OOC: I'm giving people an insight into Lynion and the tension that Vamp is currently going through. It's set 1 month after the Last Pirate Alliance War and it won't affect the post me and UN are doing. It's OPENED at the moment but that might change over time. This will also start the questioning of the leadership of High King Vamp. I would also like people's opioin about the subject in Vamp's speech in OOC form. One last point, you can pick up the transmission in radio form but this is only about the insight into the Lynion's and you can respond.

When you become King of Lynion, there's these decission's you have to make which can be on the spot. They can be anything from economic aid, local aid, regional aid and then there's the haunting one that stalks every leader when the times comes: Delcaration of War. When Vamp returned from his conquest of the Pirate Alliance, he started to question himself after the war had ended and the possibility of his leadership ending. However, one thing that has never occured to him was that one day, he would be forced to make a speech about something everyone hated. He didn't wanted to give the speech but there was no-one else to ask at the time.
A couple of days later, he boarded a Blackhawk MK 2 rotorless chopper and was given to a ride to the Doom Chain Islands. They were better known as the islands that became waste lands. The chopper was just coming close to the chain islands when the blast doors opened and the wind blew into the hull of the chopper. The air was bitter as the chopper passed over the wastelands of the chain islands. It was a nightmare coming a reality but how was he going to explain it in his speech. The radiation was low in one area and Vamp was given a suit design to repel the nuclear radiation for about an hour.
The chopper hand in the sky as it hovered over the island as Vamp set foot onto the island. He was given 45 minutes before he had to leave. Just four months ago, the chain islands were famous for its culture, its entertainment and the market. Vamp passed through a bombed out ruin of a school as he past by rooms that once had cheerful children in it, teachers that were teaching the children before the nuclear weapons dropped onto the chain islands. He went back outside and saw what seemed to be a packed main road with the burnt out bodies of cars as his watch on his left arm went off. He had ventured too close to the concentrated zone where it was believed for the nuclear missile to have landed. He had seen enough and decided to head back to the chopper. He came to the beach and waved his hands about to get the attention of the chopper as it came back down. Vamp boarded the chopper and headed home.
His mind raced with thoughts as he was sprayed with a substance that was designed to remove the radiation when he arrived at Lynscert Island. He looked around as he met with the faces of the people who had lost loved ones in the nuclear strike. Vamp started the trip back to Lynx Island onboard the train as he looked out the window. He didn't have someone with him as he wanted to make this decision himself. Vamp's mind went into lock down as he pushed reality out of his head and consentracted on the speech. He had prayed that he wouldn't have to make a speech like this since the Japanese attempted Invasion in 1942. Roef had supplied Canedian Army with the nuclear weapons for defensive purposes. He had given orders to blockard Canedian Army rather than invading it because they had no reasons to invade CA. However, before orders could be given to leave the blockard, Canedian Army lunaches its nuclear weapons at Lynion. It was the effort of the AA gunners and the orbital defence system that destroyed the nuclear weapons before they found their targets. All except one nuclear missile that wiped out the Doom Chain Islands.
Two hours later
Vamp had to address the people of Lynion and its colonies. He had prepared the speech he was going to give and stood in the holographic device that sent the message to the colonies and the people of Lynion. Vamp had a minute before he went live to air. However, there was also the chance that another nation would pick this up. It was cut off for another 15 minutes due to technical difficulties and this gave him a moment. Woff had come to give him support and handed him a telegram that was sent from Lyra when they were ordering equipment. It talked about how they stood with honour and virture. He passed it back to Woff as the device came back online and Vamp stepped forward. The room was part of the Palace on Lynx Island which was designed to give speeches on short noticed but this was a long notice speech. He was live on air as he started to give his speech.
"People of the Vamperial Kingdom of Lynion and her colonies," started Vamp as he gave his attention to the device that was sending his image and speech around Lynion. "It's being some time since the destruction of Canedian Army and it also being some time since we lost contact with the Black Chain Islands. I had the chance to visit the chain islands and it was like Horshima but only worse. Like everyone knows, there was no survivours except for a weak signal stating that nuclear missiles were coming towards them," contiuned Vamp as he took a deep breath. "I am calling this call to the Lynion race and in two days time, we are going to go to the polls and vote. Should Lynion stand down and let this event pass by us? Or do we wage a war with Roef knowing that this will only be on vengence for our dead and the fallen? I cannot make my mind up on this matter and on purpose, this transmission can be picked up in radio form to nations that can pick up foriegn radio signals. If there are any foriegn nations listening into this, I would like to hear what you think about this event and what you think Lynion should do as a nation. Should we wage war? Or do we let this event past?" finished Vamp before the transmission cut back to the regular programming.
