"It's a joke. I admit it's not a good one, but it's a joke. It's caused me to stay at home for several days and has kept me from continuing my work, so I guess that makes it a bug." Theo said, shrugging.

Anna Maria walked ahead of Yani to the reserved VIP private booth, she smiled as he helped her to seat at the table, "Ohh, a gentleman, you even discreetly cheaked me out, it's the obvious ones who creep me out..", she continued to grin and replyed to his questions, "Well, i come from Osteia...a disfuctional home?..i was privillaged growing up, i am a spitting image of my mother who passed away when i was young, i have two brothers and my father...im a daddys girl.."

She brought the delicate wine glass to her lushious lips and took a gentle sip,

"What else?" She looked him directly in the the eyes waiting for a responce...

Yani smiled as he listened to the angelic voice of the Osteian woman he adored with his eyes fully locked upon her as if she were the most important person in the world. She was like an Aphrodite-on-Earth; as if the Goddess of Love and Beauty Herself descended upon Earth in the form of this Osteian woman. He gave his condolences when he heard about her mother passing away quite early in her life and smirked, just a little, when he heard about her being a daddy's girl. Seeing her drink the wine tantalized him. There could be no other woman better than this one he had found here. "....You sound like a very nice person but you didn't have to tell me to make me believe that. As for me, I was born in Aresium into a family with two sisters; with me being the eldest child. I went to university, did my studies, and soon I became the leader's personal assistant. My home wasn't dysfunctional; we all had happy lives. I'm single at the present time. As for being the leader's assistant, it's a good paying job I never expected to have. Do you work, Anna Maria?"

Yani took a sip of his wine and smiled. ".....I've pretty much had a good life and I'm thankful for it. I do plan on starting a family, sometime, but such things require the proper woman. I can't just get into the bed of some woman I find on the street....it must be the woman I feel most attached with."

Brian walked along the beach, the waves lapping peacefully on the shore. He found an umbrella, sat down, and started to meditate.

"Brian? Lanus, I think that is him."

Philomena had decided to go down to the beach with her bodyguard in a modest swimsuit that retained the modesty she desired to maintain but which complimented her slender figure to make her all the more alluring to people. Lanus wore his own fittings and, though they made him a lot more appealing, one could say he was still a tad too stoic. He did smile, though, because he had remembered seeing a much younger Philomena at a beach in Aresium when he accompanied her and others.

Philomena smiled at Brian. She still remembered him. "....It's nice to see you again, Brian. How have you been? I see you must be contemplating the stillness and the sounds of nature."

"Oh, nothing. I've just contracted writer's block." Theo said back to Faye. When he looked up he was silent for a short time until he said, "Now what would your name be?" Theo smiled.

'My name is Faye' she said smiling, she rolled her lips.

"....I have tried, at times, to meditate or, rather, to escape the stress that comes with politics by focusing on something that I enjoy doing or learning about. I mediate on things, for example, such as a verse from a poem or a quote from some philosophical text that has caught my interest. At school, I would meditate on something that I wanted to know more about and, then, would be enlightened about the truth concerning it. I must concur with you in saying this area really is nice. Mind if I join you?"

"....An empty mind, free of worry and doubt, cleanses the soul and calms the body, Brian. I remember that there were a group of people, the Stoics (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoicism), who focused on that sort of meditation. Their ideals did come to Aresium through the importing of their texts. There is a quote by a Stoic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Aurelius) I often say to myself every morning....."

Philomena smiled. "......My nation was essentially founded by the descendants of Ancient Greek sailors and soldiers who mixed with the native tribesmen and thus we have a strong Greek culture base. There are some Aresians who are of pure native blood and some who are of pure Greek blood and there are many who are a mixture of the two groups. There is also a bit of a Roman base as well since our old royal family, which is now a bunch of wealthy commoners, holds that their ancestors include Caligula, a Roman Emperor of old. The Greek influences are still very visible and number many if one was to analyze and count each. Any other questions?"

Faye was busy behind the bar, patrons and locals flooded in every night, she only had two hours left, she wondered if Theo would come back and find her after her shift.

Mark searched through his suitcase searching for his 'entertainment' he finally found what he was looking for. He pulled out a small plastic bag containing a white powder, he poured a little on the dresser in his room. He neatly made a line and snorted the cocain, now all buzzing and excited he went out of his room and into the bar where he saw Faye and said fastly "Hey, can i get a drink please?" and before she could answer he said "Redbull."

Faye had managed to sort her hair and she had a change of clothes for after her shift,and nice long skirt with little black shoes and a wooly jumper - not particularly sexy, but it was getting cold these long evenings

Philomena had been swimming in the nearby sea whilst Lanus kept watch over his ward in the same stoic fashion she had seen him with ever since she was given his services by the man she called her beloved father for so many years. Eventually, she had decided to come out of the water and dry her lithe frame off so that she wouldn't have to worry about her clothes getting wet. She walked back with Lanus into the spa retreat where she saw Jack and David along with Mark who had just sniffed some cocaine into his nostrils. There was no sign of Brian, Philomena noted, as she walked around while Lanus followed in silence as he always had while making sure he looked like her bodyguard rather than her lover because he was only platonically concerned for Philomena who he found to be beautiful but not as much as someone else would. It was entirely possible, he noted, that she could lose her virginity here in Feninia but he knew how chaste Philomena was and how she wanted only the right man to do that sort of work. Philomena looked around for somewhere to eat and wondered where that place would be. After all, even national leaders must eat!

She smiled and sat close to him, her skin so perfect, despite the remains of a bruise on her cheek which was now evident as her make-up had faded.
