History:
The year is 1044
A man named Ravian Remijnse, just cameback from a war, holding his axe, walked around in an forrest. He headed toward the beach, and found a nice boat, with slaves on it. A rich, british man was the boss of it. Ravian Remijnse sneaked toward him, and murderd him with his axe. Than he forced the slaves to use the ship for him. Days he was on sea, until he founded a nice island, with high tree's, and a lot of food and beast to hunt.
He asked the slaves, to stay and build a city with him. There where 2 womans on the ship, taken there by the british man. After some time, they got children, and they got chidren, and so on. After a long time, a true nation had rissen. The city they frist builded, became the capital of Roef.
But than, real bad things happend: There had bin a murder upon Ravian Remijnse's his son... The killed, was hanged for it after they got him...
The nation had rissen, and a lot of other people came by sea. For years, nothing was heard or happend at Roef. Until in 1757 a revolution against the king happend. The king was murdert, but his son took command after him. They killed the revolutionary's, and brought peace. Than, the president of Roef, in the year 2008, named the dictatorship of roef into: The Fat People Republic of Roef...

Military:
A lot of man join the military, as that is the best job you can get in the nation. In 2008, roef got some company's, like M.H.T.G, to sell weapons and tanks. The nation had fought many wars, but always won or, after years of loss, striked back. The biggest is the cavalery, most budget is on that. The airforce is a lot smaller, the smallest thing in Roef-ian military. Infantry is good trained, and always ready to go.

(OOC: Cavalery counts as tanks and such, infantry as foot soldiers, just saying.)

Is the history you've recounted a folk history? Something that your people have told as an oral origin story but may not be empirically true?

Because if it isn't, it would be nigh impossible to have a viable, healthy population with but two females. An 11th century merchant ship isn't going to have much beyond perhaps twenty people. If you add in your founding father, literal and figurative apparently, you've got, for example, nineteen men to two women. Opinions on minimum population sizes usually state that at least fifty members are needed to prevent horrible inbreeding afflictions. Though I can't find demographics on minimum population sizes, I'd be more than willing to assume that those populations need more than two females.

Also, if this Briton is taking slaves...where is his crew? The extra scalliwags that helped him take all those slaves or at least keep them under control?

OOC: ZOMFG! Incest! You also listed government as corrupt (wtf?), wrote "color" wrong, referred to the Dutch Language as "nederlands", and made your history more akin to a fairy tale (a disturbing one at that) then an actual nation's past. Technically, the only war your fighting in is against grammar and logic (your losing BTW). I highly doubt even the most well trained and equipped forces in the world could handle your butchering of the English language.

Also, if you would read the first part of my previous post, I asked if the history was a folk history, a legend, akin to Rome's founding and descent from Romulus and Remus.

My intent is to help Roef flesh out his history or his origin story, not cruelly burn him down.

There were certainly British people in the 11th century. The problem is that the British only left their small part of the isles (Scotland, Ireland, and Wales weren't very good friends with them as you can imagine) when there were crusades and the such. It was not until the late 16th century that the British actually became anything resembling a merchant empire. Not to mention the British only kept slaves in the colonies.

I'll take your word for it, there's kind of a gap in my world history between about 1 CE and 1950. I should probably work on that...

OOC: You should probably get started then. Being Canadian has it's advantages when it comes to British history.
