The MilNet, representing the Commonwealth of Land Warfare Cooperatives, offers to The Royal Providence Armed Forces the FA-65 Assault Rifle (http://forums3.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13482328&postcount=2), the successful spiritual successor of the concept originated by the G11, as a replacement for the FAL. Using a much more modern 6.5x39mm caliber, which is significantly superior to the 5.56mm NATO, and packing support to both caseless ammunition, 50% more lightweight than conventional brass cased ammo, and polymer cased ammunition, 30% more lightweight compared to brass cased ammo, while being an extremely reliable and rugged weapon, combining the ruggedness of the AK series rifles with the accuracy, efficiency and controllable recoil of western rifles, and also packs a very accurate 2-round burst fire mode, where the second round is not going to fly randomly like in the burst of a M-16, which increases drastically its anti-armor capabilities. Its reduced rate of fire ensues much of its accuracy, and for longer-lasting sustainable bursts, while it's also a lightweight weapon, weighing less than five kilograms when loaded with a full 56-rounds magazine. The high round capability of some of its standard magazines also reduces the re-loading need and put it as in a similar position to that of weapons like the G11 and P90 regarding ammunition load capability, which can be very important during an intense firefight, without making it unwieldy.

The Universal Defense Company, representing the combined efforts of both the country of Daiwiz and Falkasia, would like to submit the AK-113 (http://z10.invisionfree.com/Universal_Defense/index.php?showtopic=35) Assault Rifle. This state-of-the-art weapon surpasses most every other competeing design by combining percision craftmans ship with the sheer power and stopping capacity looked for in a weapon of its class. Firing the older but battle-tested 7.62 grain round, the AK-113 packs an incredible wallop, having a stopping power of well over 1000 m/s. When combined with the complimentary and standard 4x Zoom Scope (Normal, Thermal, and Reflex Imaging), this rifle can eliminate threats over 600 yds. The AK-113 is, in essence, the dream weapon for any and all infantry combat soldiers.

Why choose the AK-113 over competitors?
1. Incredible Stopping Power

2. Exceptional Range for an Assault Rifle

3. Larger Magazine Capacity decreases Reload Times

4. Numerous Attachments and Options to fine-tune the weapon to your country's unique environment.

(Not trying to brag or boast about my weapon, but the AK-113 is probably one of the best Assault Rifles to date on NS.)

The Commonwealth would like to option two aircraft for your consideration.

The first is the CV-30 Vogel (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13857787&postcount=1). While it is an aircraft, it is VTOL capable and is meant to completely replace CH-46 and CH-53 medium-lift helicopters. As such, it has been built to carry out all of the missions these helicopters are capable of.

The second aircraft optioned is the F-43 Sleipnir (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=13993077&postcount=35). Built as an air-superiority fighter, it is also meant as a multi-role fighter.

Mondoth
24-09-2008, 09:20
Mondoth Arms Would like to tender the G-20A1 battle rifle for consideration by Tristan Providence. We believe that the G-20A1 better fits the requirement for an FN-FAL replacement by being a true-battle rifle rather than an assault rifle chambered for a less powerful intermediate round. Indeed, the only rifle so far which could actually fill the not inconsiderable boots of the powerful Fn-FAL is the AK-113, the low price of which when compared to the expounded feature-set can only be evidence of extreme low quality.

G-20 A1
Weight; 4.5 kg (loaded)
Action: Rotating Breech
Overall Length: 76 cm
Barrel Length: 58 cm
Cartridge: 7 x 64mm
Effective Range: 550 m
Magazine: 35+1
Firing Modes: Semi Auto/Two Round Burst
Rate Of Fire: 450 rounds per minute (single) (2200 two round burst)
Muzzle Velocity: 930 meters per second
Price; $1,550 (includes 4 loaded magazines), $10 per additional magazine
Features: Attachment rails for; under barrel grenade launcher, bayonet, laser targeting system, IFF transponder. A 1.5x zoom collimating (red dot) sight (can be exchanged for night sight or 5x precision scope)
Optional Equipment:
-High grade, shock absorbing stock pad (decreases perceived recoil slightly while providing a more comfortable seat for the weapon against the shoulder) $25 per unit
-Light intensification scope (non collimating, for night and low light missions) $300 per unit
-5x precision scope (non collimating, for long range shots) $400 per unit
-4x ACOG (reflexive) sight $800 per unit
-Under barrel adaptable weapon can fire grenades, non fatal loads (such as bean bags, batons and other large diameter non fatal rounds) $145 per unit
The G-20 is a rotating breech operated bull-pup Battle Rifle (similar to H&K G-11 series) firing the caseless 7x64mm 'MonMag' battle-rifle round which provides huge advantages in range and power over lighter 'assault rifle' rounds such as 5.56 and 6.8mm 'intermediate calibers'. This powerful ammunition is fed from a top-mounted cassette style magazine that reduces weight and improves the weapon's balance. The G-20 features many of the advantages of its predecessors, including the floating action for dramatically decreased felt recoil enabling the soldier to fire highly accurately even at high rates of fire. The G-20 also features the G-11’s precision machined trigger assembly for improved pull and accuracy over traditional bull-pup weapons which suffer from a 'mushy trigger'. Unlike the primarily plastic G-11 series however, the G-20 is constructed mainly of polymer coated composites for sturdiness and low maintenance with titanium-steel alloy where necessary, the combination of materials makes the G-20 a much more durable weapon than its predecessors while remaining light and full-featured. In field tests the G-20 has proven itself to be an able contender, light and durable as well as easy to maintain and powerful.
The G-20 is fitted with picatinny type rails along the upper barrel and carrying handle for accessories including electronic and optical sights. As well as under the barrel for under-barrel weapons such as grenade launchers and shotguns
The G-20 marks Mondoth’s departure from traditional Assault Rifles and is Mondoth’s first purpose built battle-rifle, delivering a combination of power and accuracy to the warfighter that traditional assault rifles just can’t match.

Ammunition:
GM1125 7x64mm Caseless Match: High quality match ammunition with a steel penetrator, suitable for use against lightly armored targets
GM1126 7x64mm Caseless Subsonic: Decreases weapon report should be used
in conjunction with the sound suppressor for full effectiveness, lower muzzle velocity means less power and range.
GM1127 7x64mm Caseless APS: a Tungsten cored SLAP type projectile for use against armored targets,
decreased accuracy and increased barrel wear in exchange for the ability to penetrate almost all existing body-armors and many light-vehicle armors (penetration equivalent to 12.5mm AP rounds under ideal conditions)

Re: Military purchases?

My Lord,

Whilst your budgets are grossly small for modern weapons, airforces especially, the Ministry of Trade has consulted with New Chalcedon Armaments (NCA) Inc., and has come up with a list of equipment that may prove useful to your requirements.

The Imperial Air Force tends to utilise a variant of the NHI-NH90, with the principal variation being upgraded electronics and a variable weapons loadout for various purposes. For anti-armour operations, the Brimstone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brimstone_missile) anti-tank missile has proven most effective. If you wish your helicopters to go after bigger game, custom-modified Penguin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penguin_(missile)) air-surface missiles come highly recommended. For truly heavy work, a pair of AGM-154 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AGM-154) JSWs can be loaded instead. The price tag for these helicopters is USD 28 million; if you desire nose-mounted autocannons also, these can be installed for USD 2 million apiece.

As far as main combat aircraft are concerned, USD3bn is far too small for a true airforce, however, the Imperial Air Force is prepared to offer the Barony a squadron of EuroFighter Typhoons, a highly accomplished multi-role fighter, for USD1.5bn. The Typhoon is the aircraft of choice for the Imperial Air Force, and has in fact performed quite well in several conflicts to date, notably against Sukhoi-series aircraft, and F-18 Hornets.

Regarding the request for ground-based weaponry, the Imperial Army regrets to inform me that Imperial ground-based weapons are proprietary.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further information.

Regards,

Maximilian DeVeers
Imperial Secretary of Trade.

Subject: re. your request for proposals

My Lord,

It is with pleasure that I introduce both myself and my company, Crookfur Arms. Crookfur Arms is oen of the world's oldest and msot respected suppliers of defence material with a logn hisotry of providing dependable and cost effective solutions to our cusotmer's defence requirements.

In response to your your request for proposals for a new assault rifle we would like to Present the SX23A1 assault rifle (http://z8.invisionfree.com/Crookfur_Arms/index.php?showtopic=1), one of the world's most popular advanced infantry weapons.

Should a caseless solution not fufil your requirement we can offer an alternative in the form of the S1A5 evolved assault rifle (http://z8.invisionfree.com/Crookfur_Arms/index.php?showtopic=45)

Both of these weapons use rounds designed to give the very best balance of power, comfort and controllability.

In regard to your utility helicopter requirement we would like to suggest a possible alternative to a traditional helicopter solution in the shape of the CFH-24E Kestrel Medium Utility Rotodyne (http://z8.invisionfree.com/Crookfur_Arms/index.php?showtopic=40). Rotodynes offer large advantages in both range and speed when compared to helicopters.

Finally for your multirole requirement we could suggest the CFN-16B Terrier multi role SVTOL fighter (http://z8.invisionfree.com/Crookfur_Arms/index.php?showtopic=23). Whilst priamrily designed for naval operation the Terrier would still provide a exceptionally reliable and effective multi role fighter in land based operations.

My thanks for taking the time to read this and if you have any questions i will be more than happy to answer them.

Kind regards
Jennifer Alexander

Basically, the M.A.C-56 is an improved, lightened and refined SIG SG-550 series rifle manufactured under license in Anghele. The M.A.C-56 uses the same gas operated system, with gas piston removably attached to the bolt carrier, and with rotating bolt with two massive lugs. The recoil spring is located around the gas piston rod, above the barrel, and the bolt carrier attached to the gas piston rod by the mean of removable charging handle. The gas port has gas regulator with two different open and one closed position (latter for firing rifle grenades). The receiver of all M.A.C-5X series guns is made from stamped steel which makes it very resistant and has two major parts, upper and lower, which are connected by pushpins. The barrel is screwed into the upper receiver.Corrosion issues with the Sig 55X line of rifles have been addressed in the M.A.C-56 and all metal parts are now coated with a super corosion resistant Maritime Finish. The trigger unit has a safety/fire selector switch on the left side of the receiver, with 3 settings: safe, semi-auto, full-auto.If desired, additional module could be installed in the trigger mechanism to allow 2/3-rounds burst mode. Rear sights are drum-type or carrying handle integrated red-dot sights (like those found on Heckler-Koch rifles). On certain current production models rear sight is replaced with full-length Picatinny style rail with folding back-up reat sight. The M.A.C-56 has muzzle compensator/flash hider of NATO-standard diameter, so it is possible to launch rifle grenades from the muzzle and fit a sound suppressor. The M.A.C-56 can be fitted with detachable folding bipods under the handguard, and is issued with side-folding, skeletonized polymer buttstock. Every rifle of M.A.C-56 family can be fitted with proprietary, quick detachable scope mount, although current production rifles are usually fitted with one or more picatinny rails. Export versions can be equipped with commercial telescope sights, ACOG or "red dot" sights, depending on customer preferences. The M.A.C-56 also can be fitted with bayonet. Standard magazine capacity M.A.C-56 rifles is 30 rounds.Standard magazines are made of polymer can be clamped together for ease of carry, using the magazine studs on the side of the magazine walls.Further variants such as a Kurz (compact) model a mid-size battle rifle in 7.62 and a sniper rifle are being developed as well as a machine gun and 30/40mm grenade launching module.

Greetings, our company has become aware that you are in the market for some new weapons to update your military. We would like to offer the following equipment for your consideration.

For the Multi-Role Combat Fighter requirement, we submit our premier F-21 "Sparrowhawk" fighter for your consideration. Though it is only a single engine, our fighter is a true workhorse. Capable of operating from both fixed runways and Aircraft Carriers, as well as in the trainer role should the need arise. Furthermore, though the F-21 is a lightweight by most comparisons, it is this very light weightiness that gives it a greater advantage over other fighters. Fitted with the latest in stealth technology and with a multi-vector engine, not only can the F-21 slip into an area almost undetected to delivery it's payload or offer fighter coverage for other fighters, but with a greater agility then a twin-engine fighter, the F-21 is a supreme dogfighter should the need arise. In addition to all this, the F-21 has a good combat range of around 800 miles or so and can carry a decent size weapons load. Finally, the F-21 offers one final advantage, the ability to select from a wide range of weapons types. A full brochure can be found here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11253554&postcount=407).
Just in case none of the fighter types meets your approval and you decide to go with the F-16 or Gripen, our company would like to offer our services to you in procuring those weapons. Besides offering a good price on them, our company offers a wide range of discounts to offset some of the initial cost and also offers industrial offsets. This same offers also goes for the Helicopter contest.

Though we would have liked to offer a unique helicopter or assault rifle design for your consideration, sadly we had none. As a matter of fact we are still looking for that perfect assault rifle design to meet our needs. As such, which ever rifle you end up choosing, we would be interested in hearing what your selection process was in picking that particular design.

Thank you for your time and consideration in choosing UEMS.

Sincerely, Nicholas Stevens

Phoenix Dynamix would like to submit a few designs for your consideration.

We highly recommend the UH/SH-66 for your helicopter requirement.
SH-66"Dolphin III" ASW/Utility Helicopter
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/sh66.jpg
The SH-66 is an upgrade and retool of the SH-65A which was based on the HH-65 Dolphin / Dauphin 2 / Panther ASW/Rescue/Assault helicopter. Like the SH-65A, it has a 600lb capacity rescue hoist that can be used to rescue downed pilots, or to hold the dipping sonar to detect subs but the SH-66 can support two hoists at once! Some of the other improvements include the addition of 6 hardpoints as opposed to the original 4. Each hard point can carry 1 large missile (like the harpoon or exocet) or up to 8 smaller missiles (such as the Hellfire or stinger) Up to 6 medium sized missiles (like the penguin or maverick) can be held and rockets or gun pods of several types can be mounted as well. The internal cargo area and weight has also been increased, and two all new jet engines provide sufficient power(the SH-65 used gas turbine engines) Other versions of the SH-66 are in the works including UH and MH variants.

If the SH-66 does not suit you, then we invite you to look at our Super Huey.
MH/UH-1A1 Super Huey Assault/Utility Helicopter
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/UH-1A1.jpg
The Super Huey is a new advanced Helicopter which easily equals or surpasses the UH-60 BlackHawk and the MH-60 PaveHawk in performance and versatility. The UH-1A1 is obviously based on the venerable UH-1N Huey. Modern Huey variants are good, but they aren't able to fulfill the role of the modern assault chopper. This Super Huey has been lengthened by several feet, and it has been equipped with a fully updated electronics package, advanced avionics(including terrain following and avoidance radar, targeting systems, laser guidance systems and counter measures. The targeting systems come in handy when it uses its 25mm 3 barrel cannon(from the latest super cobra) which is mounted along with a MK-109 Grenade Machine Gun and Halogen Searchlight in a turret derived from the early HueyCobras. Standard on the Super Huey are 14 2.75inch folding fin rockets. Also standard are 2 .50 cal machineguns mounted behind a protected door which uses armor slits instead of glass to protect the gunner from shrapnel. For the 14 paratroopers that it can hold there is mounting for 2 M-240B 7.62mm machine guns as well. There are 3 reels and 1 600lb capacity winch mounted on the sides of the fuselage and also a cargo net to provide easy egress for air assault operations such as rappelling or fast roping. the winch can be used for para rescue operations as well. Also it has 4 composite rotor blades and a fully encased tail rotor for quieter operation. The fuselage allowed for longer thus more powerful engines and with re-fueling probe it has an in-flight refuel capability.

We also have some fighters you may be interested in.
F-31X Cyclone Interceptor
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/F-31X.jpg
The F-31X, based on the X-31 Technology demonstrator is an extremely maneuverable fighter, virtually unsurpassed in agility. The F-31X uses a new 4 panel thrust vectoring actuator and the same wing-twisting technology as the FU-29K Scorpion. The F-31X Cyclone achieved controlled flight and controlled roll around it's velocity vector at a 70 degree angle of attack, All at supersonic speeds. It also uses a system called a Helmet Mounted Visual/Audio Display (HMVAD). The HMVAD provides out-of-the-cockpit situational awareness and a simulated helmet-mounted sight to the pilot during high angle of attack combat maneuvering (where a normal HUD would be useless) It does not feature any stealth technology, however the tailless version (tail easily can be detached, sacrificing stability only not maneuverability), has a radar cross-section that is significantly less than that of a similar sized plane, increasing the time before it would show up on radar.

And we also have a good, lower cost yet highly capable option:
F-4X Phantom II
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/f4x.gif
The F-4X Phantom II started out as a "rip-off"(reverse engineering) of the Israeli F-4-2000(which supposedly equaled the F-18 Hornet) but has evolved into a distinctly Phoenix Dynamix aircraft. It can carry a full air-to air load of up to 12 Anti-aircraft missiles. Even with a full weapons load this aircraft can super cruise above mach 1 or, with afterburners, can travel over Mach 2 and out maneuver many modern fighters and attack aircraft. A phased array radar, new FLIR systems and new counter measures have also been added. The Phantom also has in-flight re-fuel capability and is fully carrier capable.

We would also like to offer the Nemesis Assault rifle series for consideration.

The AR-20, Mod 1 is the newest variant of the AR-20 Nemesis. It is currently in front line service with The Phoenix Milita's marines and other nations' armed forces. There are four variants. The carbine, the service rifle, the light machine gun/squad automatic weapon and the sniper/designated marksman's rifle. All variants use the same type of controls and share many parts with each other making training, maintenance and logistics easier. They also come in several competitive modern intermediate assault rifle calibers for versatility.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/grunt74/NS1/ar20mod1.png
top 5 images: configured ready for battle, bottom: in as shipped condition

The original AR-20 Nemesis (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=523631) was created by Phoenix Dynamix Labs in April 2007. The AR-20's creators looked at Eugene Stoner's original designs, Colt's modifications and improvements, as well as many AR-15 derived weapons such as the Barret M468, the Phoenix Dynamix AR-56, the H&K 416, ZM's LR300 and the Shrike 5.56. They also looked extensively at the combat history of these weapons and finally released an optimized weapons system and was finally deemed ready to compete on the NS battlefield. Four main variants were created with a variety of upper/lower combinations and accessories options. While the AR-20 proved to be extremely rugged compared to previous AR-15 type weapons, with equal or greater durability to the 416 in most tests, and offering ambidextrous configuration options, there was still, astonishingly, found to be room for improvement. Under the auspices of The Phoenix Military, Phoenix Dynamix's Firearms Division created the AR-20 Mod 1 in March of 2008. The mod 1 features several improvements which came directly from user feedback. The most dramatic and noticeable change is perhaps the lengthened top rail which now runs along the entire length of the upper. Another major change is the improved retractable buttstock which is based upon aftermarket add-ons that were being purchased with increasing regularity by TPM infantrymen. The integral flip up iron sights have also been improved as has the sight mounting system, allowing for use of backup iron sights while optics are still attached. Bayonet lugs have been improved in order to allow for a full size bayonet to be easily attached even with the 10.5 inch barrel. The improvements have been applied to the entire AR-20 line.
The AR-20A1, Mod 1 is available with a 10.5, 14.5 or 16 inch barrel and in either a flat black or a coyote brown finish.
