Harnland Special Forces (HSF) are well known for breaking international law to complete their mission. Their headquarters is a enormous, hidden complex in Harnland.
Recently, HSF launched 'Operation Delta Protocol', an operation designed to elimante terrorist organization 'Baseplate', an anarchist organization dedicated to destroying every single government in the world. According to HSF intelligence, Baseplate operates under a different name in every nation. They are particulary strong in Africa and the Middle-East.
In line with this, a massive oil reserve in southern Harnland was discovered. The Commonwealth is debating over to welcome foreign oil companies, as this oil reserve contains over 4 million barrels, according to most oil companies and the Commonwealth government.
As the heat is turned up on 'The Oil Patch' wth several near attacks on it, will this lead to a new global conflict?
In line with Operation Delta Protocol, HSF have launched 'Operation Swift Taker' designed to protect the area around 'The Oil Patch'. In order to protect 'The Oil Patch', HSF regularly must sink cargo ships with no registration number.

"Ship captured." spoke Captain Alex Walker into his headset.
"Discovered anything?" asked HSF.
"Yes. This ship is carrying uranium." replied Walker.
"Seriously? I'll send for a Johnson to pick it up." gasped HSF.
"What about us? " demanded Walker, staring at the steel box which contained the uranium, which would probably be used to build nuclear weapons.
"I'll send a Native 12 for you lot," said HSF. "Sit tight."
"How long, Walks?" asked Private Michael McGary.
"Probably two hours. A Johnson will pick up the uranium, then a Native will get us." explained Walker.
"I hope no MiGs get us like in Africa!" laughed McGary.
"We all do," laughed Corparel Paul Jackson. "Say, you got that vodka?"

Sarah Troy stared into the camera as she prepared to recite the latest news story.
"The Government has just decided to open 'The Oil Patch' to all democratic nations. The discovery, just a few weeks old, has been virtually the only thing debated in parliament. Our Political Correspondent, Harry Wilson, is in Alexander City.
The screen switches to a young man behind a large building.
"Just minutes ago, Parliament decided to open up 'The Oil Patch' to foreign nations. The debate between the government, the Socialist Party and the Liberal Party was won by seventy-seven 'ayes' to twenty-three 'nos'. This means all democratic oil companies are invitied to extract oil from 'The Oil Patch'. The basic rule applying to this is 'first come, first serve'. Indeed, with the estimated four million barrels there, this will profit all nations involved."

Cargo Ship.

"MiGs! Get the hell out of there!" shouted HSF into each soldier's headset.
They started running towards the Native 12, but the MiGs blew it up.
"Shit!" shouted HSF.
Walker was on his knees, praying to God. McGary grabbed his M21 sniper rifle, but it was too late. The other MiG had launched a missle at the fuel container. The ship exploded.
"Operation Society begins, my friend. The world will soon be free from government." said one of the MiG pilots.

FROM: The Commonwealth of Harnland Department of Defense.
SUBJECT: Baseplate.

Harnland informs all nations that Baseplate have started an operation which is dedicated to ending government in our world. Harnland alerts all nations to take heed from us and destroy Baseplate in their nation. It is likely that Baseplate is the 2nd biggest terror organization in your country, and you must elimante them. They are a danger to the world. I ask you, what would we have without government? Nothing. All government built buildings (swimming pools, sport centres, etc.) wouldn't be there. We would all be starving to death.
I recommend each nation starts a operation with their Special Operations force to destroy these terrorists. We hope you listen.

OOC: 4 million barrels of oil is really small as far as oil fields go and, frankly, not worth the investment. Might want to up it to 4 billion.

Official Statement from TSRT Government
"The TSRT finds the proclamation from the nation of Harnland amusing, to say the least. According to the Intelligence-Commissariat, there is no organization known as 'Baseplate' operating inside the Red Tidean Mainland.

However, we have noted another, more concerning issue.

The nation of Harnland has discovered an oil field it is calling 'The Oil Patch' and is inviting foreign corporations to invest in the field. However, it is demanding that any foreign corporations come from a 'democratic government', a baseless criteria with no clear definition that the TSRT finds both offensive and restrictive when it comes to global trade.

The TSRT hereby demands that the Harnland government permit all foreign corporations to invest and extract the oil found in the oil patch or it will be forced to intervene."
