Lucinda woke up, the room was alight, she was bleeding, it was all a blur, she woke up and stumbled out the door of her hut, the island was alight. People were dyeing on the floor burning, un-identifiable. The whole noise numbed her head, the trees were alight and swaying madly in the wind.

Lucinda ran to the next hut which wasnt alight....yet......she found the emergency flare in the rescue pack under the floor boards.

She lit several, she run down to the gentle water lapping against the shore, she was screaming so loud but it sounded so numb to her, she waved the flares, it was like the apocolypse.

OOC: *bump* Id like this to be a rescue thread.

Oak Amphibious Assault Ship as well as a Missile Destroyer and a Missile Frigate ,were sailing pass when one of the looks out spot the fire and someone on the beach

"order a J10 over there now and get some Higgins J class Landing Craft readly"order the Captian in command of the three ships


a hour later a J10 Huey land on the beach an out get three soldiers and a officers

Lucinda was in tears, she broke down into an officers arms...

Lucinda squeezed the officers hand, she then nodded off as the shock was all too much for her....

A pair of Raptors hurtled over the Huey, their pilots on a patrol duty from their aircraft carrier home (VTN Invincible), and looked in awe at the devastation beneath them.
"Jesus..."
"Report back!"
"Right, right..." He cleared his throat. "Invincible, Seagull 1 and 2 reporting in. Neutral ships sighted, no real threat. However, we've just found an Island that's goddamn alight." There was silence on the radio for a second.
"Say again, Seagulls, the island is burning?"
"Yes captain. I reckon their all dead. Doing a sweep, if we see anything we'll tell you." The two raptors veered away, moving slowly over the island, trying to spot any sign of life.

From the other end of the island, Alicia was coughing she was near death, she was praying, she couldnt escape anywhere, she then saw the small lake, she went and jumped in, it cooled and soothed her skin, she was only wearing a small top and little shorts, her skin was so hot and burnt.

A few minutes later, the helicopter landed and 5 marines hopped out. Never go on a rescue op in a burning island without proper equipment. One of them made his way over to Alicia.
"Ma'am, you okay? What happened here?"

A pair of P-1117 Kingfishers flew by on their way to Lynion. As they passed near the beach, the smoke was clearly visible. The masked troopers inside reported to the SRS Annhililator, then turned in towards the burning island.

The marine barked in Templarian, and a medic ran over. He looked her over, wincing at the shard of metal.
"Come on, lets get you out of here." They helped her up out of the lake, propping her up so her weight rested on the medic and not her leg. They moved her over and sat her in the helicopter. The medic turned around, shouted to the other marines who piled into the helicopter, and then moved over to treat Alicia as best he could without the medical bay on the Invincible. The helicopter took off, the two raptor's escorting it. "Okay, we're heading back to our ship. We'll get you properly treated once we're there. Whats your name?"

I flew over your helicopter. I did not fire on it, didn't lock on with missiles, wasn't on an intercept course. Not only that but your the one who said about the SAM system covering your helicopter. SAM's fire. Hence, you said about firing. I reckon you would ask what we're doing before you fired on a friendly/neutral aircraft.

The captain of the squad of marines, which had stayed behind to search for more survivors and to kill the perpetrators of the massacre, whirled around, his gun aiming for the soldiers before he realized they weren't hostile.
"Sorry about that. We're not that sure, we just picked up a survivor, who said something about someone coming at night and lighting the place up. Rebels, terrorists or pirate are the best guesses. At any rate, were here to look for more and to avenge the dead." The two helicopters flew around the edge of the islands, searching for the Rebels
