was flattered by the compliment, but after all he was wearing only a kilt like cloth, leaving his chest bear and sandals for his feet.

Within moments the first flash of lightning and claps of thunder began.

"Darling, I think we just want a women's night."

Aya agreed and also urged Marco do the same.

"Our leadership is made almost entirely of women. It's funny I know. Come on, you ladies can undress completely, given the weather I doubt it very much you want to go out into the jungles to do a bath, so we have a private one. My husband had it built so I wouldn't have to go out into raging storms to bathe, especially with Marcella. "

"Shino may have strange fear," Haruhi said, "But she's still the sweetist most honerable person I've met. I don't always agree with her but I find her very honerable."

"Tell me, ladies," Anja began, "Will you be visting the land of Imperial? My courter is a soldier from there, and I'm sure I'd love to see it if he can go. Not to mention I can obtain passports for you both."

"You are a tough as nails type, Lady Haruhi."

"She's an expert of matching personalities."

"It takes all types to run a Government, my Mother said to me. Shino, sweet, kind, gentle, innocent, you keep the Government from turning into a monster on it's own people and the world. Let me see if I can get the rest of you. Aya, you and your husband are a tag team, you bring balance to the Government, because you know in marriage 50/50 is the key to a good relationship. Ayla, good old fashioned sensibility and levelheadedness. Anja hmm your a toughly, I understand you are the first Elected Leader for your island, so perhaps you bring hope of stability and a bright future. And you Haruhi, strength and strategy. I could see you as leading this country through war."

"All that from a few hours with us?" Anja asked bewildered.

"Well I could...But I'm sure I'll be dead by then." Haruhi said. "Hehe well it's a matter of time before someone duels me for my leadership. It would be cowardly to not accept the duel."

"Haurhi, you can always resign, and become our Defense Advisor." Shino said.

"Meh, we'll see I guess."

"Hmmm....You know, you both said you love rain and storms, so I'm willing to walk with you..." Shino trailed off, she hated the idea of going out into the thunder and lighting.

"Ah Shino, you need not put your fear for us. We can go on our own, maybe have Lady Haruhi guide us. She's got the boldness."

"I think it's kind of cute, your fear. Kind of fetishy."

"I suppose men and women love the timid types more than they admit."

"Well George always holds me tight and close. Marcella seems to not mind them so much, she may get somewhat scared if it get's bad like a squal or gale. I just wouldn't want you ladies to get lost."

"Well everyone on the island is friendly," Ayla said "They wouldn't have to worry."

"Glad that your locals are so kind. Well if it keeps you from worry we won't. We really should set off tomorrow morning, we need an early start. We'll have plenty of nights in the rain to come when we return home. Anyway go be with your husband and baby Lady Shino, we'll retire for the night."

"I'll show you to your hut then. It's not far but we will get wet. You probably won't want to dress." Shino picked up the only lantern. "Come with me." She lead them out into the rain to their hut. "Here you are. Is it all right?"

"Come." The two women stood and followed Shino to the small hut. It was cozy looking enough for two or more people.

"It's perfect, thank you lady. Would you care to stay with us for the night? Spare you the walk in the storm?"

"We're excellent cuddlers."

"We'll be fine. It's a short enough walk, George and I have been through plenty of storms and hurricanes. As I'm sure you two have as well." Shino handed off the lantern to Geroge as they prepared to leave. "Have a wonderful night."

After Shino and her husband left for shelter in their hut, Myaarisa and Kayiziki cuddled up close and talked mostly. "Aren't those two so sweet together? Look how he held her when she was frighted." Kayiziki said.

"These islanders, they have such a simple way of living, and they've suffered so much for it. Between that horrendous war they endured, to hurricanes."

"Ah it's the circle of life, right? They seem to get along fine." They kissed which turned into a longer night of love. The following morning they set off again bidding farewell to their gracious hosts. (it's up to you if you have time to join the voyage or not, you can TG me any details you have.)

George had cooked breakfast that morning, a traditional Mokan dish of pork and fruits. The pork was seasoned to perfection while the grapes, apples and Bananas gave the breakfast color and variety. Offering some to the soon to depart guest he wished them luck, and told them they should stop by Mokastana some time as well, it never hurts to have socialist friends.

"So do I, I think we have made ourselves quite a little niche here, with such wonderful allies and friends. With Imperials and Mokans here to help with the clean up, and new found friends, I believe we have nothing more to worry about, other then the occasional storm my love."

With those words and the faint rumble of thunder Shino placed herself onto George. "Storm indeed."

At sea it wasn't long before a nasty storm struck. Far more rough than the first one the ships crew was struggling against the powerful waves. "Get the lines there!" As the storm subsided they found a lone neko floating in the sea. "We have a stray sailor!" They pulled her out of the water and rushed her into a cabin.

A few hours later they pulled into the port of their destination. "She'll be all right, madam's we'll take care of her and see to her that she becomes awake."

"If she is, as soon as we return we want to know."

"Yes Ma'am."

"Let's go darling."

Both stepped off the boat dressed up in their Kimonos to give a very classy appearance.

The Mokan Naval station had often sent out Tomahawk PT boats out before and after storms to make sure people are OK and no one gets lost.

When a neko boat was found without passengers the Naval Station was set on high alert, its top priority was now to scan the area for any missing sailors.

All boats were deployed and they began scanning the waters for missing persons.


George held his wife as the clouds rolled over the horizon, the muffled thunder roared as flashes of lighting bounced around.

Upon returning home Shino right away scooped Marcella into her arms. "I love you baby."

"I love you too mama." Shino gave her a kiss and rocked her to sleep.

George let his wife rock their daughter to sleep, it was amazing how big she was getting.

"Bloody rebels. They really don't know what's best for them, do they?" Second Marshal Yrenthis, thrown from front to front, was slowly beginning to loath war and as he surveyed the carnage that his armoured divisions had wreaked upon the remnants of the Open Circle Federation, he sighed and turned to his aide. "So then. What's this 'tour' you've been talking about?"

"Lord Yrenthis, I think the delegates have been spotted out at sea." Sighing, Yrenthis turned and said "You mean their SHIP has been sighted. I'll be damned if they swam all the way here." As he spoke, he felt a hand on his shoulder and he turned, only to see the High Lord in front of him. "Calm down, Yrenthis."

Lines of troops stood waiting in the harbour, surrounded by crowds of cheering civillians and as he looked over the picturesque town behind him, the High Lord knew that this would be an interesting tour for those coming to Anemos Major.

The arrival of the boat hadn't gone unnoticed, quite the opposite. And so, as the couple stepped off of the boat, an elderly man, dressed casually, walked up to them. He gave a short bow, then offered, "Greetings, excellencies. I am Douglas Baer, Councilor, and your, ah, tour guide. Please, come with me."

He gestured behind him to a waiting government sedan.
